This company has been headache after headache. They installed dead landscaping, sod, and have been unresponsive coming to fix it. Have had to pay out of pocket myself. Be wary working with them.

I wanted to make sure that I put in a review for the professional and courteous service I received from Jose today. I have been in my home for about 2 years and I have received awesome customer service from the Green Acres Landscaping team. Juan explained what the issue I was experiencing was about, redirected sprinkler heads and ensured system was not leaking and was in good working condition. Thanks for the awesome service. Michelle

Recently bought a new home which came with Green Acres irrigation. After 3 months my system stopped working, when I call they tell me a lightning strike caused this and it's not covered by warranty due to being a natural phenomenon, but I'm pretty sure if it was grounded properly couldn't have prevented the problem?

I believe Green Acres employees have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. After purchasing our new home, I had a few questions about our irrigation system and noticed the sprinklers were going off at incorrect times. After 5 calls and messages with the receptionist, I finally sent an email with our builder copied on the email and heard back from Green Acres. They came to fix the system and it seemed to work for awhile, but would revert back to going off at sporadic times. I felt like there was an error with the controller because it was so random. I had them come look at the system again, and Patrick reset the watering times and assured me that “In 19 years of installing systems, he has never has a controller go bad.” A few weeks later an error appeared on my controller and Patrick came to look at it with my builder. I talked to the builder and he told me there was an error with the controller and to call Patrick and set up a time to get it replaced. When I called, using the number I was given, Patrick was very short with me and was angry that his cell number was given out. He offered no sense of apology for telling me I was wrong when I suggested the controller might be bad and he said I needed to call the sales office before abruptly hanging up. After all my negative interactions with Green Acres, I decided to install a new controller on my own. I would HIGHLY recommend AVOIDING this company if you want to work with a company who will treat you as a valued customer.

So far this company has been a joke. We bought a home through Meritage and this was the 'landscaping company'. Hardly. These people seem to be a back door, low budget operation. The folks have been incredibly rude thus far through the process and were offended when I didn't want sod laid that was cut a week prior. These folks do not even have a place you can go and check out any trees or plants, they just put in what they can get on sale. Was interested in crate mertyle trees (wanted red) but they wanted to charge 120$ more for red over purple, because an employee would have to pick them up (mind you it is the same town they were located) They just did not want to make the effort ... really it has just gotten ridiculous. I could maybe handle the lack of professionalism if they were not so rude and unhelpful. It is unfortunate you can only get what they can find clearanced out. 1/2 the lawns in the neighborhood are dead and/or dying. We will see, as they haven't even made it to put the lawn in yet. I suppose I will update after the job is done, however I am not holding my breath.
