Great experience from start to finish with the friendly, knowledgeable team at SavATree. Nathan came out to give me a free estimate, beating others by half. He then called within a few days to complete the work. The wonderful crew was fast, efficient and left my yard in better shape than they found it, taking the time and care to pick up every errant twig. I would highly recommend using SavATree and will do so again myself in the future.

Nathan timberman is a great arborist with intimate knowledge and hands on experience when it comes to plant care. Lots of guys can prune trees but Savatree and Nathan in particular offer a breadth of knowledge that I m confident in when it comes to caring for my landscape beyond just cutting. Oh! And they did an awesome job on my lawn too. 10/5 would recommend

My husband called the New Milford SavAtree and spoke with a very personable and kind Office staff who scheduled an appointment with Michael promptly. He came to my property and answered all our concerning questions regarding our lawn and plantings around the landscape. He was very intelligent and patient while we walked the property addressing these concerns. He then provided an excellent plan to mitigate the most important issues. I would highly recommend a consultation with Michael and the New Milford SavATree staff as a whole and plan to continue using their services in the future.

Splendid. Exceeded expectations. I cannot tell how many people have worked on the property and not cleaned up properly. This crew was well-trained, courteous and if you need large trees pruned, these are the people to do it.

After trying the other lawn fertilizing companies and found that they either didn t show up and said they did or did not address my concerns about my lawn. After a few years of this I ended up going to SavaTree and I am glad I did. The service is great. They have addressed my concerns about my lawn and resolved the problem. I now have a beautiful thick lawn and grass growing where it never had in the past. Do they cost more than the other services ..probably but SavaTree is well worth the difference in price. Mike, their arborist is excellent and will take the time to answer your questions. I am a very happy customer.

We have used Sav-a-Tree and Sav-a-Lawn for several years for maintenance. One time some tree trimming and safety. And then today they did a large project with multiple tree removals, complicated trimming, etc. and it sealed the deal why we are customers of this company. The value far exceeds the cost in how they do business. The care for our property (putting down carpets to protect the grass, avoiding landscaping, bringing heavy machinery through very tight fence openings and padding the fence to avoid damage), their professionalism, the attention to detail, knowledge of what is best for our trees and lawn, and a clean-up and removal so good you hardly realized they were here, except for leaving behind perfectly trimmed trees and sun and openings that we were desperate for! Thank you to the Sav-a-Tree team.

Save a Tree did a great job working on my property! . Took down a large tree and trimmed a few others. Nathan listened to what I wanted , and worked with me on a game plan for what was best for the trees and my plans for the property. Nick and Byron were also very skilled and respectful . They took down the tree , and consulted with me throughout the day to make sure I was happy . They also cleaned up the yard afterwards. Could not be happier with the work . Highly recommend!

I highly recommend SavATree and Arborist Victoria McCarthy. Vicky recommended the Organic programs for my lawn and shrubs because we both care about the environment and pollinators. My fruit trees have produced an abundant amount of apples and pears since I started the organic program and my lawn is thick and lush with zero amount of weeds. Its a little more money for the organic methods but so worth it in the long run. Its good for the environment, helps our pollinator population from shrinking and I can eat fresh fruit right from the tree.

I wanted to thank Mike Frangione and the team for the wonderful and professional service outside my home. They fullfilled everything I asked for in a respectable fashion. After a recent home purchase we were in need of an arborist due to a damaged Maple tree in our backyard. After careful consideration and a thorough evaluation of their reviews, we chose SavATree. Nathan visited our home, examined our Maple tree, and determined we could not only save it but that after proper pruning and feeding, that the 100+ year old Maple should last many more years. The crew arrived on time, were incrediblly professional and worked fast but safely. I was sincerly surprised when the men went over and above to help me with some additional work. After they finished they did an absolutly fantastic job of cleaning-up our yard. Unless you knew they had been there youd never know they had done any work, they were that thorough at cleaning-up after themselves. I would definitly recommend them.

Had two trees pruned and trimmed to provide separation between them. The crew arrived at the time expected and completed their job in a very timely manner. Most importantly there was no trace what so ever they had been in our yard. Great job!

I have used save a tree for lawn maintenance, tree care, tree trimming etc. Karl is excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable about trees and all plants. When he comes I always have questions which he always takes the time to answer. I know he is very busy and I feel guilty holding him up but he is so nice to discuss my garden issues with I do wind up talking in length. he is in charge of the lawn maintenance guys as well as the crew cutting and trimming trees.All of his staff are courteous and seem to work well as a team. I had many trees trimmed a few days ago. There were 3 guys. They completed the job and did not leave any sign that trees were trimmed.All the debris was cleaned up. There was one guy who actually climbed the oak tree using a cord to saw the large limb because the crew tried things that did not work! You were amazing!.Karl your tree cree was amazing!I would give 6 stars if it were available! I highly recommend this company for all lawn and tree care. .Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

The service was excellent. My property had 5 large, dead trees that had to be removed. Also a lot of old maple trees that needed cabling. Mike and the other arborists at the company were informative, thorough and professional, it was a pleasure working with them!

Mike Frangione and his crew were great, we had 4 large ash trees that needed to come down, two that were close to the house with a large hose spigot at the base of one of the trees. The Savatree team was careful in dropping the trees, in sections with ropes, safely bringing all 4 trees down. They also trimmed two large maples, one that was overhanging the roof and did a great job. They were fast and finished the job in a few days, working through poor weather to get the job done. Highly recommend.

SavATree was very professional, responsive to our downed tree issue and were exceptionally diligent upon arriving. As soon as they arrived, they got right to work and in less than an hour, the tree was gone and everything was clean. Additionally, getting an estimate was very easy, booking the job took no time at all and next day the crew was here early and gone in an hour. Victoria McCarthy was our arborist on our first project with this company. Professional and responsive, answered our every question, came up with different proposals according to our financial situation. Their crew was polite and professional. Compared to some cheaper services I liked the way they think about safety; goggles, helmets, uniform, they had everything. I asked not to drive with machines on my lawn and they followed it. I like this company and will likely use their services again.

SavATree currently services my lawn and treats my flowerbeds. I could not ask for a better service and a professional and caring team. Their lawncare prices are very reasonable for what you are getting and they actually treat for the specific problems vs generalized treatment that other companies offer that never get rid of that darn tall thick blade weed. Michael Frangione is incredibly knowledgeable about plant healthcare and isnt there to make a sale! My lawn and flowerbeds have never looked better under Michael and SavATrees care!

Karl Hunter, ISA Certified Arborist with SavATree, inspected several trees for our homeowners association. He was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and open to answering all questions. He is honest about which trees are candidates for removal and which trees are still viable. He also provided advice about Insect treatment and prevention. Safety for the crews is a number one priority. He provided estimates in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Karl.

I have used SavATree since we moved into our home a few years ago and Ive been very happy with their service. We have a maple tree that has seen better days but they have been successful in helping to revive it and keep it going through pruning and various fertilizer and insect control treatments. I also have used them for general pruning, tree removal, and bracing of some of our trees. Ive found them to be responsive for both general service and emergency work and I will continue to use them in the future. I recommend them to anyone who needs tree work in the area.

Michael Franagione the licensed Arborist was great. First, I didnt think I needed to be here for the inspection, but later realized I had gotten a lot of knowledge from Michael about my trees. SavATree has been servicing my trees for many years, more than I can remember.

This company did large tree removal for me, and I was impressed with them from start to finish. Here are the reasons why: 1. They have a dedicated administrative back end answering customer phone calls, and assisting their licensed arborists with the administrative aspects of their contracted jobs. 2. They have licensed arborists who are knowledgeable and who project manage their quoted jobs in person and on site with the customer. 3. They have clean and well maintained equipment; no leaking oil from the bucket trucks, and no leaking hydraulic fluid from the brush chippers. 4. The field workers (tree climbers and helpers) were uniformed, respectful, and hard working; these guys were impressive. 5. The field workers did a great job with the clean up of my property after my large trees were removed; blowing and sweeping up. This companys model works well. Here is how it worked for me for this large tree removal job: 1. Call them and someone actually answers the phone. 2. Make appointment to meet licensed arborist for job quote. 3. Meet arborist at job site to review job. 4. Received quote from arborist via email same day. 5. Day of job arborist is on site with tree crew to review the job. 6. Tree crew does job and arborist follows up with customer upon job completion. This is a good company. I am pleased with their work and I will use them again and refer them to others that I know.

Extensive reduction and pruning of a massive English Yew, with removal of major vine entanglements; shaping of a Dogwood; shaping of a large Arborvitae. The work was done at the designated date and time and was carried out in completely satisfactory fashion: correct equipment was used; professional assessment and procedures required for job were the order of the day; exceptionally thorough clean-up at the conclusion of the work also occurred.

I was hesitant to use Sav-A-Tree because they are a larger company. Well I m glad I gave them a shot. Their Arborist, Matt, came over who was very personable, knowledgeable and explained the options for my stressed and diseased Japanese Maples. Matt kept in constant contact with me. When their crew came to do all the work, Matt was there too to make sure everything was done properly. Very satisfied!!!

Used Red Cedar to removed trees and shrubs and replace with new shrubs and mulch. Most shrubs have died within a year and I was charged for 4 yards of mulch for a small walkway. Crooks - do not use.

Matthew Camarota is the Arborist and main point of contact that I worked with to get this taken care of. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a clear, detailed estimate of the work that needed to be done. The communication throughout the whole process was to the point and informative, which left me feeling confident that he and his team would be able to do the job in a timely and professional manner. The work done was beyond my expectations! Matthews team left my yard looking immaculate; there wasnt a woodchip left behind! Matthew followed-up to make sure everything looked like I wanted it to and it absolutely did. Matthew Camarota and the SavATree team were professional at every level from start to finish. There is a big, crucial maple coming up through a designed opening in my deck. It was purposefully integrated into the house renovation that was completed in 1984 and, without it, my house would not only lose its character, I would be roasted within its shadeless interior every summer. I went into panic mode when it went into a sharp decline a few years ago, but SavATree pulled it back into health and have kept it that way ever since. Youd better believe Im grateful !

I hired Savatree to cut down 1 tree on my mother property and remove all wood on 4/18/16. I paid their roughly 50% upfront fee the same day as I received the contract to start the work. Everything seemed ok as they came and cut down the tree but then stacked the wood in the front yard as well as the neighbors front yard. Which the neighbor then freaked out as a ton of wood was piled in front of their house. I called them to let them know and was told they will pick it up on a certain day then never showed then I called again and etc until some of the wood was pickup up. Then I called again and again only to get planned dates then excuses and surprised responses about crews not showing up. I have called the main office to also tell them about the work not being completed and also they have been sending me bills that the job is completed ever since the tree was taken down in April. I am completely frustrated with the poor communication and service from this company. I received lower quotes from other competitors and decided to pay more for a major named company expecting good service. I did not plan on having a cut up tree litter the front yard for 4 months and having to chase the company to complete the job.
