On June 28, 2023, 18 pallets of sod was delivered for installation by All Summer Landscape for our home. We paid $600/pallet for the sod to ASL. A week prior they also installed a new irrigation system. We were told that chicken poop would be laid down for better nitrogen content before laying the sod. No chicken poop was used--sod laid on top of the native soil which they called trash dirt. At ~6:30 PM they packed up the truck with approximately 1.5-2 pallets of sod (we paid for) and left for the day (see pics). The yard initially looked good but began to struggle in spots within a week. On Aug 22 the foreman (Jimmy) came to look at the lawn and indicated it was water rot and to cut back on irrigation. It was fungus & not water rot. No instructions were given on what to do when it was installed putting our new lawn at risk. We had him do a new quote for more sod on an area that we purposely omitted (1st time) and he indicated he'd give us a $600 credit for the pallets of grass they took away. I asked about the chicken poop missing and no response was ever given (by Jimmy or owners). I emailed the owners several times between June and September asking for a refund (instead of a credit to a future job), asking why the chicken poop or no underlayment was used, and why the grass was dying. I also informed them of water hammer occurring from the irrigation system and that it needs to be addressed (again--both to Jimmy and the owners) to avoid damage to the system or to our house plumbing. We have other complaints I can't fit here (e.g. excessive change order cost for adding a zone of irrigation). I've also asked for warranty information and copies of paperwork signed and none have been provided. We are seeking a refund on the sod taken, compensation to have 3rd party come fix the water hammer, fair compensation for no chicken poop, copies of paperwork, and $50 for ~12 bags of top soil they used to install sod correctly in places (with our permission). GOOD: Jimmy the foreman was great to work with, the bushes / short trees they installed are great, and the leveling job was a little better than adequate.
Jimmy and his employees did a fantastic job replacing 3 trees adding a few plants and putting rock around my house and a couple of flower beds. He also added some sifted dirt in an area that needed it. He was very conscious to make sure we got plum trees that didn’t get deceased easily. They also did a great job cleaning up the 2 stumps they had to ground deeper. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
Great service, customer service and communication. Easy of business along with quality of work is exceptional. Very pleasant experience. Michael was imaginative & took the time to investigate what we wanted & made suggestions to enhance our ideas. Michael supervised his landscapers throughout the project to insure that they followed his exact landscaping instructions. We are very happy with work All Summer Landscaping did & they corrected last year's landscaping errors from a different landscaper. They are really good guys, super nice, did everything they said they would, and got it done on time.
Great company to have all your landscape needs handled! Justin and his multiple crews keep customer satisfaction a top priority! I have used this company for 40 rental properties that I have needed maintained. Very little issues in the last 7 years of doing business with them. I highly recommend this landscape company.
My wife and I used All Summer Landscaping earlier this summer and wanted to show you the HORRIBLE results of that work. All Summer Landscaping was asked to sod our upper yard, and instead of prepping it before laying the sod they just showed up and layed it directly on top of our old grass. In the process they also buried our sprinkler heads that they were to de-winterize before laying the sod. Needless to say all the sod began dying immediately and within weeks we were left with this in our upper backyard. Both the owner and his manager agreed it was their error and they would fix it. That was 3+ months later there has been no fix. However, recently the owner asked if we would update our review to be more positive he would come and fix our lawn. We agreed and removed all reviews, as we felt it was misleading to put positive reviews when we've yet to get our lawn replaced. UPDATE 09-21-18: Owner has ignored our attempts to settle this situation as we removed all reviews, in the hopes we could settle this amicably. It appears now that he has no intention of honoring his end of the deal. Wish you luck if you use this company.
Super happy with all the work done by All Summer! They did irrigation for us as well as several tree plantings and sod prep work. Justin and the guys were very responsive and the crews were respectful, hard working, and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. Would recommend to anyone!

We recently installed a pool and completely replaced all of our landscaping. Justin and his crew were able to be flexible around our other subcontractors and be there when I needed them even though we had to reschedule several times. Once we could give them access, they got the job done quickly, professionally and at a reasonable price. We have since hired them to provide year round maintenance. I would highly recommend All Summer to anyone who is in need of reliable, fairly priced lawn care.

Cant even get them to answer the phone. I never understand how companies like this stay in business. Willing to spend a ton of money to landscape my property but on several attempts to call I got voicemail is full, second time someone picked up then hung up the phone, and third time someone driving along picked up the phone and all I heard was the radio playing. PAY SOMEONE TO SIT IN THE OFFICE AND ANSWER THE PHONE, you really think I am going to pay several thousands of dollars to have you landscape my yard when you cant even get your phone figured out?
Hands down the most responsive and reliable landscaping service we have ever used. We are going on four years of using them for both business and our personal landscaping. Keep up the good work!

To anyone contemplating using All Summer. I would strongly recommend that you only pay upon successful completion of the work. We have been asking for them to come fix their install issues for grass and they have refused to do anything. Multiple calls in to the owner are ignored and when we speak to the receptionist, she simply says we will be put on the schedule, but nobody shows up. We are left with pooling water, dead grass, and small sinkholes due to the shoddy installation and their refusal to fix anything. Go somewhere else or hold payment until they actually successfully finish. If by chance the company wants to stand by their services, I welcome you to reach out to us and fix the issues. UPDATE: 04/17/20: All summer came out and fixed the issues.
I would give 10 star if possible based on quality of work and pricing!
I scheduled an appointment with All Summer Landscape last week, 4-10-19, for them to come review my landscape project. I gave them my address. According to google maps they are 20 minutes from my home. Our appointment was scheduled for 9:30 this morning, 4-16-19. I stayed home from work this morning in order to meet with them. I received a call at 8:16 canceling the appointment. The reason for the cancellation... they said they dont service my area. Its fine and fair for them to choose where they do business. Its very frustrating and costly for them to cancel at the last minute, especially when they had a choice a week ago to do so. Perhaps this review will save someone else some frustration and money by knowing the right questions to ask.
This company did an amazing job. The sod job was a bit underestimated. They rectified the error and we are very happy with the follow up and correction. I recommend this company for all sod jobs and welcome inquiries into the quality of their work. These are pro s and care about customer satisfaction.
If we could give 10 stars we would!!! The guys were professional and made sure their work did not interfere with our patients coming in and out of our office. Would highly recommend them!

I could not have been more pleased with their work and professionalism. They showed up when promised and honestly I was able to do all of it over the phone, describing what my vision for the yard was to look like. Clearly they understood what I wanted and it was completed to my satisfaction.

Set a time for Justin to come give us a quote and he never showed. We called and were told he was stuck in traffic but we had to call to find that out. Gave him the benefit of the doubt and set another time for the following day and another no show. No call, nothing. Just didn t show! We realize that this is a very busy time of year in this type of business and we are just a drop in the bucket for him but our time and money is just as valuable as his. If you aren t commercial or have a large job for him , might want to think twice .
I rarely, if ever, write reviews but felt compelled to this time. Called All Summer in early March to get an estimate on a small retaining wall project and some spring cleanup. They sent a rep out that day (impressive). He was great, informative, gave me a good price on the spot and said well let you know when you are on the schedule. Now it is July and they still have not shown up to do the job. They did call once to ask if Id sent my deposit. When I told her I hadnt because no one had ever asked me to she said it was no problem and theyd let me know when I was on the schedule. Ive called several times and they always seem confused, cant find my work order, etc. but that they would (wait for it)...let me know when I was on the schedule. I realize mine is a small job, not much $$ to make, but if you say youll do the work, at least show up and do it.
I cant give a performance review since they never kept their appointments with us! They didnt show up for the first appt..even after I left 2 messages wondering where they were. When we called them the next day they said they called and left a VM to tell us to take a photo; we never got that message When we set up a 2nd appt they said a photo of what we wanted would suffice but my husband told them no, he wants to show the work needed in person...reasonable request right? They didnt show for that appt either. I called the next day expressing my frustration and disappointment and was told the driver had a car accident but they didnt have a chance to call us but they were going to today. They offered to set a 3rd appt and I reasonably declined after wishing the driver a good recovery.

Company did not do what was agreed upon. Called numerous times to try to get this company to keep weeds sprayed and was promised they would come that week never showed. Just said forget it and want do business with this company again. Sorry really liked owner but need people that will do what they are suppose to.

The employees haveno regard for neighborhood children. They drive too fast through neighborhoods & the owner doesn t seem very concerned.

All Summer Landscaping planted several evergreen trees and limelight hydrangeas and 10 Leland spruces around our pool area and about a month later we discovered that the evergreen bushes and the Leland spruces were turning brown and possibly dying. I contacted Justin to talk to him about it and to see what he could do or figure out what was wrong. Justin came back to my home to look at the trees and took pictures and sent those pictures to the nursery where he gets his trees and plants from and it turned out that it was an airborne disease! So Justin told my husband and I he would get us all new evergreen bushes and Leland spruces and we decided to go with a different type tree and even had them plant 13 more trees and it looks great! Justin was diligent about taking care of the situation and made it right. Great job!

Not happy with ALL SUMMER LANDSCAPING AND LAWN CARE!! Justin planted 10 trees in our yard in late June, 2016, (10 footers) and 9 died within one month. After installation, he didnt come back until 24 DAYS LATER to stake them up straight. By then, they were almost dead. He also never trimmed the burlap or added better soil when they were installed. Then, he blamed us for watering them too much - even though that was exactly what he told us to do. Couldnt even get him to come back to look at the dead trees or even take them away for us. After multiple attempts to contact him, with him promising to come over and then never showing up, we finally had to pay someone else to do that. Cant stress enough how unhappy we were with the job that he did. Hope we can save others from making the same mistake... Mike and Jamie Williams, Murfreesboro, TN

During our recent ice storm I contacted Mr Huffman about our 3 pine trees that fell. Mr. Huffman went out of his way in the snow to give us an estimate, not only was his price good but his crew was out the same day to clean the debris. I called Justin about cleaning out my beds in the front of the house as it was just overgrown with weeds and looked dilapidated. He was able to come out the same date and gave me a very affordable quote and much better than others. They were able to complete the job very quickly and the guys that came out were very knowledgeable and highly professional. They did an AMAZING job and my neighbor even came out and got a card. Years ago before All Summer Lawn Care started maintaining my property I would stress when I would have the time to cut my lawn. Now I know the All Summer crew will come out weekly and take care of everything and I do not have to worry about my lawn! Justin and his team are very professional and do excellent work. All Summer Landscaping has been mowing our 5 acres and all of the landscaping throughout our yard. Previously using Mr. Huffman we had planted two Magnolia trees of which both had died. He planted the third tree and it has done wonderful and has survived even the hottest months of TN. He also put a pond around our swing outside and we spend most of our evenings there listening to the babbling spring and enjoying the beautiful views of our yard. Now we frequently have guest for grill outs and sitting around the fire pit. Most of our friends and church members are also now customers and we would highly recommend him to anyone! Very Happy Customers.
All Summer has handled my landscaping needs since I moved to Tennessee. They have taken care of my weekly lawn maintenance and have re-landscaped my entire lot. They planted evergreens around my entire back yard, making sure they were properly planted, staked and fertilized. They also removed overgrown and unwanted trees and shrubs from the front, replacing them with a stylish new landscape. These guys are true professionals - courteous, prompt and dependable. I know that if I ever have an issue, Justin Huffman will take care of it immediately. I highly recommend All Summer to anyone in the Middle Tennessee area.
