This tree service is everything you need (Arborists,insured, tree knowledge , etc.) and more. Our neighbor referred them and we could not be more pleased. We had a great experience with New Leaf! They gave us great, honest advice about what trees needed to taken out versus which ones could just be trimmed. They showed great care for the health of the trees and did a great job cleaning up after themselves.

We live on a lot with many trees. Additionally our backyard backs up to Boone Halls forest. So keeping trees thinned and crowned on our side is important for home safety as well as for yard health. Ive worked with a number of tree companies over the years to do this. All are just tree companies. Only one is truly a professional arborist company with an ownership who knows what theyre doing, who understands and practices full transparency, and who provides honest quality service. This company would be New Leaf. Ive used them for both elective tree removal and post-storm emergency tree service. I also have friends Ive referred them to. In each case theyve been quick to respond, arrive when they tell you theyll arrive, provide a competitive price, and leave the site better than it was when they arrived (including the street area). None of this happens by accident. It takes leadership, supervision, and discipline to have a workforce work in this way. Also a rarity with any outdoor service companies, they understand that you have neighbors and that you have to live them everyday. New Leaf starts work at an hour that isnt objectionable to your neighbors. Most impressively they recently visited our retired neighbors before starting work to ask for permission to drag branches across their front yard before doing so. She was so impressed by the gesture, shell be using New Leaf moving forward, as well.

This is what I wrote last year. Extremely satisfied with this company. Had them clean up some palm trees for me. Very professional. The crew was very nice and did an extremely thorough job and the cleanup was more than I expected. Would definitely hire again. This is what I am writing today after yesterdays work. 1. Watch the video on their website. I can say from experience it is all very true. You understand how hard they work to do right by their customers and it shows in their staff as well 2. They did 5 of my palm trees again this year and did a fantastic job. One of mine is a Washingtonian and is about 50 feet tall now, so no way a ladder will work. What I love is that they use the best equipment, the guys are very well trained and they dont just cut the palms. They trim up the boots nice and leave them with some shape. Jose and his team were here this time. Jose is awesome. He truly knows what he is doing and excellent at his craft. They were fast, clean , respectful and did great work. Marcello and Jessica (owners) are both great people and I have used them Id say 5 times over the last several years to do all types of tree work for me. Even when I had some small issues with some driveway damage, they handled it professionally and made it right immediately. In short, great company. You pay for what you get. There are smaller cheaper companies (and pine straw guys that use ladders and hand saws), but the job that New Leaf does is second to none that I have seen around. If you want your job done right the first time, call them.

I dont do reviews, but felt like I had to...they were amazing. Within minutes they were hard at work... and did more than I asked. In this day and age, you have to truly appreciate how professional they were.

Fantastic company! Jessica and Marcello are great to work with and very responsive to questions and concerns. This is the second time Ive hired New Leaf to remove trees from my yard. This time I had (3) 100 ft. pines, a river birch and a maple removed. 5 trees were cut, mulched, and carried away in 4 hours! Its so fascinating to watch the process, the tying and securing of limbs, .... each employee has a specific role that it is well executed which makes for great efficiency and safety. Pablo was very meticulous with grinding the tree roots, particularly on my river birch, all the while being careful to avoid electrical and cable lines. I will use them again.

New Leaf has done two jobs at my home, including removing tall pine trees and grinding the stumps plus removing a huge live oak limb at the 3rd story level plus general live oak trimming and pruning. I highly recommend them and will continue to work with them when I have tree trimming / cutting needs that I cant handle myself. They are a 1st class operation with fair prices.

Update - 2 years later -You and your guys so rocked this project! Your workers were very courteous, cleaned up the yard like they never were here. They moved some planters that were too heavy for me to lift and then put them back...who does that in todays world??? Thank you and Marcello. You should be very proud of the work you do! I used New Leaf to remove some pretty big trees that were close to my house and would be an issue in a big storm. New Leaf gave me a great price, was on time on the date they said they would be there and were true professionals in their trade. Besides the tree removal, they were attentive to safety, cleanup and left the property in perfect condition.

Cameron and his helper were both vey polite and professional. I had a Water Oak that needed to be trimmed away from the house and Cameron was very precise not to cut too much. The entire job including cleanup took less than an hour and was exactly what I wanted and the best price. This is the second time Ive used New Leaf Tree service and will definitely use them again if I have future needs.

This company came to trim my grand live oak. I love this tree and was afraid to hire just anyone to trim it because it is the focal point of my yard and landscape. Nonetheless I got a few estimates. New Leaf was on time and professional and the bid was so competitive so I chose them. Moses and his crew did an amazing job with the work. He and his crew are like tree artists, but their paintbrush is a chainsaw! Ill never hire anyone else to touch my live oak!

Incredible A+ experience from beginning to end. I had 6 different tree service companies come quote removal of 2 large trees and trimming of 2 large trees in my yard. After calling New Leaf Marcello was in my yard within the hour! They were the most knowledgeable, responsive and professional company I spoke with; Jessica even wrote a letter to the town of MP to explain why the trees needed to be removed. On the day of work the crew arrived early and fit all the work and then some into the day. I was blown away by the thorough clean-up. OVERALL: Highly recommend New Leaf. I m impressed! Everybody has been so PROFESSIONAL and detail oriented. They were here right when they said they would be and had a large crew to get things done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We had a massive dead tree covered in vines, located deeply between three houses; five different arborists & tree companies said either no way or we cannot do this job, then we managed to get a quote from one company, but they wanted $15,500. I found a coupon for New Leaf, said weve got nothing to lose, might as well call, and they came out the very next morning and gave me a quote for $5500!?! Literally saved the company 10 grand like a boss, but if we hadnt removed the tree, it would have been far more than 10 grand, as that thing was going to come down real soon. The owner came over and showed me a video of a split going all the way to the top. Seriously, I cannot recommend this company enough. I called them the other day to come remove a stump at our other business location, and shall I ever need anything AT ALL done to a tree, hell, even if I have a question about a tree in general, they will be the first I call.

I have lived in my house for 10 years and have had at least 5 tree services throughout the years come in a cut the trees back from the house and clean up the limbs in other trees. I thought these lawn service were doing a good job. Then New Leaf Tree Service came to the house and I found out that I had been missing out for 10 years. They did an absolutely a phenomenal job. The trees have never looked better or cleaner! They did just a fantastic job. Its hard to explain, but even my neighbor commented on how they did such a good job. Lawrence who was running the crew was a very nice guy. He surely has a good group of fellas working with him. One thing I found pretty amusing is that when they left, my lawn looked better than after my lawn care company leaves. So New Leaf even did a better job that my lawn care people. Hilarious.

New Leaf took down a huge gum tree in my back yard. They were so hardworking and professional. From the first phone call to the stumpgrinding they were on point. Price gouging people after Hurricane Matthew. Do not use!!!!

Prompt and courteous service. Affordable rates. Excellent work. Exceeded our expectations. I called 7 tree service companies in Mt P for estimates on a days worth of stump grinding and tree work. New Leaf was the only company that set an actual appointment time for the estimate. Marcello showed up the next morning on time and I promptly received a fair estimate via email from Jessica. They fit our project into their busy schedule for the following Saturday. Marcello arrived with the team in the morning and we went over everything before they started. The team did a thorough and efficient job taking care to avoid any damage to our driveway, foundation, underground utilities and even roots on healthy trees. Marcello came back to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction and the team was on their way after cleaning up the job site.

Bad tree service After scheduling appointment with New Leaf Tree service to grind up some tree stomps for us they did not show up at our home for 2 schedule appointments. I had to call each day to remind the owner Jessica that they were suppose to be at our home and grind our tree stomps. I also told her husband we needed it done on first appointment since we had landscaping being done next day. After calling several times and leaving voice mails I finally got Jessica on the phone. When she called me back it was from a mobile phone # in Florence which was odd since their business is in MT Pleasant? Her excuse was on the first appointment they were delay on another job and I asked why no one called me back and got no answer but sorry and they would be their first thing tomorrow morning to grind your stomps. Next day got home that afternoon New leaf not shown up again and no phone call sorry we are running late. Had call her again several times and the excuse this time was she had scheduling error. After they finally got to our home they were grinding one of our tree stomps they hit our irrigation line and when we called and left them message about the irrigation line.WE were told they would not reimburse us for the irrigation line. Would highly recommend using a different tree service!

I called New leaf tree service for an estimate to take out some pines at my house in James island. They came out the same day gave me a quote which I accepted on the spot because it was lower than the other ones I got.The guys did an awesome job taking out the tress and cleaning up.It was fun to watch!
