Incredibly kind and caring people. I called to cancel service on my driveway. Always have been happy with the service, but I was injured at work and needed surgery. I explained that was going to be off work for a extended period of time and needed to cut back on expenses. They called me back and told they were going to continue service, stop billing, and told me just call whenever I went back to work. Both Connie and another lady(I didnt write down her name) were amazingly kind. I will be a client for life and refer them every chance I get.

All workers did great job on redoing our drainage in a very clogged backyard, so impressed with all the work done. Only snafu was they they cut our fiber cable and I wasn t sure how to get a hold of anyone from their office but our cable company came out same day and the Ware team buried most of the new line. The only thing I would suggest is keeping up with communication pre-work and post-work, thanks

Homeowner BEWARE! Shame on you Mike. After he gets your deposit you won t hear from him unless you threaten lawyers or ask for a refund on your deposit. We signed our contract in May, and we were promised 1st or 2nd week in August start. We asked for a refund early October, which mike refused to give to us. Overcharged us. Forgot he gave us quotes in the past, and messed with the numbers to make it fit how much he wanted to charge. We FINALLY got him to start the project on October 26th (we remember because we had a baby two days later) it then snowed and stopped the project. They came back roughly a week later. Our neighbor stopped the project due to water concerns from the trenches they created - so in his defense, in theory, he would ve been completing the project if it wasn t for said neighbor. Once we got the all clear from the city 11/19, Ware landscaping has come back once. We have had several days 40s and sunny. Mike promised Mon 12/2, on Thur 12/5 we called them and Wendy stated they would be here Mon 12/9. On Fri 12/13, Wendy called to say two crews would be at our house any minute, four hours later only one crew worked for 90mins. We are left with a pile of gravel in the middle of our driveway and busted cement in our backyard, left over pavers at the side of our house, incomplete walkway to our front door with pavers thrown all over the place. No sod that we were promised. We have a dog, 2 toddlers and a newborn; imagine leaving your newborn crying while wiping your dogs muddy paws. This is the nightmare that Ware Landscaping has created. Now, they re rejecting our phone calls, we are only left with taking legal action. Save yourself. Run.

I called Ware Landscaping after the corner of my backyard by my shed consistently flooded with any rain. Mike came out, walked my yard, and showed me a plan to resolve my water issue. His team came to my house and did a fantastic job putting in the drainage system and covering with sod. My yard looks great and it has rained hard several times since the work was completed but not a hint of flooding. I am so relieved as this water issue had been bothering me for years. With a swift return, their team removed all the sod and the gravel/limestone underneath and filled with dirt and resodded. It looks exponentially better than the first go-around. Their cleanup also met our expectations. They offered a spring cleaning as appreciation for the opportunity to make things right and we truly appreciate it. Thank you. 5/9/24 UPDATE: Ware Landscaping saw my review and reached out to make it right which we genuinely appreciated. We explained where they fell short and they promptly scheduled the work to be revised. After my conversation with the owner my husband found another MAJOR issue. Part of the project was to remove a pea gravel path with limestone underneath and lay sod. My husband lifted the sod they laid to find that absolutely none of the gravel and limestone was removed and the sod was just laying on top with absolutely no hope of growing. We are absolutely fuming, disturbed, and quite frankly sad. 5/8/24: I ll start with the fact that communication with Ware Landscaping was nothing short of painful. Things started off optimistically but after their swift collection of 50% of the project I felt that I was ghosted. I played phone tag several times between a few different people trying to get an answer to when the project will start. Everyone seemed to point their finger at someone else leaving us answer-less and very nervous to continue on with the company. I will add that speaking with Wendy was very pleasant and helpful. We were eventually told that we would get a call the night before they plan to show up fair enough (I guess). The first round of people showed up at 10am with no one who could speak English. I was really hoping to go over the project before they started tearing up my yard. Well, they got to work and a few hours in it started pouring rain. They worked through the torrential downpour until the lightening started and they took cover (as they should!). However, as they worked through the rain, they created an absolute swamp of a mess. I would have much rather they take the day and return the next to avoid swamping up my entire yard front to back. Needless to say, we are still cleaning up the mess they left due to the mud pit created. There is also a slew of landscaping rocks throughout the yard that we are having to pick up individually to avoid issues when mowing. They seemed extremely rushed and the job is ehh, not great. The sod was laid in such a sloppy way that we are needing to go back in and lay grass seed. All in all, I m disappointed.

Mike put me on his schedule for yard cleanup this spring while my mower was in the shop. His team did a great job trimming the bushes, cleaning up the branches and debris that accumulated over the winter, mowing the grass, and picking up the clippings to help keep the dandelions from spreading. The place never looked better.

Ware installed an entire French drain system around the perimeter of our home to help prevent flooding that we had unfortunately been dealing with. Our project was certainly extensive and they worked so hard to make sure we have ease of mind. We really felt that Ware cared about our situation and designed the best solution to help us. Used then 2 years ago for a shed base, sod, and river rock. My backyard south side had mulch as grass didnt grow that went under the fence. Old garden not used that wouldnt grow grass, and borders with white rock and plants not touched in years. Mike suggested replacing all with sod. Looks amazing.

I have to say that Ware and their staff were so helpful with our problem. It seems that in IL is very common for basements to flood due to the amount of rain and rivers nearby. Being from LA and having droughts, I freaked out the moment I saw water pouring into my basement. It had a simple solution according to Mike when he came to see what was happening, in deed, he was right on point. We simply needed a French draining system and redoing the landscape on the side of the house. Ware has fixed one of my biggest nightmares whenever God sent the pouring rains our way to flood the basement. They did this in a matter of a day and with lots of patience with me freaking out constantly while getting the city here to map out where every pipe was. They also did not overcharge like other companies. I would hire them again in a heartbeat as well as recommend them to everyone I can.

Ware Landscaping was out for an estimate within 1-2 days. I did select them due to the fact that none of the 5 other companies I contacted bothered to return my call. Ware Landscaping was out on Thursday, I signed the contract on Friday, utilities were marked on Saturday, a heavy rain took place Monday and they were here first thing on Tuesday. About 75% of my rear yard was stripped of its dead or dying sod, top soil was spread and the sod was starting to be installed. On Wednesday the balance of the sod was installed and I was able to start watering that afternoon. Nice job of removal and the replacement with a high quality bluegrass sod. So far so good a week later. Feel free to select Ware Landscaping for your landscaping needs. You wont be disappointed.

Ware Landscaping did a FANTASTIC JOB!!! I needed my entire backyard regraded and they filled it in with more than 2 truck loads, installed a French drain and put new beautiful green sod on top. They also power washed and reset my front retaining wall. Communication from the beginning was always very good. We always knew when they were coming out. The project was completed on time as well. They also called on their own a month after the project to check on the sod and were willing to replace some spots due to the June heat wave. Would recommend Ware Landscaping to all!!!

We have had a pretty bad water problem at our home since moving in a few years ago. Our sump pump runs constantly and needed help. Mike Ware and his team created a plan and executed it to perfection. We ended up with regrading of our entire property and French drains around the entire house, in addition to other drains. With the first heavy rain we had no more than a slow trickle in our sump pump. Incredible work! In addition they re-sodded our entire yard and it looked great from day one. WARE LANDSCAPING & SNOW REMOVAL I am writing this brief review because of the fantastic experience we had with Ware Landscaping, Inc. For weeks me and my sons tried to resolve an issue dealing with water seepage in our garage. It was not resolved until I contacted Ware Landscaping. Our experience from project review, contracting and job completion was way beyond our expectation! Mike Ware and his organization from top to bottom was terrific to work with. They not only completed the job of installing a French drain over 100 feet. They did it without cutting any of the electrical wires or water lines for our sprinkler system and connected 4 gutter down spots including 1 of our neighbors into the system. This prevented water backup above the garage foundation and seeping through the foundation and first layer of brick and mortar for the garage. Throughout the project his crew was very respectful in answering all our questions and if they did not have answers, they had a supervisor come out to do so. We are ecstatic about the outcome of our project and the garage no longer has water seepage. We are very grateful to Mike and his whole team for the job well done! TM

I contracted with Ware for snow removal service a couple years ago and have had a great experience, so wanted to finally review here. Having had several different companies provide this service over the 13 years weve been in Naperville, Ware has been the most reliable and the least likely to damage something while doing the job. They also do a great job of making sure the walkways and driveway stay salted and dont ice up. If the crew ever started missing an area, such as by our side door, a quick email or phone call usually got it back on track for the next trip out. Would highly recommend!

From start to finish, Ware Landscaping was absolutely worth it. In the two years we ve been in our home, we ve had serious yard drainage issues that caused our basement to flood. I met with 4 other companies to get feedback on solutions and estimated costs, but Mike (the owner) impressed me the most by far. He was very nice, informative, and the only person who not only advised us on a French drain installation, but also recommended re-grading our yard to help ease the flow of water away from our house. Ware was able to start less than 2 weeks after agreeing on the job and finished over the course of 4 days. Greg, the project manager, checked in with me each day to update me on their progress and ensure I was happy with the results. He was super helpful in making sure everything was completed exactly as I requested and then some. The level of detail provided by all the workers was unmatched; our lawn is basically custom cut and sewn together to be an exact fit and not a single leaf was left out of place when they were gone. I m so happy we decided to go with Ware, it was well worth the investment!

We had Ware landscaping out last week to install drainage and re-grade/sod our entire yard. The objective was to resolve an issue with our yard flooding at least 6 times a year. Mikes crew was polite, worked neatly and trenched almost the entire perimeter of our yard BY HAND!!!! These guys dug through roots from mature 60-year-old landscaping and under a fence without tearing it out. They clearly knew what they were doing, and worked meticulously on the pitch for the drainage throughout the job. Their trenching was done neatly, with tarps laid down beside the trench for the dirt to be placed on. The grading and sod were done very well. The last few days of sod work were done in the rain - these guys just didnt stop. Weve now got a beautiful yard - we just need a few inches of rain to test the new drainage! Mike and his crew were great to work with. Very easy to communicate with. Mike is very personable - the guy youd want living next door to you. This was a great transaction. Would definitely do business with Ware Landscaping again. October 21 - we still haven t gotten a torrential rain but here s a few new pix showing the finished product in the front yard. We moved into a newly constructed home and wanted to build a nice functional stone patio. Was given a referral for Ware Landscaping by a friend and called to set up an appointment. We were pleased to get a prompt call back by none other than the owner of the company and had our first on site meeting with him (Mike) the very next day. He showed up on time and immediately impressed us with his willingness to listen and to observe what we were interested in doing with the project. His experience really came to light when he offered positive and constructive feedback & ideas to us at the design meeting. He and his company have the technology to create and distribute design ideas and cost proposals quickly. In a very short time, we had our design on paper and detailed quote for materials and services to be expected. I can t recall the names of the actual workers I interacted with and observed, but every one of them was hardworking and focused on getting the work done with care, precision and efficiency. If you are looking for a dedicated and local Naperville contractor to assist with your paver patio, Mike and his group should be considered. They are very experienced, very knowledgeable and versed in all the different concrete stone manufacturers. Best landscaping company ever! Greg literally changed my life. I cant believe the job they did on my backyard! Gave them the blueprints for what I wanted to accomplish and within a matter of days, my landscaped portrait of the late great Ham the Chimp was complete. I was so impressed with their professionalism and patience with me...I have been to several landscapers in pursuit of this project and was told I was being unreasonable or aggressive in my vision. From the first phone call to plan an estimate which was answered by Connie, the initial design and estimate by Mike, to the completed project and final walk-thru by the operations manager Greg everything was 100 percent professional. Had their crew come out and install a new sump pump drain and sod the front yard along with a tree removal. The team arrived and knew what the job was, and immediately got to work that afternoon. They knew what to do, and quickly got it done even as we were collaborating on improvements from the original plan. Very professional crew working to get it done, and stayed late on the second day to make sure it was completed on time. Already discussing our next yard project to use Ware again, as we know itll get done right.

We had a wooden deck for a front porch that was starting to age. When we removed it we saw that there was a concrete slab underneath it that was pitched toward our house, creating an issue with standing water up against our foundation. We had Mike come by to advise us on the best solution, and he suggested permeable pavers. We were able to come up with a custom design with him that day. The crew was fast, friendly, and tidy. We recently bought a new house and were starting the process of selling our old house. For the new house the sump pump was set up to discharge in to the yard a few feet from the house. The sump pump seemed to always run every hour or so. I wanted to get as much water away from the house as possible as I do not want to deal with a flooded basement ever. Ware landscaping installed a full drainage system for my house. They connected all my roof down spouts and my sump pump discharge to underground drainage pipes and tied them to the storm line running behind my property to move as much water away from my house as possible. Needless to say a few months later and all the rain we ve had this summer so far, I ve noticed a huge change in how often my sump pump kicks off since we are now moving a majority of the water away from my new house and its foundation. At the same time as we were getting the drainage improved at our new house, Ware Landscaping helped me with preparing my old house for sale. They installed some new bushes around the house, mulch and new sod to clean up the landscaping beds. They completed all the yard work at my old house in one day and just in time for pictures! It would have taken me all summer for the work they completed. Also, (and I understand the housing market was crazy late spring/ early summer) but my old house had a record number of showing that first weekend and it sold in a day. Ware Landscaping is great! We are having them come back to complete some more work at our new house in preparation for a new fence for our yard and a walkway from the back garage door to the driveway. We bought a home last year in which the previous owners loved to garden, and devoted at least 30% of the backyard to plants / foliage, invasive (aggressive) climbing vines and ground cover, with lumpy and patchy grass where there were open areas. After berried plants started invading the grass area in the summer and a $400 visit to the vet, we realized it was not safe for our dog to be left out back alone anymore until we could eliminate all the unknowns and potentially harmful plants growing back there. Ware Landscaping had the best price and timeline from quotes acquired and did a great job renovating our back and front yard: removed all the overgrown plants including decades sunken old pavers lined around all the beds, buried the all our downspouts including a French drain for sump, then regraded and installed new sod and plants in front of house. It s great to have a blank slate and a backyard that s safe for our dog and child for many years to come!

Ware Landscaping rerouted our gutter downspout drainage for all downspouts around our house. I am not sure what the technical name for what they did is, but they did an amazing very clean and professional Job. They had to re-route under the sidewalk into the main street water drain which was not the easiest thing to do. They cleaned up everything and put down new sod where the grass needed to be taken up. When we contacted Mike, he immediately set up a same day Zoom appointment to talk about the project and give us an estimate. Not only did Mike put us on the schedule right away, he managed to get the job accomplished before our scheduled move date, just like he said he would. Mike personally showed up on the first day of work to talk us through the project. Ware landscaping did a huge drainage project for me last summer. I have purposely not written a review until the passing of Winter with snow melting and the rains of early Spring to really know the outcome. I could not be more pleased. The issue of having a soggy, marshy mess on the side of my home and the small pond developing in my backyard have ceased. Seeing how hard they worked digging trenches and laying drainage pipe was humbling. This I knew last summer. However, the results really showed when the issues I have lived with for years have gone. Thanks to Mike and his team for a great job done. I recommend Ware Landscaping for your drainage issues.

Installed french drains in rear. Did amazing job regrading installing drains and sodding along rear of yard. Looks amazing. Was very easy working out the project great communication up until closing sale. Very happy they were able to get me done quickly during the quarantine. Few issues after job none were regarding rear yard which way main job. Again rear looks great. Smaller/medium issues were initially started digging trench on wrong side of house. Which was poorly sodded over changing natural flow of water to storm drain Ended up changing initial plan for front gutters. Which if i knew about i would have payed have had them add drains along front as well. They ran solid drain to a pop up 6 inches from drain not cored into storm drain... Again would have paid more for that. They accually did 2 pop ups inches from storm drains and only cored into drain at one spot. Back to front they did poor job sodding just that trench line which let to flooding on both sides of new high sod which blocked natural flow of water. Not to mention sodded around the storm drains causing more yard flooding. Also had survey flags for property line i reminded them and pointed them out multiple times at time of project. yet i still had to pull up sod from neighbors yard on both sides. They sodded both my neigbors yard completely surrounding both our shared storm drains lol. Also never got answer for why 2 of my downspouts did not have leaf guard catch basins installed. They did all but 2 which was my understanding that all would be done. I tried to reach out to mike who was very easily reachable before sale for advice never heard back. i was willing to pay to core to drains or add french drain in front. So i ripped up the sod causing flooding in front. I removed all the sod blocking the drains which helped keep our front and neighbors yard from flooding. So missing 2 catch basins,. And better communication on drain coring and front yard woulda helped. Main project was rear yard and it is amazing no standing water and diffrence is night and day. Was very good at working out deal And got work done quickly. I would recommend just ask alot of question and have them notify you if something changes. Also make sure mike comes back out after the job. He never came back out after job. Im not sure i will use again considering i am still waiting to hear back on tips on front yard flooding. Coulda been another sale for him. Super nice guy really enjoyed doing business with him hoped i could have used him to redue whole yard down the road.

Mike and his crew did a great drainage project on our Naperville house in late 2019. I did not write a review until last weekends rain deluge. The project handled all that rain without any problems. The sod that they added is growing great. The irrigation system and the underground wires for the outside lighting function terrific. So glad we had it done.

Mike is easy to work with - gave suggestions to curing drainage problems plus enhancing landscaping. His crew is hard-working. The new sod is seamless!

Ware did a nice job on fixing drainage issues in my back yard. What used to be a swamp after a hard rainfall is now a nicely sodded yard with excellent drainage. Additionally, Ware made good on some patio adjustments from the previous year.

We hired Mikes company to install a drainage system in our front and back yards. We had to put the project off almost a year and Mike was very flexible in scheduling. Once we said it was time to go, they were out within a week during their busy season. The crew was professional and polite and cleaned up the work site every day. We were very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them.

I hired Ware to resolve some serious drainage and standing water issues around my house. Have not had significant rainfall to assess at present, however, in the short term it is working very well. Unlike the other landscape companies he actually took time to explain what was wrong. He put together a solution and the crew came out as promised. Our back yard is beautiful but flooded after any rain. The previous owners did not reroute the gutters away from the house. The Ware s placed a large system of drain tiles and a French drain system in our 1/2 acre, wooded, backyard. They were ahead of schedule, UNDER budget, and kept us updated every step of the way. My father in law is a retired sewer and water contractor and, fwiw, approved of their plans and quality of work. I HIGHLY recommend their services.

I am so happy my friend referred me to Ware Landscaping! I was getting water in my basement every time there was more than a light rain. I had waterproofing done and there were multiple places I would still get water. Michael came out, knew how to fix my drainage problem and the crew did an amazing job in my yard! Looked better than before they started. It has been over 2 years and I have only had a small amount of water once! I needed to move water away from my foundation to resolve some seepage and was thinking about doing the project myself. Instead, I chose Ware Landscaping for my French Drain project. First, Mike knew exactly what needed to be done, and his quote was fairly priced compared to 4 other quotes. On top of that, I like that he uses professional grade drain tiles, not the same as what I could have bought from the big box stores. If your looking for a landscaping company that you can trust, I would highly recommend you start here. Second, his team did a great job and completed the project in a little more than a day. They extended the amount of sod to more than just the area that was dug up. Overall I am very happy with the end result. Bring on the rain!

We used Ware Landscaping & Snow Removal for snow removal services for our 8 unit condo building in Chicago last year. Our experience with them thus far has been wonderful. Mike has been incredibly responsive - ranging from email responses for contract quotes to minor service request changes (a small request we made in regards to how salt was applied). The snow removal has been prompt, professional, and timely. Weve renewed our contract this year and I look forward to working with them more in the future. Highly recommended!

Christmas Lights EDIT: After my initial review the company has since been in contact with us. They were very apologetic for the delays and non responsiveness. They made it up in spades by making sure to come out very quickly and also toss in a few extras for us. Our house looks amazing and very happy with how it turned out. They for sure made me a little more confident in our 3 year agreement. Thanks again Ware! Old Review: This company may be amazing at both landscaping and snow removal, to that I do not have experience. But when it comes to holiday lighting so far my experience is less than Meh. They were super responsive in helping us with a basic lighting design and quote. They got us a 3 year contract (per them standard for pricing) drafted up and we signed and paid the 50% deposit on 10/28. At the time we signed we were told they would be up the week prior to Thanksgiving. Here we are a full week post Thanksgiving, no lights also no communication on the delay. My wife got the invoice for the 2nd half of the first year term and unfortunately she felt that was the hold up and paid. Mistake on our part. I do realize this is a super small part of their business and delays happen. My poor review is more around the customer service and lack there of. Lastly, this is with their Naperville office so the Chicago office may be solid. Well, I guess its time to go grab the Grinch cut out and a strand of lights and call it a day, that and wallow in the lost money.

We have been happy customers of Ware landscaping for many years! Mike s crew have always provided excellent lawn care services. Our lawn is always cut and maintained beautifully. Mike is very personable and provides great customer service. We recently had them install Christmas lights and they did a beautiful job.

Ware did a drainage system around our house around 3 years ago. Our yard was always soggy and our basement had gotten water in it once. Their drainage system has worked great. Our yard and basement stay nice and dry. We would definitely use them again!

In June and July of 2019, Mike completed a huge backyard drainage project for us. We live in a flood plain, and the entire neighborhood drains into our backyard. After every rain, a pond would form in our backyard and be there for several days (see first two pictures). One morning, we woke up after a rain and actually had ducks swimming in our backyard. We called several landscaping companies in the area and, after coming out and examining our yard, the response was that they couldnt do it, we would need to talk to the city to get the drainage fixed. When Mike came over, he immediately new how to fix the problem and he was excited to fix it. What I liked best about Mike is that he is passionate about landscaping. His passion is reflected in his dedication and the dedication and professionalism of his crew. They built a large drainage moat, several french drains, a massive dry well big enough to stand in, and installed an external sump pump so the storm water could be pumped directly into to city storm drain. We have had several large rains since, some where our street flooded, but our yard stayed dry. The last picture is our yard after a particularly heavy rain. This was a very large landscaping project and we are very glad we trusted Mike and Ware Landscaping to complete this job for us.

Mike and the team from Ware Landscaping were absolutely wonderful to work with on our backyard project. We moved into our house in the Fall of 2018 and quickly realized that there were drainage issues that were turning our backyard into a pond any time it rained. We contacted Ware for a bid and they were quick to come out and offer us a solution that would create the backyard of our dreams. The finished results were night and day from where we started - our lawn is beautiful and the French drain has completely solved the issue of standing water. We really appreciated the honest communication regarding the timeline for work to start and be completed - in a world of instant results, Mike and the office staff at Ware were upfront with the lead time for our project and kept in touch with us as our time approached. They had our job done in the timeframe they quoted us and followed up with us frequently to make sure the work they had done was meeting our expectations and functioning properly. I would recommend Ware Landscaping to do your drainage and landscaping needs and issues. Mike is a man of his word and corrected a settling issue that occurred where drainage tile was buried and completed all work as promised. He does not quit until the customer is happy. His people are perfectionists.

Ware Landscape & Snow Removal service does good work! They installed a drainage system that performed well. I asked Michael for additional drains and they did a good job having them installed as well. We also use Ware for snow removal which works out well.

Ware landscaping was an absolute Godsend. My fiancee and I were planning a wedding and trying to figure out how to make it cost efficient. We decided to do it in my parents enormous backyard. What we didnt realize on the outset was how much work was needed to get the outdoor space wedding ready. That is exactly how Ware Landscaping fit into our big day. Their crew spent dozens of hours over the weeks leading up to our wedding turning our cow patch into a fantastic landscape reminiscent of a country club. The owner, Michael Ware, personally made sure the work was meticulously neat. Several times I tried to take care of costs associated with the amazing transformation and Mike told me we could take care of it when the job was completed satisfactorily. The week of the wedding, I went out to talk with Mike as he was putting the finishing touches on everything. I made sure to tell him how great the backyard looked and how impressed we were with the complete transformation that had taken place. When I asked how much we owed him, he replied by telling me that I didnt owe him a penny and that the work done was a wedding gift! My wife and I couldnt believe it!! My boyfriend and I recently had Mike Ware out to our home to quote us on some work we would like done on our backyard. We set up the appointment and I was a bit concerned about meeting with Mike on my own, only because as a woman I feel sometimes I am not treated with the same respect as a man might get. I had absolutely nothing to be concerned about! I can not say enough good things about this company, Mike was respectful, professional and very knowledgeable, he answered all my questions and gave us a very prompt and reasonable quote. My wife and I contacted Ware Landscaping for a quote to remedy a drainage issue we had on the side of our house. We had a very rainy spring and early summer, and our new large capacity gutters and downspouts, together with our sump pump pipe had significantly increased the amount of water volume coursing through our mulch bed, and side yard, creating a watery mess, with more mud than grass, including the side walk, creating a slipping hazard. I had tried various home remedies with only limited success. In essence we needed to get a large amount of water as far away from the house as possible. Mike came out quickly to give us a quote to tie in the sump pump PVC pipe to the downspouts underground, and route it to the city storm sewer. Fortunately we live on a corner, with an opening easily accessible. In Naperville, it is possible to tie in to the storm sewer underground with a permit. We also contracted with Ware to replace the damaged grass with shade tolerant sod, which we needed due to significant mature tree canopy. Mikes team got to work on September 3rd, and did a fantastic job. It was a large team, and they worked efficiently to get the job done in one day. They cleaned everything up, and the side yard looks better than ever. The shade tolerant sod is taking very well, and at his advice, we did reduce the canopy somewhat. We plan to have Ware replace the rest of the front yard sod next spring. Mike is easy to work with, honest, and charges a fair price. This wasnt cheap work, but good work doesnt come cheap. We researched a number of companies to perform underground drainage for our new house. Ware Landscaping was by far the best option and we are very satisfied with our choice. Mike came out and walked us through the proposal. With the exception of some paperwork that needed to be filed with the village that slowed us down a bit, everything went smoothly. They showed us the progress each day, let us ask questions to understand the details, and even came back for a few extra hours to ensure the job was completely done. We hired Mike and Ware Landscaping to put Christmas lights on our home. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!! His team did a great job putting them up and taking them down. They were courteous and respectful of our home and of the amount of noise they made up on the roof. My two infant children slept through the whole thing! We were so happy with Mike that we also hired him to do our landscaping work. It was a big job and he was wonderful with suggestions and offing advice on what kind of plants and drainage to use. I filled out the contact form on Ware Landscapings website and heard back from someone within an hour. They were out a few days later (it would have been sooner but I called the week of Memorial Day), and I signed them on that day. They were out relatively quickly and did an amazing job with my lawn. Im very happy I found them.

Mike and his team did an excellent job installing a drainage system in our backyard. He went above and beyond replacing the sod in the front of our house as well. Once the work commenced the job was completed promptly and professionally.

We are really pleased with our new drainage system and landscaping-it looks fab. Work crew were friendly and very hardworking. I think it is fair to say that we had a few issues with communication between paying a deposit and him answering some queries we had about the work. However, when we found out that our work would be done the very next day we were thrilled. We spoke with Mike and explained that not hearing from him for a few weeks was worrying. Mike - please be more attentive to your customers and return calls/reply to emails! We do hope he takes the constructive feedback since his work is first class! All s well that ends well. Mike and his crew have been doing my snow/landscaping for a few years now. They removed all my old landscaping and installed a beautiful new perennial garden as well as other bushes and shrubs around the property. Not knowing much about it I trusted them to make it look good and It came out better than I expected. The next year they did a beautiful paved patio with a gas fire pit for me and again didnt disappoint! Mike stands behind his work and really cares about the finished product! We have used Ware Landscaping now at both of my houses. The first we needed to remove an above ground pool with rocks and pavers along the sides and back fill then re sod the empty space. They were prompt, affordable and did a fantastic job. You cannot tell there was ever a pool there!! The second was a month ago they removed a bunch of trees and debris from my yard. Again backfilled with dirt and sod. His team took a couple days to complete and they cleaned up when they were done and the yard looks amazing! Highly recommend Ware Landscaping!!

I called up Ware Landscaping based on the reviews I read online, and I am so glad that I did. My back, sides, and front yard were in serious need of an overhaul, which included planting trees, bushes and flowers, as well edging, mulching and sod. Mike met up with me and offered wonderful suggestions that I adoptes and am so glad I did - my yard is finally beautiful! Wares landscapers are work horses and they do an unbelievable job. I would keep in mind its a super busy season and Mike is the one doing all the housecalls, so be patient, he will always get to you. If not, the office will always help you out. A wonderful grass roots local company. So pleased to have met them and plan to work with them more in the future!

Ware Landscaping did a really excellent job on updating my dated yard. They put in a drainage system to address a troublesome waterlogged area, and resodded it after. I also had them reset and seal the patio, and fix my retaining walls. They were very detail oriented, and Mike came by twice a day to oversee the work and address concerns. I think they ended up going above and beyond my expectations. The reason I am taking off a star is that I initially spent a frustrating number of weeks waiting for them to give me a date on when my work would be scheduled. The company does seem to have trouble with scheduling and estimating, and it would do wonders for the overall experience if they keep their customers better informed on timeframes. All said though, I am very satisfied with the work they did.

Our experience with Mike and his crew was excellent. He personally took the time to plan and pick out items for our landscape, as well as personally overview the project. When all was said and done he even insisted on personally mowing our lawn again after the mowing crew. Clearly quality and service are top priorities. We will have them back for paver work in the future!

Ware Landscaping exceeded our expectations and revitalized our backyard. After years of erosion had pitched the paver patio toward the house and magnolia scale ruined several trees in our backyard and covered the pavers in black soot, we were unsure how to make our backyard habitable again on a limited budget. After several quotes from other landscaping companies (some 3x higher), Ware Landscaping convinced us that they could transform our backyard for a fraction of the price by resetting, cleaning and sealing our existing patio. While skeptical at first, our old patio stones (15+yrs old) now look brand new and we no longer have pooling water next to the house. In addition to removing the diseased magnolia trees and grinding the stumps, Ware Landscaping planted beautiful hydrangeas and lilacs in their place, giving our backyard a completely different, yet equally serene feel that is infinitely more manageable and at a lower cost. Our experience working with everyone at Ware - from the Owners, to the Workers was pleasurable, empathetic to our desires and efficient. We cant recommend Ware Landscaping enough.

Ware Landscaping did a great job doing snow removal for our condo building area two winters in a row thus far! On those cold and icy days, we especially appreciated the quick and reliable service when everyone was rushing to work and needed salt and shoveling on our stairs and back driveway area. The price was very fair considering the cost of this service in the city and the demand for snow removal and salting. I like how the services were set-up. I had my snow removed within 24 hours and the crew did a fantastic job. I am happy with the service.

I called last weekend with the first snowfall of the season. My email was returned within the hour and I received a phone call within three hours of contacting the company. ( a week later and I still have not heard from the other two companies I contacted). I spoke with Mike and he had my driveway and sidewalks free of snow by the next morning. This weekend, my snow was removed in the morning. Impeccable service!!
