Pristine Landscaping did a great job at our home! DJ specifically was communicative and talked us through what each step would be in terms of what we were looking for. We didn’t wait long at all for them to get started! We also left for a weekend due to a wedding and DJ left us a automatic sprinkler so we didn’t have to worry about someone else coming to water the grass that was planted, so they went beyond expectations! I would highly recommend this team to anyone!

Pristine Landscape Services graded our backyard, which sloped in typical Pittsburgh fashion, and did a great job. They also threw in moving our shed, removing some yard debris, and seeding the lawn with clover/grass, all for a very reasonable price. DJ was helpful in quoting and getting things scheduled, while Dan and his team got the project done quickly. I would definitely use them again!

In the wild world of home renovation, finding a reliable, affordable contractor can feel like searching for a unicorn in a haystack. After a long list of no-shows, over-promisers, under-deliverers and over-pricers (for indoor and outdoor projects) that marched through our older North Hills home - we ran into Pristine Landscape Services. We quickly noticed Pristine was a different caliber of contractor and adopted a much higher standard for quality, service and professionalism. What impressed us most was Pristine's level of communication around daily progress/updates and the friendliness of their half-dozen crew members who contributed to the job over several weeks. Pristine stuck to our budget and idea, while providing plenty of options around design, products, materials and colors; and taking time to explain the cost breakdown and process. Whether you need an outdoor space that could host a royal wedding or just want to tackle lawn care and install a new retaining wall, Pristine is your go-to team. We're so thrilled with the results (see before/during/after picture included with this review). To Dan, Brett, Albert and the entire Pristine Landscaping Services crew: thank you for turning our backyard into our little paradise. You didn't just meet our expectations; you blew them out of the water, over the newly-installed boulder wall, and across the perfectly-detailed patio and beyond!

Pristine Landscaping was wonderful to work with. DJ came out to evaluate our property and to listen to what I wanted to accomplish and what I wanted to do. But I also asked him for his professional thoughts on whether my ideas would meet my needs. We had an open and honest discussion about options. He’s the landscaping expert, so I trusted his expertise in that area. I was the expert on my yard and what I wanted to do to address specific needs. Together we came up with a great solution. Landscape work is very weather dependent, so scheduling the work is not as cut-and-dry as other services. But DJ proactively kept me in the loop and communicated when work would likely be done and explained any delays and why. This open communication was very appreciated. The work done by the Pristine professionals was great. Again, so much of this positive experience hinged on the open communication between me and the Pristine team. There were a lot of details, but that’s where the devil lies, and if you don’t address them properly, you get burnt. We got on the same page as to what was to be done, what was to be expected, and the guys got to work. When they were finished, the project looked great; but even though the work was finished, the project wasn’t. We still need to see how everything they planted would grow, thrive, and look…and that would take some time. In this case, a year. It’s now a year later and everything looks terrific. In that year, I had many questions as I followed through on my end of the care and maintenance of the new landscaping. Every question I had was kindly and compassionately answered by DJ, with him stopping by when he was in the area in order to give a real-time assessment, insight, and additional help when needed. My experience with Pristine Landscaping—and DJ in particular (no slight intended to the others guys who were great as well)—was terrific and they will be at the top of my list to call with any large landscaping projects.

Dan, and his crew exceeded my partners and I's expectations. We had a large backyard renovation in the city of Pittsburgh that was very complex. There was an inground steel pool that was 4 feet deep encased in concrete that needed removed. I tried to get bids from 4 contractors and 3 of them turned me down because the job was too difficult?!?! Pristine Landscape came and gave me a quote in 5 days and said this wouldn't be a problem. Please, see the before and after pictures - they speaks for themselves. There aren't many contracting companies that make it into my "Contact List" - Pristine was added to mine after this project.

contacted about 2 dozen companies to get estimates - Pristine responded promptly - most of the others didn't respond at all. DJ gave us an estimate for our initial project (weeding and installing river rock) that was within budget. After they started we decided to expand to add edging stones and expand the work area. Again the price was reasonable. Tim and Jordan were hard workers and did a fantastic job. We love the new look of our yard and would go to Pristine first for any future projects. Real quality at a reasonable price.

Dan and DJ were awesome to work with. They both went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable with the design before, during, and after the multi-phased project. Dan went the extra mile to act as the liaison for another contractor as well. Our project included a retaining stone wall, grading and re-sloping, landscape design, and installation. They were very professional and perfectionists in the work they did. They cleaned up the workspace each day and clearly communicated with me throughout the entire project. I highly recommend Pristine Landscape to anyone looking for any and all landscape services in the Pittsburgh area.

I highly recommend Pristine Landscape Services. The owner, Daniel, is very knowledgeable, hard-working, pleasant to work with, and punctual. Moreover, his pricing for our project was very fair. We hired him to completely renovate our patchy lawn and he delivered. He dethatched the lawn, and covered it with topsoil, seed, and mushroom manure. He did things right, not cutting any corners. For instance, he used high quality seed, not the "contractor's mix" typically used, and he chose the grass species mix based on the look I wanted, and the sun exposure it would be subjected to. The finished product looks great, and I anticipate a great looking lawn. I couldn't be happier with my choice to use Pristine Landscape Services and will likely use them again for future projects. Update: It's been three weeks and the lawn looks amazing. New pictures are attached. Important to note that I was religious about watering. Hope to spray down some mesotrione (tenacity) in a couple days to control the few weeds. Also, the grass mix we used included bluegrass, which probably is just starting to germinate.
