My reviews starts with me meeting with Randy for a job estimate. I explained to that I was in need of a backyard drainage system. I also presened him with a detailed drawing of the areas that needed attention. Speaking with Randy I konw right off the bat that Randy was an experience engineer. He reassured me that he would resolve my drainage issue. Randys crew worked diligently in very hot conditions. The outcome of the job was that my backyard issue was taken care of and I am very satisfied. Thank You Grand Strand Landxcaping for being honorable and on point .

I hired the team to come and install fence for me, but it wasn t a typical installation. We needed an 8ft fence to make up for a large disparity in elevation. Everyone else told us it couldn t be done, but they were able to figure it out and get our fence installed - and it s amazingly durable and sturdy! Not only that, it s like pulling teeth to get people to stick to a schedule or even return a call nowadays. Grand Strand came on time every time, when they said they would - they were prompt, professional, courteous and kind. We are meeting with them soon for landscaping work. Just a great experience all around. I highly recommend them.

Crew was on time and worked very professionally

Company performed yard grading and sod installation. Crew were on-time and fast workers. Company was responsive to a problem with a small sink hole found after installation, came right out and repaired it

Outstanding work performed. Laid sod, created flower beds, put in pal trees and other trees, river rocks, cleared wooded area, laid irrigation lines. Very knowledgeable and helpful start to finish. Neighbors impressed with the work and several took Ben s number. Most every day someone walking by comments positively about the finished look. I strongly recommend Ben and his team.

After dealing with a terrible contractor, I hired Grand Strand Fence and landscaping to finish my pool/fence project after seeing their stellar reviews on Facebook. Ben (owner) was fantastic to deal with (as well as his crew). Any issues that arose were dealt with both professionally and amicably by this business. I would highly recommend this business and will gladly use them for any future projects.

Never showed up, never called, no machine to take messages, bad business. Edited: I spoke with the company and have an appointment with them upcoming. I did not want to leave a poor review, but there was miscommunication and it cost us time and money. I rose the rating from 1 to 4 stars because my first point was they didnt show, they stated they told my wife a date, whereas my wife stated it was on Thursday, when someone tells you next Thursday on a Tuesday, you plan on the Thursday that week, not the next week; miscommunication, understandable, but my wife did not work that day and we both waited and canceled plans. 2nd issue was calling, when I searched via Google the company (originally through a Facebook Ad I made contact), the address is correct, but Google has a different phone number, when speaking with the company (when they called) I pointed out Google had the incorrect number, their response was they are looking into the situation. I am hoping to change this rating to a 5 star and have expectations on a professional company doing an exceptional job...pending

I was encouraged when my husband and I first spoke to Ben. He was very attentive, listened to our plans and made suggestions. He has big plans for his companies. The plants arrived in great condition; I was pleased with the choice of plants we selected. What a wonderful oasis we have in our back courtyard. I definitely recommend this company to others.

We hired Grand Strand Landscaping to address a water pooling problem in our yard. They recommended a French drain system that would move the water 150 to the storm drain on the street. They arrived on the scheduled date with the appropriate equipment, tools and manpower to get the job done in two days. They protected the surrounding areas and cleaned up completely, including power washing the fence and paved areas. The recent tropical storm dumped 5 inches of rain and the system worked perfectly.

We had a fence put up and they worked with us along the way to meet our needs. Everybody was very friendly and responsive down to the installers. Small hold up mainly due to supplier issues which was understandable. Good honest people. The workers worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done and didn t waste time checking their phones or anything which I found impressive in todays world

They called me and set an appt for 9:30 am on a Tuesday morning which was great because it was my day off from work. I woke up early only to receive a phone call that they would not be able to make it at 9:30 but would come after lunch sometime. I explained that I hoped it was closer to 1 as I just moved in and had much to do on my days off. I wasted my entire day waiting for these people for an estimate and they never showed up. Not even a phone call . I left several messages and when Jade got back to me this morning she apologized and said she had no idea that they had not shown up. This is why contractors get a bad name with unacceptable customer service like this. I guess once you get a couple 5 star reviews all your customers dont count anymore.

Ben and the team from Grand Strand Landscaping and Fence need to be commended on the incredible job that they did for us! We had been having serious drainage issues in our yard and needed to have that issue resolved. Ben worked with us not only to manage this issue, but to help us envision the expansion, landscape design, and plant selection to compliment the overall plan. The team was so professional, personable, knowledgeable and hard working. Our neighbors cant say enough about them too... they have complemented them on their engagement, interaction, and quality of work. The team proactively spoke with the neighbors about the work happening around their yard and answered any questions that they had. Truly a remarkable effort! Our scope of work included regrading, drainage, irrigation, sod placement, landscaping, a firepit area, fencing, mulching and general seasonal cleanup... all with one company. I didnt think that we would be able to find that all in one stop... and we are so glad that we did! We just want to reiterate our extreme satisfaction with the work that Grand Strand Landscaping and Fence did for us... and for their professionalism, hard work, dedication, knowledge-sharing, patience, and positive attitudes!

I had another tree removal service that did unsatisfactory and incomplete work. I found this company online. Ben came and gave me an estimate and I hired them to remove my fence in order to remove 2 tree roots then put fence back up. This entire crew were amazing and persistent. What should have taken 2 men 2 hours of work, took 4 men and 2 days. The crepe Myrtle must have been crossed with live oak. It was enormous. However Ben and his crew kept at it until they got most of the roots out and had to grind down what was left. They were all friendly, professional and extremely hard working. Thank you Ben and your crew for not giving up on those monster tree roots. I would highly recommend them for any lawn job you have. They are my heroes! 2 pictures of roots they fought.

We have been very pleased with grand strand landscaping. Great communication and punctual. They removed yard debris, re-graded and removed old concrete patio pad. They also installed a new concrete pad as well. We will be using them to put sod down in the upcoming weeks. Ben and his crew have been great and a pleasure to work with.

We cant say enough good things about Ben and his crew. They installed an amazing paver patio with a curved seating wall, two beautiful pindo palms, and an aluminum fence surrounding the backyard. Ben met with us to get an idea of what we were looking for, and he just took it from there. I recently hired Grand Strand Landscaping and Fencing Inc. (3-5-21). They cleared and graded a wooded area, removed pine trees close to my house, and installed a 6 foot privacy fence. I had a great experience! The owner, Ben, helped me through the process. He provided me with multiple options, and took the time to educated me on each one. He provided me with all the information I needed to make the best decisions for my property and family. Ben was very accessible, he responded quickly to calls and texts. I added a few upgrades, after work had started, with no problems. All of Bens crew were professional and respectful. I would highly recommend Grand Strand Landscaping and Fencing Inc.! We hired Ben to replace a broken down wooden privacy fence with a vinyl fence. The new fence is beautiful! We also mentioned our front yard doesn t drain well. He presented an excellent solution and suggested laying zoysia sod and replacing our mulch in the flower beds with river rock. What an amazing difference! Ben and Richie were wonderful to work with. He sent me ideas for rock and landscaping and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. Showed up the following week to complete the job. Was very professional even took me over to his landscape supply company to assist me with picking out plants for my beds. I am truly happy with the work completed and will have him back for maintenance and pruning. I came out beautiful.
