I don’t usually write reviews but I’m so happy I wanted to share! John and his crew were amazing! First- they are very prompt! If they are going to be late- John communicates and lets you know the ETA! John is young/ but very knowledgeable, confident and incredibly polite! He gave me advice, offered to go pick something up for me- out of the way/ that I really wanted for my yard the day before my daughter’s wedding!! He was so kind to go above and beyond! We had a party Saturday- big party! It was mostly outside and we had so many compliments on the transformation!!! He and his men are amazing and will definitely use them again!!!
John and his team have done two projects for us now and we couldn't be happier. The first was to install a french drain system that has literally brought our yard back to life after constant flooding killed it. The second job was an extension of an existing hardscape patio and they did an excellent job with that as well. Would definitely call them again in the future.
When Meadows Pool and Spa abandoned my project midway through, I had to find a reliable source to finish the work. John Bryant consulted with me to find the best possible solution to my situation, provided a detailed and fair quote for the work, then knocked out the work without the never ending delays that Meadows caused. What took hours of heartache and scheduling four times (only to be canceled) with Meadows Pool and Spas, only took John and his crew three days. They left the site clean and debris free, moved leftover materials where I needed them, and ensured that I was completely satisfied with the work. I have already referred Tidewater to many of my neighbors and I'll be calling anytime I have the need! I'll be loading in pictures once my portion of the project is complete and everything is cleaned up.
John and the Tidewater Landscape crew did an amazing job designing and installing a new fence at our house in Hanahan. Super impressed with the quality of work and extremely happy with the result! The masonry and carpentry is very well done and we'll be using their services again in the near future. Highly recommend them to anyone in the Charleston area!
John and his crew did an excellent job at my home. They created a beautiful paver walkway from my back porch to my pool. That was done so well that I also had them make me a paver walkway connecting to my driveway. I also had several pallets of sod laid in my yard. John and his crew were hard working and very knowledgeable of all aspects of landscaping and design. I would highly recommend tidewater landscaping to anyone looking for new sod installation and paver walkways or patios.
I hired John and his crew to do a mulch job for me. The beds needed a lot of work. He dug up the weeds and layed down a weed fabric and then layed mulch. The guys worked hard and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend John and his crew.
I highly recommend Tidewater Landscapes. While we had a large project that included: installation of several retaining walls, paver installation, drainage work, and landscaping, John and his crew were up to the task. John's communication was excellent every step of the way. His friendly demeanor, flexibility, and professionalism really shown through. I met John at one of my Downtown listings. He was there to quote a custom patio installation for the buyer who had it under contract. John handled himself well, so I asked if he could look and quote some work at my home patio. He provided a reasonable quote for the work at my home, we accepted, and he put us on the schedule. We are very pleased with the all the work and recommend his services.
John and his crew just did an outstanding job on our house in Mount Pleasant. They were on time, courteous , and finished the job with great quality . I could not recommend more. A great experience.
I hired Tidewater Landscape to complete a pool coping repair. John, the owner, was very responsive and professional. It is hard to find someone who will actually respond to a request for services (I reached out to five companies. Two did not respond, and two took weeks to respond), so I very much appreciate John s communication. He and his men did a great job and I will definitely use them again for any hardscape needs.
John and another kid came out on a Tuesday to look at our property and discuss what we wanted to have done. He did not appear to make any notes. Before they left, we were told 2-3 days for the estimate to come. On the 3rd day (Friday), I reached out midday following up. I did not receive a response until midday Saturday from John saying they d get it over ASAP. After 2 more days go by (now it s Monday, so 6 days from the time they came to our house), I reached out again midday asking about the estimate. I never received a response that time and haven t since. Poor customer service they couldn t even send over an estimate!!!
I had an extensive drainage project and John and his crew did an excellent job! On time, economical and John is such a great guy to do business with. I d hire him again in a minute.
I had the best experience with John and his team at Tidewater Landscape. I live in Mt. Pleasant and just completed a backyard paver project with them and it turned out better than I planned. Super easy and stress free. Completed on time and very tidy crew. Highly recommend!

John and tidewater landscape did a new driveway and hydroseeding of my property here in Summerville and did a great job. It was big project him and crew worked hard getting it done.
I highly recommend Tidewater. I reached out for edging, mulching, creating new mulch beds, installing some new sod and palm tree trimming in North Mount Pleasant. The crew did a great job. John was great to work with and was very responsive to my questions and requests.
Had a great experience! We wanted to expand our small poured cement patio and add a sidewalk. We called for an estimate & they were able to start within 2 weeks. They did such a great job that we then had them sod our entire back yard. They were always on time and even stayed late to finish after the cement delivery was late. John went above and beyond and set up our irrigation system while we were on vacation to make sure our sod was taken care of. Would definitely recommend!

We couldn t be more pleased with John & his guys! We had a large drainage issue that they helped us mitigate while making our yard look beautiful with river rock. They did such a great job that we hired them for more of the yard with rock and mulch and plan to use them again when we tackle the backyard. Thanks for all your hard work!

I used this company to clear out weeds, trim bushes, and install new mulch. They did an excellent job, worked extremely hard, and were very professional. I will use them in the future for all my landscape needs!

Tidewater did a wonderful job transforming our backyard of grass into a beautiful place we can use all year round. From the start of working with Tidewater they made the whole process easy. They secured the quotes for the gas company for a gas line to our fire pit, secured quotes for the electrical to support our Pergola outlets, and took care of our HOA application process. Other companies told me I needed to take care of all that myself. Their team was very hospitable and kept our property clean throughout the whole building process. When little things came up that needed to be addressed, Tidewater came through and addressed those issues. I am 100% happy with my choice in Tidewater.
