Previous attempts to use lawn care companies were atrocious. Billed but no results of any kind. Even tried ourselves numerous times. When lawn went totally weeds, we looked for help. The only one of three companies to send someone out to see us BEFORE price quoting was WDB Landscaping. We had questions answered, soil tested, and a detailed explanation of all work/treatments needed with an itemized pay as we go price program. We agreed because we trusted their very experienced manager, Kevin. We were told in advance of every treatment. Upon arrival, the men introduced themselves and explained what they were to do. A door note was left saying thank you. I watched the entire yard being treated COMPLETELY with numerous passe crisscrossing the yard. They did a beyond through job of seeding and then REseeding because of the drought we have. I have watered as the detail list instructed, so we have grass! It is GREEN. Hopefully it will be even better in the spring if the climate cooperates. I HIGHLY recommend WDB Landscaping. You get a plan for your issues and concerns, explanation of its process, every question answered quickly, strong feeling of trust and confidence, fair and detailed pricing. Every employee is very pleasant, conscientious, knowledgeable and interested in getting the paid for results. Andria the office manager was excellent at answering or getting us answers quickly. I have had a front yard that has always been pretty much green. For 30 years, green with crabgrass, clover, grass, assorted green weeds, etc. Green. That s really all I cared about because I put so much blood and sweat into my extensive gardens on the property. Anyhow, I got tired of it, the green weed thing. I mean it didn t look bad but it didn t make the property pop as they say. So, I noticed as I really, really looked at it, in it. Much of the soil make up especially when you got down towards the sidewalk was silty, loose, almost sandy textured soil. So, I researched; you can use plugs of grass, sod, strip and replenish the top layer of soil with nutrient rich soil and then grow the grass. Some of these are pretty expensive and demand extensive attention after the first action you do with it, whether that be watering the sod till it takes, fertilizing, watching for weeds, looking for problems in its growth, etc. I came to realize I am either going to make this lawn recover project my sole goal for the next however how long it took or listen to most of the experts that the way to go with my type of situation was gradual. By enlisting someone with the knowledge, experience and care in the recovery of my lawn. (since I really didn t want to do at this point) This is where, after searching out the big guys out there and the smaller guys who really just cut lawns and think of recovery is just dumping fertilizer on it; I found WDB Landscape and Turf Care. Now it s been about 14 months I ve been with them and yes, you pay then here and there but its never been about OK, It s done, pay me kind of thing. It s you need this and you need that and it s this much. The recovery of my lawn, current day, would be like getting two knees done at the same time and you re on your two month post-op date. Your walking and its ok, but you are just starting to regain the strength. This is where my lawn is at now. Thanks to WDB, I can rest assured they will do their drive bys and visual inspections and recommend if I need a grub control or a weed block, aeration or some other service. I don t have to take it, if I want to hold off, they are fine with that and recommend anything I can do until they do came back for something. I give them a 5 out of 5.

We are very pleased with this lawn service. Not only do they do an excellent job, they are amenable to special requests and Andrea who is always there to answer the phone is so pleasant and helpful.

We had to remove two Red Tip Photinia bushes from our patio due to a leaf disease ( photinia leaf spot ). The bushes were replaced with something similar in size and shape. We used WDB Landscaping and are pleased with the price, service, and results. Warren was excellent in making suggestions for replacements. The workers showed up on time and left everything nice and neat.

In October of 2023 had to have an Oak tree that was infected taken down. In November WDB planted a new, smaller tree, a dogwood for me. Its a decent size and they always do good work. They also transplanted a butterfly bush for me. The butterflies loved it, but so did the bees, and it was right by the front door. Didnt want to throw it away so WDB dug it up and moved to a better location. Always happy with their work. Have used WDB for several years and they perform high quality services. Have known the owner since his father owned and operated the company. His workers are always hard working and pay attention to how you want things done. Our street has had severe drainage problems for years and they have finally now been fixed; partly due to the township replacing our sidewalks and curbs and the underground work WDB did to tie in underground water drainage directly to the sewer. Required a lot of labor intensive work as they had to dig by hand rather than with machines because of underground wiring and gas lines. Used to have to be sure to put out sand and caution tape on sidewalks because of thick ice in the winter - problem is completely gone now. The owner is very ethical and honest. May not be lowest estimate, but you get what you pay for sometimes and their work is excellent. Highly recommend the company. Just an update to my previous post, they are now taking care of my lawn services and recently did the lime application. Always careful with doing the work and applying whatever the application is - fertilizer, lime, overfeeding, etc. Highly recommend the company. June of 2024 - WDB just weeded and mulched all of my flower beds. They also trimmed everything that needed it and put down a weed preventative. The workers are always friendly and hard working. I used to do this work myself in the past, but my age now has made that a little difficult. It is nice to be able to contact WDB Lawn and Garden service and have the job done right in a single day.
