My experience with this company is that they quote one price and charge another. They also did this to my neighbor. They shamelessly over charge. I would never recommend them.

As a small business owner myself, I really don t like writing bad reviews. However, they were my neighborhood landscapers for the past couple of years and they were AWFUL. They ripped up my screened porch and the plastic underneath, leaving a huge hole for my animals, who love being on the porch, able to run outside. They destroyed sprinkler heads. They would cut the grass even on wet, rainy, days, leaving ripped up mud pits in our yards. They mowed down and sprayed weed killer on my flowers in my front flower bed, multiple times, destroying priceless plants that had been given to me by clients and my boyfriend every Valentines Day. I marked my plants/flowers with big yellow flags to make them aware- they still mowed down the plants AND the flags! I made MULTIPLE complaints to the HOA and even called them, leaving a strongly worded message. Some people in our neighborhood actually surrounded their flower beds with tape to keep them away, making our neighborhood look like a crime scene. Thank goodness our HOA has finally fired them. Absolutely do not recommend.

Learned about Amazing Blades last year when I needed sod and all over service for my yard. Can t tell you how happy I am with the service. Just had Chuck and Daniel to trim my crepe Myrtle s which I have 7 on my property and they were very professional and amazing to work with. I highly recommend this company and you will not be disappointed!

They are not worth it! I spend more than $1000 on their services. My grass had big dry patches. I called them and ask them to come and take a look at it. They send someone and he was suppose to call. Instead he gives me a quote. I dont need a quote. They dont communicate between each other. I needed to know whats wrong with my grass. I called again and the lady, I think her name was Tiffany, she was having a bad day I guess. Literally gave me answers in one word with some attitude. I usually dont leave bad reviews but the way they talk to me on the phone, I just had to. Rude customer service. Just bad. My recommendation would be go look for someone else. They are not worth it. Just bad customer service. Reply: We dont have a dog. There are dry patches in my backyard too. Nobody ever said that on the phone. I have your email proving that you never said that. So thats a lie. Also, that proves my point about miscommunication between you all. I cant believe that you actually blamed your bad work on a dog issue. Just accept it that you guys messed up. Thats just ridiculous.

I contacted Amazing Blades to do a moderate makeover of our front yard landscape and some replacements of a few small plants out back. Ray came to review and provide a plan and an estimate. The estimate came in a timely manner and the work was done within the two week estimate. Chuck and team did the removal of the old plants, moved some to a new locations and installed the new plants. They also laid down mulch and trimmed our palms. The changes look great and the work area was cleaned up nicely. I m very pleased with the results and would highly recommend them.

I called for an estimate to have my Spring yard cleaning performed. The estimator was promt in visiting my house as well as sending an estimate. The work was done in a very timely manner, considering I called in the Spring in April. I had all the beds around my house cleaned out and remulched, 3 beds re-landscaped with plantings, and all the bushes trimmed. The crew led by Caleb took 1 day and did an amazing job. Thank you!

Stay away from this company.They showed up once and them stopped coming due to various excuses. If you are looking for inconsistent lawn car and horrible Custer service this place is for you.

Caleb and crew 12 did a fantastic job and worked extremely hard to landscape our beds with rocks and plants. The team was very polite and friendly throughout the entire process. I highly recommend their business.

Was told the mulch they applied was fine so it would stay put. Wasn t but it looked better than the pine straw. They did remove the sorry plants that Dr Horton planted. My issue is the palm they planted was a hurricane cut which was not what I wanted and it died in a few months which a lot of them do depending on their source. They don t warrant any of the palms like other nurseries do. For what they cost they should stand behind what they plant. I suggest that others use a more reputable service.

I wanted to shout out to Brittany Harris. I have called her in a day more times I call my husband:) I asked her questions about Zoysia and she has been patient , friendly and never rushed me . She is an asset to your customer service. I came from Sales and my customers were my bread and butter and could lose one just by a short answer and Brittany was excellent. Lucky to have her on your team ! I wanted to share my latest experience with the SOD install along with the Mulch we had done. Mr. Wilman Collazo was leading his team on the 2 day project in our yard. They removed all the old grass and installed the new sod along with laying the mulch in our flower beds.They did a great job, they communicated through their progress and was knowledgeable and informative. Had a 8 application service and part year mowing/weed control. Don did a great job with the applications and the yard in my first year came through much better. The mowers really did a great job and took care of weed control. I thought the quality of results were a real value for the price. Dreadful customer services and questionable business practices. Came and started services that were not requested and still invoiced for them. They also seem confused about the difference between open and read. Especially given that emails can be marked that way without actually reading. Theyve been given multiple opportunities to simply provide a refund and I have no interest in wasting my time on the phone when the solution is straightforward. Their contract is unclear and despite their continued claims about an email being opened they fail to recognize the simple truth that the burden of making their terms clear falls to them. I dont do businesses with places that treat their customers this way.

We just had a new lawn installed by Amazing Blades. Our crew of 3, Alisha, Juan and Pee Wee were hard working, courteous with an excellent work ethic. This was a 3 day job. The first day was spent removing all the old sod and weeds. The second was spreading the soil mix and grading, (FANTASTIC job). The third was laying the new sod. The sod was around 1 1/2 - 2 thick and very healthy. They worked out of their trucks and no dirt or sod was dumped on our driveway or on the street. They cleaned up at the end of each day. Our crew deserves an A+ and Amazing Blades 5*****s. Weve already had a few neighbors commenting how great it looks!

I called their office we agreed on a price and a time when the time came no one showed up when I called them they said no one was coming and it would be 2 to 3 months before they could help me out I will never use this company and I hope you don t either

Be aware of this very unprofessional company. I hired this company for mowing, edging and trimming. I was quoted an amount and signed up for a bi-weekly cut. It took them over a week to perform the first service. Victor barely cut my lawn and there were many uneven areas of long and short grass. The main issue was that he sprayed and killed my raspberry vines, which were growing on a trellis. Then he charged me extra for removal. Needles to say I was very unhappy. I called customer service and she said they would be sending the district manager out to look at the area. Not sure why he needed to see empty trellises. I never heard back from them after that. I never received an updated invoice. Victor came back two weeks later and again botched cut my yard. He didnt edge or trim or cut the back area. It was a disaster. This was the worst experience Ive ever had with a lawn company and my raspberry vines that I planted with my children three years ago are dead. UPDATE: I was contacted by a woman who read the review and wanted to resolve the issue. At this time we also mentioned that there were large dead spots in our yard that must have been from the herbicide that was sprayed. She said she would reach out once she had spoken to the area manager about planting a new raspberry vine. She contacted us again and said they were trying to locate a vine to plant. After another week I noticed someone had planted a young raspberry vine. I appreciate the effort of replacing the vine. The only issue is that we keep getting an invoice for the service and we have called many times to try and get this invoice removed from our account.

I had a large pine tree cut down and then they installed a very large bed in my front yard, with a 10 palm, smaller palms and lots of different shrubs. Amazing did an amazing job!!! Extremely happy with the entire crew. Alicia was especially helpful with suggestions as to where to plant. I kept changing my mind and had her keep moving plants, she did it so willingly and with a smile! The experience from getting the quote to the end was seamless and professional.

Bryans crew arrived at 7:30am and worked steadily until mid afternoon transforming several pine straw gardens into beautiful landscape with mulch ground cover. They planted six three gallon Anthony Waterer Spiraea in a desolate part of the beds bordering a neighbor. In addition they added a 1 covering of mulch to our front beds making the entire front lawn really pop! Pine straw was re-applied surrounding the perimeter of the house and around our majestic laurel oak tree in the backyard. When you see workers on their hands and knees spreading mulch you know you are getting an impressive crew! Way to go Amazing Blades Landscaping! We are ready for Spring 2020!

I contacted amazing blades a year ago and met with Ryan to address concerns regarding my centipede lawn in the lakes. He said give us a year and we will have you re lawn looking better . I mow and edge my grass regularly but needed a good chemical program for my lawn. When I stepped outside this spring, I noticed my grass was easily pulling up by the roots. They will not take any responsibility and still want me to spend my money to fix issues that they were supposed to be staying on top of. I see they have many good reviews but my experience was a complete nightmare. They only cared about taking my money

Amazing Blades (AB) is a company you can count on. Being new to Myrtle Beach, SC from Connecticut I had no knowledge of the type of grasses here. I called AB and the owner Ryan came out and educated me on the facts of the grass I have. After calling a few other companies to get more quotes I knew I was going to hire AB for my services which was fertilization of my lawn. Don arrived a few days later and my lawn has never looked so good. Don cares about his clients and their needs. Any concerns I have had have been addressed with top priority by both Don and the office staff. I am so happy i choice AB for my needs. On 6/12/2020, Bernards crew installed two Chinese Hawthorn shrubs, that were recommended by Ryan, to fill-in an empty spot in our hedgerow. The crew contacted me via phone prior to arriving and the installation was professionally done.

Amazing Blades has an absolute jewel in Vanessa. In an era when customer service is nothing more than an empty phrase, Vanessa personifies the true definition of customer service. She is friendly, helpful, professional, responsible, and reliable. The world would be a much better place if more folks were like her. I live in a condo community that Amazing Blades has taken over from previous landscaping company. Their work is by far the best our neighborhood has looked in the 10 years we have lived in this condo. The crew is friendly and professional. Juan was very invested in the appearance of the landscaping. I had an issue last year with an in ground sprinkler that sprayed directly into my porch that was never addressed after multiple emails being sent to our property management company. This year when the sprinklers were back into use, I emailed again about the issue and the new landscapers came out that same week and took care of it. Seems to me they are prompt and actually care about the work they are doing. Would definitely recommend them!

This company was working on my neighbors irrigation and cut into my side on the property line and cut my cable line, and will not have it repaired. I am NOT recommending this company to anyone. Please do not use them. Please advise your neighbors.

Theyre not doing the same excellent job theyve done in years past. Often the grass trimmer isnt used on the borders around the sidewalks, curbs, mulched areas and ground covering. The ground covering is growing onto the sidewalks and its high in some areas. Our developments grounds just doesnt have a well kept and manicured appearance that Ive become accustomed to.

I called them and the said someone would be by to see me on Monday I figured they would tell me what was wrong and fix it instead no one showed up. when I called multiple times I could only speak to the clerk answering the phone, when she told me they were working up a quote to fix my yard I said dont bother that is why I am on a annual plan she then said army worms werent covered, terrible cant be trusted

Amazing Blades has been on our HOA-managed property for over 6 months and they have truly lived up to their name--theyre amazing. Their crews are kind, considerate and thorough. For example, today, while Miguel was blowing pine straw off the patio, he even took a moment to dump it out of my hammock and clean that up too! Thats just one example of how their whole team goes the extra mile. I also have nothing but great things to say about Ryan Wilk (our main contact) and Will Blackburn (our irrigation guy)--both have been extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent advice on addressing longstanding maintenance issues on our property.

Will and Harry came to my rescue to get my sprinkler system back up and running after some accidental damage by a subcontractor working for a neighbor. They were great. They arrived on time (even a little early) and were professional. Found the problem and fixed it. Very happy with my outcome and would use them again in a heartbeat!

Ryans Team is currently at True Blue condos in Pawleys Island. They have been working quietly and non-stop all morning laying mulch. Ryans Team is courteous, cheerful and they are doing a wonderful job making the outside of our condo development beautiful just in time for Spring! ( I went out with my pup to take the trash out and Ryan even offered to take the trash to the dumpster for me. How kind!!)

Hunter and his crew came to our house this afternoon to spread mulch in all the garden beds. They did a superb job and were in and out of my yard in about 90 minutes. Do you have any idea how long it would have taken my husband and I? The guys were courteous and respectful- they walked around the yard with me to make sure they did exactly what I wanted. We just received service by Mike and Jaquan. Again, all was done with great care and extra forethought to prepare for future dates. Cooper was a huge help on the last visit as well. We are so pleased to know that our feedback really matters to them. They are not just a quick lawn cut and on to the next property. It is like a makeover for your lawn in no time flat.

Anthony and his two man crew were courteous and diligent workers. They did a great job removing a 15 foot by 30 foot area of mostly dead grass and replacing it with new sod. Ive had similar good results with Amazing Blades on other landscaping projects.

These guys are great. I found them after years of poor service from another company in Myrtle Beach. They have been able to get our yard back in shape and looking great again. We had them install sod and replace several old bushes, correct major drainage issues. Cain is awesome as he is very responsive and understands how a nice lawn should look. Amazing Blades has literally transformed my yard for the better, in less than 3 months. Mike H. has come out and fixed my entire irrigation system in less than couple of hours.

Amazing Blades did an amazing renewal of my entire lawn after 11 years of neglect. First Harry and Mike surveyed & mapped out the fives zones for the irrigation system. When they finished it provided complete water coverage for my soon to be new sod. I was very impressed with their knowledge, workmanship and determination. (they continued to work thru four hours of heavy rains) and were more than wiling to answer the many questions I had for them. I cannot say enough about their great attitudes. A day later another crew came and cut out all the old grass/ weeds and leveled out my yard from all the holes my dogs had dug in preparation for the new sod. Then when we were out of town for a few days another crew came and installed the new Zoysia sod. (Robbie the owner recommended this type of grass and I am so pleased with it.) To our amazement we came home to a beautiful new lawn. Just awesome! Im already getting compliments from neighbors. After seeing the work involved I realized how technical it is to insure the proper placement and sequence of the five zones for complete water coverage. These guys really know their stuff. They also contacted the utility companies to make sure the gas and cable lines would be marked out before they began trenching. They are professionals who back up their work as shown to me when Harry came back a few days later to fine tune the sprinkler head angles. I highly recommend this company for their knowledge, competence, and high quality work. thank you all including the office staff who coordinated the job. *(Foot Note) It s now three months after sod was installed and it just gets thicker and more lush. Just had our plant beds refreshed with mulch. The guys were very professional, got the job done quickly and did a great job of cleaning up after.

Completely disappointed with this company.. I called them few months ago to request a service.. they supposed to come to my house an specific day for a lawn mowing, but nobody showed up that day or neither next week. Given that they didn t reply back or notified me about what happened, I decided to hired another company to clean my backyard. Results now I need to paid them three lawn mowing services that they has been doing at my house, without me even knowing. That s completely absurd, I was never notified about those services. I called back to let them know I ve never received a confirmation about those upcoming services but the person who I spoke over the phone (Nina) was completely rude and hung up on me. Very poor customer service. Her response was: YOU NEED TO PAY bc you called to request the service, and we never confirm or notify the client about this type of service. That s completely nonsense.. I mean I feel robbed and also offended by the person who assisted me. There suppose to be an confirmation or a notification ahead of time. I didn t even know they were at my house doing that. Also they need to hire people that is able to provide good customer service and not be disrespectful to their clients.

Overall very happy with the results. They did a phenomenal job with my front and side yard in eliminating weeds and keeping them under control all summer long as well as a think green lawn. However, for some reason, I feel my back yard got worse with goose grass and weeds. I would have appreciated some sort of insight on what caused that issue. Was it my irrigation system? Sunlight? If there was something I could have done in between treatments to help would have been nice to know. Overall very happy with the service, maybe a consult one time over the 8 applications on what could improve the back would have been more helpful. Still would recommend and use again.

Yesterday we contracted with Amazing Blades to take care of our lawn needs and apply some long needed mulch. They told us there would be a 3 to 4 week wait on the mulch. Best landscaping business ever

Beware. Company has several Yelp accounts Called last week for a sprinkler head to be moved Woman said they would be out the next day but couldn t give me a time I said ok and gave her my credit card for deposit on the job The next day nobody showed , so at 430 I called and asked if he was still coming. I was told no he is backed up and one of their irrigation techs was in the hospital as of 5is morning. I told her I was sorry to hear that and could I make and appointment for an early morning to avoid any issues I was given an appointment for 8 am today I called at 830 to ask if he was still showing. I was told another emergency happened and she wasn t sure if they would make it out today. I asked Why did you not just call me and let me know . She had no answer for that They May be good , if you can get them to show up but 2 strikes and I m not wasting another vacation day from my job waiting for you

An extremely profession group of guys came out and in just a few hours put in and cleaned up my residential sprinkler system. I would recommend these guys for any future sprinkler system projects.

Don has done a wonderful job of bringing our lawn back to life. Even our neighbor has noticed and is impressed with the results in such a short time. And Nina, Christine and Ashley in Customer Service have been a tremendous help when I have called for additional services. They are knowledgeable and friendly every time I called. And the gentlemen who came to remove a tree in our front yard that had fallen over multiple times after Hurricane Florence did such a professional job removing that tree and planting a replacement. They followed through when the first company never came back after the original tree fell again.

I only got to talk to one guy but he has tattoos on his arms and his name is Justin he was a sweet boy and they all did a great coming and got right to work by weeding and blowing the yard.

William is a master. He installed a new irrigation system and we were so happy with that we had him install landscape lighting....its beautiful. Hes an extremely hard worker and we are very happy with his work.

Nothing but great things to say about this company! Prompt, professional, courteous, well equipped, able to tackle the tough jobs. My front yard was a wreck. The grass had thinned out. There were numerous tree roots, some as large as 3 inches in diameter, that had popped up through the surface. Mowing the lawn got to be a teeth rattling experience. I had the trees cut down during the winter and there were residual chain saw wood chips all in the grass and natural areas. I also needed a larger, in-ground, storm water drain pipe that allowed neighborhood runoff water to cross through my property to a nearby drain ditch. A lot of work to say the least. Ryan and his crew knocked it all out in less than one 8 hour shift! Raked up the old mulch and wood chips, cut the roots out, cut the old turf off with a sod cutter, loaded up the debris and hauled it all away. Dug up the old drain pipe, installed one 3 times its size, smoothed off the entire yard, brought in new sod and laid it down nice, neat and tight. Even though it was hard work, they all kept a sense of humor through out the day. I should mention that I had never used a landscape company previously, so I did not know where to start. I called 4 other companies in addition to AB requesting a site visit and a quote. These were companies that showed up in a generic Google search. One said they would come out, but never did. One said, No, we cant do that, but we can cut your grass! Two others said they would get a quote to me in a couple of days. Never heard anything back from them. Not even a thanks, but no thanks. That tells me all they want to do is cherry-pick the easy stuff. Beware people... Beware.
