Tom's Landscaping & Irrigation in Mukilteo

Wanted to hire locally, so I hired Tom’s Landscaping, Job was for retaining wall and paver work that was predicated on Tom’s claim that deep “foundation, foundation, foundation” and drainage work was required. After discovering that such foundation and drain work couldn’t be accomplished as originally anticipated, a simpler, less comprehensive approach was used with no adjustment in price. Tom’s Landscaping justified their original price by stating they (1) worked very hard, (2) worked on the weekend (which I did not request), (3) business owner purchased lunch for workers. Total effort was 7 days landscaping, and 2 days of pick-up. What’s more, clean-up was incomplete, leaving my yard littered with crushed rock which I’ll have to pay someone else to haul away. They didn’t offer to make it right, nor did they reduce their price. Then, after I paid, I reviewed their invoice in more detail, and noticed they slipped an additional $320 into a $30,000+ bill. Wow, it turned out to be a bad experience: I’ll never hire these guys again. And, if you are considering them, BUYER BEWARE!

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Totally unreliable.

Tom came over and told me everything that was wrong with my landscaping. Maybe to his professional eye it’s flawed but I happen to like my garden and didn’t appreciate the condescending tone. He said he’d get back to me but never did.

Wow, what a great guy Tom is. I had a backyard pond pump go out and called 5-10 folks for help and only Tom spent time with me on the phone to help me even though he couldn't do the job himself. I will call him again and appreciate his great customer service.

I contacted Tom about wanting to put a sprinkler system into my backyard. He came out right away to take a look. He understood what I was looking to do and immediately had this "vision" of what it would take. Tom and his crew showed up promptly on the scheduled time, worked hard and did an excellent clean up. Reading my review right now doesn't do justice to how happy I am about my whole experience. Thank you Tom and crew.

Tom replaced our old, tired lawn with new sod a couple months ago. Tom did an excellent job scheduling us in. He and his team were on time and worked hard to complete in one day and cleaned everything up so we'll you almost wouldn't know they were here! Lawn looks awesome; So glad we did it and would highly recommend Tom and team!
