This company is amazing. They came in to do yard clean up. They were fast, friendly and did an amazing job. They went above and beyond what I expected of them.

Jake and the Huckleberry guys did a fantastic job on our architectural slab walkway! As a first-time homeowner and a general do-it-yourself(er), I didn't know what to expect from working with a landscaping company, but I am so pleased with the results of working with Huckleberry, from tip to tail. Before the project even began, this project was in good hands because there was good professional communication and a setting of expectations for how everything would likely turn out. And then, seeing their work come to fruition was so good. The Huckleberry labor team was kind, hard-working, and keen to do the best work possible and the results show attention to detail. Couldn't recommend enough! Currently trying to lock these dudes down for some more work come Springtime.

Jake and the entire crew with Huckleberry were first rate. They were extremely engaged with the work and the project details - infusing the entire job with enthusiasm and artistic flare. They were very professional, hard working and friendly throughout. We are very pleased with the final result and will have them back next spring for some follow-up planting. Highly recommend Jake and crew! :)

Huckleberry Landscaping did a huge project in our backyard, including building a pergola and fire pit, revamping a wonky garden area into a small orchard, and retrofitting a difficult slope into a useful garden with raised beds. Jake organized work with several subcontractors (electrical, irrigation, carpentry, fencing, etc) to accomplish all we wanted to have done. The whole crew was incredibly easy to work with and they are all really nice people, who seemed to care about doing a good job and making sure we were happy. While the project took longer than anticipated, there were so many moving pieces (with subcontractors) it was more of a construction project than a landscaping project. Jake and his crew kept us informed throughout the project about the delays and new expectations. We loved Huckleberry’s enthusiasm and dedication and we are delighted with the new backyard, which is the perfect setting for just about any domestic outdoor activity.

Last summer, Huckleberry did a good sized hard-scaping project for us that turned out great. If that’s where the relationship had ended I could have given them 4+ stars. (photo) I see they are using several photos from our place on their website. But this spring, when it was time to replace the sod that was trashed by their equipment and by the traffic of other contractors going in and out of our back yard, they really let us down. Even though we had this project on their books since fall of 2023, it took until early June to get on their schedule for some dirt, some grading and sod. When they arrived with the replacement sod it was very brown and stinky and much of it was dead. (photo) Had I been home I would have rejected it. A month later they came back to replace all dead sod, but they didn’t bring enough sod and only replaced part of it-- putting grass seed in some areas (despite the fact that we were paying for sod). Here we are in August. Some areas are still dead in big square patterns. Huckleberry told us we weren’t sprinkling properly. No reply from Jake when I reached out before posting this. Sorry Huckleberry, you burned this bridge. UPDATE Huckleberry came by to see the problem. They brought a big crew and replaced all the dead sod and /or seeded all the dead spots. My lesson, don’t settle for dead sod in the first place.

Huckleberry installed a trench drain for us and were very pleasant and professional from start to finish. Jake was the only landscaper to arrive on time for our appointment and provide a detailed estimate. I was also impressed by the contract he provided to describe the work that they were going to do. The landscaping around the house in that area looks much better now and I can rest assured that rain/sprinkler water will no longer leak into the basement.
