AV landscaping was outstanding. From the moment from the first phone call and talking to Alex and he came over very promptly. I told him everything I needed done. He got it all done for the price he quoted. He got it done quickly. The next day I had a huge huge lemon tree that he had to take almost 2/3 of it down and he did a beautiful job. All the neighbors commented how much better it looks and I would recommend highly recommend Alex again. He is the tops.

I happen to find them on google and their reviews were and are stellar. They went above and beyond to make my property look amazing. No corners were cut on the project and with full transparency of the project. I received videos of the days progress which was very appreciated. I have already referred them to my neighbors.

Owner Alex came out to my place and spent an hour with me going over what I want. Not a big job and I even told him about half hour after he arrived that if he really doesnt want it please let me know but dont leave me hanging. He said he would have an estimate for me in a couple of days. Nothing came so I waited a week and followed up with him via text. He had totally forgot and then said he would have something for me next day. I am writing this a week later and guess what, no quote was ever provided. Thanks for wasting my time.

Another transformation by Alex and team! Were so happy with the backyard Alex did a few years back he was our first call for our next phase. Weve wanted to do major updates to the exterior and front of our house including removal of lots of trim, significant areas of new stucco, new paint scheme, white wash chimney, new walkway, break down planters, and sand and stain our existing horizontal fence and pergola. Alex was always responsive from quote process to progress and lastly making sure all the details were impeccable (he noticed things we didnt as well) upon completion. Alex is very knowledgeable and always available for your needs and a text or call away. We had a few changes during this project and Alex worked with us to suggest design and visual appeal ideas, identify solutions, and resolve issues. We feel like we got a new home and love the curb appeal now. What a professional company! I first contacted AV Landscaping in mid-April at the same time I contacted a couple of other companies. We had an old, out-of-style fountain in our backyard that leaked all the time, and we wanted to replace it with a more modern look. A few companies literally never returned my call and a few others, I was unimpressed with when talking with them by phone. From the moment I made contact with Alex, I was extremely impressed by his follow-through, pride in his work and sense of ownership and, most unusually apparently in this industry, his focus on customer service. In addition to my interest in the work itself, my big concern was also the timeline. We were out of town at the moment and in four weeks, we would be heading back home with our FOUR dogs. Doing any kind of landscape project efficiently with four dogs who needed to access the yard regularly would be next to impossible. So I asked if we could coordinate all of this virtually and finish the job within the four weeks before we got back in town. He accepted the challenge! He came out to our house literally the very next day, and we FaceTimed, and I explained my vision for the area and he shared his observations as well. After agreeing on the design plan, the scope of work and the price (which was not inexpensive but completely reasonable), he and his crew started work on May 3. After the layout, extensive concrete work, fountain build and plumbing, timers, plant and dripper installs, lighting installation and ugly tree removals were all complete, they finished on May 26 - just in time for our arrival home! Alex communicated extensively throughout the project and always kept me up to date on what was happening. They were very respectful of our property while we were out of town and they cleaned up meticulously. If I suggested an alternate idea that was a dumb one, he would very gracefully tell me why he recommended a different approach. And his design instinct was always right. After the project was finished and we were home, he came back with his crew several times to make a few other adjustments and tweaks to make sure everything was working perfectly and just as we liked it. I cannot say enough good things about this company this level of customer service and attention to detail seems to be more rare all the time. Thank you, Alex and crew, for transforming our backyard fountain area into something that we will be proud of for years to come!

We had a waterproofing project in Los Angeles and received multiple quotes. We had water leaking from multiple planters into the garage below. We decided to try AV Landscaping after consulting with Alex and his team about how water was getting in and what we needed to do. Overall we were very pleased with the outcome. The pricing was more than fair and the timeline to complete the project was not only on time but a few days early. We are now working with them on a separate landscaping project!

Alex and his team did a professional job troubleshooting and repairing our backyard drainage issues. Alex always kept us informed and visited the project site every day. It was great working with them from day 1 through project completion. I think they provided exceptional service, and I would definitely work with AV landscaping again.

We combed through yelp for nearly all the contractors in the OC area, made a short list of ~50, reached out to a dozen, met with half a dozen, got several estimates then finally decided to go with Alex. All things considered (portfolio, experience, cost, reviews, time-wise, etc..) he was way better than the rest. From the very beginning I had a great experience, Alex was quick to schedule a walk through so he could give an estimate and he gave the initial one very quickly. We then went back to the drawing board because we wanted to add some more features to the backyard, which actually took a couple months. With the new design, Alex didnt miss a beat and gave an updated estimate within a couple days. He was also ready to start ASAP, like tomorrow. After paying Alex the initial payment (which he very nicely offered multiple payment plants with varying discounts), I was nervous. Despite the great reviews, excellent communication thus far, and no red flags on his contractor license lookup, technically any contractor could just drag their feet and delay doing the job. Ive heard many nightmare stories like this. That was 0 percent of my experience with Alex and his crew. Right on time, they showed up and started working. After that, there was never any doubt that the crew would show up and do great work. During this time, Alex was very involved, communicating the progress of the project very often; which was removing all existing hardscape and softscape. Then, installing tiles, steppers, building 2 benches, a tree perimeter, installing a fire table, adding diverse softscape (trees, hedges, succulents, fruit trees, etc..), LED lights, wood screens, and irrigation. Quite a complex project, basically an entire redo! During the project we really worked together to come up with what was practical and aesthetic. Alex is also very experienced and has great attention to details. I couldnt believe how many parts it took to put together a bench when I saw the invoice, but we didnt have to handle any of that. He just showed us the wood samples and asked us to pick. The same goes for other details, such as adding a weed guard in our pottery, adding odor absorber for our turf, and the list goes on These are no corner cutting things a good contractor like him would just do without you even asking. Finally, the irrigation and LED lights were super easy to hook up to bluetooth and wifi. Their app was super easy to use and rated 5/5 in the app store and connected to Alexa very easily (again small details but very important nonetheless). Finally, we requested specific fruit trees, which were not easy to find... Alex ended up visiting 3 different nurseries before finally getting them. He actually could have taken the easy route, as the nursery DID have the trees we wanted in stock. But, he took the extra time to talk to the nursery owner and verify that the trees we listed would actually bear fruit well. We actually love, love the peach tree he got us as its supposed to yield 5 different peaches and some are growing already! In summary, I would highly recommend Alex and his crew. Alex is experienced, knows his stuff, really cares, and does things the right way. I wish I had friends who were doing backyard projects so I can recommend him to them.

Alex is a great person to work with. He was responsive since day 1, came here and sent us the quote in 3-4 days, we quickly realized he had knowledge and knew how to do his job. The quote was very detailed, which helped us decide what we wanted to invest or not. Another positive point is that he listened to what we want and proposed solutions based on that. Even though it was not a huge work for him, he made sure to be here and walk his crew through everything, make sure the job was done correctly. Another really good thing is that he thought about everything and they did the entire job ( instead of those contractors that pick and choose what they do). We didnt have to stress out with anything from trash, material or issues throughout the job. The price he charges is fair because he delivers it a great customer experience. We loved working with him and will hire him in the future again.

AV Landscaping handled our backyard remodel which consisted of demo, installation of new pavers, BBQ islands, water feature, plants, irrigation, artificial turf and some lighting. Alex worked with us to execute our design ideas and offered tasteful solutions to accomplish our remodel goals. Alex and team were very hard working and accommodating to our change requests. We experienced a major issue with our patio cover installation performed by a subcontractor that walked away from the job after ruining the finish of our 4k aluminum patio cover. Alex assisted in finding another patio cover contractor and worked with them to resolve the issue. We are extremely happy with our end product and recommend AV Landscaping.

We had an AMAZING experience working with AV Landscaping. Alex and his team were nothing but professional, proficient, and best of all on time with everything. We had a whole backyard rehaul due to sprinkler and drainage issues and we can t be happier with the results. We wanted in our backyard a grass area with new irrigation. Starting from scratch. Moved into in this house last year. DIY project. Love it! Need a lawn for the grandkids to enjoy and the pups to lay on. The trenches were already dug. Help us finish the project please. Thats all. Spoke with Alex and he showed up the same day. Four days later I texted wondering when we could expect a bid/quote. Sorry for the delay he says. We were just wondering. Two days later I texted, did you email the quote, often my email is spelled incorrectly, lemme check, he says. Never heard back from him! So unprofessional! If there were a zero for the ratings, Id give that. Scratching my head. Why would you sacrifice your integrity??? Such a small project. Moving on.....

Our patio was in desperate need of help. Whenever it rained, water and mud would pour off our slope and onto our patio. We also wanted the retaining wall to be moved back 4 feet because our patios seating area was too small. We requested bids for a new retaining wall. Alex with AV Landscaping came back with the most reasonable bid. They installed all new drains in addition to cementing the new footing area. We also had them redo our driveway with pavers, and it turned out beautifully. Both the work and the service were excellent. We are very happy with how everything came out. Alex did a great job on our backyard! He was great to work with, and turned our dying planters into a beautiful filled in, colorful scene. His team also fixed our broken uplighting system, cleaned it out and installed a new WiFi controller. They also fixed our broken sprinklers and replaced the box with a new WiFi timer. We are we are very happy with the way our backyard looks thanks to AV Landscaping. We started out just wanting pavers, but thanks to Alex s vision our yard looks much better than originally anticipated. AV also straightened our retaining wall, planted new greenery, and replaced our old grass with artificial turf, which looks fantastic! Finishing touches such as tree lighting and mulch around the new plants make a difference. These were Alex s suggestions which really make the yard look top notch. We ve been very happy with the work Alex and his crew have done for us, and it s our second time using his services. This time around they rebuilt our BBQ island, installed landscape lighting, and finished off some brickwork. He s very up front about costs and is very price conscious - giving suggestions according to your budget. He s available by phone any time for questions and gives you updates on the schedule. We were even out of town for a bit of it and he d send photo/video updates. The crew has always been great as well friendly, does great work, cleans up, etc. You can tell he s excited about what he does and wants what s best for you and your yard. Where is the star for Very Good, nearly Great?? We just completed a large renovation of our back yard with Alex and AV Landscaping, large in scope and budget for us. It stretched them to be creative and Alex was up for the challenge. My favorite part is the new secondary retaining wall on our slope...it was made to match the lower wall and just looks great. All of the new plants are low maintenance with beautiful lighting and tons of weed-deterrent rocks. The concrete stairs are fabulous. I think the bigger challenge was removing and replacing a deck off the master bedroom. All of the work was precise with only a couple of minor glitches by laborers that were remedied. It was a fair price for good value and the only suggestion is for his team and the homeowner to plan for a longer time to complete. AV worked every day but it was just more than anyone expected. Alex included the under deck lighting and fan gratis...big thank you. He communicates well and I would recommend him!

Alex and the AV Landscaping crew are great to deal with. They are really capable across many trades. I used them to plant all new grass, hedges, rerun piping, install all new sprinkler lines and build a new brick wall. The work they do is quality and they know their business. From choosing the correct soil amendment to trouble shooting broken drain lines they did all it all. Their work is clean and efficient. Ive used AV on 3 different properties and each time they are a pleasure to deal with. Their pricing is good and their work is excellent. Alex of AV Landscaping did a superb job of re-landscaping the entire front yard of our home in Laguna Niguel. If we could give him 10 stars, we would! Everything went smoothly, from initial meeting, through planning, cost estimation, contract preparation, interactive plant selection with us to ensure our satisfaction, and execution of the job on schedule and at a reasonable cost. Alex expertly designed what we asked for, low maintenance, succulent based planters, a new soaker hose irrigation system and new LED based lighting. Alex s team did an extremely thorough job of planter preparation and soil amendment, essential for the durability and robustness of the new plantings. After the new plants were masterfully arranged by Alex and planted, and the soaker hoses were laid out, Alex s team covered the area surrounding the plants with pebble, thoroughly disguising the soaker hoses and giving the planters a very polished and professional look. Alex also designed two areas of small boulders and rocks, well placed and beautifully lit, as eye-catching accents to the landscaping. Since Alex completed our job, we have received many compliments from our neighbors and passers by regarding the beauty of our new landscaping. Finally, Alex is a pleasure to work with, extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating to our requests and desires. Alex did an amazing job and I would recommend him. He redid the landscaping in our front and backyard, laid concrete in the backyard, and removed multiple trees from the front and side yard. He also installed a new, easy to use sprinkler system. His crew was there early every morning and Alex was there every day and kept me in the loop on their progress. Once he was done he took time to show me how to use the new system and set the appropriate schedule. We plan on getting new gutters and doing a patio cover in the future and will definitely be using AV Landscaping.

I posted a positive review before the work was truly done...my mistake. Be forewarned, after months of contacting him, he hasnt satsfactorially finished the project. Seems he built an expensive deck that is splitting wood and leaking ooze and he isnt fixing it...yikes! Drip irrigation on upper slope is improper and my 10 year old plants are dying. The workers left concrete smears on broken brick and more errors. I cannot be the only homeowner having this experience. DONT USE THIS CONTRACTOR

We were in a pinch trying to find a contractor to replace the floor and Alex promptly got to our job to quote it and give us an exact date of when he could start the project. He and his guys are skilled at what they do and are efficient on the job. Not only does he do fantastic paver and landscape work, but is really good with any and all flooring projects. We had a flooding problem with water coming in under the house that caused significant damage. A Civil Engineer assessed the problem and recommended we put in a concrete patio with a slope to drain the rain water away from the house and install roof gutters and a drain line that connects with the main storm drain. AV Landscaping went above and beyond to complete the patio before a coming rainstorm- no more flooding. The patio and drain system came out great.

Alex and his team delivered beyond expectations. Our yard needed a complete landscape overhaul. What was lurking below the surface is where Alexs team delivered most! My landscape drains had been completely overtaken by roots. My front lawn was a combination of weeds and exposed tree roots. My hardscape was being upended by a 30 year old Meloluca tree. Alexs crew cleaned it all out! Controlled and saved the Meloluca, replaced all my landscape drains, removed all the tree roots and replaced the lawn. Our front yard looks like new! We have been in our home for 30 years and wanted to upgrade the landscaping in our front and back yard. I searched Yelp for a long time and then found Alex at AV Landscaping. When I called, he responded right away and we set an an appointment for him to come take a look at my job. I liked the fact that when I first met Alex he listened to what we had in mind very closely. Once he had a good understanding of what we wanted, he said he would come up with some ideas and get me an estimate right away. We agreed that he would redo all of our planters, upgrade my sprinkler system with a timer, add all new plants with the right drip system and add some lighting to our yard. He also cemented the side of my house with a brick lining that matched my existing yardwork. His electrician also replaced all the lights on my house and the lamp posts out in the front yard. When he first came back with a quote, it was above what we had budgeted. Alex talked it through with us and made some adjustments. He also said he could start the project fairly quickly and gave me a targeted date for completion. His crew started the day we agreed upon and I found them all to be very courteous and clean. The made it a point to stay committed to the job upon completion. If I wanted minor changes done, they worked with me to make it happen. He made it a point throughout the process to communicate with us. As you can see form the pictures, everything came out very well. We are very pleased with our front yard and backyard landscaping. They completed our project at the agreed upon date which made us very happy. Once the job was completed, Alex called me back just to see if everything still looked okay. I thought that was nice of him. He came back and made a few tweaks for us and all at no additional charge. I got to know Alex better during the project and found him to be a pretty funny and down to earth guy. He has a special liking for plants and landscaping and we loved how he picked the perfect plants and trees for our yard. We finally got our backyard renovated in Lake Forest. Alex and his team did an amazing job! It took about 2 months, and we ended up being slightly under budget! They were always communicating the next steps and potential issues. They even kept coming back to water our plants themselves while the electrical issues were being worked on for a few days. They were very flexible with our plant choices, which we purchased most on our own - we have small (already producing) avocado trees now and a succulent garden! As far as what we had done - our backyard was just concrete with dead grass and dirt. They took out all the old grass, dirt, and concrete, and even helped us remove our old hot tub. Alex and his workers did a fantastic job. What initially was intended to be a consultation for a broken sprinkler line, evolved into a much larger project. I expressed to Alex my wish that one contractor would manage stucco repair/painting of the exterior of my home and shared walls, repair broken hardscape and brick pavers, clear out clogged drainage lines, remove overgrown bushes and palms, cement the side of my home, plant drought resistant and low maintenance vegetation, install new sod, repair and install new irrigation, and install premium landscape lighting. He is a young business owner who cares for and communicates well with his workers. While he delegates painting and cement work to his colleagues, he is actively involved in landscape design. I don t even know where to start. Our first contractor started our backyard project and ended up demolishing our front yard and causing extensive damages to our property unintentionally before abandoning the project. At this point I was in my last month of pregnancy and totally heartbroken about the way our home looked and felt weeks away from giving birth. Our backyard was initially turf with a side yard of a very ugly stained pavement of stones with a lot of ugly plants on the side. And this is the final product! We contacted AV Landscaping about redoing our front, back, and side yards with new pavers. We previously had a red brick walkway out front, some cracked stamped concrete in the side and back yard, and a large dirt patio out back. We were looking to change to something more cohesive throughout with new paver stones. After we contacted, Alex came out to see what we were starting with and discuss what we were looking for, and he gave us some resources to look at pavers to decide the look we wanted. He was quick to send us an estimate, broken down by task. Before we could start we had to go through HOA approval, and he provided plans and images to include for the approval. Once it was all approved, he was able to have his team come out and start within days. I expected we d have to wait a while, so I was pleasantly surprised to be able to start right away! Throughout the whole process Alex was in communication with us and answered any questions or concerns we had. His team was also very professional and efficient. It took about a month to finish the front, back, and side yards. We were out of town when they finished, and he sent someone out to make sure the grass was watered until we could get home. After the project was complete, he was still helpful / responsive and sent people out several times to help us with various issues (modifying sprinkler setup, replacing lights, etc). We were happy that we went with AV Landscaping for our project. Got finished with a complete front yard landscaping project 1 week ago, what a great experience overall with Alex from AV Landscaping. The entire process from walking the property, getting a quote and having the project done was terrific. Alex was a great communicator throughout the entire process. We had narrowed down our bids to between two final contractors and we ended up going with Alex because you could see that he shared our vision in what we were looking to achieve. There are some people that bid on the project that was willing to do whatever we threw at them as far as ideas. Alex actually took the time to ask, whats the end goal, what style or look are we trying to achieve when its all done? There were some things we had originally thought that we might want, but since he does this for a living, he actually told us that if we did what we wanted, that the look might not be cohesive. So we really liked the fact that he used his experience and knowledge to help us get to the look that we wanted. He was on schedule, on budget and always available. If not on the property while his crew was working, just a phone call away. He always got back to us quickly with any concerns that we had. There were two minor problems that came up while the project was under way and as soon as he was made aware of it, he jumped right on it and made sure that we were back on track. I would have no hesitation to hire and work with Alex and his crew again. We are actually in the process of getting quotes from him for our next house projects. We had to finally take care of our backyard hardscaping/landscaping after a big remodel plus addition that we finished in 2016. We already knew projects take longer than one imagines them to be, and waited until we were able to take care of backyard, hoping to find a right guy for the job. Were happy we found Alex and his team. I read many, many profiles and reviews, before contacting Alex. Hes indeed everybody was saying hed be-nice and easy to work with, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, reliable , taking pride in what he does, a man with integrity. He carefully listens to concerns , he makes good suggestions, he makes sure youre happy with the results, he sees things through, he stays within your budget. Hes very diligent about things done right, and his crew really tries to make it happen, and does whatever it takes. The team was very nice to work with, arrived on time, left on time, great attitude. Our project was a mid-range one. relatively modest, but in fact, a lot to take care of. We had to work on a lot-changing out old irrigation(Alexs suggestions were very good), putting new retaining wall (thank you, Alex, for talking me into it), pouring concrete base for the new tile to go in, taking care of the sloping and drainage before that, tiling itself (which required skill and patience given its a custom tile with lots of variation in it), finally, adding grass and plants-Alex went with us to a nursery where we picked stuff together based on his suggestions and our preferences Alexs team also completely redid side walks along the house that were just dirt before, worked on the front walkway and entrance a bit as well, to put new bricks in.instead of the ones that were all wobbly. .so in the end wasnt just our backyard. We recently had our front yard landscaped by AV Landcaping. We had a great experience, they were professional and Alex helped us design the perfect front yard for our home. Our goal was to have a low maintenance front yard with curb appeal, we decided on artificial grass and some drought tolerant plants. He was flexible with our minor changes throughout the project and followed up with our requests. He was very easy to get ahold of throughout our project and had a detailed plan for his crew each day. AV landscaping did an outdoor project for us that lasted about 4 months. They did both soft-scaping and hard-scaping. The quality of the work is amazing. They had multiple crews each with specialty in different area (pavers, underground drainage, softscape, tree cutting, etc). We had to make a few changes to our design along the way. I was surprised by the fact that they did not charge for the changes (this is very unusual). Their communication skill is superb: I received text updates and completion estimates from them a few times a week. This helped ease off my mind. I was also very impressed that they did not miss even ONE day of work. They came every day (except when it rained) and they were on time. When the job was completed about a month ago they texted me a few times to make sure everything is OK. Once I asked them to double check a couple of the sprinklers: they took care of it immediately free of charge! I would recommend AV in the highest possible terms.

I needed trees removed around my house, drainage installed, repairs to the patio & new cement, repair to a brick fence the trees were damaging, and general landscaping, and Alex & his team crushed it. I did a lot of research before choosing my landscaper, and was incredibly happy with my decision to go with Alex. Alex put in pavers, sitting wall, fireplace, turf and landscaping for us. He was very reasonably priced and went above and beyond what he had agreed to do. I m the kind of person who had to know all of the details and I ask a lot of questions. Alex was extremely responsive to all of my text messages and calls and was happy to answer all of my questions. Even after he finished the project, he would follow up with me to make sure that I was satisfied with the work and even after I had made my last payment, he came by a couple more times to make sure that everything was working properly. I am posting some before and after photos. The first two photos reflect what my yard looked like before Alex started any work. The rest of the photos show the completed project. I think the photos speak for themselves. Also, functionally, prior to Alex s involvement, I had grading problems where water was collecting near the house. Now, after having gone through a few rain storms, I can safely say that no water is collecting near my house and the drains are working great.

Alex and his crew did a great job. He gave us a really reasonable quote and timeline and followed through wonderfully. I was trying to get our backyard under control myself and as you can see in the photos, I needed a lot of help. He put pavers in and river rock for our dog to use to pee/poop and planters. His crew also put in irrigation and electric. He was easy to get a hold of throughout the project and even came back to raise the irrigation lines a bit higher for us. My wife Laina and I have lived in the same condo unit for 21 years and the patio area has been an issue since we purchased the unit. As the years have passed, the cracks in the concrete, the weeds growing through the cracks and the wifes complaining have grown progressively worse. With both of us working from home because of COVID-19, it finally provided us with an opportunity to renovate the patio area. Laina called several landscaping companies for quotes (at least one company wont even consider the job unless we were willing to spend $75,000.00) before settling on AV Landscaping because the concept provided by Alex was exactly what we were looking for and he was willing to provide a substantial discount for cash up front. Alex made some good suggestions about the type of paver and pet turf we should use and picked up the materials once we had made our selections. The project was broken up into two parts which started with the demolition and haul away of the cracked concrete. After the concrete was removed, the next couple of days consisted of laying a double mesh to prevent vegetation from growing back and several types of soil being used to level the patio. The different soil types were layered and were spread out across the patio. The second phase involved compacting the soils and laying the pavers and pet turf. The workers used a bubble level to make sure all the pavers were level as the were being laid onto the patio. Once all the pavers were in place, the crew lifted the pavers around the edges, dug a trench and filled the trench with a quick dry cement. They replaced the pavers they removed and waited for the cement to set. Once the cement was set, they filled in the cracks between the pavers with a special sand. The next part was measuring, laying in and nailing down the pet turf. Once the pet turf was in place, the crew planted the solar lights we had purchased into the pet turf at a reasonable distance from each other. The final part of the project was sealing the special sand into the cracks which prevents the sand from coming out of the cracks if we hose off or sweep the pavers. If too much of the sand is removed from the cracks, the pavers will come lose since only outside pavers are cemented in placed. Alex showed up several times during the course of the project to make sure things were being done to our satisfaction and was available on his cell if we had any questions regarding the project. The project was complete in the specified time frame and we couldnt be happier with the end result. I would highly recommend AV Landscaping if you are thinking about hiring someone for a landscaping project!

Alex has just finished our major project and we couldnt be happier. Our project included a large retaining wall, new fencing, new drainage, coping and pavers around our pool area and a large synthetic turf install. Just the demo was a massive undertaking but Alexs team made it look effortless. During the course of the project we made some changes and Alex was very accommodating. Our new homes rear yard had suffered from lack of water during the drought. Although we had some vague ideas, we hoped someone could help us make the decisions needed. We found Alex on Yelp, were impressed by his customers comments, and toured several yards he had done. During the process, we were so happy with the rear yards progress that we decided to re-landscape our front yard as well. Alex re-did our drainage (completely clogged with roots), and built a concrete pad and retaining wall where our trash cans can park. Another small curved retaining wall was built to frame our water fountain. We have new drip irrigation, LED lighting, nicely-sized plants, artificial turf, and decorative rock locations--all installed per our wishes. When complete, they pressure-washed all our existing concrete flatwork and seat wall to make it all look new again. When an old pipe failed, they took the extra step to repair it as a courtesy to us. Their work was completed in a professional manner, on schedule, and was competitively priced. Our sincere appreciation to Alex and his team for their great work to make our yard beautiful!

As work progressed, if there was anything we were concerned about he usually caught it before we could even let him know about it and made sure that it was done for the best end result. When there were changes we thought needed to be made, he happily made them. All he wanted was for us to get exactly what we envisioned. He has a great, hardworking crew who knew exactly what they were doing. He was willing to work with us if there were any changes we wanted to make and even suggested a few things that would give us a better looking yard when we were done. He was also reasonable with the amount he charged when we added things here and there as we went along. In the end, he took our landscape plan and made it a beautiful reality and we couldnt be any happier with the end result We now have the yard that weve always wanted and love spending time outside.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Alex and his team. I interviewed several companies for our job and Alex was the clear winner by far! The others did not even compare. He transformed our front and backyard into a beautiful paradise. Our existing landscape was old and tired and Alex and his attention to detail helped us create a fresh new yard that is beautiful. He knows what looks good and helped guide us through the whole process. He has a vast knowledge of plants which was very helpful in our decision making process of what type of plants to use and where to plant them. He revamped our entire sprinkler system and added a very user friendly app so we can adjust our sprinklers remotely (love this)! We are also very satisfied with the new lighting he installed in our front and back yards. He doesnt cut corners and is all about doing the job right. He even planted some black mondo grass around the perimeter of our yard that I had specifically asked him to plant, but I ended up not liking it and he very graciously removed it and found something else for me without hesitation. 100% Customer satisfaction is always his goal. He added several items after we had decided on the price to make everything look right and did not charge more. He completed our project several weeks ago and is still occasionally checks in with me to make sure I am still satisfied.Go with Alex - you will not be disappointed!

I am very satisfied with Alex and his teams work on my backyard. his team did excellent job on my backyard pavers and lawn installation. my backyard was in very bad shape for a while. Alex was straightforward, not trying to upsell anything, gave me good suggestions based on his experience. his quote was very reasonable and didnt try to add anything more than what we agreed during the process. i could reach him anytime including weekend via text and he always responded. I am fairly high attention to detail in terms of workmanship and he followed up with my requests willingly and pleasantly.

I was on a deadline for the Turf Removal program and he and his team got the job done in time without delays. He also recommended and installed a smart, highly efficient, watering system that I had not thought about. I have already seen my water consumption drop dramatically. Alex and his crew are fantastic. They just completed installing a new sod lawn in my back yard as well as changing our landscape lighting to LED. His crew were very hard working and friendly and arrived every morning on time until the job was done. We recently moved to Irvine to a house where the landscaping had been neglected - we needed to redo the irrigation, put in sod and plantings, add lighting, and importantly, put in new hardscape in the front yard. Alex saved my parents front yard! The HOA had been giving them warnings about updating their lawn (it was looking v dumpy), and in trying to find a landscaping company, they experienced a lot of let-downs. With an HOA deadline fast-approaching, they asked me for help, and Alexs company came up as one of the best-reviewed companies on Yelp. We called him, and he was able to schedule a consultation with us almost immediately, as well as create plans. He gave my parents a fair price, and a sketch and estimate to provide the HOA with. He had their front yard transformed within a week, and his employees were so kind. My parents new dryscape looks so good and only requires being watered once per week, and virtually no upkeep! Alex and his crew completely transformed our back and front yards within a reasonable budget and timeline. He was super easy to work with and accommodated our changing needs with no hesitation. We had a built in BBQ, fire pit with bench, cafe string lights, artificial turf, spot lights and trees planted. The fact that there was no nickel and diming was a refreshing change. He had great ideas with respect to hardscaping and landscaping, and wouldnt rest until he was happy with the end result even if we were. We would hire him again in a heartbeat for any future needs.

Alex and team did a great job removing large Palm tree and lots of old, large shrubs. They left my artificial turf in perfect condition and cleaned up the entire yard.

I interviewed several landscapers for my large backyard project, and I am SO glad I chose Alex. The first thing is, he s a great listener and he really understood the final vision that I desired for my backyard. Not only did his team of guys accomplish every aspect of my vision (and quickly!), they made it beautiful too. The second thing is, Alex SERIOUSLY worked with our budget. His flexibilty is unlike ANY other landscaper. No other landscaper was willing to come close (in estimates) to doing as much work as Alex and his guys did for the amount of money I could afford. Unlike others, Alex s estimate/invoice was thorough listing EVERYTHING he would do. I also liked that Alex was available anytime I needed to talk about the project and he always got right on it when I had questions or comments. He is a very mellow, attentive, and professional guy, with a great established business, and many polite, hard-working men for his team. Our backyard was a mess before we found Alex, now it s gorgeous and perfect for us. We needed the removal of all the large pine trees, all the old brush covering our large hillside slope, and demo of the old outdated retaining wall ...and much more. Then we needed all new groundcover planted for the entire slope, a new beautiful retaining wall to separate the slope from the flat ground, and all new grass with installation of area drains. Alex s guys cleanly removed and hauled away a huge amount of concrete. They generously left us with small cuts of firewood from the trees cut down at our request. And every day before leaving, the men would sweep up the back patio and clean up after their work. It doesn t get any better than this. Alex is a gem!

Alex and his team are superb! After 5 months of looking for a landscaper for a complete redo of our soft scape, we had the good fortune of finding Alex.
