Having recently purchased a pick-up truck we drove to Sodfather for garden soil. Very efficient and easy service, we purchased a yard of soil in the air conditioned office, and then the same guy mounted the front end loader and ever so gently dumped the dirt in our pick up. We bought garden soil and mushroom compost from them before and had it delivered for a reasonable fee. We like the ease of service, the convenient location, and the quality of the service and products.

Really nice, healthy sod at a fantastic price! So much better than the sad piles at the local big box store.

I bought 2 pallets of sod. About 70% of it was garbage. Ive never seen this poor of a product. Ive laid my share. The stuff I got from them was a joke. Go elsewhere.

Forty years ago Mr Hanfield landscaped my and my new brides home. As he was finishing up I caught a vision of what I wanted to begin as soon as I got out of college. I just saw him again after all these years a few days ago. Hes a great guy and thats all that really matters doesnt it when youre business? Don, the owner needs to retire. Installed wrong color curbing (blotchy light gray and instead of brown) When I was discussing the curbing problem he got angry and rude and pulled his wallet out, opened it and said All you want is money. Im done. then turned walked away ignoring me. Yes it was about the money. The money I paid for his poor quality work. In one area he changed the design from the previous curbing I had and had previously discussed with him and wanted to keep. His curbing was poor quality compared the the company that I used after his mess was removed, and also at a lower price. Also the brick paver walk he put in is crooked, uneven and has a section where the pattern did not match the rest of the walk.

Called two days in a row and spoke with a gentleman about their mushroom compost. He admitted he wasn t an expert but gave me lots of info. Super nice guy! I brought my truck and he even came and met me outside when i pulled up. They loaded my truck and trailer immediately. I purchased topsoil and mushroom compost. I ll definitely be back. -Austin

We first used the company for a delivery of fill for an area we are putting artificial turf on in our pool area. While talking with the office manager Randy, we learned about their concrete curbing installation. We learned that the cost was much less than we had thought it would be to have it done at our house. Don, the owner contacted us to set up an appointment for a free appraisal. he arrived early for the appointment and was very informative. Don is the one who does all of the curbing projects (and is one of the hardest workers Ive ever met). We had curbing installed all around our gardens, landscaping, and pool. While the installation was happening, Don invited feedback for things we wanted changed or adjusted and he made it happen. The project came out beautifully. After doing our garden planting, I went back to order river stone to fill the gardens. I stopped at the office at about 11am...Don personally made the stone delivery by 12:30p that same day. I cant say enough good things about this business and have recommended them to several neighbors who have asked about the curbing and stone. If you have need of their services, I think youll be very happy with your results.
