These folks are FAST - 2 days and they installed a water management system in our yard, removed our well, built a rock retention wall, and planted new grass seed. Would definitely recommend them. With the crew is working as hard as they do, it’s understandable that communication can be touch and go.

This is hands down the best landscaping company in MN. We looked through a handful of reviews and sites until we found L&R. We called and Ron came out to discuss our needs for outdoor steps in our yard. Ron knew exactly what we had envisioned. Ron, Layla and their team went above and beyond to keep us updated on our project timeline. The crew showed up earlier than expected and got right to work. In two days, we now have the most beautifully landscaped, granite steps leading up from the street to our yard. (The crew was so polite and really cleaned up nicely after the work, including adding seed to the yard where the bobcat went and watering for us). Not only are the steps functional, they really make our yard pop. We have had neighbors and family stop to compliment the new addition. We could not be happier or more proud of the work L&R has done for us. From start to finish, we are thrilled!!! We will absolutely be back for our next Patio and landscaping wants. L&R has us for lifelong clients!!!

People that know me know I give accurate reviews and have more than a few "helpful" posts on TripAdvisor. We recently bought a beautiful home in SW Plymouth Mn - that is except for the disaster of a patio and back yard. The patio was a huge assembly of loose blue slate with sand between it that was always a mess. We had the idea for adding a water feature, a gas fire pit, and more of a solid patio surface. We went to many home and garden shows and met with a few "contractors" but none seemed to grasp what we wanted to accomplish or their bids were not complete. So I remembered L&R had done a beautiful block retaining wall for me 20+ years ago at my previous residence and I was encouraged that they were still in business. Ron not only understood that we were going for a Four Seasons feel he presented a very detailed blueprint of the complete job. We green lighted the project and they have been a class act from the start. Any little change I made was implemented almost immediately. They finished the bulk of the project just before winter but were back this spring to make adjustments and handle the very few blue tape items. They did such an outstanding job my neighbor hired them on the spot. A friend of mine, against my strong recommendation hired a different firm to build a similar project and has had nothing but problems. Ron is a very hands on project manager/owner and his crew was neat, courteous and friendly. His back office coordinator Layla is responsive and professional. You can look high and low but never find the quality and craftsmanship this firm provides.
