Montano s Landscaping has just wrapped up a project to replace our patio. We are very happy with the final result. It s beautiful! It came out better than we had imagined. The crew did a wonderful job. They worked hard and they were careful with everything else on our property and they cleaned up after themselves every day. This is our 3rd job with Carlos and his crew. The first was in 2010 in the front yard and it still looks great today. We won t hesitate to use them again when we need another landscaping project.

Carlos and his team were fantastic to work with. He came up with a beautiful plan for our backyard. He listened to what we wanted, took our ideas into consideration, and developed a phenomenal landscaping plan to really elevate our backyard. It was a delight to work with Carlos and Amanda! They guided us through three iterations of a design for our back and side yards ... it was a big job that included a retaining wall, pavers and adding a water feature. They started when they said they would, their crew was professional, friendly and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. We could not be happier with how it all turned out ... we live on a golf course and often have golfers comment on how good our yard looks. The best thing about working with them is their sincere desire to make sure we were happy with everything. We are having them back to do some work in our front yard ... we would give them six stars out of five if we could. Very, very happy!

My previous front and back patios were in disrepair. I hired Montanos Landscaping to take the old pavers out and create a new outdoor living space for both spaces. Needless to say, he and his amazing team did an amazing job. Heres the thing, he wont be the cheapest quote in town, but the fact that he uses quality products, only takes on one job at a time, is highly communicative, responds quickly, and shows up on the job, personally, to inspect the completed work, is worth paying a little bit more. It was refreshing to work with someone who actually did what they said they were going to do, right from the start! My front patio is now a show stopper. I have received countless compliments from passing neighbors, and my back patio is simply a dream come true. I wouldnt hesitate to hire Montanos Landscaping for my further needs.

Carlos and his team completely transformed our backyard, making it accessible to my family which includes a wheelchair user. He put in a paver walkway and patio and landscaped the rest of my yard with trees and plants. I get compliments from all my neighbors as they walk by. Our project was plagued with permitting challenges but Carlos was with us every step of the way and created something even better than I imagined.

We had an excellent experience with this company. They cleaned up and reshaped our flower beds and filled in a depression in the backyard so our dogs can run around safely. Pricing was fair and communication was excellent. We look forward to working with this team again next year.

Carlos and his team have now transformed the landscaping and hard scape on two of our properties. Carlos and his crew designed and built us an absolutely gorgeous stonework patio and integrated low voltage lighting system. His design was beautiful and we had him build it exactly as designed, including color choices. The crew worked straight through to completion, demolishing and removing a large 17 year old deck and underlying old concrete patio through the finishing touches on integrated plantings and lawn restoration. They are not cheap, but you get what you at for. Our neighbors now tell us we have a million dollar backyard. Couldn t be happier and we are now in the early phase of working with them to do some serious work at our daughter s house.

Carlos heard our needs, designed a blue-sky plan as requested but then worked with us to scale it to fit within a defined scope and budget. We got Patio done with Montanos. I took quotes from multiple companies and Carlos gave me one of the best price. He was very professional and transparent with everything as part of the contract signing. His employees were also very friendly and they are always ready to answer any questions. Workmanship is amazing and I am glad I went with Montanos. Carlos dad is at site everyday helping other crew members. As part of the work doing the patio, there was some damage to the lawn due to the heavy vehicles they use but they took care of cleaning all that up and did overseeing before they closed the project.

We just completed a very large hardscape/landscape project with Carlos and we could not be happier! Carlos is one of the most honest and transparent people I have worked with to date. He created a beautiful space out of a muddy mess and was engaged in the process personally from start to finish. We had a few delays due to a company unrelated to Montano s in which Carlos and his crew helped us work through even though their job was technically done. I quoted out multiple companies to do the job and Carlos fell in the middle of the quotes but I chose him for his honest options and prompt communication and I am so happy I did.

We redid our entire yard end of summer last year and I hired Montanos solely based on all of the amazing feedback and reviews everyone gave about them. Carlos came out and met me last fall and I showed him some pictures of what my dream yard would look like. He saw my vision got to know the person I am (extremely picky) and gave me a yard that I still can t believe is mine. I had some issues at the beginning of my project, Carlos was out of the country and still called me from Spain to assure me everything would be taken care of. I have magnolia trees, 12 hornbeam trees that are going to make a living wall for privacy, hydrangeas, red chokeberrys, azaleas, boxwoods, viburnum, honeysuckle Kodiak orange...things I would of never thought of but look fantastic together. This man knows his stuff! We are still finishing up my project, but it is so beautiful so far and so me. I highly recommend them!!

I was extremely impressed with Carlos and the entire crew. His ideas for the space were so much more complete and thought out than any other proposal I received for this job. He presented a detailed proposal and drawing that helped me visualize his ideas. I was on the schedule and the job was complete within a couple of weeks of paying the deposit. My wife and I just bought a new town home. We needed some work done on our front patio. They did a great job. Carlos the owner, is very friendly, helpful and smart. Our HOA even asked us for the proper permits and Carlos had everything they asked for ahead of time. All of the workers wore masks and cleaned up after themselves perfectly. My wife and I had a brief consultation with Montanos this morning. In our discussion, he actually helped us realize a stamped concrete might look nicer against our brick house than pavers. Stamped concrete isnt even a service they provide. So, even though well have to look elsewhere, I really appreciate that this company genuinely cares about how your space will look, and not just winning more work.

After 10 years of living in our house and doing update after update, we finally decided it was time to invest in our landscaping. Montanos was recommended to us and we could not have had a better experience. They were incredibly professional, thorough, and responsive. We are an active family without a lot of time to spend caring for landscaping, and so I requested nice, but easy maintenance flowers and greenery and they delivered. They created a gorgeous flow to our front yard, and explained their reasoning for what they chose to do, and made it work within the budgetary restrictions we gave them. We worked with a few landscaping companies this year , both among top rated. After getting the backyard regraded and new grass seed put in, a small part of the yard began to sink. When we contacted Carlos about this his team came out right away and fixed it and seeded parts that were having trouble growing that we didn t even ask about. For those reasons, in addition to quality work-responsiveness and making it right with no hassle, we would absolutely choose his team for any future work.

I needed to add parkway trees and I did not know the process very well. Carlos helped through it all and I am hoping my trees turn out healthy next spring and summer. He was very prompt in communicating as well. He is a very nice man.

Carlos is an amazing person to work with. All I knew was that I wanted a fire pit put in my back yard. We have used Montanos Landscaping for a number of projects at our new home. Carlos and his team have always exceeded expectations and their design and installation of plantings and hardscape is professional and of the highest quality. Montanos most recent work at our house included design and installation of a new stone front entrance and an expansion of a back patio with bluestone pavers (real stone), including new walls and steps. Wow is it elegant and of the highest quality. The guys are perfectionists and can handle any construction issue. I would add that Montanos prices are very competitive and you are getting high-end design and quality.

We recently bought our home in Naperville and knew we would need to put a lot of work into the landscaping - it caused a lot of stress not even knowing where to begin. Thankfully, we reached out to Montanos. Carlos came over and, like the expert he is, was able to quickly help us decided where to start and what would work best within our budget. He and his team were then able to come over and bury our sump pump discharge, bury our gutter downspouts, add a ton of sod to our backyard as well as cut down two trees that blocking the house/yard from getting more natural light. The team was professional, efficient, fast and, most of all, really good at what they were doing. I wont use another service (and thats why were having them come back to do our driveway/install a brick patio)

From the beginning Carlos has been great to work with honest and straightforward, he told us exactly what he would do and was up front with how much it would cost. We asked Carlos to come out to our house to prepare a landscape plan because my wife and I had no idea of how to make things look right. Carlos talked with my wife, took the measurements and said he would come up with a plan. About a week or so later, Carlos came back and blew us away with his ideas. He walked us through the entire plan on his iPad and described each and every plant he planned to use. The plan was perfect for our property. We were a bit shocked on the price, but Carlos was willing to modify the plan to fit our budget. About 2 weeks later Carlos and his team showed up and attacked our pretty wild front yard. The entire crew was so friendly and helpful. They got the entire project done in one day. Carlos was there for a good part of the day to make sure the job was going well and to handle any issues that arose. Whenever my wife came up with an idea or suggestion, Carlos took the time to work it into the design plan if at all possible. We couldnt be happier with the finished project. The front yard is even better than we could have imagined. In the end, the final project came in on time, on budget and exceeded our expectations. What more could you want from a landscape design firm?

Without a doubt Montano Landscaping are the very best. Very professional, reliable, clean and reasonably price. Now I am not the smartest person when it comes to picking out and designing patios and landscaping, but they did a detailed 3-d image design for me so I could see what it really would look like. There beautiful landscape and patio design really enhanced my home. All the neighbors and passerbys stop and tell my how nice everything looks and the wish more people would do the same thing. There was only one problem I had with them. They told we I would have one of the best patios and backyards in the Carillon Club. Well I think they lied because to me I have the very best patio and backyard in the Carillon Club and so do my neighbors. I am looking now to do my front yard and I will be definitely calling them for the job.

Consulted Carlos after many quotes and were never happy with the consult. Carlos arrived on time and was very patient explaining. He returned after 2 weeks with plans and very relaxed discussion of options. Very happy and so pleased. His workers and crew are top notch. Carlos also stays on top of the newest products out there and was able to recommend and use a new pervious jointing sand that isnt messy like the granite chips normally used.
