Avalanche Tree and Landscaping LLC in New Haven

I contacted Angi to found a someone cut my trees, so Greg call me to see the job and give me price. He came and checked the job site and he said will do it for $2900 for cut two trees and not responsible for wood removal. I told him will call you when i see the other company prices. After talking to 3 different companies they all was the same price so i called him to see if he can remove the wood with the same cost and he said will take the wood with $100 extra so the total will be $3000. I accept the price and he said will start next week. His crew came and started cutting so I went to work. An hour later he called me and said we have problem , I said what s wrong and he said I can t finish this job with this price because it s too much wood so if you want me to take the wood will be $5000 total or I leave. I don t know what to say it s not $100 or $200 extra it s $2000 more than what we agreed on. So I said leave and he left.

Very satisfied with the service. Greg came out on the last day to make sure we were satisfied with the job. He was a pleasure to work with.

I had a very disappointing experience with Avalanche Tree and Landscaping LLC. I scheduled aeration and seeding for my lawn on October 13th. When they didnt show up, I reached out and was told by Greg S. that they would come the next day. I made sure to be available all day on October 14th, but they never arrived, and there was no communication or update from them. This lack of professionalism and poor communication reflects poorly on their reliability and respect for customers time. I had hoped to discuss ongoing services, but after this experience, I wont be using their services. I cannot recommend a company that doesnt follow through on commitments.

this is the first time I had work done by the 4 workers who cut my lawn on Saturday. I couldnt be happier. The job was done quickly and it looks beautiful. I am sorry I cant remember their names but we hired them on the spot( the name snack comes to mind) I am so glad I found them. I am looking forward to seeing them every week. I would recommend Avalanche to anyone who needed lawn service. These workers were the best I have ever had and I have been through a few. Again, great job done!!!

Gregg came over the same day I called, took videos of the trees and gave me a good price right then and there. I will use Avalanche again when needed.

The job was assessed twice by professionals from the company, and they explained thoroughly the process they d use to remove trees from the steep hillside. On the date of the tree removal, the work was completed in just half a day by a team of skilled professionals.

Avalanche Landscaping has a great team of qualified professionals who are a joy to work with! From scheduling, to working on-site and after the completion of their phase, their communication was excellent and consistent through the end of the project. These guys were pros. Watching them work together in unison was impressive.

They had to use my neighbors yard for access to the tree. So they were given permission. they took down the tree but never came back to fix the ruts in my neigbors yard! They also were very careless when dropping branches. One of the branches hit an antenna array on my tower and damaged the antenna. This is an $550 dollar antenna. never completed fixing to my satisfaction. Still bent. Sent an email to them asking them to fix these two issues. NO Email REPLY! Never should have sent the final payment. My fault for that but now I have to hire someone to fix my neighbors yard! Dont hire them!!!!!

I learnt about Avalanche through the HomeAdvisor website -Angis list - and contacted them, and three other companies, requesting an estimate of some trees removal job. Greg answered immediately, came to look at the situation the same day and walked with me around the yard assessing the work to do. Before leaving and after a short time evaluating he gave me his estimate, which seemed to me appropriate for the considerable amount of work. Two days later he and his crew arrived as scheduled. They did an excellent, really impressive job. They were not only very professional but also friendly, considerate and willing to give all sorts of explanations when I asked questions. The crew of four men, besides Greg, was really first-rate, efficient, very knowledgeable when they were consulted about issues involving some of the trees and very personable. When the job was finished they left the yard in great shape. I will certainly be happy to call them in the future and to recommend Avalanche to friends and neighbors.

Greg and his team did a great job taking down my trees and cleaning up afterwards. Looking forward to our next project in a couple of weeks.

Avalanche is a very professional company that I highly recommend for all tree and landscaping services. Theyre the only company I use, as well as many other big companies I know in the local area. This company is well organized and I love the way they do business! They definitely get the job done sufficiently and the workers are very polite/well mannered.
