Ive been using killingsworth since I bought my home in March of 2022. I have both pest and termite protection. I was sold on them because they told me any time I saw an issue to call and theyd send out someone to solve the problem. I had a horrid carpenter bee infestation and they kept coming back until they were under control. Well, that was last year. This past weekend I was cleaning my basement and found a lot of spiders. I called expecting them to send someone to help. Instead they said your quarterly is due July 2 and we can have someone out there on July 9th. 3 weeks from the time I called. Seriously. Today I was talking to a friend and she uses terminix. She called them today for an issue at her house and they are coming out tomorrow. I miss that kind of service as was sold to me.

Killingsworth continues to provide exceptional service in our home. Bret has been very knowledgeable about our needs and goes above and beyond to ensure that our issues are solved.

Customer service is TERRIBLE! The person I was talking with (Nyla) about my concern kept telling me she WAS a manger & that she had no supervisor that I could relay my concerns to about her , she kept interrupting me, I kept trying to get off of the phone with her and she kept aggressively badgering me. She TOTALLY MISUNDERSTOOD that my concern was HER at that point and NOT my contract. No accountability!!! RUN as fast as you can from this company! Please look at the BBB cases filed against Killingsworth-most are customer relations driven by bad, rude and unresponsive behavior!

When I called for an appointment, I specifically mentioned that I wanted a (suspected) wasp s nest inside my chimney removed. Leah told me that one of their wildlife technicians could handle that and would treat the chimney with Delta dust and would also recommend ways to screen entry with some kind of galvanized steel. After inspecting my fireplace from inside my home and spraying the dust, Corey, the technician informed me that only a certified chimney company could remove a nest inside the actual chimney. He also said there was no product that could block wasps out and still leave the fireplace safe to use. Essentially, I paid $175 for a 30 minute visit to have some insecticides sprayed. Even though he did an exterior inspection and treatment, he showed me no pictures of the damage noted on the exterior of my two story chimney. He was friendly but that experience left a bad impression and I won t be contacting this company for any other services.

Living close to the lake & a common area, I contacted Killingsworth in Mooresville for Pest Control in June 2018. I signed up for a year of service. During the yearly contract, if you need them for service, they will come back at no charge. In June, Mike came out to spray and also for a crawl space inspection. I called them 6 months later to spray and they came. Since it s April now & getting warmer, the pests are coming out. My contract ends this June so I called them. Rickey came this time to spray & Mike came for the free crawl space inspection that was advertised. These two gentlemen are so professional, courteous and have great personalities. I will be continuing my service with Killingsworth for many years!

I bought an annual pest control contract. The first technician to visit was very knowledgeable and professional. It was a good experience. A few weeks later we started seeing some spiders around the house so I gave them a call. I was preparing to go out of town and they didnt have a technician available before I was leaving town but they jumped through hoops to get someone out to my house before I left. When that technician visited, he said hed also clean the cobwebs that were forming on my siding. Im very happy with Killingsworth Environmentals excellent service!

This was my best experiece with anyone from Killingsworth, he showed up and proceeded to look and question where and why the ants were coming in on a regular basis. Lenny and staff came immediately then daily to check traps and rid critters caught. One week later all quiet and no more critters. I cannot say enough about their great work! Highly recommend

I have a bit of a complicated situation that the team was extremely understanding and accommodating about. I was managing to have Killingsworth to do an extermination while I am in Ohio and my father is in North Carolina. My father has memory issues so I needed to manage the process. My main contact with Killingsworth was Seth. He has been so kind, so understanding and so patient throughout the entire process. He has stepped in and gone above and beyond to help me since I could not from out of state. He clearly explained every step and was there to answer questions along the way. We started with Killingsworth many years ago due to our daughters allergy to mosquitos. From there we have added multiple services - most recently having them relate one of our old AC units. They are very reasonably priced, always attentive, never pushy, and best of all a one stop shop for many things we need. We have never had a single negative experience with them.

Had a leak in ceiling late on a Friday night on Fourth of July weekend. Customer service was outstanding finding a plumber to come out as soon as possible. Plumber stuck with tricky leak problem, fixed and found leak. Outstanding job and 6 stars!!!

I called Killingsworth to inquire about spraying for pest and specifically talked about checking for termite infestation with CJ, the receptionist that took my call. CJ informed me that they could do a one-time spray for $140. When Kyle the tech came out to spray he asked for payment upfront. My antenna went up, but I decided to trust them and let them charge my card. As soon as Kyle started into the crawlspace he noticed a termite trail starting up one of the piers. I asked him to spray the infested pier. Then Kyle informed me that the spray he was using did not kill termites. I ask him why not and he said that was a completely different treatment, something CJ should have informed me of, during our initial conversation. It felt very much, like I was being up sold and treated unfairly. I had previously sprayed this same home for 10 years with Ortho Home Defense, a product that does kill termites among a myriad of other pest, and is widely available. Needless to say I will not be using Killingsworth, for any service in the future. Lesson learned!

I cannot say enough good about this company. My heat went out on late Saturday afternoon. I called and was routed to an answering service. Within 15 minutes I received a call back and the tech was at my house within the hour. Turns out we needed a replacement furnace. The advisor came to my house that night to take measurements and then made some calls. The installation team was at my house at 8am on a SUNDAY to do the install. They were professional, courteous, and competent! I had heat again before the snow fell! So thankful to Josh and crew!

I used Killingsworth for an after hours HVAC service in July. Honestly the service was very good but later I found out they WAY over charge! The technician told me that the capacitor was bad and it was a fairly common repair. He said the part was $250 and with the $70 service call it would be $320. I had them go ahead and fix it. Well, this week the capacitor went out again and since I recognized the problem I decided to see if I could order the part and fix it myself. Much to my surprise I found that I could order the VERY SAME capacitor for $12.13!! I don t mind paying a premium but to be charged $250 for a part that costs $12.13 is rediculious!!!
