Great Company! Effective lawncare! We used other companies for years and once we starting using Weed Away our weed problem was becoming less and less. At this time there are maybe 5 weeds in the whole lawn. I love a nice green thick lawn and Weed Away can make this happen for you.

Updating this post today. Morgan called shortly after posting on Google and acknowledged the missteps and issues a refund for the difference in services paid and what was rendered. 5 stars for Morgan and ownership but will see how the rest of the year shapes out before upgrading review for whole company. We do appreciate that the issues were addressed; shouldn t take this much time and energy hoping for the best moving forward. Initial review - 1 star Paid for an organic service and didn t get it. Was promised more frequent weed service than their normal schedule and didn t get that either. We have a bind weed issue that requires frequent maintenance. Explained this to them before we got service and several times throughout the year. They put down weed suppressant as the first service and then scheduled aeration and seeding the next week. I had to call them and reschedule that because you can t put down new seed right after that weed suppression in early spring. You need to wait at least 4 weeks; they should know that! Recently I called and asked them to come out and spray since it s been 7+ weeks without service; they promised they would come and they did not. I then emailed them and their response was less than apologetic. I emailed them again asking for refund of the difference from the organic service to the premium and they still haven t responded. Also they are yet to come and spray the lawn as requested. It s been 9 weeks since last service. Glad others had good experience with company but there has been a lot of rain in the last two years lawns will look better. This company needs to treat customers better. I asked them to just recognize their missteps and haven t heard back. Next step, complaint to consumer protection services Ontario for my refund and BBB complaint. Absolutely do not recommend this company.

I came across Weedaway after a neighbor on a nearby street recommended them and I noticed the results myself. Almost everyone on that street uses Weedaway and their lawns looked great! Since my original review in which we were very unhappy with the service of Weed Away, our problem was addressed immediately by both Kumal and Morgan, who made sure our lawn now looks the way we expected it to be. This being said, we have since cancelled any lawn or mosquito services for 2025.

Started using them for lawn treatments (Weed control & nutrients) 2 years ago and more recently added the mosquito control plan. Really impressed with their attention to detail, results and people whether it be on the phone or in person. Shout out to Morgan for always providing great service!

Sure owner worked his butt off to become a successful business. Maybe should pay more attention, to whats happening. Finish my contract. 2 years ago. They sent me there early bird offer for the following year. I wanted it (in my head) but procrastination happened and never signed up. As far as im concerned, dealings are done. Not in the lawn care business (always here the stories of industry strong arming). They just show up in spring and start apply. Called office and was told i dont want this, never agreed and to stop. Well they ended up coming 3 more times and charged me, then sent it to collections. Wont even mention the time the showed up and stuck a sign in my lawn, not applying and charged me. Seen on my Ring.

Hired Weed away last year to look after the lawn at both my properties as the grass was getting out of hand with all of the dandelions. We have used this company for a number of years. Started with a lawn that was struggling and year after year the improvement was very noticeable. Last few years the only complaint we have is the lawn is so lush and green and thick that we have to cut more often which is a good complaint to have!

I used their service in 2022 and my lawn was literally full of weeds. Now, it is in much better shape. Booked them again for next year. Their prices are also competitive. I took the premium package and requested core (machine based) aeration.

We have struggled with the worst lawn on the street since moving in, because our corner lot was the dumping spot for the construction site. We used Weed Away last summer and could not be more pleased with the improvement in the lawns appearance and lack of weeds. The grass quality still needs help but that is not the responsibility of this company. They did their job very well and we will definitely use them again this summer.

My husband and I live in a townhome with no external backyard access, which deters any lawn care company to do any work due to possible liability issues. Our lawn is in poor shape, and had no idea how to manage that. That s when Aaron came to the rescue! He kindly took half-an-hour of his time, at no cost, to lay out a detailed step-by-step plan for my husband and I to do the lawn care ourselves. The quality and service is above average in my opinion and the value is better than most of the Big Guys Deal with these folks with confidence. Only had one minor problem in 10 years and that was resolved ASAP !!

Service is good. All weed gone and lawn looks beautiful.

Our lawn was overrun with weeds especially Creeping Charlie that was choking out and replacing our grass. I tried to deal with it myself with home remedy and big box store products to no avail. We put our lawn in the hands of Weed Away and after a season of service the Creeping Charlie is gone and the grass can now grow again unimpeded.

In 2022, I tried this company for Law Care. Between Fall 2022 and Spring 2023, they made few calls to remind me of the service. I was not interested since, I was moving. But there was service done without my consent on Apr 12 23 and I received an invoice too. I called company. There were some argument. Which led to the escalation to the owner of the company. Next day, Saturday, early morning, owner (Morgan) called. He is real businessman with business ethics. He is the most polite, gentle, full of listening skills and empathy. He cancelled the invoice. He offered me free (one time) treatment as curtesy which I declined. Business is business. And miscommunications and misunderstandings do occur. We are Human Beings and liable to make mistakes. But the best part is to solve the problem. Which Morgan did with the most effective way. Kudos.

I have used this service since 2021 and it was not great but decent. Decided not to use them for 2023. I had some issues when I decided not to use them but the manager has called me to sort things out.

be careful with this company! this morning there is one man from this company to go to my backyard directly without notifying us when we are at home. My wife just go out, and see the man. she let me talk to the man to ask why he is here without our permission. We even do not order any service from this company. so I just let him go, and take the invoice as well. I never see this kind of business.

I ordered lawn maintenance services from Weed-A-Way for a season. They sent me a service bill for 2023 . Then I called them as I was mad at them and asked them how you charged me for service without my consent to renew and enter my backyard. They said it s auto renewal just same like health card . Then I told the guy I am not renewing the contract for 2023 and he said that he will cancel the bill . Then 2 weeks back they send me a new bill for spring. I called Weed-A-Way again and was mad again then he said that they found a call on April from me but there no records !!! Don t ever deal with this company again as they are going to scam you forever.0 stars. I am going to raise this issue to Canada consumer protection

Weed Away appeared to do what I asked them to do. I wanted the weeds to not be a problem and for the most part they werent over the summer and to deal with any remnants of grubs.The only issue was the crab grass that I had to remove manually myself and that took some time. The grass looked good with their fertilizer programme

However, after hiring Weed Away a couple of years ago to remove some stubborn weeds, my lawn has never looked better. They have better skills and product than I am capable of doing myself. My lawn was managed by a gardener I had been using since I moved into my new house and my lawn was always in rough shape. I decided to stop using the gardener and engaged Weed-a-way to provide seeding, fertilizer, aerating, weed control, lawn assessments etc. and started cutting my own lawn. i had used this company for 2 years in a row- the 1st year their serivce for not up to the standard as there were weeds still growing out on the concreate portion of the property. when i bought this to their attention i was informed by KUNAL, that they are getting products in the 2nd year which could resolve this issue. during their 2nd year of treatment to my property i noticed that this issue wasnt still handled. Speaking to their manager kunal on this, he informed that the product that were suppose to use was not delivered on time but they have an alternative but would have to charge me for it. i had a resonable argument with him and he wanted to take this matter to his boss and get back to me. which never happend. this company is not they promise they are.

Weed-a-Way serviced our property during the 2022 season and did a great job. We have a corner lot and included areas outside of our garden in the contract. They all were maintained well and the grass looked much better everywhere at the end of the season. The company fertilized grass and provided a grub control service. Due to this reason, I am very happy to edit my review and give them full stars. Thanks again, Morgan! Last year I lived in Brampton, and I loved Weed Aways service. I moved to Oakville this year, and I decided to continue with them. However, this year I am surprised their service has gone south. We have to call them so many times for them to come and do the treatment. In this summer, they have only done two treatments so far and the last treatment was like almost two months ago. My lawn was better after the second treatment but now it has started growing weeds again. Its almost the end of the season and they still have two more treatments pending. Every time I call them, they make different excuses about the weather and all. I am very disappointed with their service this year. I will go to different provider next year and I recommend everyone else, specially if you live in Halton region, to stay away from this company.

These guys are great. This is the second year Im using them now. Theyre quick to respond and I never have to deal with a touch phone system when I call them. I called them a few times last year due to a ton of weeds I had in the yard. They came a few days after and advised me on how to maintain the yard during extremely hot days. I plan to keep using their ongoing services. My yard has never looked this good. I went from having bald patchy and weedy grass to thick lush grass that is the envy of the neighbours!

We were hunting for a new source for weed control and lawn enhancement when by chance I met Morgan, a Weed A Way professional. We immediately hit it off, super friendly and highly knowledgeable! I explained my situation and location and as it turns out he lives close by. He said he d stop by soon and check out lawn. True to his word he arrived the same afternoon, lengthy evaluation and discussion of what specific program would help us the most. April 2022 - Used them last year and excellent work. They were also very receptive and helpful to deal with. One complaint I have is the auto-renew each year, which perhaps wasn t explained well in the beginning. Update - July 2022: I have since been billed several times for the work I didnt ask for despite being told it would be taken care of. As such I have reduced my review.

Requested twice second weed and feed service with online request form. No response and no service. Update: Morgan called me and I understood there were some issues with online requests and he suggested I call or email for quick response. Received service yesterday and Tyler spoke with us in detail about the lawn and answered our questions.

I would not use Weed Away, their service left my lawn with horrible stripes on it and they refused to correct it. I had a friend send them images of my lawn as if it were their lawn and Weed Away told them that this was obviously the fault of the technician not spacing the treatment properly. I had to hire another service to repair this and it took two seasons to get rid of the stripes!!!

TERRIBLE!!! Do not use this company. They destroyed my lawn when I complained they said it was because I didn t sign up for their premium package.

I have tried many of the other companies locally and always had to either follow up with them to show up or the spraying was not done fully on our lawn. Heard about Weedaway on a Facebook group and gave them a try. Very happy with the application of weed control. Will be using them again next year and do recommend them.

Used their basic level service for the 2022 season, which should include 3 fertilization treatments and 2 weed control. Instead, only got 2 fertilization plus weed control and didnt get the fall treatment toward the end of the season. When I called and asked about the missing fall treatment, the guy in charge said that the last weed treatment that happened in August was considered fall treatment. This is ridiculous because I specifically called in August to ask for the weed control and had asked about the fall treatment in the same call, for which I was told its too early and they would come once the weather is cool enough. The man I spoke with on the phone said they had all the service calls recorded and he would investigate into this matter. However he never did (not sure if he lied) and needless to say he never bothered to call me back. I would also stress the only reason I called twice for the weed treatments during summer months was because while I paid extra for a bigger yard footage, the technician who came didnt treat my backyard in the 1st weed treatment, and hence the repeated request. Judging from some of the negative reviews on this company clearly I wasnt alone in getting inconsistent service. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Hello Everyone , Please be very careful with this family owned business they are trying to cheat the customer . Beware of the scam! I have used this service for 2021 and it was very bad service.. there was no proper communication of what is done to our lawn and never saw any improvement. Decide not to use them for 2022. This company claims they have auto renewal policy and have entered my property without my knowledge and my acknowledgement .. they are claiming they have rendered 4 services which we are not aware and they are asking us to pay for the service through collection agents. Very bad business and trying to make money with some default policies..

Their service is good. Our lawn has definitely improved in the two years that we have been using their services. However due to personal reasons we had to cancel their service for this year. When I called in to cancel the customer service was definitely lacking. We would have most likely signed back up next year but are now no longer sure if we will. Our lawn is pretty much the nicest on the street since hiring weed away last year our lawn turned around as we always battled with these weeds and over growth with thistles and other weeds. We had our fertilizer and core aeration with the seeding so far and the grass is really nice. The technician Jesse came out to inspect the grass before because I have sprinkler systems and he helped me mark them as I have not yet had the system opened which was a big help. Would recommend services

This business has no integrity and not reliable. Just resodded my lawn fall 2020 and hired this company for weed/fertilizer control at the beginning of the season 2021 and they dont show up. Lots of weed is now growing and spreading on my new lawn. They continue to give excuses. Before they showed up for the first treatment, I had to call them several times after so much weed had grown. Again, for the second treatment, they were suppose to service our lawn every 5 weeks, they havent shown up. Two days from today will be a month over due their second visit. What a terrible service!!! I will not be using this company again. I dont need this as it is unnecessary. What a headache!!!

I have tried EVERYTHING for the past 2 years. I cannot believe how AMAZING these pros from WeedAway have been. I have had more time to take of my grass since the pandemic started last year. I spend probably way too much time each night taking care of it. However, last summer and this spring i started to get really bad -Creepy Charlie -Clovers -Dandilions I literally have spent hundreds of dollars of over priced ineffective retail products like Scotts Weed-B-Gone etc... I was even tempted to spend a $60 on just shipping fee on Amazon for US products. I even went to pain of trying to hand pick the creepy charlies but eventually came back with vegence. My wife finally suggested that i seek professional help (not just because of my lawn obsession lol). I read reviews from other folks on WeedAway and really found it helpful seeing the BEFORE and AFTER pictures that people post. So i gave it a shot, $200 later and i CANNOT believe how amazing it turned out. I just wished i found WeedAway last year. For proof look at my Lawn in July vs now Sep 21. Last year on this Sep it was a disaster with Creepy Charlies too. I just pre-paid my 2022 Premium service, trust me these professionals from WeedAway is worth every penny.

I cannot say enough positive things about the customer care and professionalism we have received with Weed Away Lawn care. Morgan came out today to personally check out my lawn and did a complimentary re-spray for the weeds that were spotted. I truly appreciate their care and concern for their customers. I have already recommended them to three other neighbours on the street and a friend close by who have since joined the Weed Away Lawn Care Family. The difference in our lawn in the short three years since we bought this house has been huge. Thank you sincerely.

Paid the money in advance like any other companies asking for without warranty their work. They came around a few times and managed to burn the grass and seed the lawn. After seeding the lawn there were more weeds that never before. When I asked then about bad results they told me because the grass has some insect in the ground. Finally I have to close the service with them since it is a scam. The grass has been left burned and full of weeds. Do not ever hire this service

I have been using Weed Away Lawn Care service for 3 years and couldnt be happier. Before I started using them, I had a pretty awful large dead patch in my backyard with SO many weeds all over. Basically, if I was to pull out all the weeds, I wouldnt be left with much grass. It was embarrassing and my kids couldnt play on the grass because the weeds were so prickly! Enter Weed Away and my lawn has never looked better. Within the first year I saw a huge improvement in my lawn and as a result Ive been using their service every year. Im already pre-paid for next years service. I highly recommend this business (I became a customer because a friend of mine recommended them) and you wont be disappointed with the difference you will see in your lawn.

My lawn had lot of weeds and had tried various weed killers which didnt solve any of these problem. Through my neighbors reference opted for Weed Away Service and cant be happier, my lawn looks pretty green with 90% of weeds are gone. They have a nice team on time and notifies a day prior to appointment. Only complaint is they dont seed as much as required to grow beautiful lawn. You may have to over seed after they do their job, thats why 4 stars.

Very timely service and response. I took their package to get rid of all the weed in the backyard. Most of it died but some came back. Weed away was happy to do a free service. Some stubborn ones stayed back though.
