Reed Landscape LLC in New Bern

I approached Reed Landscape Irrigation, LLC in early 2020 with an idea to build “something” in my back yard that would allow me to enjoy all of the eastern North Carolina seasons. This something ended up being a stacked-stone gas fireplace set on a large circular brick patio that incorporates a seating wall, a beautiful brick pathway that winds through the yard and to the front of the house, raised beds, and additional trees. It's not just the beauty of the finished product, but the sense of security that comes with hiring Reed Landscape. The extensive drainage that was installed beneath the patio allows rainwater to leave the patio quickly even after the heaviest of downpours; there are anchors installed in the patio brickwork that provide tie-downs during high winds; the brick masons hired for the fireplace were masters of their craft. The Reed team itself was professional, creative and highly skilled. They answered all of my questions and often made suggestions that enhanced the beauty of the project. I wholeheartedly endorse Reed Landscape for projects of any scope.

When we were building our home in Carolina Colours, Reed Landscape designed and created a landscape and hardscape plan that was perfect for us. We were pleased with their plan then and continue to be today. They do excellent work and stand behind it. For example, when a large oak tree they planted failed to thrive, they replaced it with one that could have been it’s twin, no questions asked.

We have used Reed landscaping from the initial landscaping of our home in 2020 until now. They have been a pleasure to work with and always have been very professional, responsive, and reasonable relative to our request for service.

Reed Landscaping has done all my landscaping work, fixed drainage problems, and worked on my irrigation system. They have always done a wonderful job in getting the shrubs I want. When they complete the work everything is left in neat condition and they always fill in my mulch.

As a contractor in New Bern NC now for several years, we have used Reed Landscape the entire time. Even with clients who want to see other options, they have chosen Reed Landscape over the rest. We have used them for grading, french drainage, landscaping and hardware installations. All of our customers have been beyond happy with Reed Landscape. John and his team understood what we were trying to accomplish and it took very little of my time to get the outcome I was looking for. They are always responsive by text or phone. They are good about offering alternatives that will improve the plan or might save some money. I highly recommend John and his team.

We have used Reed Landscape on multiple projects. The biggest by far was the design and installation of a patio, patio wall and wall around our beach on a lake. The work was done professionally and thoroughly. We love the "look" and receive many flattering comments from guests. We plan to use them again.

In October, 2021, I requested your services in repairing a damaged French drain. I was pleased that you accepted, promising to complete the repair in November, 2021. In spite of numerous promises to complete the job, and your having utilities come to mark line, twice, you never showed to complete the job. Your promises are empty and irresponsible. Allstar Landscaping completed the repair within one week of the request. I highly recommend them for any landscaping project. Although the work you perform is good, your work ethic and respect for completing projects in this case is unprofessional and obviously uncaring.
