We used Dirtman for the first time last week in our new home and I couldn t be happier with the service! I called and was scheduled two days later with one of the techs. Caleb was amazing! He was on-time, got our sprinklers turned on and fixed SO many leaks, heads and other issues quickly. He was kind and talked me thru everything he was doing. I m definitely going to use them to winterize. Great price for the amount of work that was done.

Their team missed the first blow out appointment so I had to reschedule another, that was a disappointment. They appear to do decent work but they are VERY expensive. Example: 10 Minute blow out was $100 plus they tack on the credit card fee and a ridiculously expensive late fee $25 if you dont cut them a check ASAP. $129.5 for 10 minutes of work doesnt seem reasonable.

Dirtman did our winterizing, very professional and efficient

They did a fine job blowing out the sprinklers, however they are extremely expensive. $115.00 for a sprinkler blowout is far too much. Good company overall but be aware of the cost prior to using.

They helped me out with my sprinkler blow out last minute when the person I originally asked to do it no showed. They got me in the same day I called!

Dirt man installed our system 12 years ago. New home built next door recently, found out one sprinkler head was installed over our property line, needs to be moved 3 inches over. Property markers have not changed. Called dirt man to correct their instillation mistake. Talked with Dan, unwilling to correct his companies mistake. Cites unable to warranty a car part after 12 years. Unfortunately, placement of sprinkler heads is not a part issue, rather it is a knowledge and skill issue. Concerning that the sprinkler head can not be placed on the correct property using the property markers. I would not work with this company again, skill/education level is concerning but more important is unwillingness to follow up with correcting foundational instillation mistakes no matter how much time has gone by. Really poor customer service. In response to Dans reply below, no modifications have been made to our system as I have already communicated,. Additionally, I never did say the property markers were hard to find in our phone conversation. I DID say, they had never moved. These same markers are how the fence company next door came to find the instillation mistake with our sprinkler head. Hope if your company finds markers hard to find or use, they would consult the home owner, this was never done in our case since you used the markers that have always been there.

I was not able to be home during the broken line repair but had dug out the area myself first. Not being able to fix it I called Dirtman, and dropped off my garage door remote putting the grass and dirt in a bag in the garage with the intention that I would just plant grass later and fill the hole. After the tech repaired the line, he went into the garage to test the line, happened to notice the bag that was among the junk, and when I got home to check out the repair, was amazed he went the extra mile, found the grass and replanted and set the area back up like it never happened! Very Impressive!

Quick and polite, we had our sprinklers serviced for a spring tune up at a new home. The rep was so patient and kind to walk me through exactly what to do examined each sprinkler head and replaced two broken spots immediately. Will continue to call them for any service we need.

Dan and his team are second to none. From the care and thought they put in during the original estimate to the finished product, the professionalism and customer service were apparent. Communication between Dan, his team, and myself was great (both via email and phone), especially given the extenuating circumstances of 2020 coupled with other projects that delayed getting an irrigation system in. Dan was willing to work with my schedule and delays, and when it came time to get the job done it was completed in a timely and thorough manner. His knowledge and experience yielded a well thought out system that covers my unique needs, and accounted for many other factors that other companies overlooked in the bidding/planning process. I ve only required one adjustment from the initial installation and Dan came out and took care of that promptly. Worth every penny, which was in line with other companies prices. You won t regret working with this family run business.

Terrible. I will never ever recommended them. Technician increased my zone watering times without my permission resulting in a huge water bill. They were unwilling to take any responsibility and provided no customer service.

The Dirtman team has always been great to work with. They are professional and courteous. The employees have proven to be hardworking. Whenever Dirtman calls we know that the job will go smoothly.

Called them to look at our sprinklers. They came to the house and said they would call us back with a quote. No one ever called back. We did not bother following up with them as it was very easy to find another company to get the job done with better customer service than that.

Our sprinklers do not work correctly at all after these people got done with them. I called them and the woman was rude and condescending instead of trying to help us she proceeded to insult me without any resolution to the issues THEY caused!!! They cashed our check but we have to hire another company to do the job right. Very disappointing!!!

Why does any company that comes in with large machinery then need to turn on a radio to be heard over that machinery? Not good neighbors!

Last week was the first time we used Dirtman. There were adjustments to be made, some parts to be replaced, and a general check to make sure everything is being watered correctly. They were prompt, efficient, and pleasant. We will be using them this fall to shut down the system and next spring to get it ready for summer.

Recently we needed to move our sprinkler hook-up, due to new Missoula Water requirements. We contacted Dirtman because they had previously done work on our system. It took them two days to return our calls, during which time we got someone else. When they did call, they refused to bid an estimate, because we had not maintained the sprinkler system. We were astounded because we had contacted them for work on our system, and they were apparently arbitrarily refusing to work for us. It worked out that we got another company, and we are glad that we did, because their initial response seemed unreliable and arbitrary, and killed our confidence in their professionalism.

We have used Dirtman with our sprinkler systems for many years in several houses. Recently I had them out to help move or add a head because the removal of an old spruce tree meant we had a lot more grass to cover. Their technician was there the next day and done in 20 minutes with that task so I said while you are here... and he fixed a couple of other things to give us better coverage in another few minutes. The charge for all was very reasonable. I would highly recommend DIrtman Sprinklers.

Google: I need more than 5 stars for Dirtman Sprinklers! I seriously can t speak highly enough of Dirtman Sprinklers. The office staff is efficient, well organized and friendly. While I have only worked with one of their professional staff (plumber Chris) he was courteous, experienced, and went over and above to make certain that he assisted me through a process at a time when I was clearly in well over my head without making me feel that I was asking any stupid questions (although I m certain I was)! Chris was extremely efficient and did an excellent job in a very timely fashion. In fact, Chris was literally at my doorstep within five minutes of my call to Dirtman sprinklers! We had a big project of re-connecting our underground sprinklers after a big deck construction project left them severed. Dirtman Sprinklers came several days earlier than originally estimated and their crew hand-dug new sprinkler line trenches (because our yard is so steep and inaccessibly to their normal automated equipment) and put in new garden drip lines - all in about three hours, and for the cost estimated by Dan. Everone was quick, friendly, efficient and enjoyable to talk with. They did a great job communicating, asking about where sprinklers, garden drip lines and underground lines should best be placed. We were very happy with the whole experience and would recommend Dirtman Sprinklers to anyone.

We were very pleased with Dirtman Sprinklers when they installed our sprinklers years ago. Excellent timely, and professional service. Since then, weve re-arranged our gardens, had trees removed and asked them twice to come and move sprinklers and install new garden sprayers. They responded quickly and got the work done. Following the technicians visit (for spring start-up), I noted an issue -- an old problem for which Dirtman Sprinklers was not responsible -- and was able to resolve the problem over the phone. Was not familiar with underground sprinklers prior to my move, so I had tons of questions. The Dirtman Sprinklers rep was always patient, professional, and courteous. They get a high recommendation from me.

Last fall Dirtman installed a sprinkling system and laid my lawn. They were very timely and professional. The lawn survived the winter extremely well and is beautiful. Dan Burgat from Dirtman Sprinklers came out and laid out a plan for a sprinkler system at my house in Missoula. He was the most expensive by $300 but I liked him and the plan he laid out. He and his crew completed the job and had it running in one day. Some of the craftsmanship regarding the installation of the Pex plumbing lines in the basement had to be corrected by another more experienced worker (but it was done without much coaxing). They had to come back and add a sprinkler head and adjust and change out others for a different type, and did that in a timely manner. He told me that he would supply me with a drawing of where the lines and heads are. The drawing he sent me looked like a 10 year old kid did it with crayons. There were no measurements, no zones identified, no head type identification; it was the most unprofessional drawing I could have imagined. I sent it back to Dan and he baiscally said tough luck, thats all we do. Remember he had been paid by then! He is a pretty nice guy, and the system works just fine but I would be sure to keep an eye on his crews craftsmanship and have your drawing in hand before paying him a plugged nickel. Would I hire him again? Probably, but I would be specific about the level of craftsmanship I expected and not pay him before I had drawing in hand.

We called, Dan came out and visited the house, he was very professional and polite. He came up with a plan that made sense to us and didnt kill our budget. The system was installed in one day and working immediately. We had one sprayer we needed moved and it was done within a day of our call. No issues or problems since install.
