I contacted Jeff for some repairs on my lawn and he was very quick to come out and give me a quote and actually gave me a re-quote as my yard changed leading up to the project date. These are before and afters of some of the work Jeff did for me. He installed sod in some areas and did some overseeing as well as raised some pavers and added some polly sand in some of the borders of my patios that were not done correctly. Jeff was amazing. I called because a different landscaper accepted the job and never showed up. I explained to Jeff the situation and that I had a cookout coming up I really wanted the place to look good for. The property was in serious need of a cleanup and some trees and bushes removed. Ive had a huge yard and one lawn tractor for 23 years. I love them both but theyve also created tons of headaches over the years. Ive been to just about every small engine place in a 30 mile radius for one thing or another. Some good, some bad, never great. Using Jeffs service recently is the first time Ive ever used the word great to describe my small engine repair. I couldnt even get someone to answer my call at all my usual go-to places for a recent/complicated repair in the middle of the frenzied Spring grass-growing season). I happened onto Jeff in desperation. He is the only person who not only picked up the phone but dealt with my concerns right away. Jeff was very responsive and got me in as fast as possible. He set exact expectations on when he could get the work done. No surprises! Later, I had about 10 back and forth texts and calls from Jeff as we diagnosed the tractor issues and worked through their resolution sending photos of everything throughout the process. I love knowing my tractor inside and out and Jeff walked me through unfamiliar parts of the steering column and axle transfer. In conversation I had complained about some other steering issues Id encountered. He immediately investigated, diagnosed proposed solutions while on the phone without my asking. Never put any pressure on me to get it done but if I end up fixing it based on his recommendations, Im pretty sure Ill get many more years out of a tractor that might have quit on me otherwise. I had an old pressure washer that I thought just needed a tune up, Jeff found a bunch of other problems, fixed most of them, but, ultimately it was in poor shape and although he got it running he was not satisfied with the results. All he charged me for was the pick up and delivery, instead of all the work he did. He impressed me enough that I will have him do some landscaping for me next spring.

I m not one to write reviews often, but in this case I may write two. After having lots of trouble with my snowblower, I called Jeff Brown and received a call back within the hour. After picking up my snowblower in a few days, I received a personal video detailing the problem with my snowblower. Jeff explained how it should work, why it isn t, and his solution, with cost. I approved right away, and a few days later he delivered the fixed snowblower. Yes, it was that quick. Jeff even used the snowblower on my terrace just to show that it s in tip top shape! We received such professional, quality customer service and treatment - Jeff Brown will be our go to person for any small engine repairs.

My snowblower was not starting, pull or electric start. It was beyond my understanding and YouTube skill set so I called Brown Equipment. Jeff came to the house, took it away for repair, and had it back within a week. Talked me through everything that needed repair and it was back to running like new. Will call for anything I need help with again, great knowledge and service!

I purchased my house in late December of 2020. The lawn consisted of dirt, weeds and old unmaintained shrubs (see Before picture). The following season I tried to restore the lawn myself. That didnt quite pan out like I thought it would so I hired Jeff Brown to fix my lawn in the fall of 2021. Jeff came up with a total restoration plan that included new dirt / compost mixture, heavy equipment, elbow grease and lots of sweating. All I was required to do when Jeff was done was to keep the new lawn watered. The end result is incredible (see After picture). Jeff was very prompt, easy to work with, responsive and honest with his assessment and pricing. He suggested we pull all the old shrubs out and replace with new ones. I had a generator that would not start. Jeff quickly diagnosed it as air in the gas line and had it running in no time. Jeff also performed a major overhaul of a 15+ year old Ariens snowblower. He was able to clean the carburetor, install a LED headlight, adjust the shute lever, replace the worm gear and weld metal to repair the damaged housing from the previous owner. Thanks Jeff!

Jeff was not only able to get it running in one afternoon, but showed me a thing or two on how to diagnose similar problems. I had a problem with my snowblower it would not start , I called Jeff at Brown Property and Equipment services on Saturday afternoon. He answered the phone and said he could probably pick it up that night or definitely on Sunday. He ended up picking it up that night and within a few hours diagnosed the problem and had an estimate ready with breakdown of the work and price .I agreed to the estimate and by Sunday he had the snowblower fixed and running great .
