Est. in 2003 by New Bern fire fighter Trent Jarman, ACL creates and maintains outdoor space for residential estates and commercial properties throughout New Bern and surrounding Eastern NC. Now co-owned and operated with his cousin Carlton Tyndall, ACL has become the areas premier Landscape Contractor. The family run business has become the largest in the area and aims to continue to create more opportunity for its team to grow. Awesome experience, and fair price. Estimator was super professional and very knowledgeable of the correct plant types for the look we were after. Installation crew was fast, professional and clean. Completely revitalized the look of our front beds. More work planned in backyard over the next few years, and we are definitely using Atlantic Coast for all of our future projects.
Atlantic Coast Landscape has now taken 2 properties of ours, and brought them both back to life. Our historic home landscape was demolished and an “English Garden” created, complete with trees, plants and water feature. Carlton and Sam are a wealth of knowledge, and have a real vision for what a yard may become. Our current yard, adjacent to a golf course, was neglected for years…Atlantic Coast cleaned up, trimmed, shaped and made this landscape happy again (as well as the owner!). Cannot say enough good things about ACL!!

Bob and his team are excellent at their job and have amazing service. 100% would recommend. They helped “reset” our yard after we moved into a house with tenants that did not take care of the yard. We were thoroughly impressed with how quickly and beautifully they did our yard! Great prices and even better people!! Definitely recommend!!!
I recently had a flower bed filled with river rock by these folks, and I'm very impressed by the level of attention to detail and artistic form. The work really stands out as a job done by professionals devoted to creating something and not just chucking some rocks in a hole. I don't quite know how to describe it, but there's almost a flow to the layout as if the river was still there. Shout out to Sam for organizing the project, as well as Chris and the team for the execution. Good job all around, guys.
Atlantic Coast Landscape has been cutting my lawn for about a year now and I've always been happy with that service. I had some old dead bushes in the front, and down the side of my house that desperately needed attention and when I asked Atlantic Coast if they took on that kind of project, they said that they did! I really wish I had thought to take some before pictures of my flower beds and of the bushes I had removed. I am very happy with the outcome. It looks like a brand new house driving up to it. My flower beds along the front look very clean and are very much a fresh canvas for something new. (don't mind the leaves on my deck in the last two pictures - those are from me not sweeping!) Now I'm not a yard/gardening person. This sounded like a huge project to me. We originally scheduled for mid-April, but they emailed me asking if I wanted it done earlier (in the next couple days) because they happened to be ahead of schedule at the time. Project was finished within a day. I'm pretty flexible so either date would have worked for me, but I love looking at my nice clean flower beds instead of the dead bushes that were there before. They were also very nice about the price quote appointment. I work from home, but just in case things got busy I had my mom there that day as well who knew overall what I wanted done in case I couldn't step away from the computer (which of course if what ended up happening haha) and she commented as well about how nice and professional they were. I highly reccommend them and if my yard is in need of anything else, am definitely going to use Atlantic Coast. :)
From concept through completion, Atlantic Coast did a fantastic job transforming our hum drum back yard into a visually exciting yet peaceful place to spend time. We continue to work with them to add more interesting features and plantings. They also expertly addressed drainage issues and landscape lighting. We are also on their monthly maintenance program which has been effective and reasonably priced.
Working with Atlantic Coast has been a pleasure, specifically with Matt and Samuel. Their communication and attention to detail is exactly what we ve been looking for.

I highly recommend the staff and management at Atlantic Coast Landscape! They are meticulous and truly go above and beyond. I especially want to write a review for Luis M., who, while being an excellent landscaper, stopped his work to help me also save three baby duckings that got stuck in the pool! It was quite a feat as those little ones did NOT want to get caught by the pool net, but he did not give up. Thanks to him, there are some gorgeous flower beds and a reunited family of ducks. I cant thank him enough for his professionalism and kindness. I also want to give a big shout out to the management and owner of this business. They are truly customer service oriented and have an integrity that is hard to find these days. I am beyond grateful. If you are in the New Bern area, this should be your first choice in landscaping.

Atlantic Coast Landscape installed seven new evergreens in our backyard. Everything went smoothly from initial talks, to design, and through to install. Sam was prompt and professional in answering my questions and setting us up. We already use Atlantic Coast Landscape for our bed maintenance (awesome communication and service!) and look forward to our continued relationship.
Just purchased house that needed landscaping and mowing. They were great to work with and completed the work within the estimate provided. Staff was professional and friendly. Worked extremely hard to finish work and went over to complete.
Atlantic Coast installed a yard drainage solution for my yard to fix problems from the developer. They responded quickly to my request for a quote, offered recommendations for a solution and provided me the quote quickly. The quote was in line with other landscapers in the area but Atlantics responsiveness was much better than the others. They put me on the schedule and performed the work when they would. The manager returned after the workers had completed to make sure I was satisfied and that the job was completed correctly. He fixed a couple very small issues. Overall, very pleasant experience.
Atlantic Coast Landscaping just completed four small landscaping projects for me and I highly recommend them. I am not a full time customer and had called ACL to ask if they would be willing to complete some small projects for me that were proving to be too much for me to handle. They sent a landscape manager to my home where I explained what I would like for them to accomplish. He was very patient and personable. That evening he emailed a proposal for the four projects. Very prompt! The crews performing the projects were very workmanlike, cleaned up after each visit, treated my property very respectfully, and accomplished exactly what I wanted. Each time they made sure I was happy with their work before leaving my house. Great company to work with.
What more can you say, about a landscape company that can do everything. My wife and i can not thank the people enough for what they have done. We talked to them from 800 miles away. We are delighted beyond words at the job done. The quality and service has been excellent. We had dormant sod installed in an area where we had taken out 17 trees and left us with a sand pit. They put sod in that is dormant at present but we loved the results and it is not even green yet. The crew were very professional and completely cleaned up, you would not even know they were here except for the professional job they had done. We look forward to using them many times in the future.
Great company to work with for residential work. They came out to our house, listened to what we were looking to do, took some pics and came back in a couple of days and presented the plan. It was just what we wanted. Looking forward to the work being done now.

Professional and knowledgeable staff
I have used Atlantic coast landscaping for the past 12 months in New Bern, North Carolina as a yard service. The people who did my lawn every other week were terrific. My problem is with the company itself. They raised my yearly lawn service by $120. When I asked if everybody else the neighborhood was going up as well I was told no its only me. When I asked why they said my yard took longer than my neighbors. That doesnt make sense to me. The people next-door to me have a larger yard and more things in the yard and their price didnt go up. I feel like for some reason this company was not being honest with me. Last fall I had approximately $5000 of landscaping done by Atlantic. The guy I dealt with that designed my yard was terrific actually I only want to spend around $2500 but he up-sold me. I was very happy with the results. Neighbors kept stopping by and people I didnt even know stopped their cars to ask if they could look around. Again the problem was with the company, one tree a Crape Myrtle didnt survive the winter. It cost about $80 and they would not replace it. But somehow there was confusion and the Landscaper accidentally ordered me a new one and put it in my backyard. So when I came home from work I called him and thanked him for replacing the tree that had died. Less than a week later that tree too was dying it obviously wasnt the right place to be putting a Crape Myrtle. The next day I got a bill for about 80 $85 for what was now a dead tree. I called the company and told them I would not be paying... So I think they were punishing me by raising my lawn service fee in retaliation for not paying for dead tree. I find this company very expensive. They do nice work but they do not stand behind their work!

Great experience from beginning to end. Polite and nice crew. The work was done in a day and after a month the sod blended perfectly with our existing lawn (it was a lot of piecing). I will use Atlantic Coast Landscaping again and I recommend them without hesitation.
All I can say is that they are great. We are very pleased with their work. We are still being contacted after 2 months to check on our new plants, if we are happy and anything else we need. The really go above and beyond.
Atlantic Coast Landscape has been my go-to for the apartment complex I manage for lawn maintenance, landscaping, fix-its, dig-it-ups, ideas on making it look and grow better and anything else they could assist me with for three (3) years. They have always been professional, timely, courteous and helpful. If I ever have any questions or concerns, management addresses it immediately. My residents are very happy and I receive compliments weekly on the property. I know that management takes customer satisfaction very seriously and strives to make sure the crews do as well. I am thrilled that we hired them and I do not ever want to work with anyone else.
