Matt Lovett was highly skilled and did a phenomenal job redesigning my front and back yard. He listened intently to my requests and took careful consideration in executing his design plan in a prompt and professional fashion. The project manager, Josh, and his crew were timely, professional, and took special care to leave no trace beyond their installment when they left. A highly reputable company for a reason!

I can t recommend Gardens of Babylon enough! From the very beginning through the installation, they were easy to get in touch with, quick to respond with helpful answers and solutions, and fun to work with during the whole process. From design to installation and maintenance, they re the best. The crews are so great, too. Will use again and again!

The prices can be a little high sometimes, but you get the quality you pay for. All of their plants are healthy and strong, and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable. They do a great job of staging the place and making it beautiful year round.

They sell you a great story, then repeatedly miss expectations. I signed up for the all inclusive $1k/month maintenance program and over $35k of upgrades. I now have dead trees, a sparse looking lawn and sickly looking landscape after they twice left my irrigation system turned down. They text you to say theyre coming to work on the beds but Ive never seen them actually work on the beds. They still havent trimmed my shrubs. Very disappointed all around.

Unfortunately, the landscaping plan presented on paper didn t look the same once planted. Very sparse, small plantings at a very high cost. The edging install was nice but, for the price, I am definitely not satisfied with the outcome. See the drawings versus the plantings in the attached photos. Additionally the tree and hydrangeas are very stressed and will likely die even with regular watering. Tree is leaning because hole wasnt deep enough.

This company is top notch! Unmatched customer service, sales, job quality, payments, etc They are leading the way in every aspect of business. If you are looking for anything to do with landscaping they are your one stop shop and you won t regret giving them a call!

I would give 10 stars to Gardens of Babylon if I could! We hired them to landscape our front beds at our house and install a new patio in our backyard. The communication with Matt & Josh was stellar! I always felt up-to-date on our project and they were quick to answer any questions we have. Their team (headed up by Natividad) was professional, and took great care to get everything right. Great experience!! We had a 5 star experience working with Gardens of Babylon. Max designed a beautiful solution to a bare, boring slope from our front yard to the street. He was happy to work with my vision and point out things I hadn t thought of. Josh, the project manager, and his crew who did the installation were excellent! When we questioned the height of some walls they were happy to give us a visual of the final look and check in along the way to make sure it was to our satisfaction. Josh even came back once the project was complete to run our existing irrigation and make sure the plants were going to be properly watered! I d recommend Gardens of Babylon, and it s efficient landscape architect and project manager duo of Max & Josh to anyone who is looking to work with a professional team to create the garden of their dreams. Great landscaping company. Alex and his crew came out and dug up all the old landscaping and planted new flowers, bushes and a small tree. They were kind and friendly. I highly recommend Gardens of Babylon for any landscaping needs.

As a plant lover. I give 5 stars! Beautiful, happy plants!!! So many beautiful plants. Gosh. I couldnt buy any...because we flew.

We have a small yard on a heavily trafficked street, and Gardens of Babylon filled it with cat mint, some ornamental grasses, a black gum tree, a boulder, and a gravel bed. They even trimmed our holly bushes. I feel very much like my parents, taking such extreme pride in how my yard looks at the moment, but so be it -- they did a great job and its worth of celebration. Special shoutout to Max for sticking with us through the whole thing.

I highly recommend working with Eric V. He is super organized and on top of it. He designed a landscape plan for a new home we moved into, where there were a bunch of blank spaces and dead plants. Whenever we had questions or concerns, Eric was super responsive and made sure things were taken care of. Were excited for our landscaping to look fuller and more beautiful this summer and beyond!

Its already transformed a neglected back yard into my favorite spot. Special care and kindness was offered throughout the process, which I appreciated as a first timer.

Because Gardens of Babylon did the right thing: they acknowledged the mistake and assigned us a new designer. Vincent did a great job with the design, listening to our goals and suggesting new ideas. The end result is a design that manages both to stand out while remaining sympathetic to the house. Val, Victor, and Miguel did an excellent job with the installation. We have been customers with GoB for years and have always enjoyed shopping at the downtown nursery. In late 2023 we had the pleasure to meet and work with Matt on a design for two of our gardens. He was very patient in listening to our concerns (deer) and our interest in pollinator plants. Matt presented great layouts that made us very excited. Jon, our project manager, supervised the job and provided daily updates. The team of Eric and Salvador were terrific technicians in carrying out Matt s design. They went beyond our expectations when performing several simple tasks for us. Everyone was so professional and easy to work with. We are truly pleased with the work they did, and we are now planning several additional garden phases for this year. Six Stars!

Babylon was a dream to work with when we finished our landscaping. Max was thoughtful and intentional with his designs while also making it more beautiful than we could have imagined. I took a look around here while visiting the farmers market. There is a great variety of planting containers and plants. If I was in the market for either, Id get them here.

We are still in the decision process of what and how much we will be using Gardens of Babylon. I will say that Max (Our landscape architect) is one of the most professional people we have worked with throughout the entire new home building process including all the contractors and subcontractors. If only he could do it all. We will be using them when we decide all the areas they can beautify with the timing of plantings after we are finished with all the pool building.

Max Finkbeiner is the Landscape Architect that worked with my wife and me on our new home and pool. He is incredibly talented to ask the right questions then listen beyond what we said to show us more than ever expected. His promptness and attentiveness was more than what is experienced in todays business relationships. Maxs presentation of his plans was outstanding to show in 2-D/3-D then animation as we walked our pool and entertainment area of our home. The accuracy of his work is worth gold and we recommend Max to anyone considering the services of Gardens of Babylon Landscaping.

I absolutely loved working with Gardens of Babylon for our landscape project. I worked with Landscape Designer Vincent Scalone who was wonderfully thoughtful in discussing the potential design. I could tell he was really listening to the ideas and vision I had and used that to create a design that would work best with the type of yard and sunlight we had available. The installation crew was wonderful too. Very thorough in their work and great at communicating their plans and timeline. When thinking about future projects, I plan to use Gardens of Babylon again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to landscape their home.

We had a great experience using Gardens of Babylon! We worked directly with Max to design and visualize our project including a new concrete driveway, sidewalk, and refreshed landscaping. Throughout the project, we were notified by Jon and Taylor when the team would be onsite with Max checking in on quality and ensuring work was done right according to the design. The team executing these tasks, including Jerry and team as well as Val, did great work. All teams were reliable, professional in all communications, and very detailed and they completed the project as planned and on time.

I attended the Terrarium building class at Gardens of Babylon Landscape and it was so fun!! The instructor was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot, as well as had a great time! I left with a beautiful terrarium and the knowledge of how to care for it. Would highly recommend this class and any others they offer!

He listened to me with genuine interest was able to envision what I was intending in a very short period of time and then he put together a plan that I was very excited about. I HIGHLY recommend Gardens of Babylon, specifically Max and his team. They were extremely responsive throughout the whole process. My backyard is pretty steep and throughout it all, they helped create a solution that is functional, beautiful, and a great use of the space. I love this place! Theyre expensive but for an independent garden/plant store its not outrageous. Their pot selections are always so cute, they have a fun selection of crystals and incense, and of course - their plants are always high quality and wonderful. Matt was very patient in working with me on a landscape design and paid attention to my needs and budget. Taylor and his crew did a wonderful job of installing the new plantings. We used Gardens of Babylon 14 years ago at our previous house and had such a great experience used them again for the new home. Vincent and the entire team did an outstanding job from design, to installation and follow-up. The install team informed when they would be on site to work, and met the schedule.

The work they did was fine, but the communication around the entire project was average. Ultimately led to cancelling their services as there was some clear miscommunication on what was expected.

Three letters- WOW. I couldnt wait to get home to write this review! I had the best customer service experience Ive ever had at a plant nursery / garden center before at Gardens of Babylon today. I came in with two of my own plants, a monstera and a swiss cheese for repotting. Angelina and Lily went above and beyond and took such great care of my plants. Not only did they repot, they gave me some much needed plant knowledge and diagnosed the issues I was having (they were in way too big pots and underwatered), recommended the moss poles, and the results are honestly a piece of freaking art! I am hard of hearing and Angelina and Lily accommodated when I told them that by speaking louder multiple times without getting frustrated with me (it happens a lot- and that meant a lot to me). My plants are so happy now. While getting those two repotted, Stephanie was also a huge help in perennials and helped me pick out a rose bush + flowers to line my sidewalk! I was avoiding going in because I had no idea where to start. I feel confident now I can plant what I purchased and handle the care of my plants that were repotted. I could go on and on. This experience was so special to me, I will be doing a landscaping consultation with these people, no doubt. THANK YOU SO MUCH ANGELINA, LILY, AND STEPHANIE!

We have been GOB customers for a few years now and are always singing their praises. Starting from the very beginning, Eric V. was a great listener and provided lots of good ideas in creating the perfect design for our yard. He also did a fantastic job coordinating the various specialists who then handled their individual pieces of the landscape puzzle. We have absolutely loved watching the yard mature. The suggested plants are terrific quality and hardy. We also have GOB handle all of our yard maintenance, including irrigation. With Philip H. at the lead, they do a wonderful job. The crews are professional, knowledgeable and polite. While not often, when we have issues that arise, Philip is very responsive and sorts it out. Terrific customer service. In short, GOB gets our vote and we highly recommend therm.

People are super friendly. Nursery has lots of options and DOES NOT disappoint. Definitely stop in during the off hours so you can enjoy. Definitely will be stopping back in if in town. Their seed collection is plentiful.

We worked with Eric as the designer for our backyard. We always felt that he was making sure we were making informed decisions - from price to design. When we finally landed on a design, the crew that actually executed the design did a really good job. They were on time, worked hard, validated where we wanted the plants to be located and told us when they would be back and what they would be working on the next day. Along the process, the project manager and/or Eric checked in with us to ensure everything was going to plan. We also were pleased that the job wasnt done until the job was done right. We would highly recommend Gardens of Babylon - good partners, great communication, fair pricing, nice people to work with!

We were looking for a company to help us do a total redo of our small, unusable backyard into a family friendly entertaining space. After meeting with handfuls of contractors who wouldn t take the job because they thought it would be too expensive and complicated due to access issues, we reached out to Gardens of Babylon. They immediately responded and were enthusiastic about the project. We worked with Ryan and Matt with the design team, and they were incredible competent, knowledgeable, very responsive, friendly, worked within our budget, and helped us come up with cost-saving measures. Once we finalized the design and paid the initial deposit, the project started within about 6 weeks. The men on the ground doing the work were fantastic they were meticulous, did really excellent work, and worked tirelessly for long days. We had one issue with a subcontractor, who used the wrong material, but Gardens of Babylon worked hard to make it right. Overall, we are very happy we went with Gardens of Babylon for our backyard redo, and we could not be happier with the final product.

I love shopping here not just because the plants are way better quality than other garden centers, but because the service is absolutely the best all around! The prices are higher than some other places, but it s so worth it, especially if you re new to gardening or have any questions. Even after buying a plant, their staff is super helpful more than once I ve called in a panic and they ve walked me through how to get a struggling plant healthy again. They are amazing and I ll keep shopping here for sure!

What a lovely greenhouse and garden hybrid shop! We stopped by the Gardens of Babylon Landscapes to admire the amount of products and services they had for its greenery and nature. From pots and wind chimes, to fertilizer, seeds, and interesting crafts for gardens - this is one of the largest greenhouses in Nashville and has plenty to offer. Their prices are reasonable, and if you look at the sales shelf they have more affordable to offer there. Staff are usually walking around the area and are available to help. I enjoyed visiting this place, and recommend any plant enthusiasts to come take a look here too!

Visit the store every farmers market and the quality is always on point. It s pricy but what isn t now a days! The amazing staff truly makes the experience though, you always have an employee within arms reach when you need one and they re always more than willing to help you with care instructions, finding what your looking for or picking out what you need to suit your preferences. 10/10 will always come back!

Super helpful and kind employees

We pay them to mow our yard and keep our yard landscaping maintained. Every week is another issue. We constantly must call them to come and mow, the maintenance is always minimal at best. They re a absolute mess. Plus, now they re charging us an extra 3% credit card fee. Do not use them. Find another company.

I got a ring, tote bag and ring. The selection of plants and grifts was impressive and the woman who helped me at the register was so sweet and helpful. I m from out of town but will definitely be coming back!

She was friendly, courteous and professional and we knew we were in good hands from the start. We spent months interviewing landscapers around Nashville to find the perfect fit to help us design/install/beautify our front yard. Our yard had to be completely redone, so there was a lot of work to do. Among the nearly 10 companies we spoke with Gardens of Babylon stood out as professional, courteous, and inspired. The drafts they presented excited us and made us look forward to each conversation and iteration. They were responsive to our goals and budget. We got a beautiful product and spent exactly what we had hoped! They were able to work with other contractors we had at our house and in a total team effort delivered a beautiful product. Our neighbors are ALWAYS commenting on just how gorgeous our house is, and it is in no small part because of the work that Gardens of Babylon did. Most importantly, Gardens of Babylon stood by their product. We had a couple of plants that did not flower as beautifully as they should have. And Gardens of Babylon replaced them with no trouble! We will MOST DEFINITELY recommend Gardens of Babylon to friends, family, and neighbors and we will of course work with them again. I used gardens of babylon to redo my backyard and they did a phenomenal job! I went into the consultation with limited ideas and Vincent, a landscape designer for Gardens, came up with the most beautiful and functional plan in a very short amount of time. He was so friendly and easy to work with. He incorporated all of my requests in a very unique way (including a bocce hall court!). The installers were friendly and so clean. Taylor, my project manager, had great follow up throughout the project and was available to answer all of my questions. I also had a custom fountain created by Trevor who did a phenomenal job- I gave him a few inspiration pictures and he created a one of a kind fountain that was exactly what I wanted. I can t recommend this company enough and if you do go with them for your project you should ask for Vincent to be your designer!

They did a great job with our project. They installed pavers/rocks on the side of our house, and a bunch of trees and other landscaping in the back yard. We (Dreamliner Coach) called Gardens of Babylon to quote our property lawn care, landscaping, and irrigation. They have been nothing but awesome with everything they have done. Everyone that has come to out has been super professional and knowledgable. Oscar came out to look at our irrigation system. Within a few hours he had our whole system diagnosed, repaired and working the way it was supposed to work. I heard ads on NPR for years about GoB and was not disappointed by my first trip there. Every team member I encountered was outstanding. Becca s consultation with me about my two plants was very informative. Trevor stopped what he was doing to answer my questions. Hannah was incredibly friendly as she checked me out. Definitely worth the drive from Spring Hill. They have such a great selection, and I will definitely be back. (I will say, parking was a bit stressful on a Saturday morning during the Turnip Festival. However, I still ended up with a front row spot so dont let a full parking lot scare you away.) After implementing what Becca suggested, Ive got a happy plant that will be well-hydrated.

I am beyond thrilled with how my landscaping project turned out. Max captured what I was looking for the design in my backyard and then some. Jon, the project manager, was in touch with me during the entire project with updates and answering any questions I had. Bernardino, Jose de Jesus and Lorenzo did an excellent job with installing all the trees, plants, etc. Everyone was so professional and easy to work with. Trevor helped me choose some beautiful containers, which I truly love, and the design for those were incredible.

We were out of ideas for our back yard but the Gardens of Babylon team came up with a great plan and executed it perfectly. Eric always got back to me quickly and was very helpful with ideas as I continued to re-think my plant choices. Chris was very accommodating as things changed on planting day. We lived in East Nashville and frequented their first store in Five Points 20 years ago. About the same time we moved to near North Nashville, they relocated to Downtown Farmers Market, and so remaining regular customers was easy for us. Up until this year weve had nothing but high praise for their services.

A close friend recommended Gardens of Babylon, and more specifically, Max, for a complete overhaul of my outdoor space. Max is a standout. He is extremely friendly and patient and has robust experience in landscaping. His design for the exterior exceeded my expectations. If I had any questions or concerns, I could simply text him and know that I would receive a prompt reply. In a nutshell, I would recommend him 1,000 times over. My house actually feels like a home, and I couldnt be happier.

As a houseplant enthusiast, I ve heard legends of this place, and it was even better than I ve heard!! So many rare plants all in one place, definitely more expensive than some other places but it s clearly worth the money for the convenience! Their staff was helpful and friendly, while giving us plenty of space to browse on our own. They have such a wide selection of all plant care needs, indoors and out. I also loved the living wall, and they had a great selection of unique pots!

Rich was not helpful. We requested a quote for landscaping over phone. We never received scheduled call. Then we called the business and finally got him on the phone 30 min later and scheduled in person home review for design. Then he never showed up for design consult (meeting invite sent from him). Not good for business.

I am reviewing for my personal use and a larger community project I was involved with. From my personal experience this is the COOLEST place to walk around. They have beautiful plants (MANY you wont see at Lowes or Home Depot), great pots and yard art, amazing indoor plants and unique gifts and accessories. The plants and herbs I buy there are substantially healthier than when I grab a plant somewhere else. Our HOA contacted Gardens of Babylon about a project in our community. We were lucky enough to have Ryan design and bid the project. Ryan came up with a beautiful plan, put up with all my questions (and procrastination) with a very positive and professional attitude. We will absolutely work with Ryan and Gardens of Babylon again in the future!!

We are huge fans of GoB! Eric worked tirelessly with us on a complex project, including engineering drainage options and persistently working with the city to get all the right sign offs, not an easy task! Sam and the install team were awesome and we ve also enjoyed working with Tim and the irrigation group. As a result - we ve recaptured a lot of our lawn and are grateful for the help!

From the initial design consultation with Vincent Scalone, I knew it was going to be an excellent experience. He worked with us to find the best solutions for our budget, drew up incredible designs, and gave us realistic expectations of the timeline for the project. Jon Odenbaugh, our project manager, was so communicative throughout the project we always knew when to expect the crews, and he always kept us updated. The incredible, kind, hardworking crew Jose Vigil, Bernardino, Juan Rodriguez, Natividad, and Jose Prado did such gorgeous work so efficiently. We were extremely happy working with Gardens of Babylon. Our designer Max Finkbeiner came up with an elegant plan that fit in our budget. Our Production Manager, Jon Odenbaugh, was professional and communicated well and our Crew: Jimenez Rodriguez, Bernardino, Jose de Jesus, Jose Vigil, and Natividad executed Maxs plan perfectly! Our backyard went from a mud pit to our favorite part of our home!

I ve been working with Gardens of Babylon for the past year to completely renovate our landscape. We initially hired them to redesign our small front yard to improve our curb appeal. We worked with Max Finkbeiner to design the plan and he did a wonderful job, incorporating our desires and making great suggestions for moving our sidewalk and creating a much more appealing welcome. After the success of the front yard, we took on our true issue which was a flooding issue in our small backyard. Our home was renovated and expanded in the 2016-2017 timeframe. We purchased it in 2020 and quickly discovered that we had significant water issues in the back yard whenever it rained hard. Max was so persistent in developing a plan to move the water away from our home and yard and to the drainage culvert behind our property. He worked within the budget we gave him and was very creative in developing a plan. Once approved, we had a wonderful experience with the Sam Todd who took over project management after visiting our property during a hard rain and seeing the amount of water runoff we were dealing with. And I can t say enough about Simone who was the crew manager and worked very hard to provide a perfect execution of a complicated plan. The finished back yard looks great and will be more and more beautiful as the years progress and all the plantings mature. But the best praise I can give is that we no longer have standing water and flooding issues in our back yard. Many thanks to Max, Sam, Simon and Gardens of Babylon.

We shopped around for a landscape design and build company when we were looking to add a patio to the front of our house. We are on a corner lot and wanted to make sure whatever we did was done right and additive to curb appeal. While Gardens if Babylon was not the lowest estimate, Ryan took the time to answer questions and share a portfolio of work in the design process. Other companies were more take it or leave it. It was clear from the start that Gardens of Babylon had deep experience and we could trust their work product. We were not disappointed! Communication was thorough throughout the process. The hand offs across teams were seem less to us - from design to project management to build to irrigation. Our build team of Carlos, Rene and Oscar were fabulous. It was clear that they have worked as a team in many projects. Similarly, Jon provided clear daily updates and checked in regularly. Since the work has been completed, we have received many compliments from neighbors with the best one being it looks like its been there all along and fits right in!. The staff here is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! I ve come plenty times now, and I love that they have a bin for taking free plastic pots. They have several different options and varieties of plants to choose from. They have pots and potting mix available in store. They even carry decorative items for pots and plants such as stained glass pieces. They are dog friendly and they even keep a water bowl out!

The dreamiest nursery!! So many rare plants that make it a fun visit. It s my #1 place to visit every time we travel to Nashville. If they ever decide to sell the shop s beautiful Giganteum Blizzard - I call dibs, hehe!

Gardens of Babylon repotted an 8-year old plant for me after moving from a different state and it is doing spectacularly (and they made it look incredible). I have additionally bought a couple plants here which may be a little more expensive but that is the cost of supporting local small business rather than Lowes, and the service and personal attention you get more than makes up for it. They even let you text and email questions! Most importantly, they seem to love your greens as much as you do ...

Wanted an entirely new front yard to create an ideal outdoor living space. Started with Max and the design process. Once the work started the daily updates and check in from Jon were great. The crew was respectful and cleaned up each day to minimize inconvenience. I have worked with them in the past on small jobs. This was a huge job and we are thrilled with the outcome.

Chloe was so helpful and worked around my request with ease. The team that worked on the install left everything as clean. So far, so good on the plants themselves. Follow up I still support the original comments above but I ve not been at all pleased the the new plant bed that was installed in this project. It doesn t appear that the grass was removed from the bed before planting and the added soil had all sorts of plants and weeds. The bed was a complete mess with grass, weeds and even tomato plants (that were not there before)completely taken over the area. It was a dramatic difference from the other existing beds that had new plantings. See attached photos. The older beds had some weeds which is to be expected. I ve had to pay another company to come in and address the issue as the problem wasn t addressed by GofB. Not the outcome expected for the cost of this project.

Nathania was so wonderful and helped me with a bonsai pot and planting mix. She even snapped photos for me so I could see what they had in stock. This is a great little garden center in the heart of downtown Nashville. What they lack in size they WELL make up for in carefully curated plants and pots and soils. And the folks who work here are the nicest on the planet. Five stars.

Definitely the best part about the farmer s market! This is my favorite plant store ever. Everyone that works here is so lovely and it s a great vibe. A wide selection at reasonable prices. AND you can text to ask for help with your plants!!

My wife and I shopped around a few other Nashville landscape companies. We waited weeks for a reply and sometimes never got a call back. From our first call with Gardens Of Babylon, we were treated as a priority and communication was excellent. Ryan Fogerty, our landscape specialist, coordinated with a concrete contractor and landscape installers. We were given a later installation date, but she was able to move us up due to last minute cancellations. The entire process, from design, implementation, installation, and follow-up were seamless. Our yard and driveway look incredible! I d highly recommend them to anyone looking to add value to their home with curated landscape design.

Gardens of Babylon helped me design a drainage system for our yard. Then remove some top soil (it was very clay-like and rocky), laid down some drainage hose to help prevent ponding and muddy areas, laid down some new top soil and reseeded. We went from having a yard with large tufts of grass (trip hazard for my toddlers) combined with muddy plains, water drifts, and standing water... to a yard that is a pleasure to run around in and never gets more than regular wet during a rainstorm. Huge recommend.

Were in the process of installing a pool in our backyard and needed to find a landscape company to help complete our project. After interviewing a few candidates we decided to work with GOBL. I dont have enough GREAT things to say about them. Max has been extremely patient and came to the table with great design ideas. He came out and took initial measurements, shared a few initial ideas and then provided fantastic renderings to help bring our collaboration to life. Hes been in constant communication with us and were excited to move forward with our installation. If youre looking for a landscape company with superior service and quality, look no further. We are building a new construction home and Gardens of Babylon was recommended to us. It was easy to use their website to get paired up with a fantastic landscape architect, Max! Even though we were in a rural area, Max was super responsive (and we were way behind and needed to move quickly). After meeting on-site and creating a plan, Max has developed several visual models to guide our process for building retaining walls, pool placement and starting the plantings. I ve been very impressed with the talented, kind folks and quality services. We look forward to having them maintain our landscapes for the long-term. Highly recommend!

Max is incredible. GOB are fantastic. I moved to Nashville and recently purchased a home on a challenging sloping block 20 slope from house to rear fence. I engaged Max after surveying the marketplace for a professional designer to help make the backyard useful and engaging. Max came up with several amazing designs. He is super creative, has a great eye for aesthetic yet practical and with terrific attention to detail and understanding of how people could interact with the finished space. He took our simple concept storybook and created a wonderful space. The designs evolved as we grew to appreciate the land. He was never flustered. Part way through the design I asked if he could fit in a 40 pool . He tried. We had onsite meetings with pool engineers and crane operators. We didn t go with the pool, but it is a testament to the wealth of professionals Max has access to. Max worries over details like ground levels, drainage and finishes so you don t need to. He uses modeling technology that captures your environment so you can see a video of how the design proposals would look and this allows you to visualize how you d interact with the final design He created a wonderful design that extends indoor living seamlessly to outdoor spaces. It flows from the kitchen into over 1000 sqft of special outdoor living and to the gardens beyond that make it a sanctuary. He also created a wonderful front entryway that connects visitors to the home and intrigues in a Lloyd Wright way. Max is a professional, super creative and one of Nature s gentlemen. It is a pleasure to work with Max.

We are very pleased with the design and installation work from Gardens of Babylon. Ryan, Jon, Jose, and the rest of the crew did a fantastic, professional job. Jon reached out every morning of the installation to let me know the status. Ryan listened and helped us conceive a plan that was in our budget and utilized native plants and rocks. We are thrilled and would definitely recommend Gardens of Babylon. We had a minor weather-related issue with the easy joint and they made it right. Highly recommend!

Stones and pottery can be a bit overpriced, but they have such a wonderful selection and amazing staff! They have one of the best selections of plants that Ive found around nashville, and at decent prices. The plants are always beautiful and Ive only had a few die after being brought home (that werent my fault). Ive been going here for a few years and overall they have an amazing, creative atmosphere and great products!

The staff was so helpful and friendly! They were able to answer all our questions and helped us wrangle all the plants we bought. I was kind of disappointed when I got home (2 hours away) and realized they charged me full price for a clearanced plant. Updated: The customer service team here is great! Friendly and patient. They cleared up the pricing misunderstanding (the e-receipt just wasnt showing my discounts) and got me a new itemized receipt with the correct prices which helps me out a lot! I hope to buy all the future plants I can here.

For semi truck deliveries, head down to Harrison St and right before the Round a bout there s a gate where you ll be able to back into, it ll be a bit tight but it s so-able. Pictures to help

Always a pleasant experience when i go to shop for a new plant, great prices for the love and care the plants receive before heading to their forever home. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. Definitely a place to stop by whenever you are in Nashville Tennessee.

Nice place to walk around and kill some time!

After getting bids to put in a new paver walkway, I chose Gardens of Babylon. While they are not the cheapest, they provide real value throughout the project. Walkways are both art and science, and Gardens has capabilities in both. Every day, they looked for the best alternatives, and the walkway shows that. From proposal to completion, their employees were smart, dedicated, experienced, reliable and kind. Im glad I chose them.

Everything about my experience with Gardens of Babylon was excellent. They cleaned and mulched our border gardens. In addition, they extended a border garden with new plants. All communications were clear and prompt and thorough. They let me know when we were on the schedule and confirmed the exact time. When I had questions, they were answered quickly and completely. The results exceeded my expectation. It was also so beautiful! This was our second experience using them, and we will continue to do so!

Gardens of Babylon put in a stone path to our front door at our home and also did a large landscaping project for the organization I work for. They listened to my needs and asked good questions. I felt like they did their due diligence in researching and recommending the right plants and materials for the job. Thank you for taking the time to understand the job and allowing me to ask lots of questions so I am clear on the value of the investment. The customer service process was quick and efficient. I like the final walk-through of the project, even if it was just a small path.

UPDATE: Gardens of Babylon completely overhauled our yard and it looks beautiful now. We have had some heavy rains and the yard is draining really well. I really really appreciate the time and effort the team put in here. This is the AFTER picture. We hired Gardens of Babylon to help with drainage and grass growth in our yard. They have always been very nice and designed what wouldve been a beautiful yard. However, it has taken over a year of our complaining of lack of drainage and subsequent grass dying without resolution. While we were offered to re-sod it for thousands of dollars, we are incredibly discouraged. We already paid thousands of dollars for a backyard. When the drainage issues continued after their work, we very quickly were in contact with them. We remained in contact with them for the past year and a half. Our backyard is a sand pit on sunny days and a mud pit on wet days. We are unable to use it for the movie nights and cartwheels in the way we hoped and imagined. While we hold out hope that Gardens of Babylon can fix this, the length of time with the back and forth and living in a mud pit leaves me with a low review.

If you know, you know. Gardens of Babylon is a top-notch nursery and one of the largest selections of indoor plants in Greater Nashville. They have a vast and revolving selection of some very rare plants as well as all of the crowd pleasers. My heart sings when I peruse their aisles and bask in all of that plant energy. Ive yet to visit without taking home a new plant. (Lets be honest. Its usually 3 or 4, but whos counting?!) Thank god for GoB rewards!

Nice place, friendly staff, large variety of houseplants, outdoor plants, annuals and accessories. Just wish there were more plant babies. I wanted something new but I need to know I can take care of it before I buy a huge plant off my wish list. I like to start with babies to make sure. Im Def going back for the whale fin plant.

I really enjoyed this place. It had a variety of plants and other garden items.

For years Ive patronized Christmas tree lots where the people who work there couldnt explain the difference between the kinds of trees they offer, etc. I always wanted a better experience (especially for what the trees cost) but couldnt figure out where to get it. This year, I saw an Insta post from Gardens of Babylon about buying a Norfolk Island Pine instead of a Christmas tree and using it as a houseplant all year long. Intrigued, I called before I went and talked through my options with a very helpful young woman. Once I got to G of B, Trevor guided me through the process with an incredible amount of expertise and friendliness. Christmas trees (and houseplant-like Christmas trees) are the least of what Gardens of Babylon offers, and they will be my go-to for now on for every plant that enters my home. Cant say enough about Trevor, his knowledge, confidence and easy going manner. Incredibly positive experience with him.

Great selection of houseplants and the staff is super friendly.

Working closely with Max at Gardens has been great. They are helping us with the landscaping in our front beds and I look forward to seeing the final product! UPDATE - Max and team just got done completing the design in our front beds and we could not be happier. The design turned out beautifully. Max extended the bed so that we can now see our flower bed from our front door, which will be fun during the spring & summer when we can see the plants and add some flowers. They got rid of all the monkey grass that was bordering our sidewalk and it looks SO much better. They added a beautiful red bud tree that we can see from one of our front windows and the beds look full and completely updated. We are very happy, it definitely made a huge difference. They got the job done quickly and we can t wait to see how everything blossoms in the spring. Thank you Max and Gardens for taking care of us, your customer service has been top notch.

Super stunning variety of plants with friendly and helpful service! The Gardens of Babylon are a must see even if you re not looking to take any plants home. They have a massive variety, and everything is organized very nicely. My friend got some very nice string of pearls plants from here that are healthy and bug free AND very reasonably priced! Plus, the people who work here are knowledgeable about plants so feel free to ask any questions pre-purchase if you re not sure how to take care of your desired plant :)

If you live in Nashville, this is the go-to place for all of your houseplant needs! The quality can t be beat. Elizabeth and Devin are so knowledgeable and kind - they helped me out a lot. The manager, Neil, is fantastic and helped me load plants into my car after wrapping them to make sure they transported well. Great experience, will be back!

We have a small backyard, a limited budget, and less-than-green thumbs. Ryan was our consultant and was great at listening to our needs, understanding our limitations, and designing a fire pit & walkway area that was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Both hardscaping and landscaping were completed really well and within the estimated timeframes, and Ryan checked in to answer questions and be sure we were satisfied. Were keeping our fingers crossed that we can keep our pretty (low-maintenance!) plants alive through the winter. In the meantime, were loving nights by the fire pit and are looking forward to spring blooms! Top to bottom, a great experience.
