I had Precision Tree service out to quote me, and then hired to remove a tree in my front yard. This elm was close to power lines and surrounded by other trees and bushes. The chips were so fine by the time he was done, we headed straight to the planter boxes with the combination of dirt and fine chips. Highly recommended and the professionalism top notch. Dan and his team are fantastic. We run an outdoor camp, and we had some worrisome trees that became dangerous trees due to weather conditions. Dan came out quickly, assessed the problem, and immediately scheduled us in. His team went above and beyond, safely bringing down three trees, clearing out the brush, and even moving the rounds for us to where we split rounds for firewood. Great experience!

It was a Saturday morning when we realized the broken tree behind our house (which was hung up in another tree) was lined up so that it would take out the corner of our shop if allowed to drop naturally. We called 3 companies. Dan got back to us as soon as he heard our message. He had a crew on standby who were able to get here about an hour after he arrived and assessed the situation. His price matched another company that wouldn t have been able to get to it until Monday or Tuesday. Although costly, this was completely worth our peace of mind. Dan is the owner of this company and he we had a few very dangerous trees leaning over our home. Great service. We needed an unsightly dead branch removed from high up in a tree in our back yard. We got a call back from Dan at Precision Tree Service within an hour after calling. Although this was a relatively small job, he dropped by to provide an estimate that same day, told us he would have someone available to do the job later in the week, and got it done two days later. Friendly, professional, and efficient.

I am very happy with their service. The crew was professional and did not stand around - they know how to work! They worked together well and I heard no swearing or dirty jokes which are oftentimes common with similar crews. Competitive bid. Showed up right when they said they would. Took down a big tree, that was in a tight spot, and was filled with ivy. Protected the yard, where they moved the limbs and rounds across. Cleaned up after. Would highly recommend.

I would recommend to anyone. Very quick to get a response and quote. They even came out that same week to do the work. My yard was cleaner when they left than before they were there. Dan was very easily to work with and his crew works fast and I couldn t even tell they were there after they were done, besides the missing trees!

We had a tree fall on our roof and I called Dan and he was there within 90 minutes and we needed lift truck to get it off of the roof and he had them there within an hour. They were very fast and efficient and even cleaned the debris out of my gutters asked me if I wanted to keep the rounds and what size I would like them cut and then they stacked them for me. He also brought plywood and a tarp and covered the gaping hole and then called me the next day to make sure there wasnt anything leaking and that the tarp was still secure since we had another storm and it was still in place with no leaking. He then said if it does come off to call him and he will come and fix it. I would and have recommended Dan and his crew to people I know and he definitely deserves a 5 star.

Dan and crew do nothing but the best work. There is not many who exceed my expectations but they certainly do. We have used them multiple times and they exceed expectations every time. This last time after a 70 mile an hour wind storm they worked 20 hour days and did an unbelievable job of fitting us in and did an outstanding job. They are who you want if you need tree services. Dan quickly responded to my call and gave me an estimate to take down two trees. In a couple of days he had his crew there to do the job and fit me in even though i know he had a busy schedule. We needed 2 trees removed from a rental property we manage and Dan gave us a very reasonable price and they were available to come out when we needed them to. We received quotes from 5 other tree services. Comparable pricing and next day appointment availability convinces is to go with Precision. These guys were very fast, yet careful and professional. Took out 9 tall trees for us, stacked the wood and were done before the sun went down. I very seldom write reviews but when I encounter a company thats as impressive as Precision Tree Service, its time to do it! I called for a bid on a Friday, and had the bid later that afternoon. It was very competitive and Taylor advised they could get the work done within a weeks time. I also obtained bids from two other companies and decided to think about it over the weekend. Come Monday morning, Dan from Precision followed up to see if I had made a decision and advised he could have his crew do the work that very day! I got off the phone, checked a couple of things, and called Dan back within about 45 minutes to award him the bid. He told me the crew was already on their way over! Holy cow!! I had to scramble to get some vehicles and stuff out of the way, which was no big deal. Within about 30 minutes a crew of nine men arrived. They immediately got out of the trucks, grabbed their chainsaws, fired them up, and Taylor gave them the instructions of what needed to be done! WOW, it was unbelievable to see this small army of hard-working lumberjacks cutting down my trees and my out-of-control bushes. They were literally running from spot to spot. Then they moved to the back yard where I had six problem trees. No problem for them! Three guys were up in trees taking down branches and then started cutting them in sections which would fall to the ground below. Several other men would grab the debris and RUN it out to the chipper and grind it all up! I was totally amazed at watching them. Well all in all, they did everything I had in the bid, plus a few other minor details within a couple hours. The men were ALL very professional and courteous. And get this; when they were done with all the cutting and cleaning (just stump grinding left to complete) each one of the nine men personally shook my hand and THANKED me for giving them the work! I was blown away. Taylor returned in less than an hour with the stump grinder along with one of the crew and in less than an hours time, six stumps were obliterated, plus nine large rose bush stumps that I had them cut down. By the time they were done my front and back yards were exactly what I wanted and everything was clean. People, I cant even begin to express how extremely impressed I was with the crew, all the work they did, and how quickly it was all done. My neighbors were also shocked at how much work was done in such a short amount of time and they left everything looking pristine. I have videos of them doing some of the work and would be happy to share them if anyone ever would like to see these guys at work.

I wanted to have several tall arborvitaes and some shrubs removed in my front and back yard, as well as stump grinding on all of them. Dan came to my house, looked at what I wanted done, gave me a reasonable estimate, and said he and his crew could be there the next day if I wanted. I was in a hurry to clear it out for garden space, so I said yes. He said they would arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 am. They arrived at 7:30 am and just went to work. They all worked hard and efficiently. Within 2.5 hours, they were done, and Im delighted with the outcome. They did a good job cleaning up and leaving the yard looking nice. I also talked with Dan about some of my neighbors trees that Im concerned about. He gave me good advice on how to approach them about it. He also seems to know a lot about tree care and maintenance so they are less dangerous. Before Dan came out to do the estimate, I did have some concerns about responsiveness, since my original phone calls with his business partner a week before werent responded to very quickly. But I think it was a case of honest miscommunication, and once that was cleared up, everything went smoothly and quickly.

We have used Dan and his team twice in the last two years. They took out numerous large alder trees, while protecting existing landscape. I have used Precision Tree service two times in the past several months. My first contact was during a late winter storm which caused one of my over 100 foot tall trees to lean severely over my neighbors house. I called and Precision Dan had a large crew there within an hour! They safely took the tree down with no damage. My second experience was to remove several enormous trees due to threats of possible damage. The large crew arrived on time and immediately went to work. Every member was friendly, polite and professional. They all worked continuously until all trees were removed, all debris collected and wood cut to length and stacked in a convenient location. They even had the chipper spread the contents over a large, previously dirt, location on the yard giving us a usable and attractive area. what a stress free and wonderful experience. They gave an estimate which was very reasonable and came exactly when they said they would to remove three trees, grind out the stumps and clean up. We were very impressed not just with the work done, but also with their professionalism!!! One of the trees was full of crab apples and they went all over the road with the tree being cut down. Did a superb clean up of everything!!! I hope we dont need to remove more trees, but they will get our business if we do.

We used precision tree service for several projects this year - taking down big trees in dangerous situations, clearing numerous dead trees from an old orchard and clearing a field of blackberries. I have happily used Precision Tree Service (LaConnor/Whitney Road, Mount Vernon, WA) in the past and again retained their quality services yesterday. Dan Rawls and his crew expertly performed the tasks requested expediently, fulfilling my expectations completely. Two cedar trees had dangerous branches removed and wind-sailed; several fruit trees had dead branches cut back. A couple of ornamental fruit trees were reshaped to my satisfaction. They were able to maintain privacy on the property even through the thinning of foliage. There was absolutely no damage to surrounding vegetation or property and the property was thoroughly cleaned before they left the premises. This company listens to your requests, assesses your needs, will make suggestions if needed, but most importantly does quality work in a respectful manner. I will definitely hire them again if the need arises.
