door to door solicitation does the opposite of getting customers.

Today had a Weedman solicitor in Robertson County, walk across my yard, (not up my driveway) past the no trespassing signs. He was told to get off. There are no laws that supersede no trespassing or soliciting signs on private property for a business, even with a so called permit. Seems this is an ongoing issue with this company. Also, past the Video surveillance signs to, so yes all caught on camera.

Once Shawn quit calling, everything went downhill. Seems like they don t know what they are doing. Over seeded on Monday and then got a note they would be out the next day for weed control while they said they needed to wait at least 29 days after over seeding. Not sure who is in charge but I feel like I am managing my own yard and telling Weed Man what to do and when.

Horrible service. Service tech didn t treat yard. Spent 5 minutes and left then confirmed by the service manager. My yard now looks worse and have spent almost $500 and my yard is worse. Multiple calls asking for brand manager to call me back. Still have not received a call and it has been a month. Don t waste your time and money. Find someone who takes care of their customers and actually wants to talk when they aren t trying to up-sale.

Had Weedman aerate my yard, the first attemt, the machine was too light to penetrate the grass & thatch. Weedman sent out a stand on (industrial) size machine. The Weedman tech, (Cody) did an excellent job explaining the weight control / penetration of the spikes, explaining too much weight ripped the yard, the correct weight cut 1-1/2 to 2 plugs. Great machine, excellent tech.

Everyone is so nice and easy to work with! I can not say enough good things! They do an excellent job and wonderful costumer service!

My weed problem is still present a year later. And I just begun to notice for the second time that I get a text message stating they are coming to perform services and NO ONE COMES. and my card gets charged. Im on the phone right now and no one even answers.

After dealing with Trugreen for years with unhappy results, we finally found Weedman with excellent results. We would recommend this company hands down! We finally have no weeds and a plush lawn!!

We have had bad experiences with Weedman in the past and thought we would give them one more try this year. It did not start out good, the salesman promised us certain things and after the supervisor listened to the recorded call the promises were honored. However after that, working with the office staff was a disaster. We were supposed to have service in July, no one called, sent texts, for the next appt. After several attempts to call the office and being asked the same questions over and over again within the same phone call and completely being ignored the guy kept asking us if we were calling for new service??? We were ready to cancel and just not ever go back to Weedman. The only reason why I gave this rating today is for the technician Cody M. that has gone above and beyond for this company to help us. He gave us reasons why things were happening to our lawn and to hold off on certain services until the issues were fixed. Let me make this clear - we noticed these issues before today and not knowing about what was going on we thought it was part of the treatment process. Cody M deserves to be recognized for his customer service, his skills, and his perseverance on helping home owners. We will only be requesting Cody going forward.

Cody Mofield came to my home for an annual treatment. He explained how the heat affected parts of my lawn and made some suggestions. Ive used Weedman for a while and so far theyve been doing fine. Im somewhat disappointed that the txt/email/door notices that I use to get explaining the treatments and what to do are not consistent but Ive told them about it so well see if they correct that problem. Theyve grown a lot because of their professionalism (they use a call center now so I cant speak directly to Nicole), but with growth sometimes the employees are in a rush. I hope the best for the success of Weedman.

Our posted no soliciting community had a door to door solicitor today from this company. In Davidson County it is illegal to solicit Door to Door in posted communities. They take a seasonal-specific approach to treatment with respect to the fertlizer and weed control they apply, and I can honestly say my yard is looking way better than a year ago when I started using them. I rarely write reviews but this really upset me. This evening, 22Mar2024 I had an employee of Weedman come to my door. I answered on a camera doorbell and after telling him I was not interested and explicitly saying not to leave anything, he still left a flyer on my door. He acknowledged that I was not interested and still continued to do it and walked away. If that is how you treat potential customers . This is all on camera to by the way. .

We used Weed Man for over three years and still had weeds everywhere. Ask them to cancel the service and they didnt and charged me for an additional treatment. Very bad customer service and very rude. I would not recommend this company at all.

EDIT: (4/13) Even after posting this review, sending an email, and getting a response from the company telling me they would add me to a Do Not Call list, they STILL DIDNT. Still getting calls. Again, always from a different number. This is basically harassment at this point. Just a fair warning to anyone inquiring about their services.. I will never use this company but only for the reason that I will NOT stop getting phone calls from their salespeople. I understand a couple calls but I looked at their website once, maybe 5-6 months ago and I still continue to get phone calls. Even after politely declining their business and asking multiple people to put me on a do not call list. I would simply block them if I could but it s always from a different number and I answer because of work, not that it matters. Just stop.

I have had an absolutely outstanding experience using Weed Man Lawn Care! From start to finish, their customer service and sales team have been incredible. I have tried many of things with my lawn in the past and it has seriously never looked better! This company is committing fraud. I asked a person that was servicing a neighbor to provide a quote (only) for my yard. He asked my name and phone number and had me initial at the bottom of the page (with nothing else filled out except the above two items). I asked again, before initialing, that this was for them to provide a quote only. This interaction was recorded on my video cameras and I have the saved footage. There was no misunderstanding. The day after the person left, I received a text from Quality Control at Weedman making sure I had signed up for a program at a price of $721.70 per year (I had not). I responded to the text telling them I had NOT signed up for any account or service then followed up with a call. I reached their office in Lexington and spoke to a very nice person who stated that she handled my account and informed her supervisor. Since that time, Ive received three calls from them wanting to provide service and just yesterday, received a bill in the mail. I recommend that you avoid doing business with this company unless you want to be fraudulently billed and called frequently, even after you have told them that you want nothing to do with their dishonest business.

We used Weed man last year and loved the service. This year they came out to do the first service and we were out of town. Our cameras showed them doing the front lawn, but all the cameras in back showed NOBODY! I emailed to ask and they replied that they would check their truck cameras. I heard nothing back. Emailed 10 days later to ask again and I got a quick reply saying they checked their cameras and service was done in the back. No offer of proof. Canceled their service today because I no longer trust them.

As a combat wounded soldier with a documented head injury, I called in January with my intent to Cancel my service. Yet I noticed service at my address almost a month later and a charge to my credit card on file from last year. I have called to dispute this charge twice this week yet was told today by female employee in billing that because I didnt use specific language the office manager refused to cancel service or refund the credit card charge. BE CAREFUL WHEN USING THIS COMPANY, It seems, in my opinion they will twist your words. UPDATE:WEEDMAN REPLIED, SOnow I will too. If you know who I am, then Rectify the situation. You have yet to refund my money. There is nothing to discuss. I even have a text message I sent indicating I didnt want your service. Someone will read this and choose wisely not to want dwal with your company, in my opinion.

My lawn in Franklin Tennessee is full of weeds and I have been using Weedman for the last three years. Neighbors on either side of me have much fewer weeds with Truegreen. Guess who I m going to change to.

I asked for a quote one time and they repeatedly show up at my doorstep for service (which I haven t even signed up for) and call me weekly no matter how many times I refuse to sign up. Wouldn t recommend even reaching out to them for a quote unless you want to get harassed on a weekly basis.

Yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Quentin. I happened to walk outside in the nick of time to see him about to begin services on my neighbors lawn. I walked over to him to ask him about the services that the company provided and he was absolutely the most polite, informative person for the job. He was courteous and very respectful. He provided me with a quote and explained the many different services offered. I have not done business yet, but I certainly signed a contract to have services done in the future just because of HIM. Give this man a raise! We need more people in the world that care about what it is that they do, especially in a time when many businesses are in need of help. I could have went with any company, I have had multiple offers, but I chose this company because of him, be very thankful that he is a representation of this company.

Didnt see much of a difference in our yard but it only has been a couple of treatments (and our yard is pretty much dirt ). Im giving a low rating because we have had nothing but trouble with our account. Had to switch payments on the account and got double charged because of it. When I called to see why I was charged twice, they gave me an excuse that a month of payment was somehow missed and charged at the same time the next month was. After calling and trying to login to my account, the website says that I dont exist as a customer anymore. Very disappointing and angering. Cancelation in the near future because this is too much of a hassle and problematic...

They spray our lawn prior to putting sod down so weeds would not come in and now this spring we have tons of weeds. Not a company of their word or integrity.

I ve been using Weed Man for just over a year. I did full service including aerating and overseeing. I followed instructions when watering was needed etc. and I couldn t be happier with the results. My lawn was full of weeds, weak, and overall looked terrible. After a year of letting them handle it all I have a full, green great looking yard. I ll be continuing to let them manage my yard for the foreseeable future. As for customer service they re top notch. If for some reason they can t make an appointment (which isn t often) I ve been notified in advance and it was rescheduled quickly. They alway answer the phone and are friendly and professional. I would and do recommend them to anyone needing their lawn transformed or maintained.

Everyone is very customer service oriented, which means they are extremely transparent about explaining what treatments and watering is necessary. I used weedman for lawncare for 1.5 years. I did the fertilization, weed control and aeration with them but my lawn never got better from the state it was in. The weed control worked but the grass never grew. They are extremely responsive and send a person the next day if you ask them for a consult but nothing they did seemed to help the lawn. On top of the poor results, when i discontinued the service they ended me charging an additional amount based on the number of services i had, even when i was on a monthly plan. I would have been fine with that but they mentioned the discount i was given at the beginning of service, was not applicable as the discount was on the last service only. So a word of caution for people who fall into that trap. Pretty bummed it didn t work for me. Good people to talk to but poor results !!

Their team wont spray in flower beds because their product will kill your landscaping plants. Thats fine, but NOT something they tell you. Additionally, if you ask a technician on site to do it- they wont tell you they cant; they will just ignore the request. This is what happened to us and when we called because it was so overgrown over several months, it wasnt until then when we learned of the flower bed restriction. This was our problem area we signed up for in the first place- so it was a waste of money for us. The good news is that their customer service was attentive and they cancelled right away.

No results either. Felt like a waste of money since the start. Will not continue with weedman next year. Great customer service though. Poor communication with techs. I watch them on my cameras missing multiple spots in yard.

Company has excellent Customer Service for scheduling times for treatments. Maintenace staff are professional and efficient. You must have an understanding that it may take some time and seasons of treatments before you will see the results you desire, of course depending on the condition of your lawn when treatments begin. I was willing to stay the course for two seasons and now I have a lawn to be proud of. It is still a bit of a work in progress but a laymen can see the difference from where we began. I will continue to use Weedman.

I initially received their services for about a year and half. Initially the weed control was acceptable but quality of their work declined and return guarantee spray hardly noticeable. When cancelled, they will not take no for an answer and continues to call for over a year using different phone numbers. The typical lines of what can we make it right are repeated like sales tactic businesses of the 80s. At the end of the day, its not what the company says but what they do in their work. This Weedman location of Nashville is subpar.

Empty promises and once they start calling you they never stop I ve asked them on so many instances to leave me alone and remove my number it doesn t stop .

I d never use another company for my lawn care needs. More importantly, if Weed Man didn t have an incredibly professional and polite young man like Dominic I m sure they d be out of business. I ve been a customer of Weed Man for close to 7 years now and it was the best decision of my life, my divorce comes 2nd.

Overall I am pleased with the outcome but there were a few hiccups of note. When I initially purchased a year of service with them I was told I d receive a spring and fall aeration and overseed with my package. When mid fall came around this year still no one had showed up. So I called them and they told me repeatedly that wasn t what was agreed upon but after they reviewed our deal and the offer they finally relented. So last week 11.2.22 they came out and did the fall aeration and overseed which I think is kind of late in the season at this point but I hope it takes and my yard looks great next year. Other than those disagreements and the timing of things everyone was professional and in the end got the job done. We will see how things look in the spring if I decide to use them again.

I ve been disappointed from the jump with weed man. Starting with their sales team cold calling me and committing to a 1 time payment with a discount only to be set up on recurring charges higher than agreed to. Then to make matters worse they have missed multiple appointments without notification and instead of coming out to do the treatments they miss their system seems to forget and they never show up unless you call and hound them. Products may be better hard to say when you have to basically beg them to do the service on time or at all. I did not expect paying for a lawn service would be more work than don t it myself, I regret signing up for a year of service with this company. UPDATE: IT S 2022 and I gave them another chance. BIG MISTAKE!! Same exact thing that happened last year, was offered services in the summer, sign up and save - only to be skipped in the fall. They are not organized and drop the ball constantly.

Had the pleasure of getting to talk to a worker by the name Que. He was sincerely polite and took time out of his day to talk to me and made sure his work was honest and a well done job. Highly recommend!

These guys are great. We bought a house with a yard that was mess. Slowly but surely with Weed Man we re getting the weeds under control and grass to come through. Competitive and totally transparent pricing. Service providers show up on time and provide exactly what you re paying for. Can t recommend enough!

I used to sell Dixie Choppers and know my way around a yard, but you guys have it figured out.

Great person and worker

Weedman did ok. I can t say they did great by any means. My grass does not look any healthier at this time than it did a year ago or even at beginning of summer. So I am not sure that it was a good investment for my yard. I am not blaming them at all, because it was a dry summer and I probably could have watered more. With that said I will just take over these task and save myself some money.

These guys are great. My lawn looks good. They let me know when They will be there the day before. Let me know if they are not coming due to weather. Easy online paying.

Would not recommend this company at all! When they first showed up to put down grass seed, they said our gate was locked and couldn t do their job. Well we don t have a gate lock and turns out they went to the wrong house and put the seed down in the wrong yard (our neighbors yard). Then when they were suppose to come out for the second phase, we were told they would be there that Monday and they never showed up. We never received a call or email letting us know they weren t coming or an apology. This is a horribly ran business that is extremely unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Been a non stop struggle with Weedman since last Spring. My lawn looks no better all these months later. They have left my gate open and let my dog out, have done lackluster aeration and seeding as well. When a supervisor visited I was not impressed and calling in only leads to multiple telling me that they can not help with refunds or explaining what was happening. Good luck yall!
