Outdoor Solutions created our Outstanding Outdoors!!! We ve always spent a lot of time in our back yard - even in the winter months. We had aspirations of the features we wanted in our backyard. However, we had no idea of how to bring it all together. We met with Alfonso and shared our thoughts. He asked a lot of questions to assure he knew what we wanted and took photos. Within a week or so (it was January), he developed a spectacular design! We discussed options, plant choices and kept the design in our budget. Alfonso communicated with us every step along the way. He kept us posted as to the start date and what to expect next as each day progressed during the renovation. He and his team were pleasant while working at our home. Any and all concerns and issues, plant warranty items, etc. were addressed with professionalism. Alfonso stands behind his work! What was just our backyard has become our Oasis! 11-3-23 Yes, we can still do the wall this season! No show. 1-6-24 Im a bit short handed with labor this winter. I was wondering if it would be okay to wait until our season officially starts back up 3/1 for this project? No show. 2-25-24 We are on track for the week of 3/11 for this project if you are still interested No show. So, if you want your time wasted and your hopes dashed, go with this company.

They have been coming here and laying mulch every season for four years. Four to five people come and work 7~10 hours in one day. They work very hard all day with good attitude, very polite do quality work and clean up very good. We will definitely keep using them. Positive

The crew did an excellent job repairing our drainage erosion. The rock looks great and the crew even hand placed some of the rock to make it look aesthetically pleasing. We have had many compliments on the work!

I hired this crew to fix my drainage problem in the backyard. I also had a lot of debris in the yard (rocks, bricks, random concrete, etc.) that needed to be removed. There was not enough of a slope from the yard to the street to dig a French drain. The solution was to dig a dry well and fill it with river rock. They were supposed to, first, removed the debris from the yard and then regrade using the displaced soil from the well and then reseed the lawn. I MADE SURE that we were on the same page as far as removing the debris and such from the property. They assured me this would be done. Come to find out, they removed some of the larger debris but used a tiller to break up and mix in the rest of the debris with the soil. When I came home after the job was complete, all I could see was straw. So much straw that it looked as if they didnt want me to notice the poor job underneath. Then, I found my damaged wooden gate leading to the ally. There was a section that was completely broken off. He did advise me of this and told me that someone would be coming back to fix this. Someone did come back to fix the fence, but instead of putting up a new board, they took the board that was broken in half and screwed it back on. Because of this, the lock could not latch properly and both of my dogs escaped that night (luckily they were found and returned home). After this frustration, I decided to look under the straw because if putting the gate back together was this sloppy, what did the rest of the lawn look like?! I discovered that most of the debris were scattered throughout the yard. It was not hard to come across pieces of brick and gravel. Parts of the yard that were supposed to be graded and probably needed the most grading, were not even touched. The yard was so uneven and there were valleys and pits upon every step. They clearly did not use a roller or do any kind of leveling. I called them to complain firstly about the sloppy fence reconstruction and to secondly to tell them that I was not happy with the work on the yard. They sent someone out to take a look. When one of the guys came out to the property, he agreed that it was poorly done and they would fix it. I mentioned a certain spot in the yard that needed particular attention as far as grading and removing debris. I thought we were on the same page. They came back and replaced the board to the fence but left splintered pieces of wood in the yard. They used more fill dirt to try and fill in some of the spots however, the area that they focused the most on, was NOT the right spot that I had previously pointed out (this spot remained untouched). The yard looked slightly better and a bit more of the debris were removed but, still, there were a lot of brick and gravel everywhere and lots of pits and valleys. The owner of the company did not even reach out to if I was satisfied after they came back. He just sent over the invoice and slyly tried to add the cost of the extra fill dirt that they used when they came back to fix the job! Since then, I have been combing over the yard fixing it section by section. Removing debris on my own, leveling and evening things out and then planting seed. While doing this, I noticed there was a section of the fence that was leaning. Upon further inspection, the piece of wood that holds the boards upright had been completely broken in half. This is attributed to them putting the left over river rocks up against the fence in the ally. It seems that when they did this they broke the fence and did not even mention it! I am an extremely dissatisfied customer and wasted a ton of money on a very poor job that I now have to spend more money on to fix! Don t be fooled by the good reviews on here; I have since run across people in the area who have the same complaints about this business.

I have a back yard that is basically a terrace, and then 20 degree angled nightmare kudzu forest. Its not literally kudzu, but its some crazy ground cover that climbs up and kills trees. These folks tamed the beast, solved my erosion issues, and got rid of the poison ivy to boot. Old school, hard working, professional.

Manuel is the best. You will not regret using this company. Timely, communication , and superior work! He built a retaining wall for our driveway. I plan on using him for many more projects on our property.!!

I hired this company to do a full plant install on my new home. They removed my old plants, installed the new ones, and added new mulch to my entire home. The owner Alfonzo is very friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend them for any outdoor work.
