Trees On The Move in New Berlin

4.5/5.0 stars! We contracted Trees on the Move to re-landscape, re-grade, and create new hardscape for our entire yard. They were very quick to quote the job and started right away in the Spring of 2024. The job moved along very quickly and it was great to watch the crew working very hard every day to transform our yard into our own personal retreat. The concrete crew (Next Level Concrete) did great work, especially given the challenging lot layout. Ben and Derreck were very helpful along the way to discuss and solve problems that popped up during the 4 months they were on site. We get lots of compliments on the extensive, impressive paver work from our friends, and we love the look and shape of the paver areas and walkways, sitting wall, and large stoops they created for us. Ben and Derreck helped us to solve some issues we had after install was done, and are standing behind their work. We look forward to the continued cooperation. Thanks for creating our forever retreat!

After shopping around for a center piece tree for my front yard, i figured I would give them a try. I was introduced to Matt. He was very knowledgeable and informative. At first, I was looking at the autumn blaze maples. After looking at their invantory, I actually landed on a brandywine red maple. He was very patient with me and let me know when the trees were in full fall colors to take a look at them. Being close to them, I stopped in a few times. I never felt pressured into buying but educated. (Even though was only purchasing one tree) They have the best support, pricing and warranty hands down. Thanks alot Matt and trees on the move!!

Trees On The Move installed 40 trees for us at Senor Luna last year. Then we had the crazy winter of 2024 (the ice storm that ruined or killed many trees). Daniel, the sales rep, has been checking on the progress of of trees monthly. He called me!!! to tell me we lost one tree and will replace it. Amazing!!! Daniel truly cares about trees and costumer satisfaction! Since the price was great, I thought the service would not be - I was wrong!! Great price, great follow up service!! We had a major (and expensive) landscape project completed years ago. Its held up OK, not great, but OK. A few years ago, we spent $500 for a more mature tree. A few years later and that tree has never fully taken root. Weve watered it, weve mulched the area etc. I decided to call and see if we could possibly have someone look at it or even see if the company might consider replacing it--did I mention we paid $500 for a young tree? I received roadblocks such as do you water it? Do you mulch? Did you read the care instructions? Its a $500 tree. Yes, weve watered it and mulched. Do I have the care instructions 3 years later? No. I could understand if this was a $50 shrub. The reason we spent $500 for a younger but more mature tree is because we were assured it should take off without much of an issue. I could get this tree as a younger and less mature stage, much cheaper and just plant it myself-which I will probably do. Instead of arguing with the guy, I just let it be. He didnt seem to catch my anger, and it really didnt seem to dawn on him that I would likely never be a customer again. With the big landscaping project we once did, this tree incident, and a few other smaller purchases, I would say we were semi-regular customers. Well probably be in this house another 8-10 years, but the amount we will spend there is likely to be $0 going forward.

Called about truck 149 lost a wheel barrel and I almost ran it over. I tried to talk to the receptionist which absolutely would not talk to me until I turned around and went and got a truck number off of the vehicle. I told her that there s a way of figuring out which vehicle it was by GPS and she was absolutely unhelpful. Now I know why This company has such a low rating. These people should definitely take precaution to tie down their equipment especially when they re getting paid by the hour there should be no room for error. This is absolutely avoidable. Slow down check twice be safe

Delivered and planted a 35 maple for us. Beautiful tree and excellent service! Also carefully walked us thru care instructions. Back a year later for their fertilizer and someone actually hung around after closing to wait for me. Weve been impressed and love the tree!

Went to Trees on the Move to buy a tree to replace one that was damaged in snow storm. Met with sales rep. Matt Handelman. He is a very knowledgeable person with all the aspects of trees. He took us through the various groups of trees and helped select a Japanese Lilac tree. We had Trees on the Move place a number of trees on or property when we were building our house 30 years ago and have come back as we were very pleased then and very pleased now. Check them out if you are in need of any trees.

Trees on the move greatly exceeded my expectations. They arrived promptly when they said they would for the install. Theo and Oscar were professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. When they left, you didn t even know they were there after a perfect cleanup. All trees I have purchased from them are beautiful and thriving. You can t go wrong with using Trees On The Move.

We are looking forward to our tree planting project this year. This is the 3rd time weve worked with Trees on the Move. We have 2 gorgeous Autum Blaze Maples from 2010. We added 2 more maples and a blue spruce in 2012. This will be our largest project to date with 3 maples and 9 Norway Spruce. Working and planning with Daniel S. and Matt has been an enjoyable experience. Daniel is knowledgeable and polite, listens to our ideas and helps us plan accordingly. We are very happy with the service and quality of the trees, which is what keeps us returning.

Great first time experience with Trees on the Move installing six 5 trees on our property. I would absolutely contact them again for future business and recommend them to family and friends.

Absolutely avoid! Customer service is pathetic and not professional at all! Picked out a tree, went to the conference room to finalize. When asked for the address, Daniel slammed the paperwork down and said we re done! We don t service your area. Completely unapologetic and irrational behavior for someone in customer service. I called ahead of time and verified before driving an hour to the place. Trees on the Move talks a good game on the radio but does not meet expectations or customer service at the basic level of salesmanship. A hundred ways he could have handled this but Daniel chose to flip out and not work with us in any way. Lost a sale and customer for life! Avoid this business unless you like over paying, two other nurseries were hundreds cheaper for the exact same tree.

We had pavers & landscaping done by Trees on the Move a few years ago. Excellent job, finished faster than expected, great work & workers. Very happy with the job. So satisfied that we decided to do another smaller area last year. Signed contract in February 2022. Told it d be a bit, no hurry, so we were fine. Summer came & I asked if it would be done by August & was told oh no not that long, it ll be finished before that. August came & went. September-gone. No work no notice of when. Vacation in October & I asked if it would be done by the time we left. Several people assured me it would. The weekend prior to us going (rain coming then also lol) i suddenly get a call saying they will be there & get done in 2 days. I declined the dates due to the lack of notice & our plans for that time. Asked to just wait til 2023. Here we are & they called & came to begin job 4/19/23. Great. Project manager states it s a small job which will be completed in few days. It s been dragging out ever since. I have had to call multiple times to find out what /when anything is happening. Never come when they tell me. Very unprofessional. I expected so much more after our first experience. All I ve gotten with this is excuses. Waiting to see how long til it s completed. This job is about 1/3 size as first that was done in about a week. Sad. Very sad.

We are so pleased with the service and expertise provided to us by Daniel S from Trees on the Move. From the very start of the process of him understanding our needs and explaining step by step exactly what we needed to do and keeping us posted of when everything was going to take place. We choose a mature tree for our front yard. It s a little leaf linden. The equipment they used to dig the hole as well as plant the tree was impressive. The sales staff was professional and responsive.

Trees on the Move planted a beautiful tree in my yard despite a difficult incline. Others said it couldn t be done due to the incline but Dan was extremely helpful and got the job done.

My family visited Trees on the Move on Mothers Day to replace a tree that died in our yard. We had a type of tree in mind when we visited but he also showed us a few similar trees that we are considering for our next purchase. The process to purchase our Spring Snow Crab was quick and easy. Now we just wait for delivery and install. As a side note, Daniel was the only person working the yard at the time and did excuse himself to go greet another customer and came right back. I thought this was very professional just acknowledging the other customers.

Trees on the move did all the landscaping at my commercial property. 15 total bushes died and 2 large trees that were placed in the center medians in the parking lot. The trees were planted in late May of 2021 and less than year later they clearly were dead. They were contacted about the trees that were dead, but no one got back to me for weeks. After Derrek finally got back to me I explained the issue and he said the one year warranty was already up....which it wasnt based on the timeline of them putting it in and how the trees never blossomed which you would never know until the full season happened. I expressed my concerns and Derrek started laughing...Not only did the company do a total chop job installing the grass, bushes and trees, they are completely unprofessional! Specifically Derrek. I would never use this company for anything.

Worst experience ever. Once they have your money they dont care about you or planting your trees. Worst mistake I made this year was doing business with this company. I wish I would have read the numerous negative reviews before trusting them to follow through. Plan on submitting a BBB complaint.

Ordered trees on 5/8/22, Mothers day, was told we would get our trees in 4-6 weeks, with that 2 week range accounting for weather. About 4 weeks go by and we check on the status and the salesman Dan told us 2-3 more weeks. Another 2 weeks goes by, we call again, Dan says it will be another 2-3 weeks. Just before the deadline in our contract (7/8) I call again, and Dan rudely tells me it will be another 2 weeks, maybe, he cant guarantee anything. Blames it on a very wet June. Actually, we had less than average rain fall in our area. Every time we talked to him he acted like we were bothering him, wasting his time. I asked if we could just get our money back since we were past the deadline stated in our contract, and Dan said no. Had to talk to the owners wife to finally get our money back. Glad we did, as I would not want to continue to do business with them. They have absolutely no customer service skills and treat smaller orders like you dont matter.

We are extremely happy with our new trees (planted to form a natural fence )! It was a pleasure working with Daniel! We had good communication via text and he was prompt & professional in answering all of my questions. Oscar and Teo, who installed the trees, we re very professional, knowledgeable, and worked with diligence. They did an excellent job! All of our trees are healthy and look like they ve been well cared for before being planted. I m very satisfied & highly recommend Trees On The Move!

We worked with Daniel who was very professional. WHe kept us well ifirmed in the timing of our project. We selected and received healthy arborvitae s. They educated us on how to care for the trees from day one through year two. The installers were very professional and placed the trees exactly the way we asked. Great team!

Beautiful property with a variety of trees. Had a great experience driving around pickup out trees. Purchased three trees installed in July 2021. One of them died and was replaced under warranty. Great company that takes care of its customers.

They were late on the delivery. They have listed on the paperwork they deliver the trees in the order which they were purchased. I find that hard to believe. I had to call the office manager to finally get my trees. When they delivered them the employees were very efficient and considerate.

My father wanted to plant a tree in his memory so his family could think of him as they enjoyed the shade that it provided. He was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and was about to start the fight of his life. He went to Trees on The Move and picked his tree, went to his house and picked a spot, and then looked forward to this lasting gift. A few days later he went to the hospital and was told his fight would be brief, the cancer was too tough and too aggressive. He was given a seven day time frame and returned home to relax. I conveyed this hardship to Daniel from TOTM. The company and the hardworking employees that worked there took the two month time frame for planting the tree down to two days. My father, his wife, children and grandchildren sat and watched the tree get put in immediately. Then they sat in its shade, told stories, laughed, cried, and loved. While it was a sad story it had a beautiful ending. Thanks to Trees on The Move this man whos body was failing, but spirit was strong was able to create and share everlasting memories and joy. Without their aggressive effort that moment would have never been made. After some time to reflect I realize while Trees are their business, people are their passion. For that and for their efforts myself and my whole family will be ever for this company. I hope that when they read this they realize they are much more than a company who moves trees. -The Langs

I used Trees on the Move in the past and had a great experience so decided to use them again. This time I purchased 2 Autumn Blaze Maple Trees from Daniel Schulze. He took time with me to pick out my two trees, gave me advice, and stayed in touch with me along the way (he did a couple of site surveys too). He also gave me advice about where to plant due to conditions with my yard. He was very responsive and thorough. My two maple trees are now planted, and the crew that came out was very careful and professional. They did a nice, clean, job and I am very satisfied with their work. I recommend Trees on the Move from start to finish, and like I said, working with Daniel was great. I would use them again.

I was so happy to find out that Trees on the Move had a concrete division. I was having a hard time finding someone to do smaller jobs. Matt and his crew came to my rescue. They replaced my front walkway and steps to the city sidewalk. Matt was quick to answer calls or texts and within 4 days of signing a contract , I had a crew at my house. They completed the job in one day and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Trees on the Moves Concrete division for all your concrete needs. I intend to use them again in the future.

Matt and his team poured a stamped concrete patio w border for usm the work was done on time and efficiently. The patio turned out beautiful, highly recommend.

I recently had TOTM install a concrete patio in my back yard. I could not be more pleased. Matt and his entire crew were punctual, courteous, friendly and extremely professional. Not,to mention that the actual work was perfect and absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend them.

They are the only landscapers that will plant huge trees for residential installation. Quality and value and HUGE trees!

We had our old sidewalks removed and new ones installed this past June. Matt and his guys did an awesome job all around. They were all really nice and my husband and I enjoyed chatting with them on our way to work. Matt is an absolute cement artist. He listened to what we wanted to see and made suggestions that he thought would look better. Thank goodness we took his advice because the sidewalks turned out gorgeous! Had we gone with our original plans I know we would not have been as happy with our sidewalks. When I came home and saw how the sidewalks transformed the look of our house/yard I wanted to cry I was so happy. He suggested the perfect color of cement and type of front and side stoops. Looking back, I probably wasnt the easiest customer because I changed my mind several times but Matt was always gracious to me. I highly recommend Trees on the Move Cement, you wont be sorry!

Disorganized Pre-Sales process. Met with Sales Rep Steve B. on April 27, 2020. I walked around the property to share the scope of work needed. Send survey the same day to Steve to save time designing proposals which he said would take about a couple weeks. Over the course of the next 5 weeks, called and texted Steve, and when we spoke a couple of times said he is working on it, but never wanted to commit to a date. On May 29, I called the office and spoke to the receptionist explaining my frustrations, and she only provided excuses and said they were very busy. Learned that at the moment they were actually having a company lunch and Steve was eating. I texted Steve right away. To this day still no reply. I am not sure if this inability to communicate with customers translates to the service or operations side or maybe just a reflection of Steve. I would ask more qualifying questions and double-check whatever the salespeople say with ops or service, for I have seen this before and feel like you cant trust salespeople. A dissatisfied prospect who will have to take business elsewhere!

After purchasing two trees last fall we had one of them that has died. Trees on the move had terrible follow up customer service we had to contact him multiple times to try and get them to warrantee the tree which ultimately was unsuccessful. I would highly not recommend them,

Outrageously expensive. They sell their trees for two-three times the price of other nurseries in the area.

We recently took down our shade tree and sorely missed it. We found a really nice replacement, got really good service and look forward to our new tree.

A guy named Steve came out this morning. He was really condescending and snarky. Tried to tell us we needed more services than we know to be true and threw out ridiculous numbers. We will not be using them for our landscaping.

We visited several nurseries to find trees for the yard around our new home. We ended up buying trees from Trees on the the Move, Action and Pialas. What to say.. TJ is too busy and doesnt have the personality to take care of customers. He drove us around the lot like it was a race track through puddles and ruts. We were hanging on while the mud swirled around us. We ended up buying two Serbian Spruce and a Maple tree that looked healthy and well cared for. We payed for the trees and planned on coming back 15 days later to pick them up. I called two days before we were to pick them up and they said they would have them dug up and ready to be placed on our trailer. Of course, they werent ready and the Maple looked like it hadnt seen water since we payed for it. We tried to call the office after we got home with the wilted Maple. They said you have to talk to TJ. We sent pictures to TJ but heard nothing back. Its planted now and we hope it makes it through the winter and looks better in the spring. Trees on the Move probably shouldnt sell retail and stick to a larger commercial base of business and TJ may be a good manager but customer service isnt his strong suit.

Was driving down I-94 on August 29, 2018 at 9am heading West towards Johnson Creek. The left hand lane was doing 62 mph, mile after mile after mile. MANY opportunities to merge right into the slow lane but never did. After driving behind this buffoon in his white box truck I looked at the door to see who the company was... Trees On The Move. And it isn t always poor customer service or screwing up a job that gets you low ratings.

A waste of time. The sales people must not know what they are talking about. I talked with a man at the Realtor Home and Garden show and he promised they could help me with my yard. Their Landscape Architect told me they cant help me. Also, dont bother leaving a voicemail, because they dont return calls.

We had an ash tree fall on our neighbors garage. John Carne the arborist came out first thing next morning to remove it so they could get to work on time. Jim Ackerman the tree sales man came and gave advise on what to replace the tree with. Awesome job. Highly recomended

Dont waste your time or money with this company. Bought a 4 trunk Whitespire Birch from them. On installation they left huge ruts in my front lawn, and within about 10 months, one of the trunks was not looking good. I called to get this rectified, only to be told, the trunk was probably suffering shock-still from the planting. Was told I should wait, it would pull through. Yeah, naturally, that trunk died-right after their crappy one year warranty was over. Fast forward 3 years, and the whole tree is dead. Stay away from these guys. Ive planted and cared for many trees from Steins, and they are all doing great. Their warranty is a hellava lot better too. Not to mention how much cheaper they are. Expensive lesson learned.

Extremely pleased! Trees on the Move replaced a long retaining wall, installed a paver path and firepit and put in some arborvitaes for a little privacy. Right from the beginning Gary M and Ziggy gave us a clear idea of what we were in for, helping us through the details with an experienced eye. When Gary H and the crew showed up, in came more valuable experience. I was amazed at how quickly things started changing. Gustavo and his team were extremely hard working, friendly, and considerate of our neighbors by cleaning up whatever construction mess was around before leaving for the day. During the project I made some additional requests (move an extra bush, dont repair grass here because Ill plant there) and the crew went above and beyond by prepping the future bed with grass killer and a generous layer of topsoil to grade the area properly. I was expecting to have to till and add the topsoil myself, so my back thanks you Gustavo! Ill happily recommend Trees on the Move in the future because theyre top of the line and I couldnt be more pleased with the job theyve done.

We just built a home, and quite arguably received the worst rough grade ever from our builder. Trees on the Move went above and beyond to make our yard beautiful. I cant begin to explain how much rock they had to remove, and how much top soil had to be brought in just to make the yard resemble something that could grow grass. Were now only 10 days post-seeding, and we saw grass poking through on day 6! The owner personally has stopped by twice to check trees, and the project manager came by the night after the work was complete to help us set up watering. Highly recommend!

Trees on the move did a nice job...tough to keep to schedules and weather. They did everything they said. You could hardly tell they did the work. Tree was down and gone...not a huge mess. Nice job guys.

This is our second review because we had Trees on the Move back this year to add a brick planter and trees around the patio they installed for us last year. Just like last time, Trees on the Move worked hard to bring our concept to reality - we based our design on a beer garden we enjoy. The landscape architect drew up a very nice plan, which we modified a couple times to fit our vision and budget. Throughout the process Gary was very helpful. The results are professional and beautiful. I cannot recommend Trees on the Move highly enough.

In 2016 I stopped in to get a quote on 13 large pine trees, installed. I was working with Pat, who took me to a field of pines where he handed me some marking tape, pointed to a row of trees and said, go ahead and pick your trees. Not quite the customer service I was expecting given the cost estimate; I decided not to get the trees. Fast forward to 2018, I purchased a tree installation via a local online auction sponsored by a local radio station. I stopped in and TJ took my information and said hed be in touch, since it was so wet outside they couldnt plant the tree. This was March so it made sense. Weeks went by with no word, I finally stopped back in and they had no record of me, finally after some back and forth they sent me out to mark my tree, very similar to the pines, with a new guy that didnt know his trees and some marking tape. Again, weeks went by with no word from TJ or anyone. It was now 5 months later and I finally ended up calling the auction company to request a refund, which the auction promptly processed. Id use the auction company again, but I would never give Trees on the Move a third chance, a very disappointing experience, on both occasions.

Terrible service. Made to feel like i wasnt a priority had to sign paperwork on patio because there was an important client inside..oh and trees died within a few weeks but was told they wont do anything about it. On my own basically.

Be sure to read the second paragraph. The president, Gary visited my home and listened to my concerns about drainage and privacy in my back yard. He offered various design solutions to address the problems and was very flexible with some late changes I requested. I was thoroughly impressed with the work crew. A project of stripping off grass, planting 10 trees, half a dozen shrubs and laying sod was completed in 2 days. I highly recommend Trees On The Move for their landscaping work. Dropping my rating from 5 stars to 3. I never had sod before and discussed this with Gary. I was unsure of whether i was watering too much or too little especially with the dry spell we had this summer. I called twice, even spoke with Gary personally one time, and asked if someone could stop by my house and let me know if i was watering the correct amount. No one ever stopped by. It would have taken just a couple minutes. I have the impression that after the sale customer service is not a priority,

Trees on the Move does excellent work!!

Trees on the Move installed our 400 sq ft paver patio. Gary, the company president, came to our house 3 times during the planning phases as they helped us turn our sketches into an actual functional patio. Their pricing was better than two other contractors we consulted, which allowed us to install a fire pit in addition to our patio. Their contract gave a date that our patio would be complete and they kept that time frame. They contoured and planted the landscape around the new patio very nicely to match the rest of the yard. We got more than we expected for the money, their service was great, and we love our new patio.

Trees on the Move provided amazing service to my family. We were moving a memorial tree to our new home, however, it did not prove to be an easy task. Gary, the owner of the company, along with his crew, problem-solved and came up with multiple plans to get this very important tree moved to our new home. They also took the time to make the areas look very nice when they were done. It means the world to my family that this very important tree from our previous home was able to join us as we move to our new home. Words cant express how much this means to us. Thanks to Gary and Trees on the Move for your amazing work and dedication.

My wife and I started working with Gary in the Fall of 2016 to replace some older trees that had died off. Gary worked with us to find the right trees and even made a couple of recommendations to enhance the landscaping in ways we had not thought of. We were hoping to get the 8 trees in before the ground froze but Mother Nature won. Therefore we had to wait until spring, which was also a challenging time to complete the work. With all the rain, they were not able to get trucks into the yard without ruining the lawn. Overall we are very satisfied and have received many positive compliments from the neighbors about the work that was done. The only thing we are not happy with is how the grass seed came in but that was due to the weather this spring and not the work Garys team did. I called Gary about the problem and he will be sending someone out to reseed the areas needed.

Called twice. Left voice mail! Not one return phone call. In need of many trees this fall and next spring. Our subdivision has many dead trees to replace.

Pat and his crew from Trees on the Move did an amazing job from start to finish. We received bids and designs from several companies and Pat s was beyond what we could have imagined making efficient use of our unusually sized space.The crew was hardworking, skilled, and efficient even on long, hot days. Pat came to the site often, gave us regular updates, and coordinated with subcontractors directly. The results are fantastic, would recommend to anyone. Thank you!

very poor customer service, went to the view trees 3 times, sales rep came to home. promised a quote several times. still no quote. I guess there too busy.

If I could give them a ZERO I would!!! DO NOT do business with them! Such a negative experience, extremely poor customer service. I called them several times throughout 4yrs to ask them to come out and look at the tree they planted. Not only did they never come out, but told us to keep fertilizing it, which we did. We recently had a certified arborist come out and look at the tree and it was explained to us that the way Trees on the Move pruned the tree flush with the trunk when it was young is more than likely causing the center of the tree to die. Hence the tree progressively getting worse throughout the years. In addition they did an extremely poor planting job (its slanted), which trees on the move just tied a rope to a pole per their workers to make it grow straight. We purchased ONE tree from them and it is the ONLY tree that is not doing well in our yard, we have spent thousands on other trees and shrubs that had been purchased from other nurserys that are thriving, clearly it is not due to our negligence. When I called I was blown off and told that she (the owners wife) doesnt have time for this and since the tree has been in our possession for years that they are not responsible for it. Even after I explain that I have called them several times and was told to keep fertilizing it. I asked why she was not backing their product and she said because its been years and that they cannot warranty the tree for its entire life. The tree is less than 5yrs old. I would never expect a company to warranty a tree for its whole life, but a tree that is that young should be thriving at this point, not slowly dying. Do not do business with them unless you want to be given the run around so that your warranty runs out and are left with dead trees/shrubs.

We had a complete landscape done in August 2014. The yard was seeded and plants and trees were planted. My husband had to basically be the project manager. Everyone blamed each other for the mistakes that were made. Now almost 1 year later, we have many areas with no grass, dead plants and some trees that are questionable, if they will survive. I have contacted Trees on the Move many times, and no return calls. I would NOT recommend them!

Wow, I was just about to call them for the third time for the same job that they never followed through on. But after reading these reviews and having to call a third time I decided to pass. I had called twice in the fall of 2014, spoke to two diffferent people, got two different quotes to move a tree. They called diggers hotline, I called them after the area was marked by the utility company. Then I waited, waited and waited. Was just about to call them again, but if it takes three calls to get them to do work, never mind. Sounds like Gary needs to get his act together.

We drove out looking for a specific tree. They had about 9 of the type trees we wanted but they looked very unhealthy (in early June) - some were totally bare and looked dead - they had no leaves or buds. When we asked about it the lady who worked there was rude and gave us erroneous information saying that they were either dormant and that it was a bad year for a disease that the tree was susceptible to. We drove a few miles to Action Garden Center and found the same trees (although a little smaller than we wanted) - all perfectly healthy and just finishing blooming. We asked about disease and dormancy and she said that they wouldnt be dormant at this time of year and that it was a particularly disease-resistant type of tree. Im so glad that we didnt spend our money at Trees on the Move.

They dont pay their bills! Have been trying to collect from them since May with no luck. Sending them to collection soon.

UPDATE: Gary since seeing my review contacted us and will be replacing some of the trees for no charge in the spring and we will pay a small fee for the deciduous trees that arent doing well. While we are thankful for his follow-up, its unfortunate it had to come to this as this could have been resolved last summer.

If I could put 0 stars I would have. Gary has to be the most arrogant, BSer sales person weve ever experienced! I wouldnt spend a dime with them unless you are happy with lower than expected results, zero communication and not honoring what was discussed! We spent over $5,000 with them in November, 2012 with the understanding that 2012 was a bad year for trees and that these 18 trees/evergreens we bought should be fine BUT if they arent, they would be covered. Yeah, right!!! We started calling in March or April because we wanted to start another project that they were keen on quoting. Its December 8th and the amount of phone calls, complete lack of communication not only with us but with Gary and his employees has been a complete joke! And yes....as another reviewer wrote....they dont listen to what you want anyway! Gary completely dissed our deck that we designed and built by saying the improvements that we wanted to do for the landscaping didnt match the quality of the deck. Also, we like contemporary designs and that sorta thing isnt done in Wisconsin! Are you kidding me?!!! As a sales rep, if I EVER treated my customers like this, I wouldnt have any at all! We currently have about 6 trees that are dead.....Gary & Ziggy both have been out to our house on numerous occasions this year to look at the trees. And no, Gary (the owner) still hasnt put something in writing that he told my husband he would do 2 MONTHS AGO stating that WE would pay $125 per tree if they were still dead next spring. And why WE should have to pay anything is beyond me BUT we cant find the warranty information even though we had a verbal agreement with Gary. Gary is only concerned about his big commercial accounts like Harley, SC Johnson, Taco Bell etc. Theres always an excuse for everything from Gary. What a complete joke! Dont waste your time OR your money and if you do decide to do business with them after all of these 1 stars, get EVERYTHING in writing including the warranty and dont just believe his BS!
