Devine Image Lawn and Landscaping in Mount Hope

Devine Image was one of three companies that we called for an estimate to dethatch and aerate our large country front lawn that had grown thin and patchy. We were not looking for the lowest estimate but rather we wanted a company that we felt would do a very good job for us at a fair price. We also wanted the front lawn to be topseeded with a mixture of grass seed and good quality top dressing soil/garden mix. Cody came by and impressed us with his friendliness and professionalism. He told us exactly what his crews would do -how they would do it and the order of the work. He also explained how they would carefully position the yards of soil to ensure that none of it would get all over the fresh gravel driveway. First day two of his crew showed up to aerate and dethatch the lawn. - very friendly - ...worked remarkably fast and hard - barely stopped for water or soft drinks that we offered.....they did a very fine job and were neat and tidy. Second day two other fellas came to top seed the lawn and distribute a few yards of garden mix soil with grass seed. They also worked non-stop and were clean in how they worked.....also very friendly and polite. Bottom line is that the work we wanted to be done was done at a good and fair price, the workers that came here were exceptional workers and did a great job for us....... we are going to use Cody and Devine again with other projects on our large property. We had our work done in 2020 and everything started off great. We had a plan and we were excited to see our front yard transform. The results from a distance look great however there were communication issues that resulted in us finding problems with the finished product. The biggest drawback for me was the fact that Cody has not fully honoured the warranty. I contacted him over and over and over again and he kept putting me off. When they did the work they broke two fence boards that still have not been replaced. When we laid out the plan for the driveway, I had asked that the driveway be widened to give us more room to manoeuvre our cars. Originally I wanted to have the thicker paver stones laid on the driveway to make sure it held up better with the weight of the vehicles on the driveway. I was told that if I wanted thicker stone I would have to wait for months as there were production delays. They had assured me that using the thinner pavers would not make a difference on the driveway especially because with the increased width of the driveway the cars would not be putting all of the weight as the pavers were only going to flank the asphalt where the cars would be parked. When the job was complete, I realized that they had not increased the width of the driveway and in fact it was the exact width of the original one. As a result, our cars indeed are being parked on those pavers that were thinner and now 2 of the pavers are cracked. As is stated above, I called Cody multiple times and sent him photos as he requested, but they still have not replaced the damaged pavers. This job cost us almost $30,000.00. It may be a small job to him, but it was a huge cost to us and I feel as though we are not important to him anymore since he has received our payment. I just want the warranty honoured. We plan to do our backyard in the next year and had planned to use Devine Image, but our experience with the after care service and the poor communication has caused us to change our minds and will be using another company.

We had Devine Image redo our decks with pavers, including around our pool. We are thrilled with the end result! Every detail was addressed and every question answered promptly and with great patience. Every one of his crew was great to have on site. Cody is a pro at keeping everything running smoothly. We worked with Cody and his team for a period of 3 weeks. We did the backyard, sidewalk and front yard . Very professional they listened to our concerns and addressed them. Cody is very detailed and he has an eye and understanding to what his customers wants, I would advice if you don t know a lot about stones and terminology is to ask always for pictures and do your research. Otherwise Cody is very clear. Cody offers an amazing after service. I would recommend his company and his team. We are so happy with the work and thank them for all the work they have done Cody s team Josh and Miro are absolutely amazing, we loved working with them.

These guys have been doing landscaping at my house for the last 3 years. They are always courteous and work hard, and if we forget some of the kids toys on the lawn etc the day they come, they never complain and move them off to the side so they can do their work. Well priced too. Cody is a nice young man

I highly recommend Devine Image and team. They extended our driveway in one day and it looks amazing. The crew was friendly, punctual and left everything nice and clean when they finished. If you re torn on the design end, trust Cody, I had picked a stone but couldn t decide on what colour (black or grey) Cody said to trust him and he did not disappoint, it turned out really good. It compliments my asphalt driveway perfectly.

They took my dream backyard and made it a reality. It was a challenge to transform an eye sore into a masterpiece that they accepted and I really appreciate everything they did Cody worked with my budget and Reese was onsite to make it happen, they were accommodating to any changes that needed to be made in the process.

We had a trying summer with a pool line leaking and drainage issues around our house with the heavier rains that now happen a few times per summer. My wife and I had also been talking about extending the patio around the end of our pool so we decided to get it all done at once! Cody was great to work with on the planning side and choosing the right stone to blend the old & new patio together. Reece was the site leader and clearly takes pride in his work; does not rush and makes sure it is done right, leaving the site tidy at the end of each day. Throughout the work - which only lasted about a month - BOTH Cody and Reece were sure to check-in with me to update on progress & address changes that I requested and also offer options from a design/materials perspective. Bottom line is our patio looks great, our pool is fixed and the water now drains properly, away from the house... and all done within a month!! I wish I had called Cody earlier in the summer!
