Overpriced and bad landscaping. We were impressed with his website and his knowledge when he came out so we hired him for a LOT of money - then he seemed to leave it to his crew to do the rest on their own. They cut years of growth off our Crepe Myrtle even after we told him not to (we wanted the shade over our patio). He apologized but when were paying that much I shouldnt have to deal with a landscaper scalping my Crepe. Then he double charged us for weeding because his guys had to come back a second time (not my fault they had to come back). I wont go into all the things that were issues but there were many and he was rude when we reached out to him. Im very happy for all the 5 star customers since they got what they paid for. My advice to you if youre looking at these reviews and want to go through with it with James Miller is to get everything in writing and treat it like an actual contract where he is forced to do what he told you he would do when you describe what you want done. Dont do just a handshake, Buyer beware!

Couldnt be happier with my new backyard! The Texas Black rocks flow perfectly with the Austin River rocks, along with the drip system around the plants, and the fresh green Zoysia grass. Thank you so much!

70 dollars a cut which is expensive compare to the other companies I inquired about in the area. Other companies estimate was between 40-50 dollars a cut.

His crew is absolutely professional and courteous total professionals. I mean if you are in need of landscaping this is who u want! Over the last 18 months James and his crew have cleared and sodded our backyard, landscaped our front beds, put down anti-weed fabric and added rock and mulch. He also mows our lawn during the season. We re very happy with what he s done. He s very fair in his pricing and does what he promises. He and the guys working for him have always been personable and respectful. Highly recommend.

I have used James Miller Landscaping service for 3 years. Along with regularly scheduled lawn mowing and weed eating, in the summer, I needed delivery and application of compost and grass pallets.which went without a hitch.. In the late fall I hired James for work that included clearing out some brush and cutting down trees, and relocating a large area of decorative rocks. These required intensive work, and heavy equipment. James has consistently performed well.. I have always been pleased with the lawn and landscaping work, the reasonable price, his experience and attention to detail in my requests. James is easy to reach, responds quickly, and gives quotes up front without any hidden costs and the service requested is timely and stays on schedule. James hires local, offering employment to people not afraid of hard work and decent pay. James has always provided a good reliable service and I would recommend him highly.

This is our first season with James since our previous service disappeared. We noticed his company was doing other lawns in Havenwood so we signed him up to do our lawn. James has done a great job bi-weekly cutting and trimming at a reasonable price. He offers a number of other services as well. So far we are very pleased.

James Miller went above and beyond to make the dream vision of our backyard a reality. I was a little rough on him at the beginning because we had been disappointed by so many other contractors and landscapers before and wanted to make sure he was up to task before engaging him. He came through brilliantly, was easy to communicate with, and had our yard done very quickly! Be sure to ask him for a custom planter box like he did for us! Its amazing and worth every penny! Originally, I had James come out to replace my front flower bed. He put in River rock and lime stone rock around the edges and it looks amazing. Then I asked if he would be interested in possibly doing some landscaping in my backyard. He came out and took a look at my patio, came up with an idea and was out here within two weeks. My backyard looks amazing. He did a wonderful job, and he got the job done quickly. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!

James Miller Landscaping have repeated done a very good job in every thing we have asked him to do. He checks on our property and comes whenever we need trimming, lawn mowing, flower bed rocking and hauling off. We are always pleased with their work and find them consistantly honest and fast and very reasonable. We recomend them.

James and his team are great. Prices are reasonable. This spring he redid our backyard. Sod cutting, top soil, platting grass, he landscaped our playground area and grill area. It came out great. Anytime we need him he is there. He is personable and has great humor. He will be with us for the long term.
