I have employed JA Landscaping on several big projects...cleaning up my acreage and cleaning out 2 -3000 sq. ft.bldgs and a basement. In all respects, they have done an incredible job! Plus, the co. employees are very helpful and easy to work with. They have also done irrigation work for me, with both landscaping and an olive orchard. I highly recommend them!

I would give 10 stars if I could!! Josh and his team are fantastic. We have done two projects with them, and both experiences have exceeded our expectations. This is a professional crew, that shows up on time, communicate, works hard, and is a joy to work with. I appreciate their attention to detail and their willingness to always accept my "can I add one more thing to your list?"! Josh is an expert - he has deep knowledge, is responsive, is a great problem solver, and clearly communicates the timelines and budgets - and meets them! I cannot recommend them enough.
Wow!!! We recommend Joshua Alexander and his team at JA Landscaping and Hauling in the STRONGEST (and most enthusiastic!) terms!! Our backyard was in dire need of attention, but the recent rains and new deck installation really put it in its worst condition. We put off the project thinking it would be a multiweek ordeal, but we were so wrong! We called Joshua and within a couple of days we had a plan and a detailed estimate! Even more stunningly, the project would only take his team 3-4 days, thanks to his large and diligent team. They dug up and hauled out all of our old grass and mulch, graded the whole yard for drainage, brought in new sod, reinstalled our sprinkler and irrigation system, brought in and poured gravel, dug up three trees, planted olive trees and new lavender, and reworked our gutter drainage. All in 3.5 days!! They were efficient, hardworking, arrived every day with a plan and completion goal. The team left the workspace clean everyday, always sure to close all gates/fences, etc (pet owners know the importance of this!). They even hauled the portable restroom away OFF-SITE everyday!!! What!?! So cool. The speed at which they get the job done will undoubtedly stun you. Throughout the entire process, Joshua communicated with us 100%. He kept us in the loop— we always knew what the job would cost, what went to labor and materials, when the team would arrive, what issues they ran into, how they solved it! I’m hurriedly trying to design our front yard so I can book the team again before word gets out further! :P Fantastic work, fair and transparent pricing. I’d give 6 stars if I could.
Josh was very professional and came to my house the same day to give me an estimate. Josh and his crew did a great job removing plants and trees from my yard. They got the job done in one day and kept me updated on everything. I would definitely recommend his company for landscaping needs!

Why am I recommending Josh Alexander (JA Landscaping & Hauling)? The reasons are numerous. He is courteous, dependable, a great communicator, skilled and knowledgeable. He does what he says he will do. He doesn’t rush through a job, but gives careful consideration to every step of the process, plus he will go extra mile for you. His crew is great, too. I hired Josh to re-do our front yard landscape to make it water-wise. I wanted a dry creek bed and drought tolerant plants. He did a magnificent job on the creek bed - it looks AMAZING! He was able to get all the plants I wanted which took some extra effort on his part, but he was happy to do it. If you are looking for a landscaper for any project, I cannot recommend JA Landscaping and Hauling more highly.
Josh and his crew did a great job Landscaping our backyard - installing new sod and plants. Josh followed up with questions prior to completing the quote to make sure he had the scope of work just right. He is very detailed oriented and contentiousness. He and his crew are great and they are very respectful of your property and a pleasure to work with. He also follows up after the job to make sure everything is as expected. We would highly recommend Josh and his team.

Josh and his crew were commissioned to backfill a pond we choose to abandon. They provided clean fill, compacted and leveled the fill, installed weed guard fabric and then covered the area with flagstone. Their attention to detail was outstanding. When I first inquired about the project, Joshua returned my call promptly, discussed options clearly, and made an appointment to assess the project later that day. His analysis was clear, and he offered sound guidance to complete the work in an efficient and cost-effective manner. His estimate of time and cost was clear, and pricing was very fair. Throughout the project, he was prompt and creative, resulting in an excellent installation that serves my needs perfectly. Josh gave me a clear and useful tutorial on using the new irrigation controller, as well as recommendations on the most efficient watering run times and patterns. I hired JA landscaping services to clear my parents overgrown yard. A daunting task to put it lightly. Josh the owner came over to survey the project and was confident that they could get it done. Another company surveyed it and seemed overwhelmed by the project as I was. So, although a bit more expensive, I chose JA landscape for the project. Let me say that it was worth every penny!! Josh and Paul showed up on time, got set up, and went to town!! They were fast, efficient and friendly. By the end of the day, they were filthy!! But the property was beautiful and they were both still smiling. I would reccomend this company again for sure!! Thanks guys!!

Replaced 5 sprinkler valves that were leaking; 2 of them that we were not able to locate ourselves. He also came another time to haul some trash from our yard and did an awesome job. Every time he has been over, he was very professional, knowledgable, left the place better than it was, and saved us a lot of time and money. Very nice guy; I highly recommend.

I want to recommend Josh at JA Landscaping and Hauling. He took on a large move out which required both labor and savviness, and his team excelled in every respect. When there were challenges that required my input, he called and offered solutions. The job involved cleaning out the detritus from the house and shop, pruning trees, improving the irrigation system and some other long-overdue landscape work. He showed up on time, communicated clearly and worked diligently. I feel that he charged very fairly and we are quite pleased with the results. Robert S
Very impressed with Josh and his team. Used them for junk removal and was unsure if the amount of stuff I had would all fit in his (11 cu yd) trailer. Not only did it all fit, but was able to add more because they broke everything down - didnt just throw it in. They were all really professional, and cleaned up after they were done. Would definitely recommend!!
