The local TruGreen office is fantastic. They are always ensuring that we understand the process and, they are constantly on-time.

They say they are coming and never show up. I call them and they say we reschedule you. I have been reschedule 3 times on my second service. They are not reliable. And my yard does not look good,my neighbors yards looks much better then mine. And they just mow and water.

We got our plant treatments today and John G who applied the treatments was very professional and did an excellent job. He has a lot of knowledge when discussing my garden beds.

Another great service today by TruGreen on my lawn. They came out to treat the spotted spurge and other weeds that were trying to take over my lawn. Big thanks to quality techs at TruGreen like Jay S. who pride themselves on delighting the customer. Highly recommend TruGreen if you want a great lawn!

This is the worst lawn service in the world. They sell you a service and don t provide what they are selling. Their big sell is you get free follow ups. That happens two time for every visit. Then you get charged for the service that you prepaid for. Stay away from true green I would give them a zero if I could

Excellent service and results

Horrible service. Sprayed two of our apple trees and killed them. Trees were fine prior to me WATCHING them spray them now they re dead. Sent a supervisor out to look at the trees. Said, well we don t spray apple trees but if we did it s not anything that would kill the leaves. Weird since they re now dead and were fine BEFORE spraying. Would not recommend since they talk out both sides of their mouth. The supervisor was more interested in whining about driving out to look at the trees that they killed. Check all the negative reviews on Yelp and stay away from these crooks.

Spread granulars all over drive way an walkways.. Unfortunately they do not blow off the fertilizer even when you asked multiple times... Now we have a stained concrete...

I appreciated the fact Tariq (technician) let me know what he had completed today but also what the plan would be for the next visit. Also noticed the amount of dollar weed on my neighbors lot and told me that would be a battle to keep out of my grass.

Good customer service

I sold my house over a year ago. They called me to schedule service in July of last year and told them I sold my home. Now they are wanting to charge me for a service that was done in April of this year. I have gotten numerous phone calls to schedule since then. Each time I tell them I sold my home. I called again today as I received the same bill. Lady answered and said my account was closed. Then after 5 mins on hold she said I only canceled two of my services last year and not the aeration. I asked her why I would keep that service but cancel everything else when I sold the home? She got nasty and said she didn t know. The best she could do was refund half of the bill. I said that was unacceptable. She hung up on me. This is the second representative from this company who has hung up on me when I have tried to get the situation resolved. Horrible customer service. Added a pic of the email I received this morning but not with my personal info on it.

After spending $800 on lawn care, we now have the worst looking lawn in Conway, SC. TruGreen has very poor customer service and now we have so many bare spots in our lawn that we need a pallet of sod. Do not use this company for your lawn care.

Mir Garcia who came out to Service, my lawn was very pleasant and Knowle was able to answer my questions. Answer me directions, one care for my mom. I really appreciated that nice word, Mr. Garcia.

Last year 6/22/2023 I bought a year service to save $50 instead of paying by the visit. So on 5/14/24 I see on my credit card statement I got a $69.21 charge from TRUGREEN. I called, said my TRUGREEN service plan should have one more month left. Then said if I renew for another year they would take the $69.21 off my bill. So DO NOT !!! get TRUGREEN and pay for it by the year. I was not happy with there service and was going to cancel anyway. I guess that $69.21 is a way they get you to renew for another year or if you dont renew your service they just found a way to stick you for $69.21 for leaving. If I could rate below zero stars I would but here is a one star. I will have to give TRUGREEN credit they called yesterday and refunded my $69.21 and said they would send a manager to look at my yard and address my concerns.

Fertilized. Whenever feasible I have introduced myself to the technician. All have been professional and courteous. However, seldomly do I ever see the same technician. When I point out areas of concern or my property boundaries there is no pass down from one technician to the other. My areas of concern are not passed on to the next technician and my concerns are never evaluated from one lawn service to the next. Thus there is no evaluation by the technician of a previous treatment. The only evaluations left by the technicians are very general and offer little advice to remedy concerns. One reason to hire TruGreen is to receive professional advice to enhance my lawn. Without consistency and follow on suggestions from your technicians, I may as well treat my lawn and not hire TruGreen. Respectfully, Your Customer.

Very good quality of service and reliability. They will redo anything that wasnt right as soon as possible. They keep their promises and do what is best for your lawn, shrubs, pest control etc. Above all, is that they keep in contact with you about what they are doing or are about to do. We live in Brunswick Plantation in North Carolina and we see TruGreen as a good value.

Just switched to true green, first visit, on time, professional and efficient hoping for big improvement with my lawn over the next year

TruGreen has served me well & my lawn is proof. If you ever have an issue, they strive to correct by revisiting, thoroughly explain the issue/reasons & make sure they have resolved any issues. I also use TruGreen for my tree, shrub, & mosquitos treatments. I did try another well known Lawncare company because they were a few bucks less & it was not a positive experience. After 3 months I stopped their service & TruGreen saved my lawn!

Finallty sent someone that I could talk to was helpful was kind was educating me and would love nothing more than if Vinnie comes every time as my service tech repeat every time he cared about the customer he cared about my mom. He cared to educate me amazing.

We talked briefly as he was doing this first treatment! All be good so far. Thanks!

Jay S. service tech came back to re-apply nitrogen to my yard. He apologized for first application (his spreader malfunctioned & had to fix it in the field). The first time the spreader did not spread the nitrogen properly - so the yard had yellow streaks where it was not spreading. Jay S. explained his situation with the equipment and reapplied to areas that were missed by the spreader the first time. Jay S. Is a valuable member of Tru-Green and greatly appreciated by (Gene N.) customer. Thank you Tru-Green for making this right. I m happy.

Very professional technician who applied the product today. He recommended for us to sod our lawn. He is 100% correct, our lawn is bald with just sand. We are very close to the beach.

George was quick and efficient. He let us know when he getting ready to start and when he was finished.

Didnt see much difference in lawn..to aerate lawn was gonna be almost 600 additional to the 860 I already paid...the field guys and office for scheduling were never on same page especially if you needed to reschedule service

Kevin just completed my shrub and tree treatment. I asked him to show me exactly what he was doing and why. I m usually not home so I was unclear as to which trees and plants were treated. He was so kind! He explained everything as we walked around the property and he told me what to look for as the summer approaches. Kevin was excellent!

John came earlier than usual and was kind and didn t wake me up. That was very thoughtful.

The gate was left open between 527 and525 in which case my two dogs could have gotten out if not found before the discovered it. They are German Shepard and not oriented to beyond our yard. Please be conscience of this fact .

I havent had any real big problems with Tru-Green. If there is a problem I call them and they return and redo the lawn without a charge.

Too early to tell. I have had a total of 2 treatments and lime put down. No visible difference at this point but I really dont expect any until later. Applications are done by a very nice gentleman. I have seen very little to report. I did speak to our application person about more weed control. But then again they are still working it. Grass is still brown from the winter and beginning to emerge.

Today we had our lawn service completed by Michael J. Previously we had a bad experience with the previous lawn care specialist with the application he had done. It was not to our satisfaction and had to be done over. Michael J , from branch 5623 came today to reapply the application. He was very informative and explained what he would be doing. We were very impressed with his patience. He did an excellent job on the new application. Wish we could have him all the time we were very satisfied, such a polite young man.

We had no grass in the backyard and now it looks great. I want to continue to work with TruGreen according to my lawns needs. My yard is thick and lucious thanks to them.

We used them for 2 years . Last year they killed my back yard . We cancelled our contract . They said to give them another chance and said they would come aerate our yard and plant grass seed. We bought the seed they called in May and said it was too hot they would do it in the spring. So now it s a year later and they re still saying they will between May 30and August 5th??? So they are NOT coming ever ! Oh and I don t think they were servicing my backyard because I have more weeds then grass ! They claim they didn t have the gate code that I gave them and they have on file!

Received a text today that the tactician who s coming to my house. The text that the technician was at my house. There was no technician at my house so I called the service number one 800 number. It really got no satisfaction was told the service tech would call me never received a call from the service tech so call that second timer. Did you try to explain the situation to the person on the phone telling him that he did my neighbors lawn instead of mobile and also asked why did not call me back which time I got a little bit of a run around . it s to be connected to the local office I was giving me the phone number of them. Why couldn t they connect me if they were part of the same company unfortunately, that from what I gathered the people answering the phone we re not from this country there s anything wrong with that, but I couldn t understand why they couldn t connect me to the local office . I got the local number roaming back to the service. They said they were going to go to re-schedule work for my house. I was very upset that I didn t get a callback from the technician. More upset when I found out from my neighbor did it fertilization instead of mine I would like to know if the tech tech get a text message to give me a call and if he got it when we ignore it. Do you know way to run a business?

Your technicians are barely in my lawn long enough to set off alarms on my Security Cameras or my Ring Doorbell - and it will pick up a passing car. So, I am not sure whats being done or if it is being done. A special application for Ants and Mole Crickets was made - and I still have a large visible ant hill in my back yard. It is hyped that the applications are tailored to your lawns specific needs ... But how can my lawn be identical to every other lawn the technician is visiting that day since he only has one tank full of chemical on his truck - and hes using it on every bodys lawn - Doesnt sound as thought it was specific to my lawn.

They went from 5 stars last year to 1. The staff seem fine but the tech over fertilized my lawn with too much iron that was confirmed by their area supervisor who responded I take a lot of pride and effort to have a nice lawn and because of a careless tech he killed sections of the lawn and also destroyed some new sod I had put down a month ago The cost of repair far exceeded the refund I got back when I cancelled the service Seed cost $60 a pound and I also had to purchase some elemental sulfur and potassium to restore the ph levels for $116 which was recommended by Clemens university after I sent in a soil sample. My ph was over 7.2 because the company treats all lawns with the same product no matter what it actually needs My neighbors is also badly burnt from his last application. Make your own decisions but I will go back to doing my own in the future. I don t like giving negative reviews but maybe more training will be given to the techs because if it

TruGreen has been wonderful. My lawn looks great and my neighbors comment on it all the time.

They started out pretty good for a few yrs. But the last 3 yrs it has gotten worse. Its hard to get someone to come back out if you need them. r ts o come back out

Have been with TruGreen for 7 years now, and have not had any problems. If I saw weeds they would come back out for respray.

I had a bad experience with Truegreen, however I want to explain. I am very particular about my yard, about the money I spend and that the entire yard gets treated. At first, this was not happening. Then today I met Jayson, real nice guy, honest. I explained my concerns about the foreign grass taking over the backyard. He said it is considered a weed and it was already in the soil. I get that. He said what he did today will turn it brown, but probably not kill it. I appreciate his honesty above anything and also, he did the entire yard. He spent close to half an hour here, more time addressing the yard then sitting in the truck. Secondly, I want to applaud Truegreen for always coming back and trying to make it right. Todays service was free, I called back yesterday and spoke with a female who was quite helpful as well. I wanted to cancel the appointment for today because I didnt want them to waste their time on what I was calling crabgrass. She said, the service is free so just let them come take a look, she notated my concerns about the lawn in my profile. I feel better now knowing my concerns were met but most of all, I appreciate the honesty from Jayson over anything else.

Within 3 days of signing up via a cold call at our home on a Friday afternoon, we almost canceled our service. Within 4 days, we did! Initially when we signed up for 8 treatments, we were assured that our first service would not be done until the following week, as we wouldnt be available and wanted to be there for our first treatment. 3 days later, Monday, we got a text saying they were coming over for our first treatment! We called customer service, they said they didnt know that but they would wait until the following week until we called. We were frustrated, but gave them the benefit of doubt. So, just one day later, another text arrives, that be be coming for a treatment later that day! We were out of town. Called customer service again, yet again they had no clue. So we canceled what would of been 8 treatments over a year. If they cant even handle a new customers appointments, why bother signing them up! Will never use them!

This is the worst lawn treatment service ever. I am confident they never sprayed half of my yard for weeds. My lawn was destroyed with mole crickets and I had the premium package and they did not treat. I called for months trying to get a supervisor to come out and they would not respond until after I told then they were being fired. Do not trust your lawn on these people.

Definitely not worth the money! Still seeing bare spots, grass is not looking any better than it did before service

After signing a one year contract, they came out and over fertilized our lawn. IT IS NOW DEAD! The local branch office in Myrtle Beach has been very slow in responding to my request for fixing the damage. It took them 3 weeks to finally come out to look at the dead spots! NO RESOLUTION WAS PROPOSED! DON T EVER USE THIS COMPANY!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!

Too pushy on sales. Had to block the sales rep s number as he wouldn t stop calling me back to back.

I was pleased to have the service redone but disappointed that it was the same tech as the last time. Customer service told me that that person would not be doing my lawn again and that Desmond would be coming out. Otherwise, he did take 15 minutes today to do the application and I feel it was done properly.

The lawn technicians took the time to explain some best practices for my lawn. Gave me pointers on growing a healthy lawn with some future recommended services. I appreciate them taking that time.

Ive had them treating my new lawn all season only to find dead areas with no grass, more weeds than before & overall my lawn looks terrible

Jason the tru green technician was more than helpful in resolving the problems I have with seemingly dying lawn. He able to diagnose the cause why lawn at the back was dying due to faulty water sprinkler. I am so appreciative of his efforts in not leaving until he was able to pinpoint the cause.

Our lawn has less weeds, and is greener and healthier since we started using TruGreen.

A job done well, that was the first couple of times. The last treatment may have been done like the guy said. I had no tracks in the yard, no granules on the concrete. Nothing picked up on the ring camera. Thier last year with us.

Jay is very knowledgeable and took the time to point out how I can improve my lawn. Kevin also came the same day to treat my shrubs and trees . He told me some things to better take care of them and what to watch for. I recommend TruGreen for your lawn and tree and shrub treatment.

Msg sent before 7am yesterday. Waited over 7 hrs. Today msg sent before 7. Didn t here the knock on door. Heard msg he was here Rep was here by 8 and done by 8:20. We are retired so don t get up before 8. By the time we were up and dressed he had moved from front to back. He was fast and efficient. Before I could get to front he was gone so didn t get to speak with him. He did leave a detailed account of the service.
