Terrible experience

Actually they gave me a super disappointing feeling cause my lawn is much worse than last year when I purchased my house. I got complete program, but now,weeds everywhere, it seems no weed control service.and grass are getting more and more sparse from this spring. If you sent email to let them know the problem,no response.email for them is the only way to send you their advertisement!!!. I am so regretting that I didn t choose another company that my previous house owner hired. Today,7th November, I sent a. Email to cancel all services from this company because of their terrible service.hope they will not do the same thing as what other clients s comments that just come to my house without informing then give me a bill !

We tried using home turf and not convinced with their results. My lawn look almost the same despite the whole treatment conducted. Its full of weed and the grass quality has not improved much. It feels like they hire school kids who are unprofessional, unexperienced, always in great hurry to complete all their routes and dont have common sense to move things lying on the grass before they start spraying chemicals. This leaves large patches of grass untouched by the fertilizer or weedicide. So all money wasted. Wont be using this service in future. Not advised.

Reasonable prices, lots of options, and no pestering to upgrade. They come when they say they will, but are flexible if I need to change the appointment. Shout out to Jason Santin for his work the other day - great customer service.

I recently signed up with Hometurf Lawn Care for next year, 2025, for my lawn after a detailed research, there track history is excellent. I dealt with Sharad he is the reason I signed with Hometurf. He is very professional and friendly and offered me service within my budget, which I couldnt refuse.. in my honest opinion he great asset for Hometurf..

Terrible company. My lawn never looked so bad. After I paid for a year of service I decided not to renew the following year. They came anyway even though I didn t renew. I called after they made one visit and told them I no longer wanted their services and I had not renewed They said renewal is automatic. They came a second time and drove over my lawn and damaged my driveway lights. I called them again and they claimed that they had no record of my cancellation call. Finally they stopped coming. Then they billed me for the entire season and threatened me with debt collection if I did not pay. I received a notice from the collection agency this week. Quite a business plan this company has. Two unwanted visits and bill you for an entire season.

Brian did an amazing job trying to get every weed on our hard surface. He took his time and made sure he didn t miss anything. Really liked his efforts and professionalism.

Pathetic services... Use their services if you want to waste your money. The technicians hardly cover the entire area of the lawn in the front or backyard for fertilizing or seeding. I have CCTV footage that clearly shows they cover only a small area. Go for another company.

Ive been using Hometurf for years. Service and price are great. Arvind has been my tech this year and has done a fantastic job of eradicating some tough weeds for me.

I had a terrible experience with these scammers. I paid nearly $500 for weed treatment, over seeding, aeration, and fertilizer. My lawn didn t change one bit. I had to work on it myself. They rarely show up and when they do they spend less than 10 minutes on a large lawn. I have camera footage showing them barely applying anything to the yard despite it having a lot of weeds. Trust me, you re better off doing the work yourself or calling another company that is trustworthy.

Someone calls me on a Saturday saying I owe money for a service that I dont know anything about. I call back and the office hours are Monday - Friday from 9 to 4. Why call me a Saturday if your office is closed and I cant respond? What kind of operation is this? Update: Called their office this morning asking about this and they told me it was a system error which prompted the call. Why do this to me and ruin my weekend? On top of this, I wonder if its meant to have me pay for a service that I didnt request. Seems very deceptive. Nobody called me or notified me that it was an error. I told them that I would not be renewing for the upcoming season. Also, to take me off of their auto renewal process which I also dont like.

Hometurf Lawn Care I m very grateful for the help Sharad gave me, in helping to resolve an issue with my payment from last year. He was able to do it quickly and efficiently, which was great!

We started using Hometurf 3 years ago. This year the service has been awful. We signed up in 2024 for the ambassador program which includes 5 applications of premium slow-release granular fertilizer. They have done 4 applications, I called and asked why is not complete as per agreement and their answered was that I was supposed to call them. So there is no apology or anybody to come for that service because now they are closed. Their customer service is very bad they never call for service and they pretend they have done service. This is ridiculous, unacceptable and honestly just embarrassing for a company. Not sure what happened to this company but I would never recommend their services again. I spoke to others in the neighborhood today about what happened, and they said the same thing NOT happy with HomeTrurf s services.

This was the first year I used Hometurf Lawn Care. The most important thing for me was weed control. Unfortunately, I had to remove weeds manually all the time. Very unhappy.

Bad customer service. They charged me for the entire service and did not apply the last fertilizer. Do not recommend using this company for fertilizer.

We have paid for The Complete Program Including 6 Scheduled Visits, however received the emails not only one from Hometurf Lawn Care as a Reminder: Call Us to Schedule Your Late Fall Fertilizer Application which has never happened in the past many years. This really made us confused, do we need to CALL you and schedule for the visit? What if we missed the email and then you wouldnt come to apply we paid and deserved service? Could you please let us know any reason you sending these request to your customer? How would you manage if you did not receive the call from your customer to schedule this visit? Thank you for your time! Thanks for your response! We have been your customer for more than at least 5 years, I could not even remember exact how many years being with your company. You have never offered email notification/scheduled dates until we requested it by a couple of call two years ago. What we noticed your service those years was by the paper report left in a transparent plastic bag hanging on the front door and a sign placed in the front lawn. I have never seen a notice of Late Fall Fertilizer Application for us to make a call on a paper report. I have always been confused with the program it says with 6 Scheduled Visits, I just have no clue which visit we have been missed... This year is the only once we got the Late Fall Fertilizer Application, and the worker who scheduled for it did not even show up on the day, I had to call the company to report this, then the lady who answered call was nicely to arrange another worker come to apply. Thank you! Kindly ask to see if there is a way you could refund our previously missed visits? I appreciate your time!

Hometurf Lawn Care doesnt care about your lawn only their wallets. They come and apply minimal fertilizer. You have to call if you want fall fertilizer only so they can attempt to sign you up for next season. They only spray for weeds if you visibly have weeds and the applicators spraying for weeds only get 20% of the weeds on your lawn missing the rest due to the amount of time they spend on it. Not to mention you have to call them for re-spray of weeds if they appear after initial applications, who has time to do this. Having to call for weed re-sprays and fall fertilizer is such a dis-service not a service and a scam. My lawn was a new lawn installed 3 years ago, I signed on with Home Turf to keep my lawn looking like the day it was installed. Well it looks like the worst lawn on the street. In this case its true the grass is greener on the other side. I myself mow the lawn, pull weeds when needed, water early every morning with sprinkler system, overseed and put a top dressing on at the start of the season only to have this company ruin it. Do not use this company, they dont even deserve one star. Hometurf, Youre Fired!

The Hometurf technician, Brian Dickinson, made a special field visit to our house on 9/23 to investigate a large patch of dead grass in our backyard. He identified that Chinch bugs were the cause of the problem. He applied insecticide and then overseeded the complete lawn. This extra service is a key reason that i value the lawn care provided by Hometurf.

Good communication and service

Absolutely no customer service! They quoted me a price and are not honouring it. I thought I would try a new company this year, but it looks like Ill be going back to my former servicer. Also, the products that they use dont work as well as others.

First technician skipped the weed control and didn t fertilize the entire lawn. I had to call back and have Home Turf re do the treatments. Matthew was great. Attention to detail was good. Thanks.

I did not renew my service for this year. Yet in April they came and applied a service that I did not request. I was told that service is autorenewed, which is nonsense because they always send me notices in the mail to renew my service. They have been harrassing me now for months to pay my overdue account for the service I did not request. I keep getting emails and phone calls to pay my account. I advised that I was not going to pay for the service that I did not request. The person on the phone told me that they would remove it from my account. However, the next thing I know, I get another email asking me to pay it again. Ive called back 5 times and still have not had it resolved. A really frustrating experience. UPDATE: I have called Hometurf back and they advised that it is up to me on whether I pay the service or not. They stated that they cannot remove the charge from my account. I advised that I would not be paying for the service and requested that they stop emailing and calling me about the overdue account. The person on the phone said that they could not gaurantee that I would not be contacted........

2022 was a pretty decent service. 2023 really was poor service. Product did nothing for my grass at all. Especially compared to prior year. Phoned and spoke to the technicains on site many times - asked for a Manager every time. No-one ever got back to me. Half way through the year I cancelled due to appalling service levels - really appalling. Here I am a whole year after cancelling still trying to get a partial adjusted bill - they are still asking for the payment of the full year - yep this is how awful their customer service is - a whole year later. On the phone right now on hold again trying to talk to someone.

Moved in with a partner who has had this service ongoing. Our lawn looks terrible. He said we shouldnt be customers anymore, but alas they still show up. Apparently, to do regular weed control, but our lawn is COVERED in weeds. I dont think they do anything but drop off a bag of grass seed. Its very odd.

Called Hometurf reguarding dead patches in my lawn. They sent a technician over the very next day. Brian was amazing diagnosing the problem, explaining how he would treat the area, and steps I needed to follow up with. He was very thorough and checked my entire property for any other issues. Brian then went to work on treating the chinch bug problem, overspeed the area, and treated some weed issues while he was here. Great work! Thank you.

Really disappointed with this company. We have been with them several years and the quality continues to go down. This year when I asked the guy about treatment, he left the solution for ME to spray the weeds myself. In that case, what am I paying for? We are not renewing and even when I called anbout my concerns - no apology, nobody said someone would come out to look at it nothing. Save the money and go elsewhere or do it yourself.

I have used their services since 2016 or 2017. They iaed to be professional but unfortunately not anymore. 2024 update: Since 2023 my grass started dieng. Kept on complaining. Despite this fact, in a hope to get things better in 2024, I renewed the services. Unfortunately no improvement in grass condition but got worst. Their ppl come and just apply their routine stuff, no special treatment and care for dieng grass despite my email and phone calls.

I have dealt with Hometurf for 14 years now. In the beginning, everything was excellent (punctuality, quality of service and communication). Over the past few years, we have seen a marketed decline in all three areas. Services are done improperly and poor communication are the main issues. Not sending a reminder on all visits or not ringing the doorbell if they cannot access the backyard are some examples. My thoughts are that this business was sold to someone else a few years back. The poor management of this business has given rise to many negative reviews which have dragged down their overall rating (previously was 4.9). This was the reason we signed up with Hometurf. Definitely not renewing for next year and wishing Hometurf turns this once excellent business around.

I had a contract with this company which I didnt renew because I wasnt happy with the service. On April 15th of this year, they came and sprayed the lawn. I called them and told them to cancel the service and come and pick up the seeds they left on our property as I didnt sign up for the service this year. I keep receiving a collection letter without any explanation. The amount went up from $95 for the first visit to $207.47 currently. I called them to see why the amount more than doubled and they told me they sprayed again - which is not true - nobody came back. They wont send me any break down of the charges when I ask, they just keep sending me collection letters. I have no idea what they are charging me for as they wont send me a bill.

Deceptive contract. On initial sign up there is no explicit statement this is an auto-renewal service. Then will send misleading Renew Now to Save emails while hiding in fine print that you have to opt out of renewal. Lawn care itself is mediocre at best

I am a first time Hometurf customer. The weeds on my lawn showed no signs of improvement until 2 weeks after the 3rd application. The crabgrass situation is worse than before. I called their office to find out why the $84.95 add-on crabgrass control wasnt working. I was told that they missed the application and now was too late in the season to do it. I requested a refund for the service failed to be delivered. They told me they would not refund. They advised I use the amount for next years lawn services or transfer the credit to a friend or relative. Why would I want to subscribe to a failing service again? Why would I want any of my friends/families to go through what I am going through? I am investigating if it is legal for a company to refuse a refund for a service not rendered. I will not stop until I get my refund.

Some one from the company had sprayed the fertiliser granuels all over the driveway. Company sent a tecnician to clean it up. The person was polite and friendly. He swept all the granuels from drive way. His name was ASHRAF. He was here at around 3 pm on Aug.22.2024

Absolute worst company. Ive never left a bad review, I always give companies the benefit of the doubt but this was a terrible experience. Paid over $500 for the season and they have come twice. My lawn looks worse than when they started.

There is something fraudulent going on with this company. Sending emails that a service is complete when in reality no one came, workers coming but only doing the front yard and when we call to complain the service is never completed. They ve been taking our money but not doing the work and aren t fixing it when we call in. Just awful, dishonest, and they don t care.

Updated: After this review, someone was supposed to come for core aeration yesterday to my property, but they did it on my neighbours lawn instead and sent me the service invoice. Horrible service. I am very disappointed with the service from Hometurf this year. It has been almost two months since my last service, and despite calling them every week, no one has shown up. I specifically requested core aeration, and each time I was assured that I was on the priority list. Additionally, I have had to remove weeds from my grass myself. I will definitely not be renewing my service with them next year.

I had my last lawn application to my backyard on 8th of May 2024. I am sorry to say, as per the telephone discussion I had with customer support @ hometurf, today she was not customer friendly. I was following up regarding the lawn care schedule and she kept on saying it is 4 to 6 weeks since last application but weather permit. Last week I had spoken to another lady and she had said I am on schedule for this week. This is second week in a row they have postponed my application and almost 8 weeks now. I have weeds growing in my backyard and front and i am not happy with Hometurf lawn service. i am a long time customer and was happy with their service all these years but I am disappointed today by the way customer support has responded on the phone. I hope they keep up with their schedule and be nice to their customers.

Normally, I don t write reviews, but Home Turf has frustrated me so much that I feel compelled to share my experience. Last summer, I explicitly told Home Turf not to perform any services, yet their technician showed up and applied fertilizer anyway. Despite my non-approval, Home Turf sent me an invoice for $110 for this unauthorized service, and now they are threatening me with collections. I sent them atleast 5 email for the work I never approved .Even with the one service they performed, the results were terrible there were still weeds, and the grass turned brown. They are a bunch of scammers. Stay away from them. I will be pursuing this matter further. Save your hard earn money and all the positive review are fake.

STAY AWAY! Would not recommend Hometurf to anyone! The service did not do much to my lawn and even worse, they are currently charging me for a service that I did not even agree to... I sold my house but they continued to send people to service the property. I called every time this happened to explain that I no longer lived at that address and they assured me each time that I had nothing to worry about and the service was cancelled. I just got a bill for over $500 and the person I talked to said they had no record of my calls. 100% find another company to care for your lawn.

Short story: They helped with the weeds in our lawn but not worth the value. Service quality is negative 5 stars if that was possible. I definitely wont be renewing and will look for alternative options. Long version: We paid for the full package, which includes a lawn analysis. Weve had maybe 5+ visits already and 0 analysis. Ive called their customer service each time and they always promise that the next one will do it - never done. I find that the workers dont really care either - they dont get all over the lawn so I always have to call for another application. I didnt pay $400 to have to keep calling...I expect it to be amazing service considering its a 5-10 minute visit and they charge this much. And if you have a garden with herbs/vegetables or anything, I wouldnt use them. The carelessness when spraying means youll likely have dead plants. Look for another provider!! I gave them 2 stars and not 1 because the weed problem has improved so im not entirely upset.

Horrible. Rude. Scammers. I had Home turf for the 2022 and 2023 season and the service was OK at best but my lawn definitely needed some TLC so figured it might take a little while to turn it around. The end of the 2023 season came and went and I proceeded to sign up for 2024 to get the early bird discount. For whatever reason my payment was not properly received or processed and the sign-up did not happen. I reached out to them via email if it was still possible to get the earlybird discount and received no reply. I emailed again and got a very blunt reply that they have received no payment and would not honor the discount as it s past the deadline. at this point, I called and canceled my service and was told fine, You re off the list. I contracted another company and thought that would be that. Fast forward to spring of 2024 and to my surprise one day I come home to a sign being on my front lawn lawn was serviced by Home turf as well as an invoice for nearly $450 in my mailbox. This was an error. I discarded the invoice and sent them an email telling them there must ve been a mistake as I have already canceled and not to return for any more service. No reply was received. A few weeks later same situation, sign on my front lawn saying they had been there invoice for $450 in my mailbox. Then emailed once again, clearly stating that I had canceled do not want service and not to set foot on my property any further. I also tried calling in, but they were either dodging my calls or their customer service hours on their website are inaccurate. Fast forward to early June. They show up yet another service, during which their technician decided it was a good idea to move my children s inflatable pool on top of a bunch of sharp objects in the backyard, causing it to become punctured and useless. They also dropped another invoice in my mail and started sending me multiple warning emails about paying or they are going to send it off to collections. Enough is enough and I spend several attempts calling until I finally got through. I start to explain the situation. I do not want Services as I have another company doing it and the woman I spoke with became almost instantly confrontational and belligerent and being extraordinarily rude to me, cutting me off, telling me that all lawn care companies do this, and I need to provide a cancellation number Otherwise I owe all the money. I try to explain that I have called + emailed several times at which point I was constantly interrupted yelled at and basically told I m an idiot for not keeping all of the incorrect invoices they ve been leaving at my house. During the course of the call, the woman couldn t even keep her story straight first telling me they ve done an entire seasons worth of services, then saying they had done three services, then saying they had done five services. I asked them to show me where I signed on for recurring services and they told me oh don t worry we have all of our paperwork and we will show it to you in court if we have to. I ve never had interaction with a legitimate business that is not willing to share a copy of a mutual contract with you in good faith. They clearly rely on bully tactics and flimsy contracts to scare people and then then threaten collections. After an additional dozen emails, which went unreplied to, I was finally able to reach somebody on the phone who reluctantly told me if I paid $136 they would stop coming out. I paid them their extortion money and requested confirmation that my service had been canceled which they have since refused to give with my additional 6 attempts to get the cancellation number I was yelled at for not having in the first place. I would be extremely careful when dealing with this company and prepare to be yelled at, belittled, called a liar, and an idiot, and repeatedly interrupted if you attempt to call in and have any type of adult conversation with them in regards to simple errors. All the negative reviews recently should be clear evidence to stay away! Horrible experience with these scammers.

Started using home turf last year and had such great customer service and results with our lawn. I m quite unsure what has happened this year but the service has been beyond awful. When over seeding was supposed to be done, it wasn t. I got an email stating that they had come by and not one speck of grass seed was found on the lawn. I called to check in and was told it was a light seeding but that if no seeds were put down, that they would return to complete the job. 2 weeks later, I called to follow up on when they d be back and got told that they d only come again when there was a truck out servicing the area. At this point, it s extremely hot and useless to seed and the gentleman on the phone stated that he was sorry and that they d just do it in the fall instead. Fast forward to today: I m outside with my son and my dog and see the home turf truck drive by after being told the night before that they d be out to service our area. Nobody stopped, nothing was done today. Then I get an email stating they were by and did fertilizer and weed control. I call customer service to state that nobody came by only to be told they d have to call me back after they spoke with the guy who was supposed to come. I got told that he said there were workers on my lawn and that s why he didn t stop (not sure when a toddler could be a worker or when a small dog is a worker but whatever). I m then told that they d come back to do it. No date given. No apologies. I m curious in what world this is acceptable? I m paying for a service and if I m not checking in to make sure it s done properly, apparently it just doesn t get done. I asked to speak to a manager only to be told that service managers don t speak on the phone but that there d be a note in the file about my concerns. Hometurf has turned to absolute crap and I would never ever recommend their services again. I spoke to others in the neighbour hood today about what happened and they checked their lawns too lo and behold nothing was done on their lawns but the little sign is there. Absolute garbage and such a scam. Not sure what happened to this company but this is ridiculous, unacceptable and honestly just embarrassing as a company.

I ve given them several days to get back to me and they haven t had the courtesy to call - despite my reaching out several times over a span of 3 days. What a lousy first impression. PS it took you a few hours to respond to this review - yet, 3d later nobody called me. Furthermore, when I called the number you cite below, you have to go through a maze of options. Customers don t have time for that. If a customer leaves you there number (like I did 72 hrs ago), call them. Customer Service 101.

Why do many of the Hometurf Lawn Care employees repetatively FAIL TO READ AND ACT UPON my RECORDED INSTRUCTION to knock on my door or ring my doorbell to inform me that they have arrived to service my residential lawn areas? That unprofessional lack of respect seems to be the norm!

Your employee Samuel Powell came today to respray the patio. I would just like to complement him. He is very pleasant & has done a very thorough spray of the patio. This is the second time he came as it rained after the first time.

We have been customers for over 3 years with Home Turf. Every year we sign up for one of their packages, but did not for this season. Regardless, their technicians came by 4 separate times to apply the treatments. We advised their technicians we cancelled the service on 3 occasions and not to apply the treatment. The 4th time we did not stop them in time and they applied the treatment anyways and left the invoice on our door. The company is advising we are required to pay for the treatment despite us notifying their employees 3 separate times that we had cancelled the service. The company has charged us $124 stating we had not communicated to them we had cancelled. We are now held liable that their employees failed to communicate with them we had cancelled. They can leave an invoice on my door charging me for service, however we cannot tell their workers several times we have cancelled? We filed a formal complaint first week of June. Over a month later, a manager did not call us back after we had requested it. Instead we received a collections email. This company has lost my trust, especially with this method of running their business. I cancelled my service 3x. I will not use this company again.

Would not recommend. Disappointing and unacceptable customer service all around - from both the lack of efficacy in the products used / service given to the customer service experience.

I m a long time customer, it used to have excellent service. Unfortunately, its service is deteriorating in the past few years. Their technicians had missed applications for one side of my lawn, not one, but two times this season so far. This is unacceptable. Also, weed control for lawn & patio were badly done. Missed many spots and had call and ask to come back to reapply.

Home turf Lawn Care Service, is the best service offered in the Brampton area. Very pleased with their results. Would highly recommend! Our lawn looks great, we receive many compliments from neighbours and friends.

We have used home turf for years and always accommodative and professional.

We never hired HomeTurf. But they showed up to our house on Tuesday morning at 9:30 am. They went into our backyard and started spraying and spreading fertilizer. My spouse sent me a text asking if I hired them. She was upset. I was upset because I would never hire a service to spray chemicals on our lawn. We have two pets. One with a compromised system. We have two young men on our security cameras and the truck they drove up in on video. I called HomeTurf and explained what I just wrote. I was assured by a woman (who sounded older than 25) that all their products are pet friendly. To be cautious, we waited about 10 hrs before letting our pets out. The next day our pet with a compromised system started to throwing up several times. I contacted HomeTurf back and asked what was in the chemicals that they sprayed on our lawn. A young man named Doob said he didn t know but would find out and contact me back ASAP. Hours went by and nothing. I called back after 4pm and their office was closed. My spouse called poison control for pets. They couldn t help because we didn t know what was on the spray. We rushed our pet to the pet emergency hospital in Scarborough. They took blood and examined our pet. $700+ later they didn t have an answer because they didn t know what was in the spray. It is Saturday and our pet is slowly starting to eat. If she turns for the worst we are going back to the pet emergency. We ve been told to contact a lawyer and possibly the police. If HomeTurf doesn t respond we will be at least contacting a lawyer. If our pet dies we will be contacting both.

Jason was very helpful and attentive to the issues my lawn was experiencing. He had taken the time to discuss the treatment he had to apply that day.

Not impressed. Called last Fall as the grub treatment I paid for was never done. They refused to refund my money, just carry it over to this year. Asked to change my 1/2 day/1 day notification of an upcoming visit to 2/3 days. I have a reason, too long a story. No problem, my file was updated. Two visits so far this year and I got no notifications at all. A problem for me as I have a backyard pool and thus keep my back gate locked. So only my front lawn gets treated until I complain. Just asked for my notification be returned to the one day, suspicious that their apparent new system can handle anything else. Will see what happens. Did suggest a cancellation of my service and refund but again they said they dont give refunds. What kind of company has this approach considering they pride them selves on great customer service. Still waiting.

Came back to do a respray as the previous Technician did not spray the backyard. Last treatment was supposed to be fertilizer and weed control but dont seem any treatment done. Samuel came to do a respray and did a thorough job.

Yikes this company is absolutely horrific all across the board. Communication, bad. Customer service, bad. The actual quality of lawn work, absolutely bad. Not only is the work done poorly, they rush through whatever theyre doing as if they have to somehow complete 10,000 houses per day. There is zero attention to detail given to anything. One of the main reasons I hired them was core aeration, and they did a phenomenally poor, super rushed job of it. The communication between their support and the staff that does the job is also so poor. Half the time they didnt even access my backyard lawn, just left after doing only front yard!? Despite of speaking to their support repeatedly about this nothing changed. Ive seen companies that dont care as much, they at least do the job okay. These Hometurf guys are inventing some next level of subpar absolutely zero care or interest shown. Its actually hilarious how bad it is, unbelievable.

I have signed up lawn care services with Hometurf for last many years. The Hometurf technician looks after my lawn very well, taking care of the weed grasses and insects. The technician was always on time and on schedule. Highly recommended.

1st review I have rever written, I wish I would give it 0 star complete scam, they did came 1st visit, basically did nothing, I saw the paper tag at 8am at my door, they were already gone, I assume the work took them less than 20 minutes. for the 2nd visit, called them 3 times, every time they said they will come soon but they cannot give me an exact date, then I decided I dont want it anymore, I live in a high populated area its not like I live in the middle of nowhere, I am not receiving the service and I want a refund, they said they dont have refund policy, not even partial refund. just save your money, dont get scammed by this company

I learned about this new feature from a HomeTurf email newsletter. Also, it is possible to submit questions directly from the HomeTurf website, by clicking on Contact. Today i had a call from Dood at HomeTurf, in response to questions i submitted through the Contact website feature. I submitted my questions only yesterday so I was pleased to hear from Dood so promptly. Dood patiently and thoroughly answered my questions. My concerns were resolved to my satisfaction. I have been a HomeTurf customer for over a decade and I am pleased to say that their service just keeps getting better. Thank you Dood, for all your help today.

Extremely poor service. Definitely the money went in the drains. I won t subscribe going ahead nor will I recommend anyone else to. I don t receive the treatments on time or whatever I receive is of poor to moderate satisfaction. I received an email someone would come for aeration and they never did.

Julian S serviced us. He explained in detail the work he was going to do. Julian applied the weed treatment and fertilizer very well without missing any areas. His takes pride in the work he does and was polite, communicative and gave some very helpful lawn care tips. The previous technician did shabby work, completing my rather large lawn in less than 5 minutes and did not cover many areas with fertilizer. I recommend Julian to everybody and would like to request he does my lawn for the rest of the summer. Super work Julian.!

I just wish I could read the negative reviews before I engaged them to service my lawn as I find myself in a similar situation. ***Stay away from this company and save yourself a huge headache *** They are incredibly irresponsible, absolutely not professional at all, and a rude customer care manager threatening you when you want to cancel their useless service. First off, a technician in the first visit jumps the gate to my backyard at 6am in the morning, which is a big violation of privacy, - second visit, technician spray front Lawn for weed control while raining, which I dont know how it makes any sense. Then, I didnt see any small improvement whatsoever, contrary to what i was told to expect (greener grass by summer),so I decided to cancel their service when they called me to notify me for the third visit date. Here is when they become even more rude. Mixing up information with their other clients accounts, learned that they added extra services to my account without my consent at all, and then from a converastion sounding like wanting to fix the issues I brought up, to having the customer manager telling me that since Im canceling their service, she decides to increase the service fees to which I already paid for (p.s there have been just 2 services) and when i decline to pay more for service I already paid once, threating me to send it to collections. **I really hope they dont do that as Ill not hesitate to take all the necessary actions to protect my rights as a previous consumer of their services. On another note, they never provides you with a contract nor ask you to sign any agreement, no cancelation policy sent to you and everything is done over the phone and they think they can change terms, prices and make policies as they please and ofcourse they never make you aware of anything they decide on their own as they please. Funny enough, I see their response to the negative reviews here sounding way more polite and willing to assist their unsatisfied clients compared to their responses over the phone.

Avoid this company. The money you pay will go to the drain. They lie about their service

UPDATE April 2024 from Last Season (See Original post below): The rest of last season (2023) continued with poor quality, as described in my original review. However, the experience has gotten even worse still, a year on. I have informed HomeTurf MULTIPLE TIMES that Id like to cancel, and told them why. And, as of today, I have still received an email for an upcoming scheduled service. I called a representative after waiting 35 minutes, who then directed me to another representative to cancel. That representative said it was cancelled, but also said they cant confirm the cancellation of the booking!? As such, Ive also had to call my credit card provider to let them know that any future transactions from HomeTurf are not to processed. Original Review: So far, I havent been entirely impressed with HomeTurf. The two visits theyve done so far were the bare-minimum, and it appears on the first visit, they didnt even fertilize as they said they did. Reply times are wilfully slow. The driveway weed add-on was what Id call a spot treatment and not truly preventative. I had MUCH better success with NutriLawn last year and regret not staying with them. Im giving 3 stars for now to see if they improve and this is just an unfortunate start to the season. Will update this review as needed.

The products they use seem to work well. That is when they show up to apply them. July 9 and my late spring fertilizer and weed control still hasnt been done. Same problem last year with skipped applications, them telling me I would have to call in if I want it done. Reply to owner: No one ever got in touch and no issues were ever resolved. Not sure why they are saying that. Totally not true.

Hometurf lawn care service company is a scam, they send you an invoice saying that we did this, but I have seen many times from my home camera that only one person gets out of the car, gives an invoice, leaves and does nothing, and without you asking, they comes and charges for the next year and works. They want to continue their disgrace and take money from your bank account without you saying it again, I do not recommend this company at all.dont give them your credit card number.

I had taken their services last year but they should up yesterday at my place and did the work without any authorization and left me with the bill. No phone call or intimation before the service call. I called their customer service this morning and they were trying to give me a deal...like common, are you serious. They are bunch of unprofessional people trying to get $$$ out of you. DONT TAKE THEIR SERVICES! BE AWARE

I invest a lot of time into my garden and I happy with the care & attention Hometurf gives my lawn. A beautiful lawn enhances the beauty of the garden. I have used Hometurf for over 15 years and have recommended it to my neighbors who constantly change their service providers.

It s end of April and I m still waiting for my first service. No fertilization or seeding done yet. This year they re behind and lawn is getting affected ! Complained via email and still waiting for response.

The service from Hometurf was fine. I find with all lawn care services you really have to keep track of when they show up. My biggest disappointment is the automatic renewal. I got multiple invites to renew early for a discounted rate only to find out that they will renew you automatically regardless so what is this offer all about. Been with Hometurf for 4 years and couldnt be happier. Today we just received our first application by Damola and he was very informative and helpfull.

This will be my first year using Hometurf, so far I have found the staff to be great and the pricing fair. My first service with Damola was great, he explained to me what he thought was needed and was considerate of my need to properly close all my gates to not let the dog out.

Hometurf lawn care has great lawn care guys- however below are the problems they have on their call center/service side- 1. they changed my price form 265 to 378 without my consent 2. I asked them why the price has changed they mentioned its inflation- Sudhee from home turf mentioned that to me. 3. I then asked not to initiate my service - which I have email records off and have multiple times mentioned on the calls- their CRM system has no record of this- hence they mentioned- it is auto renewed at higher rate rate ($102 higher/about 33% higher rate) they wish just because its per their T&C that they can auto renew. - Elizabeth from home turf 4. I have full email conversations on the same. 5. The same practice was performed last year but they fixed the price and accepted it was an error on their side. This is just plain and simple fraud- how can any company charge me any amount without a consent! Third photo is last year when Hometurf fixed the billing issue.

If I could I would give them a 0. They do not come when they are supposed to and no amount of calling will rectify that. I asked for a refund and they told me it was company policy not to refund. I would advise against using this company. I have used them for 3 years and the service has steady declined.

May, 6, 2024 I am deeply saddened by my continued negative experience with Hometurf Lawn Care, and unfortunately, this is my second review expressing my disappointment. After the devastating incident where Hometurf destroyed my beloved tomato garden, I was appalled to receive an email while I was away, informing me that a service had been performed on my property and demanding payment of $170.88, Total payment for the season $627.00 and cancelation prior program completion subject to $20 charge. 1. Firstly, I never signed up for any service after the destruction caused by Hometurf Lawn Care. Who in their right mind would willingly engage with a company that has already caused such damage? 2. There was no courtesy call or email to inform me that a service would be conducted on my property, giving me the opportunity to decline. Had I been informed, I would have immediately rejected their services. 3. To add insult to injury, my property has a locked gated backyard and is pie-shaped, with the larger portion located at the back. Despite this, Hometurf proceeded to enter my property without warning or consent and performed a service on the small front portion, charging me an exorbitant $167 for their unauthorized actions. 4. Only after the service was completed did I receive notification via email. This lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable. 5. Upon contacting Hometurf to inquire about the unauthorized service, I was shocked to learn that they had automatically renewed my service from the previous year without my consent and proceeded to charge me accordingly. This feels nothing short of organized robbery or a deceitful scam. I am utterly dismayed and disheartened by the unethical practices and lack of integrity displayed by Hometurf Lawn Care. It is beyond comprehension that they would exploit their customers in such a manner. _____________________________________________________________ September 21, 2023 I had high hopes for Hometurf lawncare company, but my experience left me feeling incredibly disappointed and sad. To start, their spring aeration service was scheduled for what should have been early spring, but it didnt happen until July! By that time, my lawn was already suffering, and I was beginning to lose hope in their services. Whats worse, I have to use their service as I paid for the whole season. The real nightmare, however, came after their weed control treatment. I had carefully cultivated a beautiful tomato garden that I was so proud of, and I had been eagerly anticipating a bountiful harvest. But, to my absolute horror, the Hometurf team applied weed control on my precious tomato plants. It was devastating to watch my once-thriving garden wither away and die. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere, as Hometurf has proven themselves to be a company that doesnt care about their customers or their property. We had a yearly contract with them for two years. Every spring they would send an email communication saying they would start the yearly plan on a certain date. This year they did not send any communication and just showed up and sprayed. We had already decided not to use their services as we were moving. When we called them they said you re under contract continuously and they didn t have to contact us. Do not waste your time with these people.

I was surprised to suddenly hear someone in my backyard, without being notified in advance. I would definitely have suggested that the shared area between my neighbor and myself was not the part that needed the aeration as much specific areas of my own property. If I had a call when the serviceman arrived, I would have communicated my main areas of concern. My main suggestion would be, notify your customers in advance.

I am very pleased with Hometurf...so much so, that I ordered the service for one of my neighbours who needs a hand with weed control. DOOD from Hometurf was particularly helpful. Ive been using HomeTurf for several years now and they have been great. Unfortunately this year I am seeing a change. I am in Scarborough and they have not been responsive to my email enquiries and the initial service seemed rush to me. I have the premium service and actually paid over $200 for additional services which I feel they rushed and applied too early in the season. I have a sneaky suspicion their Scarborough arm has shutdown as the invoices look different and all the emails I am getting are from Mississauga. Somethings changed.

Ive been trying to contact this company at every number possible since purchasing a package for my family, every number is out of service???? Can i please have a correct number to contact this company - did they go out of service? I have many concerns and nobody has bothered to return any calls or messages *** Update *** 22.05.2024 I called the number provided by the company in their response to me, the number is out of service.

I recently engaged with Homefurf Lawn Care with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience has left me disappointed and frustrated. Upon realizing an error in my payment accidentally purchasing a full years subscription I promptly reached out to their customer service less than 24 hours later, seeking a refund. However, despite my efforts and discussions with numerous representatives, including a customer service manager, I was met with a firm refusal for a refund. Instead, the only option presented to me was credit for future use a solution that simply does not address my immediate need. Whats particularly irksome is the fact that no service was rendered within this short timeframe. Its baffling to me that a company would be so inflexible and unwilling to accommodate a genuine mistake on the part of a customer. This experience has taught me a valuable lesson in being cautious as a consumer, but its disheartening to encounter such a lack of understanding and empathy from a company that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction. I urge potential customers to proceed with caution when dealing with Hometurf Lawn Care , as their policies and practices may not align with expectations of fairness and accountability.

My grandmother recently had her lawn serviced by Haman and Joshua and was very pleased with their attention to detail. She felt they went above and beyond in ensuring the grass was looked after and truly appreciated the effort.

called to renew service and was treated with such ignorance, disrespect and rudeness. woman on the phone tried to charge me more than what the renewal fee was, when i said that it wasnt the price i was quoted, she hung up. this company wont ever get my business again. they probably didnt even show up most of the time anyway, i never noticed any fertilizer, seed, or weedkiller signs on my lawn. go somewhere else. ADDENDUM Hometurf tried to service property, i told them to leave, they do NOT have permission to be on the property. i did NOT request any service from Hometurf. they are a scam, attempting to service whrn they are not hired to do so. i have notified fraud division of the local police and notified credit bureau and better business bureau. Do not deal with Hometurf. Do not call Hometurf.

I had lawn service with a different company but they got bought out by Home Turf during the Covid years and unfortunately, this companys customer service is the pits! Some rude reps who have no idea about being polite to customers. After having issues with their aeration service last year, I still decided to go with them this year and paid in full in mid Feb. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints I wanted to cancel my service, but despite the fact they havent provided one service trip as yet, they refuse to refund my money! Definitely the last time ever with these guys!

I have been with Hometurf Lawn Care for a few years now. I was calling every year to renew my membership and I would call in and get a lower rate at the beginning of the season. This year I did not call or sign up. They later called and told me that they have automatically signed me up and that I owe them the full rate. They advised that I was calling before to sign up for their early bird special rate but if I did not I would have been automatically signed up and charged the full amount. Definitely a case of fine print that feels unprofessional and takes advantage of the customers. I would never return to use this service.

Hometurf Lawn Care is the real deal. In todays market of empty promises and process driven vs. customer friendly professionalism - we couldnt be happier with the Hometurf Lawn Care company and team. Significantly less in cost than my previous provider and far superior in service and value for your money. Stay away from this company. They auto renewed my account and even though I sent an email indicating that I did not want the service prior to the start of the season, they demanded payment. Even after explaining the situation, they still sent the claim to collections. Unethical and unprofessional.

Do NOT go with this company. Very poor quality of service. Had to call three times to have them come back to respray because they missed sections. Made the mistake of not unlocking the back gate once BUT was home . The technician saw two cars in the driveway but did not ring the bell. Just walked away. When I called to talk to the company about it, they said that the technicians do not ring the doorbell. Ridiculous. Their motto states that customer satisfaction is their top priority. I say thats just lipservice. Will never go with this company again and you shouldnt either.

Due to very poor service I decided not to renew my contract with Hometurf Lawn Care. Unfortunately the said it was automatically renewed as stated in the contract! I did not see this when I first signed up (perhaps it was in very small print). They now want their fee. I did not receive a notice from them for renewal and was under the understanding that I had not renewed. They have sent my bill to a collection agency. I must now pay or go to court. I suggest you do not use this business.

I may seem to repeat myself and I have posted before but I still stand by my comments about Hometurf Lawn Care. As anyone knows a good lawn takes TLC, it takes a regime to produce a beautiful lawn using natural products, its not an overnight thing. I had used another company, but from a value point I get more for my money with Hometurf Lawn Care. I will and have recommended to friends to consider Hometurf Lawn Care to take care of their lawn.

I have been with several lawn care companies in the past 30 years. I found Hometurf conducts business without pressure. They simply perform their work well, and resulting more of our neighbours join Hometurf. Hometurf Lawn care is a family business and it shows. Recently my lawn that they care for ran into trouble after weeds application. Andrew from Hometurf came and really showed they care.. he knows his stuffs, he took his time to repair as if this is his home. He is so courteous and accommodating. I appreciate his work and your Hometurf support.

Im happy with Hometurf. To be totally honest, most companies offer pretty similar services for lawn care. I found hometurf to have the most competitive prices, they come on time, do the job and my lawn looks great. will continue to use them in the future.

They will send email to alert their scheduled visit and they will follow up with a call when I forgot to mark the sprinklers for the treatment. They are on time. Thanks for the service.

Impressed with the work this year compared to last, they really upped their game. I upgraded to the complete program this year and although it is very dry and we are in need of rain, I do see a big difference in my lawn. I am happy. ****After June 30th, 2023 application, it poured rain, and I called in and told them, there will be a re-application next week . I am impressed !

Never do backyard and have to call in all the time. I sat there and watched them twice not bothering.

Extremely poor service from this company. Stay away. They applied pesticide and fertilizer all over my deck and my vegetable planters. I had to write-off my herbs and vegetable due to this contamination. The service operator told me the technician should have used an edger (ie, they admitted fault) on the phone, and that its ok to eat the vegetable after being contaminated with their pesticides anyway. I submitted my complain via BBB and it took a couple months for a few inefficient correspondences, before I decided it is not worth my time anymore going through this route. They do not have a refund or satisfaction guarantee policy. I paid approx $250 for 5 applications and got a refund of roughly $140 after I made the complaint. I made the complaint 1 day after their first visit. The pro-rated price may make sense for them, but it does not make sense for me.

I bought the package for service I paid for a whole season. They ve come twice. And when we call they say they re coming but on one does. They are terrible at responding via email or phone. I requested a refund and no one has reached out. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I lost my over $300!!! They don t care.

The company is slow to respond and get back to you they are rude and have an excuse for everything. Unfortunately our company was sold or bought and closed up and merged into this company. Price is great product is good fertilizer the product for grubs never seems to work have as many as my neighbours with out the service the problem is there weed service never ever has killed a weed call email for free re applies all I get is rude replies 2 weeks later no re application me and 2x Neighbours next door they come by for them a week or so later for me and I referred there service to them. Rude and make crazy excuses they don t do what you ask or say or what they promise. It s there way or the Hwy the fertilize is good and price but never know when I am getting my service they are late weeks and months and come and apply twice the same service as they are so big they have no idea what they are doing. They don t clean up blow or broom the mess they make all over the driveway. Weeds never seen one die requested re applies never do they come last year or this year or 2021 horrible customer service on the phone slow and rude emails not sure what there business model is cheap fast do what they want when they want is how it s been for the last 4x yrs. This was the worst service I have ever received from a company. They sold me the package with unlimited sprays. They never came when I called. I emailed and called them for resprays. I would wait for almost two weeks and have to call a few times. They wouldn t show up. I had to call numerous times before someone came out. They say within 2-3 days. I waited for almost 2 weeks. When I called today they said it would be my last spray. The service was terrible and the product was not great. My lawn still has weeds and when I called they said it would not work on all weeds but most of the weeds were dandelions which the product is supposed to work on. I understand that rain affected the product therefore I purchased the package for unlimited sprays. But that is false information that s given to you. They don t come out when called. They wait for more clients to need service in your area before they send someone out. I ve been disappointed and would not recommend this service to anyone. They say call customer service to report these things but no one helps you and they will not allow you to speak to a manager.

These people are outright scammers. We called for them to email us a quotation . We never we confirmed or accepted the quotation. They claim to have sent us a bill for a service that was never asked for nor was delivered . We never received the bill nor the service . All of a sudden after a while we receive a letter from a debt collection company for that amount . We called them to discuss and refute the bill yet they were uncourteous not even entertaining to any discussion and just wanted their money . Don t have time to take them to court because I m 100% sure they have nothing to confirm their claim but for that amount I won t waste my time on them . However for scammers like that these amounts add up Update: Called their office to try to resolve it yet the lady who answered was insisting that I should pay and failed to present me with any evidence that I agreed to the work or that they had performed the work in the first place. she was adamant that I should pay the full amount plus the fees from the collection agency .

I had a grub problem that wasn t improving with the treatment they applied. They sent a senior technician to assess and provide a plan of action. Very pleased with their service!

We were a customer of HomeTurf for the past five years (that relationship ended today). It s become apparent that there is a terrible lack of communication between the crews and the account managers something that was also apparent today (and not something management is willing to address). We have regularly had to call crews back to complete lawn applications that either were incomplete or not completed at all. Sadly, crews have been observed spending 1.5-2 minutes at our property hardly a proper treatment. To say we are disappointed is a complete understatement. Also, no one seems to care about our concerns. I wouldn t recommend this company to anyone.

2 Ways to waste 500 Dollar: 1- Throw to the garbage. 2- Work with Hometurf lawn dont care service. No body showed up in the last 8-9 weeks and I have called. Costumer service* said The Last service was at 25th August but I dont know where because in my house nobody came. I have several cameras and none of them catch those guys. Very impressive how they can lie with no boundaries. Now Im still waiting that rush visit that they promised. For sure is the worst service ever. I will never buy it again!!

If you want burnt lawns with weeds, hire Hometurf. They are the pro . I hired them two years in a roll. First year, I joined the more expensive package which will have a bonus of grass seeds application. The result, my lawn is in a bad shape for the whole entire year. I thought I should have given them another chance and sign for the second year. Out of my surprise, not only there is no more improvement on my lawn, my surveillance camera capture the staff literally walk through the area spraying hardly any weed killer and apply fertilizer in some spots only. The result: burnt lawn and weeds all smiling at me with their flowers. I also found out that they damage my fence gate. When complain the the customer service, they denial their fault and accuse that I am the one who damage my property and blame them. I am so furious and cancel my service right after they have done all their application. I even told them to put me on do not call list. What had happened is that they still kept contacted me non stop. This place IS A SCAM!!!! If you see their letter/flyer, this is where the recycling bins the document belongs. Don t be fooled just like what I have experience. Note: after I stop their service, I lost hope to those weed control company and control weeds myself by just buying weed control products from the box store. What you need is instead of broadcasting the weed killer, kill the weeds one by one by spraying them individually. It works perfectly. Along with my own care of reseeding, weeding, and fertilizing, I restore my lawn which was totally ruined by Hometurf. So good luck guys.

Be aware this company s employees are very dishonest. I paid for the most expensive package over $600. On every single application (so six times)my surveillance cameras captured the employee either improperly applying the product or simply not applying any product what so ever. Every time I had to contact customer service to insist the application be redone. Today my fall fertilizer consisted of the employee arriving at 8:33am, walking the perimeter of my property with his spreader and leaving at 8:36am. Three minutes to apply fertilizer to a lot measuring 66 by 150 . The summer fertilization was the same with the exception that the employee actually dumped the contents of his spreader on my lawn burning the grass. I emailed the management and called customer service requesting someone from management contact me and surprise no one did. Think about what they are doing to other customers who do not have the benefit of surveillance cameras to see the scam they are pulling. I have video proof of this scam and yet they offer no explanations as why this is done on every single application. In addition my package included four bags of lawn seed only two of which I actually received. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING RIPPED OFF. Response to owners comments September 25, 2023: I did call and provide your company with additional information. Your customer service manager was rude, condescending and was not interested in any type of resolution or providing an explaination. If the actual owner or someone above your customer service manager wishes to discuss this please feel free to contact me. You have my contact number on file. Until such time as that takes place I stand by my comments that your companys employees have been trying to rip me off for the entire application season and I have video to prove it. That video was supplied to your customer service manager. Maybe someone above her pay grade should take a look at what is really going on with your business. I also want to ensure THAT MY ACCOUNT IS CLOSED. I dont want any of the shenanigans I have been reading in these reviews that have you just show up next year, try to bill me and then send my file to collections. I no longer wish to do business with your company.

I starting using Hometurf at the beginning of the summer of 2021. My lawn was in bad shape and improved dramatically after the first year, and still looks excellent. The results speak for themselves.

HOMETURF ROCKS! The professionals at Hometurf were very helpful and patient in reviewing all their programs. I signed up for one of their programs, after hearing their good advice. I called a few days later to make some adjustments that better suited our needs and I spoke to Desiree, their Customer Service Manager. Desiree was incredible. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND and, with professionalism and care, setup our program to best meet our needs. Thank you, Desiree! Hometurf = EXCELLENCE.

TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION AND WILL CANCEL YOUR SERVICE WHEN YOU DONT GIVE THEM POSITIVE FEEDBACK. Dont waste your money and find a company that actually wants values and treats you well. Be prepared for the company does NOT communicate or contact you whatsoever. They take your money and randomly show up to do the work. They ask you to complete a feedback survey and if its not positive theyll cancel your account without actually speaking to the customer or addressing their concerns. Dont believe them when they say to contact them so they can make it right...waiting over a week now for someone to actually get back to me.

Our grass was over fertilized this year by Hometurf technician. We were left with patches of dead grass and the supervisor came and racked the dead grass in the middle of the summer and put new seeds and mulch on the lawn. I was so disappointed with them this year that we stopped our subscription with them next season. We have been with them for many years but this years service is extremely disappointed.

This company sprayed my neighbour s lawn three times and when I called to complain I was told that I could not prove it and that it was my fault. Asked for money back for the missed appointments and the manager was very unprofessional and lacking in the customer service area. I had been with them for about three years. Asked for a cancellation for next year.

They cancel the day off and reschedule at their convenience. Unprofessional. We Paid for ambassador program 6 visits, they provided 4 visits. I emailed then informing them of this and asking why, they replied to the email saying I had to call their 1-800 number - When I called asking why no one has come for September or October, they told me I have to call if I want those visits ( even though they are part of the program and paid for). They refused to come out and offered a 20$ credit. Paid 400$ for 6 visits, but only got 4 visits. Horrible customer service. The workers that come do a horrible job too- literally takes them 20 seconds. No detail work. They do not care about the lawn. They miss areas. It s just sloppy. They also ask people to put up 5 star reviews in exchange for 20$. Desiree manager has no customer service skills. Do NOT book this company. Spend a few extra dollars elsewhere.

Hometurf is by far the best lawn care service I ve been with over the last few years. Techs are polite, understanding, and very helpful. The customer service is great as well rather it be calling the office, talking to a tech on your property, or calls about scheduling it s always professional and helpful to me as the customer. I would recommend Hometurf for all lawn care needs!

Extremely bad experience. Promised 5 visits with their basic weed treatment and fertilizer service, but they told me that I would only be getting 4 visits because I joined too late in the year. Charged me the same amount as if receiving 5 visits. On 3 of the 4 visits, the technician stayed at my 12000 sqft lot a total of 15 minutes. I was even charged more for having such a big lot and they didnt do a good job. Complained to Hometurf customer service multiple times but only received a call back about my complaints once. I got tired of complaining so I just cancelled my services for next year. There is no reason for me to continue my business with them. Avoid this company at all costs.

I had used this company for a few years and was pleased with their service until they burned my lawn with fertilizer. When I chose not to renew, they claimed that I was under some sort of nonsense perpetual contract. They then sent me bills for services I did not order. When I asked them to show me anything that I agreed to they couldnt do that. They then sent my invoices to collections. Stay away, stay far away.
