I was paying $100 a visit and the guys did not do glaringly obvious things like remove a low lying dead palm branch or pick up a not-so-big pile of debris. There were also big weeds sticking out of my bush that looked bad that they neglected also. To get those things done I was supposed to call the office and make arrangements so they could charge extra. I am not going to be nickel and dimed nor waste my time to address the simple, easy and obvious. For the price I expect good service. I addressed with the management but they were unyielding so goodbye.

The team did some beautiful work and were a pleasure to have at the house / yard. Good group of people.

While Simply Green responded quickly to my questions and initial needs, I could not communicate with the crew they sent to do the yard work. I specifically stated I did not want mow, blow and go work but a company that would pay attention to my individual gardening needs especially weeding. But that is what I got when they did my yard. When I tried to discuss and even show the crew what I wanted done, they did not understand. Perhaps that kind of gardening service no longer exists. I informed Conner of my issues and I will give them another chance as they did a good job, but I need to be able to communicate with the crew onsite.

12/30/23 Still waiting on the owner to provide contact info or reach out to us as past clients. Have a feeling we shouldnt hold our breath... Final update 8/27/23 I see that the owner has replied here and more than happy to reach out again if they provide contact info. Issue was never resolved and Simply Green stopped responding to our email communication. We ultimately paid the balance even though we felt the work was not completed and we were very unhappy because they virtually ghosted us and were just waiting on the 90 days to pass to send us to collections for it. Update 6/2/23: Unfortunately Simply Green is still not making any attempts to resolve our issues and had since attempted to charge our account without our authorization. We are still trying to work with them, however they are being extremely difficult and greatly lacking in their customer service. We are in the middle of a discussion with Simply Green with our project not being completed as described. We have tried to contact them since the day they finished the project on 4/10/23 and they have still not provided us with a response to resolve our issues. We are hoping to come to an agreement with them soon so that we can update this to a 5 star review.

Simply Green completely destroyed my lawn and there workers should take a course in working with landscaping. The workers came to my home on several occasions after a storm and used heavy equipment which tore up my grass and cost me several hundreds of dollars out of pocket to repair. I called several times to let the office manager know the issues. However, the workers didnt care and kept doing it. Also, they billed me multiple times when they didnt even come service my lawn. There were also weeks where they didnt even show up to cut my lawn. When I called, they apologized but still kept missing weeks and I would have to chase them down. I would highly recommend NOT using this landscaping company to service your lawn. They are not skilled and highly unreliable!!

They mowed my lawn instead of my neighbors. They ruined the new sod I had just put down with their ridding lawn mower. They refuse to answer any phone calls or return any messages. They also cut my bushes and left and the cut pieces on the ground for me to pick up. I have it all on camera

Very poor customer service. I have been using this weekly lawn maintenance service since Nov 2021, my agreement states that palm tree trimming one per year is included, when I emailed to schedule, I was sent an invoice for $499. I emailed my agreement back to them & was told they have been under new ownership since Dec 2021 & no longer provide that service, they only contract it out. We were not notified of any changes & as of TODAY, their website still includes tree trimming in their regular maintenance packages. They have had over 6 months & yet their website is still misleading customers. I asked if there was anything they could do to try to remedy this situation & not lose a customer. They said there was nothing they could do. No tiny discount, no extra service, nothing to apologize for their not honoring the agreement and not notifying us 6 months ago about the change.

If I could leave this place zero stars I would! The service I received from this company is unacceptable. I made multiple attempts to work and communicate with this company to improve the service we paid money for. I feel like I was not provided the services that were agreed upon in our contract. Miscommunication with this company resulted in lost time, money, and respect. Multiple emails and calls went unanswered for days to weeks and there were never any corrections made to my yard. I would not recommend this company for landscaping. I am not the only one in my community that feels this way, they are simply one of the cheapest and it shows. We learned our lesson! If you check out the reviews the five star ratings are mainly older ratings. They were under different ownership then.

They miss weeks. They then think it s okay to come twice in a 7 day span to make up for it. Their online billing system is always down and when corrected, it auto-bills with no regard of the weeks they just never showed. When they here, the staff has no idea how to properly mow a lawn and I m not talking NS or EW lines or anything like that, I m talking about adjusting blade heights, they scalp the yard more often than not. They do the services in the incorrect order, so, for example, they blow before they trim, so all the trimmings sit in your driveway and sidewalk. A service company is hired to make life easier, Simply Green simply does the opposite.

We used this company for several months and were always unhappy with the results -- mowing our yard with a weed eater instead of a mower, leaving uncut and uneven grass; forgetting to do half of the things they are paid to do, such as blowing off the back patio or trimming shrubs; charging an excessive fee for what amounted to 15 minutes or so of work from their crew, which was more concerned about rushing to the next job than doing good work. Im sure the owner will come on here and try to discredit this review, as he does other bad reviews, but there are too many landscaping companies in this area to settle for one that overcharges and does a poor job.

If I could have given a negative number I would. This company has a contract with my neighborhood. They do not have a contract with me. Yet today right in front of me they came in my yard and tore it up deliberately with me standing right there. They are terrible at respecting your property. They tear up the grass in my yard and dont even cut what they are supposed to cut. They tore up my yard right in front of me and didnt bat an eye. All they do is spin around on their lawn mowers tearing up yards. They do not care about anything but themselves. The proof is in the evidence and there is a ton of evidence. The neighborhood board, management company as well as this terrible lawn company are aware. Next stop the Better Business Bureau. Buyer beware. They will take advantage of you and tear up your yard. DO NOT USE THEM.

If you care about customer service this company is NOT for you. Did a patio and new landscaping and replaced existing plants. Patio is nice, landscaping is not. This company is big on contracts but it only works one way. They can change things without letting you know. Left existing plants laying on ground for days without replanting. Owner tells me not to worry they will be fine but they aren t. Then they tell you their warranty doesn t cover existing plants (not in contract). No wonder he wasn t concerned about them. If you call them out on the agreed contract you be be berated! Do you homework, speak with companies that they hire. Wish I had it would have saved me from dealing with this rude, arrogant, disrespectful owner.

I would highly recommend Simply Green. They have done both lawn maintenance and landscaping for me and I ve been extremely pleased with their work. Everyone from the office staff, landscape designers and service crews are friendly, respectful and professional. Wonderful company!

Everything about this business was hard to work with. I wanted my beds edged with steel, many new plants installed and old bushes removed. It was hard getting them to come evaluate. The person who came never followed through with the estimate. After trying to contact them multiple times, I was told she no longer worked there. The new person started over and it took forever for the plants to come in. When they bloomed they were not the plants I had ordered and paid for. The matching camellias weren t matching at all. The row of white azaleas had a pink one thrown in. The bushes soon looked bleached from lacebugs, and I was told that it was my job to fix them. They did not return my emails until my grown son called them. They agreed to replace the two incorrect bushes when they came. That was back in early March. No word from them and it s June. I got very little for my $3500!

I just love the enthusiasm by all of the co-workers everybodys so friendly and hard-working and they do a excellent job on the landscaping wonderful edging wonderful pruning ,the yards look lovely

We hired Simply Green Landscaping year had nothing but issues with their company, they were supposed to weed flowerbeds didnt, damaged sprinkler system that we had to pay to have repair not showing up,over billing. We also contract them to build us a fire pit and install sod around the new fire pit and found that they used Infected sod it had dollar weeds. To sum it up we had to hire another company that they recommended to come out and spray for the dollar weed that we had to pay. Still have dollar weed today. I would avoid this company at all means!!!

A crew from Simply Green showed up at my home by mistake. When I realized what was going on, I called their office to let them know what was going on. I offered to pay for their service since they had already started, the person on the phone said not to worry about it and that they would finish the work and head next door. Well they got about half way done and just left. They left trash everywhere and the lawn a mess. I called the office again to let them know that they didnt finish, and again offered to pay. They insisted that they would come right back and complete the work. Well its been over a week, multiple promises and still nothing. I called again on Friday 7/16 and was told the manager would call me first thing Monday morning, well there was no call. I tried to reach out one last time but it seems like they blocked my number. I would not recommend a company that wont fix their own mistake or follow through on the work they assured me would be complete.

This company is not worthy of that one star. They are very unprofessional. I had several missed appointments without a heads up/a call. I travel back and forth for work related reasons, God knows how many times I paid them for services not rendered. Avoid this company! They will drop you without notice if you question their services.

After the last hurricane we were not at home and the cleaned our yard of debris and even replanted a tree in our front yard when the storm blew it down. I have recommended them to my neighbors! Simply Green started taking care of my lawn last spring. Id always done it myself, but had to leave town for a few weeks, and didnt want to return to a jungle. They did such a great job (mowing, leaf blowing, branch trimming) that I never went back to doing it myself. Theyre terrific!

Have utilized Simply Green for about nine years now. In addition to a great job they do in mowing our lawn and cleaning up after, they also landscaped our flower beds a number of years ago and did a great job. Whenever Ive contacted them with a question, they get back to me quickly. Great company!

They are on time and work very hard to keep our yard looking great. After a recent heavy storm in early March they randomly stopped by to blow the mulch back into the plant beds as well as cleaning the stone walkway leading to the pool from both sides of the yard.

Be very careful with this company. I made an inquiry online to get an estimate for lawncare service. I never authroized or signed any agreement with them to perform service on our lawn. They came out without notifying me or my wife, performed the service, and did not even leave any kind of contact information. I had no idea who had performed the service, until I received the bill. I contacted them and told them I never authroized or agreed to any service. They claim because I accepted the estimate online, that I had entered into an agreement. I advised them I did accept the estimate, as being their estimate..but not to having service performed. I never signed a contract, never spoke to anyone on the phone (until I called them to dispute the bill). They wanted $500.00. I told them I would pay $250, because again I had never agreed to them performing the service. The declined my offer. They now have reported me to the credit bureau and collections, for a service I never authorized or agreed to.

In the 20 plus years of owning various homes which means yards, Simply Landscaping has been the best company to work with. It started off as my using them just for their express service. I recently had them help me design and plant my landscaping which was nonexistent until now. I have just upgraded their services to full maintenance and all while not breaking the bank. Their customer service is beyond exceptional and responsive. I won t work with anyone else!

They were able to give me a proposal that fit my budget and vision, scheduled my job within my timeframe, and on the day of the work, they worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up beautifully afterward. Awful. I went with simply green because of the positive reviews and I was sorely mistaken. I have shy of 1/4 acre with a lot of bushes, flowers and trees. It s a lot of time that I don t have to maintain it. $60 biweekly seemed reasonable. All they did was cut my grass. No trimming, no edging, no landscaping. 10 minutes in and out. They mowed my yard and charged me $60. I had to call them every other week because they would forget my yard. Avoid the headache there are plenty of other landscaping companies that will do quality work. I would never recommend these people.

I was referred to Simply Green Landscaping and am very pleased. The communication is fantastic, promptness on visits for proposals, the prices are incredible. The service is great, each visit, for the lawn service, the crew arrives and jumps into action, it literally takes no time and they have cut the grass, trimmed, and blown off the surfaces. We recently had a sump pump replaced and irrigation pipe replaced. A representative came to the house, at the exact time they said, time is a big deal and they are wonderful about being on time. He looked at the issue, put a proposal together in a short time, kept in constant communication with me and then when I went to schedule it, they were able to work us in quickly. We live out of town and rely on them to take care of our lawn when we are not there- the yard always looks immaculate and the beds do not have any weeds or weeds in the cracks in the driveway. It is always nice to come into town and not have to take care of the landscaping. I would recommend them to anyone!

I do not recommend. One of the 2 owners is very rude. Among other things Theyinstalled sod on my front yard w/o adding top soil first ( they added top soil to the backyard) and did not add weed barrier cloth to the flower beds that they worked on - they just added pine needles on top.

This company employs drivers who do not follow the rules of the road. Please do not use them. Their truck blew through a stop sign on the frontage road at Dragoon and Hwy 17 on Saturday almost killing us coming out of our neighborhood. Their driver should be in jail. Do not use this company.

The most professional landscaper I have ever dealt with. They showed up the morning after the hurricane, without being called, to start on clean-up at my home. They always email if there is a change in schedule due to weather or a holiday. They are always very receptive via email and phone and I know if I need something done I can count on them.

I am a tenant at pepperdam landing. There lawn team blew mud, grass and small rocks all over my freshly washed new truck. Customer service said they would call back. Of course no call back. Calling the management co. Lack of professionalism and integrity. Better businesses are out there.

We contracted simply green to design our backyard landscape. They were very knowledgeable about which plants to use and why. I have a full sun back yard so I didn t want to invest a lot of money only for the plants to die during the summer. My back yard is absolutely beautiful. Simply green designed everything with me and then completed the job by the following week. They were professional, fast working and the results are absolutely amazing. They re my go to for all of my landscape needs!!

Josh and his Simply Green crew recently did some significant landscape renovations for me including installing some pet turf and creating a drainage solution. They gave a great quote and did professional, beautiful work. They met or exceeded my expectations in every way, which often does not happen in todays local market with all kinds of home contractors apparently having more work that they can handle well. Josh listens well and communicates effectively. If things dont go exactly as planned, which often happens in life, he persists and fixes things until they are right.

Simply Green Landscaping is the best in Mt. Pleasant! Their landscape designer, Brooks was able to redesign my backyard. They installed new sod, plants, palm trees and a new patio. I love the new look and couldnt be happier. To maintain the look I also have them scheduled for weekly maintenance.

Simply Green and their crew are the best out there! My yard was a mess!!!! Agli and his team came and did a complete makeover of my yard. His landscape architect completed a design that was in line with what I wanted and finished the job the following week. Now my yard is beautiful and excited for the summer bloom!! Simply Green also designed and installed a patio in my backyard. I love it! Its perfect and exactly what I wanted. The team was understanding of my price point, design and took that into consideration when giving me my quote. Everything from the design to installation and cleanup was very smooth. I never even knew they were here. Simply Green does my weekly maintenance as well! I recommend them for landscape design, patio renovation and design and weekly maintenance. They are a full service landscape and design company! I have recommenced them to all my friends and neighbors!

I recently hired these guys to install a 10 x 16 brick paver patio, relocate 1 small tree, and plant 3 new small trees. The guys building the patio did an awesome job; we are pleased with it. However, our yard was wrecked in the process. The patio required a slope to make it level. When finished we were left with 4 ft of dirt the length of the patio. When the guys relocated and planted the trees, they again necessarily covered perfectly good grass with dirt. Around, a tree in the front yard, they placed bricks in a very sloppy manner; we did not want this done either. The crew removed the large concrete pieces from the smaller patio they removed, but left many golf ball sized pieces all over the yard. After the patio was finished, I talked to Josh about the grass, he gave me two options: Pay for sod or wait a year and the grass will grow in. In talking with him, he kept stating that because of the slope they had to put the dirt down. I told him, that we understand the slope thing, but they could have put sod over the dirt. Talking to him was not getting me anywhere, so I reluctantly let it go. After my payment was cashed, I texted Josh about the sod and again, I was told we already discussed this, we are not replacing sod. Had they left our yard in the same condition they found it or made it right after the fact (a cost of maybe $300), then this review would have been 5 stars, but they didnt, so I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS. In response to the owners comments below: We would have gladly paid to have the yard re-sodded, but Josh made it sound like he didnt want to do that. During this entire process my budget has never been an issue, so where you got that idea from I do not know. We chose not to have you guys do everything we originally discussed because we did not like your plant suggestions and we wanted to do some things ourselves. Money is not and has not been an issue or problem.

Simply Green is one of the best Landscaping businesses in our town. Theres a lot of competition for landscaping and they stand out with their prompt service, friendly crews, and helpful advice. I have used them many times and will continue to do so. If you ever happen to have a bad experience with them just let them know theyll fix it! Awesome job guys thanks for the new sod!

We made arrangements with Agli a couple of weeks in advance...and even though some weather moved through...they showed up on time and finished the project as finished.
