We had had problems last year with this company but it recently was purchased and being run by a whole new crew and manager. We decided to give them another try at the new managers request. So far, they have been very responsive and professional! They seem to want to do a good job. Everyone deserves a second chance!
I'm a fairly new customer but I have had Spring Green treat my lawn twice. I was impressed with their telephone customer service and the knowledge of their technician. Spring Green's pricing is competitive and so far I'm pleased with the results.
Never returned calls after paying their bills, they keep treating my lawn after I even mailed a stop service request, and another letter since they don't respond. About 3 months later one of their landscapers pulled up with the core aerator on a trailer, walked up to me with a bill for $99, I showed him the brochure that said it was supposed to be free. He got back in his truck and just drove off. They'll probably send me a bill for walking on my lawn.. I'm going to have to look into getting a restraining order against the company, and call the BBB. And after reading the previous reviews , I know, I know, you're gonna reach out to the local office bla bla bla.
Sorry to report that we did not receive good service from Spring Green in Myrtle Beach. They would come spray for weeds and it never made any difference and actually the lawn looked worse. After quite a bit of rain they came to air-rate and the worker drove the heavy tractor through standing water making huge ruts in our yard and our neighbors and continued on until we literally had to run out to stop him. The yard was severely damaged and when we called to share our concerns we left 3 messages with not one returned call. Then to add insult they actually mailed us a bill for the air-rate service that was not even half completed and ruined the back yard. Professionals reply to customers calls and try to make problems right, that sadly does not appear to be part of their customer service. We would not recommend their services but hope they read their reviews and make the necessary changes.
Used their service last year. My lawn has NEVER looked so bad!!! They don't return calls or follow up with their customers. Stay away unless you want to be ripped off. I called twice to the local office and once to the corporate office. I even sent them pictures of my "Garden of Weed'en". Finally cancelled service in Nov. Don't fall for the flyer they mail out with the "Satisfaction Guarantee". Shame on them !!!!!
Great service for a reasonable price
this year service has not been up to previous standards. Unable to contact owner, Need to know when next visit is planned.
Very reasonable priced and well educated on the southern lawns. I was use to tall fescue and the Zoysia grass was new to me. They explained very well to me how much watering I needed and how to cut the grass. They do a fantastic job on maintaining my lawn. Highly recommend Spring Green in Shallotte!

My experience was not good. My service wasnt up par! Been treating my yards for over 30 years! Dont mind paying for good service. I have a big problem when people dont respond when you call them about your service!! I had more Weeds than my neighbors. Who never treat their yards. Sorry I was very unhappy! Dont like doing reviews, but someone who works there needs here about it.
We had major issues with weeds on a newly sodded lawn. We started with Spring Green and very happy that they were able to eradicate a majority of them. The reason I only gave 4 instead of 5 stars is due to fact everyones lawn has greened up far faster than ours. We should be receiving a treatment for that within the next week. My husband is not happy due to this fact and reason we went with a service was to make sure these applications were timely. Honestly our weather this spring in Myrtle Beach was up and down on the temperature scale, and may be the reason for the delay? Otherwise everything else was wonderful. Thank you.
This company has essentially destroyed my front yard over the last couple of years. On top of that, the owner refuses to return phone calls and emails.
I contracted with them for yearly service have not seen them since August and get the answering machine Back to Tru Green for me.
Contracted with them for lawn service on February 27. They took the payment on February 28. Now Wades office says I didnt pay and I must prove they received $268 from me. Lousy customer service.
My eighty year old dad went on contract with this franchisee. This Spring Green franchisee over-applicated, over-charged, and killed my dads beautiful yard. This has been a year of my dad having to get new sod to satisfy his home association, having to buy soil samples, not getting any return phone calls, not getting any refund, etc. The corporate office said this franchisee has had many complaints and the owner said he would personally help my father get payment for the $5000.00 in damages but then the owner at the corporate office disappeared too. My mom is sick, my dad was just in hospital and in this time waiting month after month my brother died, still no refund. Id really like to see my dad get his $5,000.00 refund before we file the upcoming lawsuit or Id like to see corporate pull this franchise and shut it down. This is not a good business. They do kill your yard, they dont care how old you are, they dont admit they are wrong and they wont help you.
Ive never used this service before but weeds were terrible this year. I had them come out and they did a wonderful job. Weeds were under control within a week or two and best thing is they saved my grass! The staff that came out were so friendly that we added Spring-Green to our Christmas card list!
I am a very easy person to work with. I have never lost a yard in my life, but this was the first time I ever used a lawn service. Avoid this company! They killed my back yard, wont return calls and have been absolutely horrible. I had fewer weeds in my yard doing the work myself. My advice-Use someone else!
