Julio and David came today to fix our sprinkler system. Some of the lines were broken because of a new fence and driveway that was just installed. Julio seemed to have a 6th sense about where the break in the system was. He was quick to find it then they both effectively fixed it. They were very friendly and easy to communicate with. We recently moved into this home and needed to learn about the zones. I highly recommend. He even opened my pickle jar for me that was like breaking into Fort Knox!

American National Sprinkler & Lighting installed a sprinkler system and low voltage lights. Over-all I was pleased with the service. The projects were managed by two different individuals. Laury handled the sprinkler installation and was very thorough in communication and guidance of the installation crew. Laury was onsite the day of the installation and guided the installers through the layout and insured that they knew where all components and sprinkler parts were to be installed. The sprinkler installation went smoothly and the installers did a very good job. The lighting job was handled by a different individual. I dont remember the name, that is probably due to his lack of communication. While we are happy with the lighting I was more involved with the installation than I would have expected. The manager that quoted me the job and drew up the plans did not show up on the day of installation. Installers were not sure of the layout and I had to explain this to them. I told them where I thought the sprinkler lines were and asked them to be careful when burying the lighting wires. I asked the installers to check with me before leaving...they did not do that. The next day when the sprinklers came on, one of the lines had been cut and I had to request a service call. Initially I was told service would be 2-3 week out. When I pushed that this was caused by a new installation I eventually received service within the week. Overall I am pleased with American National Sprinkler and Lighting, but would advise future customers to ask that sales personnel be onsite at the start of a project so that they can explain the design to the installation team.

Recently had an issue with a backflow valve that was leaking badly. ANS&L came out on a Sunday AM to check it out. Turns out that the value had accumulated debris, which they cleaned out, getting me functional again. To have that type of prompt service during COVID-19, when operations are clearly being affected, speaks to their commitment to their customers. ANS&L has been consistent in responsiveness and upkeep of my in-ground sprinkler system, and I cannot speak highly enough of my satisfaction with the company, the staff, and the quality of their products. Alex came out to my house on a Saturday evening to fix my sprinklers because of the heat we have had. He not only fixed everything, he walked me through my entire yard and repositioned a few sprinkler heads and showed me a few tip and tricks on my control panel. All of this on a late Saturday evening to take care of the customer.

Easily one of the best decisions I ever made having a sprinkler system installed. We dont have a very big yard, but its layout is tricky for hand watering. We do have a large planting bed with a lot flowers and vegetables, as well as a bunch of hanging baskets. The system that American National Sprinkler installed covers everything and all from my phone via the app! Everyone that I dealt with from the company were incredibly nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. My system was installed less than two weeks ago and already my lawn looks as though it wasnt having underground pipes shoved into it. Ive been a loyal customer for 9+ years with NO issues. Last fall, my system was shut off day after deep freeze. owner proceeded to tell me that its my responsibility to shut off system before freeze even though secretary clearly told me it would be fine and that it has to be a deep freezer for straight 48 hours. Bruce the owner didnt back up what was told to me and simply informed me that ultimately its my responsibility to take care of my house which was very insulting. Very arrogant man and needs to reset and rethink how he communicates with loyal customers. Back flow was fixed and I paid for repairs without any further discussions or issues. Then I received a letter 3 months later stating that they are unable to continue servicing my sprinkler with no reason given. I called and owner couldnt state valid reason. Only leaving me to believe that he is very unprofessional and he is running a business thinking that he can turn away loyal customers who attempt to contact him to discuss and/or resolve misunderstandings or issues. Bruce, this is what business is all about...maybe you will learn that as you mature and stop being so arrogant. So be warned...loyal customers, Bruce resolves conflicts by sending you a letter that his company is unable to service you anymore and that another company would be a better choice for you. I did see another review of a customer stating that they received the same letter which is evidence that Bruce really doesnt know how to treat loyal customers that have helped make his business grow. Keep doing this Bruce and it will back fire on you and your company eventually.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. When we contacted them this summer we had to wait but they gave us great insentives. They installed in one day, very little mess. The only thing I would suggest is that they give instructions before they leave on the app and how it works. Our lawn has never looked better!

My initial experience with American National is exceptional. Laury Feldman is very knowledgable and was able to review the various options for irrigating my lawn and landscaping. He was responsive before, during, and after the installation. The system was installed in a single visit. The installation crew was professional and hardworking. During a second visit the crew made minor adjustments to properly water my newly laid sod. Brett Gold provided a detailed overview of the system (the technology they use is top-notch) and was also very responsive to my questions following the install. We needed a system that would take care of our lawn and planting beds when we were not around (or just too lazy) to water them ourselves. The system we got and the process to get here has more than met our expectations. My only sore point? Like most tool junkies I like to have an excuse to play with my new toys: So far I have not had an excuse to touch anything!

We have used American National for both sprinkler and lighting services. They installed our 26 zone watering system and have been maintaining it since 2008. We have been pleased with the process of scheduling the service and their execution. They show up at the scheduled time and complete the service quickly. I have also requested them to modify some sprinklers during the service and they completed it so they did not have to come out a second time. As our plants grew over the years I had them come out and modify elevations and sprinkler heads to better water the areas. While they did not install our lighting system I have used them exclusively when we have had a wiring or lighting issue. We are fortunate to have the same lighting service technician coming out since he is aware of the wiring and transformer layout and can solve issues quickly. We have no reason or interest in seeking out an alternative provider since they do a great job.

Every single person who works for them from office and sales to the service staff is so nice, professional and a pleasure to work with. Plus they are ALWAYS available. One time ComEd ripped up my lawns and put down new sod while I was out of town. I called American National and they sent someone to my house that day to reset my controller with new watering times so the sod wouldn t die. This past summer someone working at my house broke one of my sprinkler hoses. I called the emergency line and a senior executive at the company called me back immediately. He arranged for someone to come to my house to fix everything. They are the best!! I highly recommend American National Sprinkler!!!

The guys were very accommodating as I worked with them to locate exactly where I wanted each zone and the placement and type of heads. Im very pleased with their work and continue to use them whenever I need a service call.

American National has been very reliable in opening our sprinkler system every year. Weve also had a couple instances where weve needed to change the layout of the system. American National was prompt in relaying the tubing without much of a mess in the yard. They are also proactive in finding and fixing any broken sprinkler heads when the system is opened each spring. Everything form their pro-activeness for getting ahead of problems, to fixing pumps that had defects with no charge to me, replacing sprinkler heads with no charge to me, to remodeling the sprinkler system design when we wanted to add a porch to our backyard. The same guys comes every year very promptly and professionally and they do tremendous work. The system itself works non stop with no issues ever. This was a fair price especially for the longevity I get out of it. Terrible customer service. Last year, we received a letter from them saying they will no longer service our sprinkler system because its outdated and they no longer carry the parts. We asked them about upgrading and they refused to help. Yesterday, I called to ask if they can mark up where our system is for a fencing contractor and they refused to help even though theyve serviced our system for several years!

We have been using this company for years and there have been virtually no problems. The people in the office are extremely nice and professional while the crews that service the system are very hard working and informed of the products. They are always two steps ahead of any problem and always send a friendly reminder for any work that needs to be done. Their prices were extremely competitive and the work they did was phenomenal. We now have perfect water coverage in the back that we never had from the prior installation done by the other sprinkler company. A sent out a couple quotes for some landscape lighting work. American National came out, was very professional, and gave great advice on what should go where. I also got another quote, from a much smaller shop which was not as professional, that was significantly cheaper. However, when I asked that shop to re-quote using the hardware American National recommended, they actually re-quoted at a higher price. I decided to go with American National once I felt comfortable with the price, specifically because of their professionalism. Im glad I did. They came out, flagged the properly for where they would put the lights, and gave me the opportunity to okay things. After installation, they informed me they were coming back out to replace a light that had a bad connection -- the light was working fine and I would have never known -- so I was really impressed with the honesty. I also requested one more light to be added to the landscaping after seeing it at night. They came out a couple of times to make sure it was installed in the proper location, as well as adjusted some of the other lights to improve location. Finally, I was interested in hooking up the landscaping to my home automation, and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable in steering me towards the best solution. All in all these guys are competitively priced for the hardware they provide, do top notch work, and are vested in making sure the customer is 100% happy with the solution. I will definitely be going back to them for any landscape lighting needs I have.

After 10 years it was time to replace some lights and re-configure areas of light coverage due to tree growth and landscape changes. After 10 years of dependable sprinkler performance, it was time to change the configuration due to more recent plantings. Laury came out and made several water saving suggestions and wrote a reasonable estimate, which was accepted. The work was done withing a week, by an excellent crew and in the time estimated. Couldnt have been more satisfied.

Laury Feldman, VP of American National Sprinklers, happened to notice an area that was installed by them a year ago that needed attention and he emailed that information. He had his office call me to have a technician meet me. The same day, their crew increased the number of zones to assure proper sprinkler head extension, a very laborious job. The correction was done in about 3 hours and all covered under warranty! They then checked every one of my 13 zones for proper coverage and made adjustments where necessary, as I had done some landscaping/planting of trees after the initial installation. All of the attention, installation of new zones and re-calibration was done efficiently, timely and cheerfully!! I could not be more pleased at their professionalism and recommend them without any reservation!

To say my experience with American National has been great is an understatement. I have been a customer for years. The office staff and on site employees are always professional, courteous and knowledgeable. My landscape lighting recently went out after a landscaper was doing work at my home. Of course the landscaper denied he did anything to cause the outage. I called American National and an employee by the name of Marteen was sent to my home. He worked so hard to find out the cause of the malfunction, using skills that he obviously obtained over the years and found the cause. The landscaper had cut my light line several inches below the ground some 40 yards from the lights that were not working. How he found it is beyond me. He used logic to figure out where the line was possible cut and ultimately found the location. I was extremely impressed and just wanted people to know that I highly recommend American National for your lighting and sprinkler needs. Great company with wonderful employees.
