Broke two windows and 9 months later still have not repaired them. Mows grass when wet, kills plants. Do not use this company

We live in the Valley View Terrace Townhomes and we consider this company the worst lawn service ever. They mow too fast, don’t mulch or bag, so clippings are left all over the lawn. They weed eat so short it kills the lawn or at the very least it burns. Yesterday after significant rainfall on Sunday evening and another rain shower in the morning, they mowed and left a huge mess. It will have to be mowed again to clean up the mess. Would not recommend!

The condominium community I live in is in no way satisfied with the work done every week by Rankin landscape. First, the mowing is terrible, it’s mowed too fast and without regard to peoples landscape or the grass itself. Burnout spots and uneven grass dot what we have. Second and most importantly the weed eating, it is the worst I have ever seen. Burnt down to dirt a lot of places, missed spots and it is done the same way every week. Third, it is often mowed when it is way to wet which clogs the mowers and leaves grass everywhere and only about a third of the complex is even blown off a little. It seems to be getting worse as the the weeks go by and they send 2 people to do a 4 man job. I’m sure it’s not the same for everyone they do, but for us I wish they cared.

I was the facilities manager at one of our local hospitals and had Chad and his company Rankin take care of our lawn and snow work. They always did an amazing job for us and Chads customer service and attention to detail is off the charts. I wondered if I got this good treatment because we were a large account, however, I recently made the jump to a much small company and hired Chad for our lawn and snow maintenance and the service and attention to detail is still top notch. They are hands down the best landscape contract in our area!

Over the past nine years that we have lived here, Rankins Landscaping has been nothing short of excellent. Both in yard maintenance and snow removal. Owner, Chad Rankin, is extremely responsible, hard-working, and very approachable. Our HOA out at The Ranch Club is so very lucky to have found a company that keeps our properties looking beautiful.
