Local Lawn and Landscape did an amazing job with our spring clean up and mulch installation. A team of 3 showed up and tackled a large overgrown patch, five heavily weeded garden beds and rampant grass along a paver path of our acre property. We are so happy with the results, and our neighbors appreciate that it looks like someone lives here again. 10/10 would recommend!

Horrible Horrible Horrible

I have used them for over two years. Last year I would have given them five stars, but this year, it is hard to get past 2. They butcher the lawn now and left clipping all over the yard last week. They still charged me for bagging, though. I complain, but they dont answer or return calls or emails. They actually told me once not to water my lawn too much because it will grow. Just waiting now so I can cancel if they ever call back.

Quality of workmanship is top-drawer. Responsive to requirements that are outside of contract with reasonable change-order costs. Joe is one of the most knowledgeable in the area and Ms. Dee in the office is like a well-machined gear, keeping it all moving!

Very efficient and thorough work. Pleased with end result!

I actually ended up buying the house that a 1 star reviewer owned. She was complaining about the gravel LLC installed around the pool, but I think it looks great haha. LLC has done a great job mowing my lawn for the past couple years, for a great price, and the owner is always very responsive if I have any issues. Im only knocking off one star because sometimes the guys can be overzealous, chopping down plants that arent weeds. But if you send pics to the owner, hell warn them not to touch those plants on future visits.

Called twice and left 2 messages. Never received a return phone call. Very unprofessional.

Great Mowing service at a fair price, but no consistency or set service period...and extremely difficult to contact when an issue arises. Technically I would still be a customer since I have never been notified of any cancellation, just kinda got ignored.

Joe has mowed my yard for two years and done an excellent job. Last year I had him dig 2 new large flower beds in the backyard and had him rip out all our front yard plantings and install new plants in the entire yard. He did a spectacular job at about 70% of the price of the two other bids I got. I trust Joe to do all of my yard work now and couldnt be happier.

These guys were great. They did a fantastic job on our lawn. Quick to schedule and when they got here it was like a tornado. One second my lawn was overgrown (our mower broke) and the worst looking on the block and ten minutes later they had cut edged and cleaned up our nearly half acre front and back yard. Poof! It was like magic... My husband looked at me after and informed me we arent fixing the mower. I couldnt argue, for the price I couldnt have asked for a better job.

We live in a new community with brand new homes. We have had Local Lawn Care and Landscaping lawn service for three months. Within this timeframe, they have ruined all our gutters and have been asked to replace them. Three months later and they have not completed the task. They say to contact them through their phone number or text when you hire them. Then when you have a concern after signing their contract, the phone and text messaging does not work and they only respond back to email. In addition, they collect money with lack of any customer service. The lawn care and landscaping motto is mow lawn every week, whether it is needed or not. The owner is so arrogant that he stated in an email that he does not need any more customers. We will make sure to follow his request and would encourage any customers looking for a lawn care service does not hire him, since he does not need any more customers. Horrible service and care for lawns, let alone people.

Local Lawn Care was prompt and quick. Also, they were quite reasonable price-wise. I definitely recommend giving them a try.

I had Joe come out to quote for some yard work. The quote was extremely reasonable and Joe was able to see exactly what I wanted done and gave me suggestions for things I didnt even think about. I will be switching all of my yard work to him after I saw his work (edging, mulching, general clean up). Thanks Joe!

Joe and his company worked with our schedule, answered all of our questions, and delivered and installed the mulch. Very satisfied.

Joe and his crew came to my house last Friday and did an excellent job mowing the lawn. Reasonable prices and agreeable to my schedule. Will use his business,but I wish that they would respond to phone calls and e-mails, though.

Horrifically bad customer service! I have called probably 15 times in the last three weeks, left messages most of the time, and have not once received a call back. In addition, I have received a couple of vague emails from Joe, in which he usually takes nearly a week to respond to each email that I sent him. I simply asked for a quote for aeration and detaching from my home in Aurora. I have asked him to send me a date that would work to schedule the service, and he will not respond. I am blown away by how a company like this manages to stay in business. Clearly they have no interest in increasing their clientele base. Im shocked at the fact that there are so many positive reviews. Something clearly took a turn for the worse with this company.

LLC has been a great service throughout this entire summer. However, they were scheduled to be at my house today for my fall cleanup. I had some confusion initially and was trying to cancel the service, but then when I understood that they had started the process 2-3 weeks ago, I tried emailing AND calling Joe to tell him I was sorry about the confusion and to proceed. He hasnt responded to any of our attempts at communication. A simple were not going to make it wouldve been enough. He still owes me 1 week of grass cutting! Which brings me to another point, the billing with this company needs some serious improvements. For the actual lawn work, it was just average law mowing. ***Joe contacted us and made things right by my husband and myself. They did an EXCELLENT job on the leaves! Thanks Joe and sorry about all the confusion!

I have had a great experience with Joe and his team- they did my lawn weekly last year. Joe had some useful ideas about things that would be helpful re the lawn. My experience was that his group was by far the most timely,organized, person I have ever had do my lawn care and I recommend him without reservation.

HACK JOB!! THE FLOWER BEDS were edged, thats about all that went right! They did not pull any weeds or grass, in the flower beds, instead they weed whacked them and covered them with mulch, mixing the weeds with the mulch. Joe and I exchanged emails regarding this exact subject and yet it still did not happen. They did my Fall clean up and forgot to remove pine needles from under 4 pine trees. Joe said theyd come back, but the never did. I gave them the opportunity to make good this Spring, and they failed miserably. They mulcehd 1 of the pines, but mulched over 2 seasons of pine needles. Joe said, we removed a lot of pine needles from your property, when in fact they removed NONE! The other 3 pines they didnt touch at all. They came back and cleaned them up, but then never mulched. This time Joe said they dont typically mulch under pines and they did not include that in the original estimate. WHAT?? Its not as if these are hidden pine trees, they actually take up most of my property and are visible from everywhere. I can only assuem they do not understand the purpose of mulch. There are many plants that still have thistles and dandelions in them. They mulched around 2 large patches of weeds, I can only assume they thought they were plants. I asked that they remove a patch of spearmint, they weed whacked it, which essentially does nothing but spur on quicker re-growth. FYI - I can tell this because the moisture from the plant is all over my siding. THE POOL - what a mess!! They quoted 10 bags of rock and emailed me stating they will need to get 14 more bags to finish around the pool and the large area by the deck. I agreed without much of a fuss. They pulled up the over grown grass and I found it all over the back of my property in a low muddy area, as if it would grow back like sod. Again, I was told they removed a lot of yard waste from my property, Im beginning to think they really removed none at all. The rock made it around 75% of the circumference of the pool, but not the large area by the deck. So 75% of the pool area was completed and then I get an invoice for completed work..... I emailed Joe and he told me to pay the invoice and they will come back and finsih the rest. WHAT??? I have submitted numerous pictures to Joe, and also his wife, yes he had her send me an email saying he had a family emergency. There is no excuse for this poor quality of work, yet I heard every one in the book. They will no longer return my emails and never returned my phone call. How can you stay in business doing this kind of work? Shameful!

Joe came by to give us an estimate to install a vegetable garden, while he was here he also estimated a few projects around our yard that we would like to have done in the Spring including redoing extensive beds with mulch. Joe was prompt, friendly and professional. The quote he had for laying a 16 X 16 garden was 425 plus an additional 100 for adding compost to the soil. He allowed me and my wife to purchase the landscaping timbers and rebar needed to enclose the garden. He also quoted 850 to mulch a large amount of beds we have in the yard (our yard is a third of an acre with long beds down both sides and around the house), this is nearly 500 less than what I had been previously quoted. I will be calling them to redo the beds next spring.
