We built new last year. We had no idea what our property would look like once we moved in during the winter months. We had Lundahl come up with a plan we could get on board with. We absolutely love our landscaping. So much that we are hoping to add more by next year.

A great experience from start to finish! Prompt, courteous, professional, clean, great communication, detailed! Highly recommend!

Our landscaping project started with removing several large lilacs and other overgrown bushes. Mark spent several hours with us before giving us his proposal. He then adjusted it to fit within our budget. We repurposed many hostas and other plants into the new landscape. Mark used paving blocks as edging for the new flowerbeds around the house. Mark accompanied us to GreenThumbers and worked with their staff to find the best plants for new landscaping. Elias and crew were very conscientious and left our yard and driveway clean every day. Bottom line we are very pleased with Lundahl Landscaping and their focus on customer care.

Mark have us a great first impression, by first going above and beyond, consulting on a would-be project for a prospect home we were looking at in the area. Its clear he cares for his community and is great at understanding needs of those he works with. I m a firm believer in, if you want something to last then you have to take care of it . That s exactly what Mark and his go-getters accomplished for my family. I researched many companies and received almost a dozen quotes to transform my failed retaining wall but in the end I picked Lundahl landscaping. Mark came over the first day I called him and blew the other competitors out the water. Not only that, after giving him a few ideas of what I wanted, he gave me a blueprint of a breathtaking modern day front yard. Man am I grateful for his energy and vision. He took some measurements home and within 24hrs pulled a Houdini. Mark is a true professional. Even though my home is under renovation with contractors coming and going, Mark s team always worked to keep me informed while also staying clear of other active jobs. I feel as if I gained a resource or friend for life in Mark. We would talk about the project, life, finances, health and wellness, travel etc all the time. The man is truly a people person which simplified the whole process. I can t say enough good about his crew and foremen. They always left the site tidy. I highly recommend Lundahl landscaping 10/10. In fact, I m in the process of getting his team back over this spring to make another lasting impression.

Mark was very understanding of our needs and tight budget. His employees worked very hard to complete grading, seeding and erosion mat in one long hot day in order to stay ahead of incoming rain. Mark is completely good on his word and I will definitely be working with him again.

Mark was very prompt about getting back to me for a bid on a retaining wall. He was also very prompt about getting here on time for an appointment but after the appointment i did not hear back from him for a week so i tried calling him. I left a message asking him if he had a quote for me. I never heard from him. This is not a very good business man if you ask me.

Mark and his crew have done several projects for us over the past 12 months. We have been happy with their work, cleanup, and value. We will continue to use them.

The team at Lundahl Landscaping is excellent. Mark initially designed a landscaping project in the rear of our home with outcropping stone which replaced the timber stairs/walls. The old timber caused drainage issues which Mark was able to rectify with the new design. We were so pleased with this project that we asked his team to design another project in the front of our home. Outcropping stone was used and it created a whole new look in the front which is very appealing from the street. It changed the entire look of our home and we are extremely happy with everything Lundahl Landscaping did for us. They were timely, efficient, and extremely affordable. This was my first time hiring a professional landscaper (yes, we all have heard the horror stories) and I got the best one on my first try! Mark helped me tremendously with my grass problem by grading and reseeding the entire backyard. Mark listened to my needs and addressed each one. I will say Mark is the BEST we have ever worked with. We moved into our beautiful home here in the QC but the backyard was just a a slope of grass and weeds - not much for entertaining. I contacted this company to do some remodeling of my back yard. It needs alot of rocks dug out and concrete pavers removed. (I believe the previous homeowners had a rock or gravel drive way for an RV of some sort) well, I scheduled a tour of my property and the gentleman came and looked around and told me of all the ideas he thought would look good and took pictures and stated he would email me an estimate.bhe even had me text his work phone my email address to ensure he had it when it was time for him to send the estimate back. It has now been over a month since I heard anything from him and I even texted his work phone asking for an update with absolutely no response. I wouldve been more understanding if he just responded that it was too small of a project, but to not receive back any response was very unprofessional and I was very upset. I was hoping to have the yard worked on before my daughters first birthday in September. There are entirely too many rocks in this yard for either of my children to walk barefoot. Sorely disappointed with the service I received. If you could even call it that.

Once we decided on the design after a few changes the worked began. The 4 man crew are very hardworking team! They removed the old rotten railroad ties,replacing them with new retaining blocks putting in drain tiles. This was all done by hard working hands and backs. It was a hot humid buggy day it didnt stop the crew on starting and finishing their project! Mark worked pushing the wheel barrel right along with his crew. We had several bids from different local contractors and Mark was by far the best bang for the buck- in fact his pricing was exactly the same as our second choice however Mark was able to provide much, much more vision on what we wanted for our landscaping and also was able to add in extra landscaping that we had not even thought of- at the same cost. He built another flagstone patio for our smoker that wasn t even part of our original plan. Along the way mark also fixed downspouts that were not draining properly, he fixed rough spots in our yard, and added many final touches that really made his work stand out. His 3 man crew were very professional and worked quickly. He will give you a free quote and draft out your ideas on his design software that no one else was willing to do, this was free of charge. We highly recommend his services!

This was my first outstanding experience with a contractor . Mark s integrity is second to none. I never once had to chase him down to get updates when our project would start or how it was going once it did start. He kept me informed every step of the way during the installation of our retaining wall(s). We had an existing (20 year old) retaining wall that was 7 high and was severely leaning and ready to topple onto our driveway. Out of the 3 quotes he was the only one that suggested removing the existing wall completely and removing several feet of the earth into the yard to alleviate the pressure and then building 2 new (material) retaining walls. The first one right next to the driveway around 3 tapering down as it goes up our very steep driveway and the second wall set back another 5 from the one along the drive creating a huge flower bed! I might also add he was the only one that provided an itemized quote for material, labor all the way down to gator glue and taxes, etc. There were no surprises. Mark and his landscaping crew worked so hard and meticulous with every stone that was put down to make sure it was level and looked perfect. I will also be using Lundahl Landscaping for my next project of general landscaping around in the yard . I can t recommend them enough in a time where it s hard to get contractors to even call you back. Thank you Mark for the fantastic job! You are a true professional!

I cant say enough great things about Mark and his amazing crew. They really deserve 10 Stars! Our backyard had been eroding for several years to the point where it had become difficult to safely mow. Fortunately, a friend recommended Mark. At our first meeting, he suggested several possible options to correct the problem, and also what would work within our budget. We felt that the option we chose, which consisted of a low retaining wall to prevent further erosion, leveling the yard to the wall, and sodding the area, was very reasonably priced. Throughout the project, Mark was always personable, professional, and readily available to address any questions or concerns we might have. To his credit, and that of his conscientious, hardworking, and highly experienced crew, the entire project was completed in a week. Lundahl Landscaping is an excellent company to work with. Mark is very personal and conscious about quality and listens to your suggestions and ideas on what you are wanting. My retainer wall is still in the process of being finished and I might add that this is the fourth time this wall has been built. Before the walls were built by non-professionals and cheaper blocks were used needless to say the walls failed. So far I am very pleased with the wall and its appearance and Mark has been more than willing to work with me and answer my concerns when Ive had questions about the type of blocks used and how they are installed so I will have many many years of a maintenance-free retainer wall.
