Did a great job of installing our new lawn. Fast, great quality, at a fair price!

We were amazed at how quickly and efficiently Jason and his crew worked. We discussed the progress with Jason during the project so we always knew what was taking place and what to expect. And they left our yard and roadside very clean. There was no need for us to follow up with anything. We ve already heard from neighbors saying for good it looks!!

The potting mix isnt great, didnt look anything like the picture on their site. The Mulch is highly composted. After quite a few years of ordering from earthscape, Ive had it, and Ill find a better vendor. ADDED 5/19 You sold me the product, its not what you represented and thats that. To your customers I would be cautious, the potting mix is not ready for use and could damage your young plants.

We had a dead Birch tree replaced with a Maple by Earthscape. They were great to work with and did an excellent job with the installation. Communication was very good throughout and the timeliness from quote to install was excellent. Earthscape exceeded our expectations throughout the process.

The crew at earthscapes did a great job on our landscaping! They arrived at 7:30 and worked steadily; they finished with our large area by 1:30. The curb appeal of our house went way up as a result of the designer, and the work by Jason s crew. We heartily recommend them.

We had Earthscape redo a poorly installed firepit/patio from a different company. The whole process went very smooth and all of the staff were great to work with. Will definitely contact for future work.

Earthscapes is small enough to return calls and get estimates to you within hours or a day but large enough to have a fine tuned professional team. They run an extremely efficient and are meticulous with their work. Their 3 d computer plans allows you to see exactly what your lawnscape plan and structure will look like. No paper plan but a computer drawn one that is realistic. Jason always responded to ?? and gave us new estimates when we made changes within a day. Colleen gave us invaluable advise on colors and size of patio and plants.. BEAUTIFUL yard, paver patio and pavillion! No headaches!!!!! We have an outdoor area that is exactly what we had hoped for.

I would not recommend using this service. The price is lower than others in the area, but one gets what ones pay for. I have found the customer service to be very poor. I have had issues and it has taken multiple calls and messages to get a response. The level of professionalism to be able to respond in a timely and prompt manner has been extremely disappointing. The quality of work was okay/average. It wasn t the greatest, but what should be expected based on the cost. One of the installed spaded trees died within 2 years and was not covered by their warranty. When I called about the issue, I continued to get the runaround about needing to leave messages for other people in the office and that they would get back to me (they never did). Overall quality of work is ok, but the lack of customer service and follow through would not have me recommending their service to others.

Jason does not communicate with you. I emailed him so many times and he never got back to me. He comes when he wants and will blame it on the rain or weather not in my case had many nice days. He is a nice person till you give him your money than it all changes. Don t have them do it I don t know how they ever got good reviews.

Jason is a decent guy; just not a great communicator. Im hoping my feedback can help the next Earthscape customer address these issues upfront, saving you some of the confusion we experienced. PROs: (1) Colleen did an impressive job creating a 3D landscape design. We outlined our requirements in an email, which she captured perfectly in her 1st draft design. Then during a live Zoom call to review the design, she listened intently to our feedback and incorporated that into the final design. I would give Colleen a 5-star rating. (2) Earthscape subcontracted the landscape irrigation to Wolverine. Wolverines quality of service was excellent in terms of proactive communication for scheduling and education in how to use the Rain Bird system. We would HIGHLY recommend Wolverine and give them 5 stars. (3) The sod and the maple tree in our front yard met our expectations. Looks beautiful! (4) The Earthscape crew is hardworking and the installation goes quickly when they are on site. They are professional and friendly. CONs: (1) Poor follow-thru and lack of proactive communication about the sequence of events and the schedule. You will end up doing the follow-up feeling like youre pulling teeth to get an answer. I get it, Jason is busy doing landscaping so hes not in the office at his computer. (2) Unclear which subcontractors we were supposed to arrange, and which ones Earthscape will arrange. (a) Found out last-minute that we were to have contacted our own electrician to provide wiring for the irrigation system. This cost is extra beyond Earthscapes quote. And because this was not proactively communicated to us, resulted in a delay to the overall schedule. (b) Was given a direct invoice by Wolverine whose costs were supposed to be covered in Earthscapes quote. (3) The 3D landscape design shows fully mature plants and coverage. What you actually get is a seedling or sprout that will take years to mature. As novice homeowners, we wished this expectation had been explained up front, or given the option to plant more mature plants. See 2 photos attached. (4) Other neighbors who had contracted different landscapers showed us diagrams and documentation they received about what plants were installed where and how to maintain them. We had not received anything like that, so we had to request it 3 times. Originally requested in July, after 2 more prompts, received it in late September.

Jason and his crew have done work for us for several years including planting ever greens and other trees. mulching, delivering landscape stone, leveling off dirt in the back and helping with our water fountain in the back. He/they are fast, friendly and efficient. The pricing is in line as well. We plan to count on Jason & crew to help us with more yard maintenance.

I want to thank Jason and Earthscape for following through with an issue we had and for their time and commitment to their end product.

The speed they got to and quality of work is amazing. They were there when they said they would be and I cannot believe the attention to detail. I recommend Jason and his team they did a great job on our new lawn.

Jason and Colleen were knowledgeable and easy to work with, chose native Wisconsin plants, and had good ideas for plant size and scale. Their crew did a fabulous job on our paver patio installation. Our landscaping is beautiful!

If you ve ever had a bad experience with contractors give Jason a call. I ve been screwed over so many times in the past but Earthscape went above and beyond. I expect a lot out of people but Jason and his crew met my expectations. Even if you find somebody a little cheaper don t think you re saving money. You ll spend more money fixing what other companies would fail to do.

The Earthscape team did an excellent job in removing existing patio and adding pavers. The also did a great job in replacing existing flagstone. Because of other planned changes that would be done to our patio area, Earthscape came in and removed our existing patio and prepared for the next step until they could come back and finish the job. Unfortunately, this would take approximately 3 weeks. They were very patient during this time and when we finally received the OK to finish the patio, the crew was back within a couple days. They worked during some of the hottest initial Summer weather we had! We were consulted occasionally if the team felt some particular change would be beneficial, allowing us to make some changes/improvements in the original plan. We are VERY pleased with the finished patio and would highly recommend Earthscape to those who wish to add or redo their patio. Kudos to Jason and his great team!

We retired and moved to Appleton to be closer to family. We bought a beautiful home, 7 yrs. old, in a lovely neighborhood, but any form of landscaping was absent. Terrible shrubs, no flowers and in need of a nice paved patio. One of my occupations was landscaping, but age, capabilities and time was not on our side. We spotted an ad from EARTHSCAPE in one of the local publications and thought wed give them a try. Having experience in this field made me very critical of any workmanship I would find. EARTHSCAPE is owned by Jason Ehrmentraut, he deals with you direct...and listens! Within a week he gave us a printout of the proposed project. I made a few adjustments, settled on a price, and it was a go! His crew is awesome...very polite, hard workers, kept us informed as to what they were doing, asking our opinion on some things, and kept everything as neat as possible as they progressed in the transformation. Our yard is now absolutely beautiful and we can hardly wait to entertain! They incorporated beautiful pavers and stone work, planted shrubs, flowers, and sodded bare areas of grass, and much more. So...were recommending EARTHSCAPE, you wont believe what it will do to the enhancement of your home!! Thank You, John and Merry Butler

Backyard hardscape just completed with 16 ft gravel firepit circle, flagstone path from deck out to firepit, edging pavers placed with new landscaping fabric and decorative rock put down. Replaced some ground breaker material on house foundation. Looks amazing!! The team of Matt and Mark were awesome. Great workers--very conscientious, knowledgeable, and caring about the final outcome of the project. All for an affordable price:) Definitely recommend this crew!

Had our entire landscaping redone in 3.5 days. The guys were so efficient and nice. Before starting they knocked on the neighbors door to inform them of the noise and possibility of damage to their grass from the tractors, but that they would plant seed and hay at the end of the job. I and our neighbors were so impressed by the politeness and quickness of this job. I have already recommended Jason and his team to a few of our friends. Everything looks amazing!

We are very pleased with the work and love our new landscaping that we had installed last fall. We had a huge project and were concerned with who could handle the size of the job. The designer came and walked through the job with us and provided us with colored images of how our landscaping would look. Jason the owner and Collen his designer was here working with the guys. The workers were very professional and left everything clean. We also had curbing installed which looks amazing. Awesome job!

Weve had great success with the trees we purchased from Jason, and hes been there for us with every question weve had regarding the care and treatment in keeping them healthy. We will definitely be getting more trees from them in the future.

Jason was absolutely awesome to work with, they did a great job on our lawn but there were a couple bare spots due to a big rain fall that came through shortly after everything was planted and I reached out to Jason to find out if repairing the wash out and filling in the spots was included in the work they did. His response was, We will be there to fix it hopefully by the end of the week. What great service they provide from a local company. Would recommend them to anyone!!

Jason and his crew sculpted a new yard for us and installed a fabulous fence. Always professional and accommodate adjustments as the project progresses. Crew works well together and are well spoken. Very helpful with advice on continuing care. They show up on time and work steadily till the job complete. Quick to return if there is a problem. Competitive prices. A contractor you can trust.

When my wife decided, after picking a lot of weeds, that we needed mulch ASAP and everything was closed, I was very happy to see that Earthscape had an online store with various mulch options. I was able to quickly pick out the mulch I wanted and how much I wanted delivered. I asked for next day delivery. The next morning, I opened up my door and the mulch was there and I was able to get right to work. Crisis averted!

Best local company to work with, Jason and his designer are great to work with. Highly recommend this company to all my friends.
