Plowz & Mowz - Snow Removal and Lawn Care Service in Minneapolis

I've used Plowz and Mowz for a few years for yard clean-up. This year was a disaster. They kept missing appointments and changing providers until it was too late to do the job I paid for.

I’ve used them a few times over the years and it’s hit and miss. I had used them to clean gutters and the contractor spray mud all over my home and I spent a long time cleaning it up. P&M refunded me but damage done. I used them for yard clean up in Fall 2024 and contractor arrived at dark and did a poor job followed by returning next day and not fully completing job. I added a flower bed add on and it was not done yet that portion wasn’t refunded. It’s not horrible but it’s hit and miss. Depends on their contractor.

I have used Plowz and Mowz for the past three years for lawn aeration. The first two times they were great. Reasonably priced, good service. But this fall, the provider came and did not do the core aeration that I paid for. I reported the concern to Plowz and Mowz, and they acknowledged the problem. But they only gave me a $20 credit to use on future service. The problem is that I paid $180 for the aeration service, but there was literally no aeration done. So, I paid $180 for nothing. And then got a $20 credit for future use. I explained this to them, and they said it was being elevated to a manager. That was over a week ago, and I never heard back from anyone. So, I went ahead and hired a different contractor to perform the aeration. I will not be using Plowz and Mowz again. I am leaving 2 stars based on the prior positive experiences.

This was my first time using their service and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the ease of using the app to the timely manner the service was done and all the detailed pictures they took and sent! I even had questions about leaving a tip and used the chat feature on the app and that was also so easy to connect with someone. 10/10 I would recommend them to anyone! And we will definitely be using their services again! Thank you!

I don't understand where this high level of reviews come from. I placed and order and paid. I needed to cancel. I sent an email with my order number. No answer. I called. No one picks up the phone. I chat and it takes a long time, after I sent a couple of dissatisfied chats, for someone to respond. The reviews on Angie's list are far more accurate. The customer service really needs to improve.

Have used for multiple project at my personal residence and investment properties. Outstanding customer service, easy booking, great user experience.

I submitted a request to haul away some brush on my property and within 30 minutes I had a quote within my price range and for my desired service date. When following up on an ETA for on site arrival their chat function worked great! Also, the website and app are easy to navigate.

Overall service was great. Great customer service that responded swiftly and great professional work done with the lawn mowing. I'm not sure how they got so many 1 stars but I can tell the company definitely matured, in Minnesota at least. One thing I do recommend is for Plows & Mowz to update their services where we'll be able to know the professional's ETA. I was on a time crunch with my personal life and had no idea when they were coming to mow my lawn on the day of. I had to contact customer service to reach out to them.
