LGD took our backyard from a muddy, grassless mess to a pristine outdoor area that we re very excited to spend time in! The team was easy to work with, able to get us on their schedule sooner than anticipated, and completed the project quite quickly. Would highly recommend hiring them.

I could go on forever with this review... Simply put... Colin and his men went above and beyond with their services. Not only did they do the job with the spirit of excellence with top notch communication... They did things that I didnt even ask them to do. Like cut out two placemats for the front and back door of the artificial turf. Loaded up a bunch of old wood and trash that I was going to have to pay to have someone come out and do. Help me move my boat out of the way so I could work on it... I literally can go on and on about how good these guys are. They will always have my business and they will be the only company that I recommend... If I could give more than five stars I would.

I had a very positive experience with LGD. In the middle of our project, an unrelated plumbing issue was discovered which caused stoppage of progress. Once the job started, the team worked their tails off for 5 days until sundown each day to ensure that the project was complete in a high quality and timely way. I contacted the LGD Lawn and Landscape team after some recent rain exposed how badly the french drain system in my backyard needed to be replaced. Previous homeowner had installed the Lowes do-it-yourself version with a half hearted effort. LGD was quick to respond, got me in touch with a very good electrician to re-run those lines for the pump, and installed a pump that will take the second coming of Katrina before any water will accumulate in my backyard. The team who did the work was on time, professional, and had my back yard looking like nothing was even dug after the job was finished. Cannot recommend enough! If you have any issues with drainage, call these guys and get right!

I got quotes from several companies that had good reviews. NOLA LGD have the best reviews and they quoted me the best price, so it was a no brainer to go with them. They replaced my entire lawn (4 palettes of St. Aug + 3 yds river sand mix) in about today and it looks very nice and level. Glad I found and went with them! I hired them again to fix my pool deck in July 2023 It was not easy to find anyone that would relevel our outdoor pool travertine deck that was all badly unlevel due to ground settling issues the past 10 years. I tried getting lots of quotes, but only three companies actually came back with a price. Once again LGD had the best price and I know they stand by their work and really aim to please the customer. Therefore, it was once again a no-brainer to let them do the work. It took 3 guys four days to do the job. They removed all the pavers and then redid the foundation so that it was better than it was from the prior/original installer. They did a great job laying the pavers back on top and were willing to swap pieces that I did not like with better pieces even when it required recutting pieces. They finished up with getting polymeric sand between the pavers. They found some local matching ivory travertine pavers to replace some that were cracked and they were nice enough to leave us some extra pavers. It looked very level and pretty when they were done.

Best lawn service in town. They take pride in their work and do an excellent job. They fixed my fence and gate. Great people.

LGD redid our backyard summer of 2022, installing a brick patio and lots of landscaping. It has grown in so nicely and all the plants are doing so well despite the extreme weather we have had since then. All the shrubs have bloomed beautifully and staggered throughout the year just like we asked. As you can see from the photos, we are bad about maintenance (lol leaves everywhere), but the plants have flourished despite our neglect. I recently had LGD installed a 600 sq putting green. They did an amazing job led be crew chief Wilmer. Owner Colin came out to the site a few days prior to go over all the details and map out the project. He and supervisor Alex were always responsive. The job took just under 4 days from start to finish. Highly recommend them for their professional work and also affordability!

We ve used Colin and LGD for two major projects. The first was turfing our backyard and building our patio. He and his crew were so good, we didn t bother to call anyone else when we decided to have our landscaping re-done. They re everything you hope for when you hire someone: professional, on-time, true to estimate, and conscious of your neighbors. We don t have enough good things to say about LGD.

Colin and LGD landscape crew are awesome! After going through a couple other local companies for yard maintenance we were so happy to find them last year. They are quick, efficient and reliable with ongoing upkeep throughout the year. I also appreciate how great the entire team communicates with their clients. Weve had them install a brick patio in our backyard, redo several plant beds complete with an auto sprinkler system, create a use zone for our outdoor playset, and replenish all the limestone throughout the property. I am not a plant person and when I said Do whatever, I trust you. they certainly delivered. The upkeep on our end is super easy and all the plant choices are low maintenance. I cannot recommend them enough!

For years, weve struggled with an inability to grow grass, most plants or enjoy decent outdoor living space due to the volume of historic oak trees on our property and the green strip owned by the city. You WILL hire Colin and his LGD team. Together, Colins team were able to convert an unconventional city owned green strip that was a mud pit and with the permission of Parks and Parkways, they did an artificial turf install exactly according to the very sensitive specs provided by the lead arborist, so safety of the oaks was preserved. Nearly everyone walking past our home stops and stares at the green strip and our highly visible patio and walkway. Its simply stunning. As an entrepreneur, communication is key. I assure you Colin will overcommunicate with you and put his eyes on a project while addressing ideas that may not come to mind. Colin visited us twice prior to the project starting. His bid was submitted promptly and priced appropriately. Colin was on site during the hardscape process and while my wife and I were traveling when the time came to install the turf, he assured us we would arrive home with the project completed and we would embrace what we would see. He was dead on with the assessment and project management. My wife was elated upon the return home to see an eye-opening job well done! Just hire they guy and dont think twice. These guys were great. They just made my deadzone into a playground. Great workers were figuring it out the whole time and respectfully finished early. My son wants spray paint to put lines for a football field!? My 3 kids still roll around for hours on my best investment.

All the people working on our full yard replacement/drainage project were way beyond any expectation we may have had prior to the job! They preformed at a top level in all aspects of the job from design to installation. LGD Lawn and Landscape completed underground drainage on the side of my house. Water was collecting on the rear of my home near my air conditioning units. Colin, the owner, came out and gave me a quote. I was worried the project would not work or go as planned, but LGD was very reassuring, answering all of my questions, and reassured me that they knew exactly what needed to be done to fix the issue. A crew of five, led by Jose, worked an entire day and completed the project. They used high quality materials. The crew was courteous, professional, and provided excellent workmanship. And when the project was completed, they installed limestone. They laid weed barrier before placing the limestone to prevent the limestone from sinking into the soil and weeds growing through. The completed project exceeded my expectations. I would recommend LGD Lawn and Landscape to my family, friends, and anyone who asks.

We decided to have 2 trees installed to replace a palm that froze...and artificial turf to create a fun grassy spot for our kids to play in. We just put in a pool and used LGD to install turf around the edges. They were very responsive despite high demand and a hurricane interrupting the install date. Only took them two days and it looks amazing. Keeps the backyard and house nice and clean from our dogs who used to track in dirt and mud constantly. The dogs love it too. Definitely recommend them for turf installation.

We have a large oak tree in our front yard. Grass always had a hard time growing in a large portion of the lawn. They were able to give us several options based on our budget and our preference regarding plants that tolerate shade. They installed drainage from one of our gutters, that always seemed to pool. It rained yesterday, and there was no water pooling. They installed a patio in our back yard, which we look forward to enjoying when the weather warms up just a bit. LGD did a wonderful job completely redoing our yard. They came up with a beautiful design and executed it to a tee. Collin went above and beyond to help find the culprit for a sink hole and even sent out a plumber to snake the line. Lakeview Grass Doctors is absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend them enough. I am not sure there is anything they can t do. I had them do one job that consisted of some landscaping my front and back yard. I was so impressed that I brought them back not a month later to do more landscaping, add some walkways, some limestone around my garage and a beautiful paver back porch with grilling area and in ground lights. Absolutely the best!!

We just completed a HUGE yard renovation with LGD. Colin, Lenny, Christian, Jose and the rest of the LGD crew were beyond amazing! They turned our backyard (and front yard) into a place where we actually want to be and spend time! They customized our garden with beautiful plants that it is able to tolerate and installed an irrigation system and lights, so we never have to worry about watering with this Louisiana heat and our yard is automatically lit up at night. The best part is with our NEW Turf, we no longer have to worry about our spotty St Aug grass and mud when we are trying to entertain or when our puppies are running in and out of the house. Colin and the LGD crew did a great job on my project (gravel parking area plus grading and installing St Augustine sod in the side yard.) Colin was very responsive to questions I had prior to accepting the bid and kept me up to date on scheduling (there was frequent rain prior to the job start) and in the end they started on the originally planned date. The crew arrived with all of the right equipment and got an early start on all three days. An issue with an underground water line was identified so I had it fixed by their recommended plumber with no schedule impact. The crew was excellent and patiently waited out almost-daily showers to get done on time, and even went the extra mile to remove some old concrete from the yard and install some extra sod in another area of the yard. Everything was finished in 3 days. Sod was of excellent quality and 2 1/2 weeks later is settling in nicely. Would work with again or recommend to anyone with a similar project.

Lenny was fantastic in helping me come up with an efficient design for my small uptown lot, and the entire install team was friendly and professional, even working through some inclement weather. I was split between two different landscaping companies to install a patio paver pad in my backyard. Both companies appeared to be reputable and professional with high quality workmanship, but the deciding factor for me choosing to work with LGD was their superior customer service and business promo. The staff was receptive, easily accessible, professional, patient, prompt and their social media promotions and street advertisement were impressive. They have a strong online presence and I would frequently see their company trucks with the LGD logo traversing throughout the community. I was not let down. The quote, the customer experience and the quality of work far exceeded my expectations and I look forward to working with them again in the future and if you re on the fence and indecisive I d recommend you give them a try.

I called LGD looking for an estimate for some yard work. The person on the phone took all of my info and a representative called me the next day to discuss what I wanted to do. Her name was Ana and she offered to come by the same day to check out the property. When she arrived she provided several different options for me and my family to consider. She was amazing and I was very impressed by the quick and knowledgeable response I got from LGD!

I really wanted to work with this company - they scheduled an estimate for 8:30 A.M. in the morning, at 9:30 A.M. they had not arrived - no call, no show. When I called the office, they stated that the estimator had gotten held up at another site from a 7:30 appointment (2+ hours). I should have been called to re-schedule the moment it became apparent the estimator was going to be late. The estimator failed to communicate with the office and the office failed to communicate with me. It is clear that this company does not value your time. Be warned. If they are late to even get your business, it says a lot about how the work will be handled.

We had a serious drainage problem with our backyard. The yard would flood and create pools of water for days after a rain. We knew we had a serious project on our hands and had several businesses and people come out for estimates. By far, LGD was the most professional business we had interacted with and I can say we are very happy we made the choice to go with them! We added drainage, fill, sod and some light landscaping and we couldnt be happier. We went from a backyard that was a virtually unusable eyesore, to a beautiful space that we love spending time in! We cant thank Josh and Colin enough for their professionalism, timeliness and going the extra mile!

Dishonest not only with me, but in order to pay him I went on Paypal to pay. You either click to pay for a business or a friends and family. Since he is not set up as a real business you must pay as friends and family. So when he cheats you and does exactly what you ask him not to do no recourse. He told me not to pay him since I told him the only thing I did not want was pine needles and that was what he put down while I was away. But I did anyway because it did cost him something. However...he lied and told me the mulch (pine needles) cost $12 a bag!!!! Disaster!!! Less than 30 days all washed away. BEWARE!! Ps some places his name is LakeviesSgrassdoctorS other places Lakeviewgrassdoctors. In other words some have an S after lakeview some dont . Gee I wonder why. Lol

I have been having my lawn serviced by the grass doctors for two years now and have nothing but high praises for their work and professional attitude. The billing system is easy to use and the workers are extremely friendly. The main reason why I stick with the grass doctors is their reasonable price and the consistency of the cuts. I also want to mention that I am extremely high maintenance, in fact, I have fired 3 grass companies before him. He has now been with me for years.
