I was referred to Matt’s Landscaping by Garden City Nursery. I called him and he said he was with a customer and would call me back in 15 minutes. He never called so I texted him and he did not answer and has not called me back and it’s been over a week. I had occasion to go to Garden City today so I told them of my experience. They said well he is very busy. That is no excuse as it takes no more than 5 minutes to return a text and just say I am busy and can’t help you at this time. Very poor customer service. Don’t waste your time with this company.

We hired Matt and his crew for a retaining wall project after being referred to him by a friend. I have had issues with communication with companies in the past, Matt however was top notch in my book. Communicating every step of the way and always on time. They came and had my wall complete in 2 days! Outstanding quality, professional, and very hard workers! We cant wait to see what the yard looks like after the grass grows in and is settled! I hired Matt's company to do some landscaping on our new home. Matt and his entire crew were very professional and did an excellent job. I gave him the go ahead to start on a Thursday evening, the material was delivered on Friday, and the job was complete on Tuesday. These guys did not mess around. They are hard workers and good at what they do. Also, there prices are what I consider to be very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.
Matt's running a great service. My previous provider sold off my yard several months ago to another provider without telling me and the new company never showed up. I called Matt the next morning and his crew came out that day and every week since then. Yard always looks great.

Decent lawn care overshadowed by poor service level that ultimately led us to part ways with Matt s Lawn Care. This gent promised my wife four times over the course of almost three weeks that he d take care of our lawn and we were forced to make other arrangements after parts of the lawn grew knee-high.
Extremely happy with the work Matt and his crew have done for us. They will outwork anyone and are 100% committed to their customers. Cant wait to have them do another project. A+ company and work!
My small yard was $40 for only mowing and trimming. To me this seems expensive but it was relatively average compared to other companies and this one had been recommended to me by a friend. Not to mention I needed my yard done quickly and I thought with a company taking care of it (vs one of my friends kids I had been paying) that it would look extra nice. Unfortunately this was not the case. In many places the grass looked smashed rather than trimmed. There were still multiple weeds and dandelions sticking up throughout the yard. It was trimmed enough for me not to be fined by the city but definitely will not be using these services again, or at the very least, would request a different employee be in charge of it. There were two positives to this experience- the fact that I didnt need to be home when they took care of it (I mailed a check afterward) and the fact that most of the correspondence was through texting. As someone who works full time all week these two things made it easier.
