What a wonderful group. We recently had a large snowstorm and my business was snowed in. I called Turfsurge because they were members of The Heart of Centerville and do a lot for our community and local schools. They were there within the hour of the call. They dug out my parking lot for my customers and then even did all of the sidewalks around my building because they knew that was the walkway to the elementary schools on both sides of us and they did not want the children to walk in the street. They did exceptional work and are exceptional people. We will use them everytime.
I went with TurfSurge because of the owner, Jonathon. He’s open, honest and has a great eye. He developed our post pool install landscaping plan and worked with me to make it a reality. His plant decisions and layout were outstanding. His install team was also incredible. They answered all my questions and were diligent in their efforts, not to mention totally professional. I will use Turfsurge again for more landscaping and possibly a sprinkler system next year!
Jonathon and his crew are amazing! They have a high standard of work and if something isn't right, they will come out ASAP and make it right. They are kind and respectful. Wouldn't have any other company mow my grass.
The crew edged and mulched my extensive gardens. They spread the mulch by hand around my shrubs and perennials. End result looks great! All the perennials were carefully tended and the color pops against the mukch. Processional and courteous staff. Great cleanup as well of the lawn and pavement.
I put in my online application. They showed up to my yard without calling they showed up to fertilize and see my yard without calling. My yard had spots and several spots not weeded properly. This was the first service so I will give them one more chance.
I have had TurfSurge do a couple projects for me. They have all been great. I had them build a 24 foot long raised veggie garden with a special soil mix. It is exactly what I wanted. I will probably have them do another. They also aerated and sprayed my lawn my lawn. It was in terrible shape when we moved into the house, but it is getting better with their care.
Johnathan promptly returned my call to discuss leaf removal from my lawn, the following day (12-13-23) they were here to do the work. I wished I’d known they did not guarantee a clean look upon completion, it was left with a few areas clean but other sections looked mulched which I did not want. The technician was here for about 2hrs and charged me $100 (front only no back) which I thought to be sort of expensive for the final look, I really expected it to be a more refined clean/professional job but it is not. I wished my review could have been more positive because they were delightful to talk with and seemed like very personable people, I’m just not satisfied with the final look.
I called TurfSurge, and they immediately put me in their schedule. They're quick to respond to phone calls (within the same day), they're friendly and respectful of the property. Not to mention, they do an amazing job, mowing, trimming, and clean up all for one price. There's no need to pester or nag them, they just come out right on schedule. I'm super pleased with them. Great service ***Update**** Ive been using this service for about 3 years now and I wont be switching anytime soon. I have back issues and cannot tend to my own lawn. Its small and they guys are always super quick and nice to my daughter when she says hello
Wont use their service. They left a flyer on my mailbox which stuck to the side so I have to scrape off the residue. They made more work for me.
Lovely job mulching front and back beds; invited my preferences then got to work making them happen. Several years of good lawn and landscaping services with Turfsurge.
We had to pay for 4 week s minimum. Three out of the 4 times, they only did half the yard. They also did not tell me when they were coming, luckily I hadn t let my dogs out while they were here. I couldn t get them to call me back. They only sent a message saying they would cancel it, despite calling several times with my phone number.
They used to be pretty good, but the quality of the service is sporadic depending on the crew and there s no consistency. Example: today I was charged nudging $42 for them to mow half my back lawn, ignore the front lawn and blow leaf blossom back ON to my driveway. Total on-site presence an impressive approximate 8 minutes. I pay for their repeat service for..umm, not that. I admire the owner s story but think he s tried to grow too fast without vetting his teams. Can t rely on them being any good.

The guy is rude his name is Jonathan the guy doesnt go through with what he says, he promises you a job then changes his mind when he talks to you again the place is a joke

Turfsurge took over our lawn service and end of season leaf removal last year. We are very pleased with the service that was provided. The charges are reasonable. Our lawn is well trimmed. If we ask for a deviation from the timing or extent of the usual trim, Turfsurge is more than happy to make the adjustments. We like the option of charging the service to our credit card. But what is most impressive is the communication to us as customers. Jonathon emails us if weather has caused service delays. He checks in with us and emails when a charge for service has been processed. He has informative videos of the service on You Tube, and the Turfsurge website is professionally done with great information about the business, etc.
We are grateful for Jonathon and the Turfsurge team. There lawn service for us has been exceptional. They keep us informed and they are prompt in responding to our communications with them. We have confidence that they will take care of mowing even when we are out of town. We recommend them highly.

We purchased our home when we were still living in California, and needed someone to come mow our lawn before we got to town. Without having met us, without needing to sign a contract, without even having to give a credit card up front, Jonathon and Turfsurge got us on the schedule and took care of our lawn. We ended up staying with them until we got our own equipment months later. (Their great work let us keep pushing that off!) Everything always looked so great, and they were so flexible with us. When we asked to cut a little lower, it was no problem. When we asked to skip a week, they didnt blink. My impression is that most lawn services are not this flexible, and we were really grateful for that as new homeowners on a budget. The lawn always looked great, and I couldnt believe how reasonably priced it all was. I absolutely recommend Turfsurge!

So these jerks think a good way to advertise is to drop litter in everyones driveway so it can blow all over the streets and into peoples yards. I took the dogs for a walk tonight an picked up over 100 flyers laying in the streets. I wouldnt hire them for this reason alone.
