We live in small rural neighborhood. Our neighbors on either side let their lots go natural . My applying Grubex and weed & feed in the spring and Milorganite in the late summer with autumn weed & feed every other year (before winter) was at best like treading water. Now it is November and after 4 treatments and aeration with overseeding, we are impressed. We can t wait to see the results next year especially when the second 4 applications that are included in the 1 year program we purchased are applied and the new grass seeds further fill in and help crowd out weeds. Additionally, they have been ever available and flexible. Call me surprised and impressed!

Don t get ripped off like I did. Go somewhere else!! I wasted over a thousand dollars and got very little results. Thanks TruGreen!!

When you call to request an extra service because of weeds, you talk to a call center. I canceled mid year, most weeds Ive had in years, terrible customer service. When I called to cancel, they didnt even ask why. Terrible.

I ve had TruGreen for years and every year the service gets worse. They ve charged me for services I haven t bought. Their customer support doesn t follow through, and the results of their lawn service are average. I don t like writing bad reviews, but maybe it s the only way they ll listen.

Employee met with me before application and after it was completed to address the issues with weed control in my yard.

So far I have been very happy and satisfied with the excellent service I have received from TruGreen and the professionalism of all the service techs I have had the pleasure to work with.

After 4 years as a customer of TruGreen, I can say that I am not satisfied with the lawn that we have nor the customer service and attention to our requests. I do admit that we dont have the weeds we had before and the mosquitos have decreased but my brother has the same two results and way better looking lawn by paying a fraction of the cost for lawn care at a local hardware store. Towards the end of June, I called TruGreen to postpone my weed control treatment and to explain that after 4 years of paying for my services, I am not satisfied with the lawn that I have. I know that nobody in their Company would dare to use a picture of my lawn in their website as an example of the results they provide. I told the young man that answered the call that I am seriously contemplating the possibility of canceling my account and that I wanted someone to call and meet me in person at my home to help me make the decision to stay as a customer. To my surprise, his response was to keep the weed control appointment and wait 3 weeks and if I wasnt happy still with the results, he could have someone call me. I told him that weed control treatment wouldnt take care of all the bare areas throughout the yard and that 3 weeks would not make any difference from the 4 years I have been with their Company. On Monday, July 1st, I received a call from a staff member who handles unsatisfied customers and he told me that he would come to our home on Friday the 5th to aerated the soil and reseed the bare areas of my yard. I was happy with that agreement because I was going to be home on Friday which would had given me a chance to talk to him in person. Friday came and went and he never showed up nor he had the courtesy to call me to explain why he missed our appointment or to reschedule. Because it was Friday, I had to wait until Monday, July 8th to call TruGreen again not only to explain my frustration with him missing his appointment with me but also to very specifically request that if anyone was coming that I wanted to meet them in person. The lady who answered my call, assured me that she would make sure someone would call me to make a new appointment. At mid morning on Tuesday, July 9th, I received a call from the same staff member to let me know that he was done treating my lawn. Another example of this Company not listening to the customers. He did aerated and reseeded some of the bare spots but missed one in the backyard and he also came when I wasnt at home so I couldnt meet with him in person as I had requested. After I talked to him on the phone, I called TruGreen again to express my frustration about the Companys lack of attention to customers requests and again the person who answered assured me she would have someone call me to address my concerns with this situation. She stated that she would have someone call me by the end of Tuesday or Wednesday the latest which didnt happen either. Although I do appreciate the work that was done to potentially solve part of my concerns as long as I make time to water the lawn every day which is not possible because of my work schedule, the primary reason for my initial call was to have someone meet me in person and I am still waiting.

The company always notifies me when a tech will be out to service my lawn. They are through and efficient.

Trugreen surprised me how fast their delivery services. I Called Tuesday talk to customer representative (Jessica), which shes amazing . Answers all my questions and explaining what included in the package that I purchased. Three days after, Daniel came early morning knocking my door saying his ready to work in my yard. Since Happy Lawn sold to True Green I have seen a decline in my grass. I have a huge back yard and it takes them 20 seconds to spray; weeds, crab grass still exist and overall appearance is NOT acceptable for the amount of money you pay! $10 off your bill is not acceptable either!

I am extremely dissatisfied with the lawn service company TruGreen, as they have mistakenly applied pesticides to my lawn for the second consecutive year. While representatives Shannon and Cathy were apologetic, the other representative, Tiara, displayed a lack of professionalism and concern for the mistake. Her attitude was uncooperative and dismissive which in my book is unacceptable. I was told I would receive a call from the branch manager (Hales Corners area) - Mike (apparently). However, I did not receive a call within a timely manner. When I finally did receive a call, he couldn t provide a reasonable explanation. Therefore, I am not confident that this mistake won t be made again. I strongly advise others to avoid using TruGreens services due to their clear negligence and poor customer service. It is unacceptable for a reputable company like Trugreen to make the same mistake twice and then fail to take responsibility or offer adequate resolution

Tru Green was on point today and I learned a few things about my lawn too. Matt the Tech was well informed and took my input as well. He suggested some easy extra steps since this was our first application to spruce up the yard. High marks from me, for sure.

Terrible service. I ve watched them spray the grass in under 5 min each time they ve come out. There has been no progress or improvement with our lawn. They have come out at least 7 times and we still have weeds. They never even treat the backyard. I ve called customer service and spoke with a rude, condescending rep who couldn t tell me anything about my service; she told me to look at the service ticket; that is never left. I asked to speak to a manger and almost two weeks later, no one has reached out. Since i can t get any resolve, i will file a complaint with the BBB to get a refund for the money they ve stolen for a terrible job in all areas.

Luis did better this time, but still wasn t too concerned with anything that I had to say. I m guessing that he feels pressure to keep on schedule and talking to me was slowing him down. However, he did answer my questions. Luis could benefit from some training in customer service.

TruGreen treatments keep my lawn weed free. They give suggestions on things that I can do better and offer additional treatments. They take no for an answer, unlike my previous lawn care company.

Cody was very polite, we confirmed the application to be used and off to work he went. Once he was done he again came to my door, asking me to put my pups inside so he could spray the backyard. Funny thing is we dont have a back yard yet. After our little glitch he left us his with his findings/receipt.

I have been a long, loyal customer. Had to cancel because they would not honor my last years pre payment schedule. Almost doubled in price from the previous year.

TruGreen let themselves into my fenced in yard and applied fertilizer without my permission. I am not, and have never been a customer of theirs. The rain soaked invoice(hanging on the door knob directly next to my address numbers) confirms that my yard was the incorrect property. Thankfully it was not something more harmful that my dog or family could have unknowingly been exposed to. In addition to the unauthorized application of chemicals to my yard, their employee walked his spreader directly through and over plants in my flower bed. It is frustrating that not hiring them isn t enough to keep them off my property. Hopefully my yard and plants aren t damaged.

Absolutely terrible. Their technician treated the wrong house. My neighbor is furious. They already have a different service and they re worried that their lawn will be burnt out. In the meantime, I have weeds and when I called customer service, it got worse. No one can tell me when someone will come back out to treat my actual lawn and it s impossible to get a hold of anyone local.

Larry, thank you for hearing me and taking care of what you could to make this right.**** Well, under normal circumstances I would have said a 10/10 and given the google rating of 5, but the last tech disregarded my pool and let fertilizer go into it as he was rolling his distributor gadget. I m sure I m not the first customer with a pool. If this is a training issue, that s one thing. But I lost some confidence in TrueGreen s top level of service that I had otherwise experienced.

Nearing completion of my 2nd full season with Tru Green. I hired them and paid the premium cost in comparison to other options as I was assured they could take care of my creeping Charlie. 2 summers later I would say that the creeping Charlie isn t much different - it s as healthy as ever. My grass looks healthier, but anyone can fertilize. I finally called them back once because of their guarantee after they failed for multiple visits to apply a broadleaf weed control. Essentially, the company does not deliver on their promise to provide a complete lawn care assessment and treatment. Photos are of the creeping Charlie in the middle of my backyard - not some area near the edge of my yard that would have carryover from a neighbor or anything like that. These highly visible areas - can t miss them if you were l actually assessing a yard.

My husband and I have had this service for over 2 years now and our lawn is beautiful. Diane is a wonderful application specialist and very friendly. We receive the 6 applications along with the fall aeration. Great Job done by all!

Never did lawn analysis, they were supposed to give with first treatment, never left any service slip or information about lawn analysis...first treatment left burn spots in lawn, could not communicate with them...they were to come out again to do lawn service, cancelled, then when I asked them to come out again after 3pm, he came at 10:0am, again never left a lawn analysis or any information, and did nothing..walked around yard for 2 minutes and left... Ive had enough of this company,!!! Cancelled my service with them and I want my $$$ back.

I find this has to be a very bad lawn service to have, after lawn treatment my lawn was covered with weeds, I canceled and I used roundup

Don t waste your money. I had them come back twice for weed management after their treatment did nothing after 14 days post treatment. The lawn weeds are taking over. They must water down their weed Chems to the point that it s just watering the weeds. Now I m using a lawn expert YouTuber recommended product called TENACITY with a surfactant (sticky mix) and I AM Eradicating my own weeds. AVOID WASTING YOUR $$$ on TruGreen.

This service is a scam..or close to. Do not use them! Technicians definitely do not do what they are supposed to do. One pass with fertilizer or an other service just to show they were there. Did the same to my parents. Rude and charged my card the following season for service after I moved to a new residence. Took three calls to get them to stop.

My lady and I have used your services since last year for our weeds. Since last year , I have reached out 4 times last year , 3 times this year all because your field agents couldnt understand that a house has 4 sides minimum ! They just keep missing the south side of our house.! I explained each time I called , and once with a field rep in my yard , that you guys were missing the south side of my house . Finally this year , I received a call back from a regional manager , who forgot to leave a call back number. Finally , after plenty of due diligence on our part , I called today to cancel my account. The retention lady asked Is there anything I can do to help this situation? I said Im willing to listen , but I wont speak with another person . She responded i have canceled your account , Said Thank you and the conversation was over !!!! Your company , its management , its handling of escalations , its overall customer service is a prime example of what not to do . I will be sure to add this to Twitter next

I have been using TruGreen for several months and can honestly say that my lawn has never looked worse. Crab grass, TONS of weeds, burn spots, etc. I have tried to complain through several different channels and have gotten nowhere. I am beyond frustrated and want to cancel this terrible service and be refunded the money that I ve wasted.

The multi-service plan I have is on a schedule such that I dont have to think about it. Its reliable and my lawn looks like the Garden of Eden!!

Absolutely disgusted with my recent experience with TruGreen. I was a customer last year and used them for just a few weed abatement services last year, then told them to stop coming as Falls approached. Without contacting me, or reaching out to see if I wanted to use them this spring they sent a service tech to my home and found her on my lawn in April (and it snowed the next week). I called to make complaint and they refused to credit me, and wanted to give a discount. Then apparently they came out again. Very shady business practices to not even reach out to your clients and check if they even WANT your services. I have made so many phone calls without a resolution and they still want to charge me fees. Not to mention they are there literally for less than 10 minutes to do an entire property - for all I know theyre spraying bleach.

I don t like that you hire customer service in Trinidad and Tobago why don t you hire Americans?

Paid for a year of service, didnt notice a single difference in my lawn. Also, I called to cancel and they didnt and now ive been charged $300 that ive called about 3 times now and still have no refund. Not a very good company.

Its all in the people servicing your lawn until I got Diane it sucked and I was going to leave trugreen she came on the 5th and 6th visit and changed my mind however if I dont get her I will leave.

Killed large patches of my lawn by fertizing on a 98 degree day with 18ph wins. You can see the dead spray patterns around my yard. Spoke with 3 different representatives who said they would send someone out and fix it. Its been 2 weeks and no one shows up. 9/29/2022 Phone follow up was responsive but still no promised lawn inspection/correction from the local service manager committed for August.

We have used them for a few years now. First year our grass was a complete mess, more weeds than grass. Fast forward to now and we could not be happier with our lawn.

We had our monthly charge go from $53 to $93 in a year. Ask service person to cancel, they said would take care of it, did not. Then left message to cancel..no response. On phone for 30 minutes with them arguing why we wanted to cancel. Ridicious!! Today they contacted me and provided a credit!

I dont have to dig up crab grass any more.

We got the weed & mosquito defense treatments, reasonably priced, progress can be tracked thru the TruGreen App. Our grass looks amazing so far

I was always skeptical about receiving the TRUGREEN LAWN CARE SERVICE. It has worked super well. The person who sealed the deal was CHAD M. THE APPLICATION GUY He was cordial, knowledgeable, and super efficient. Glad to state : I am a happy TGL customer!

Prior to any application, I had purple weeds in the backyard. After one application, approximately 1/3 of the lawn was burned out and dirt was left. Hundreds of dollars spent for this??? I called and I was told a free service date was scheduled for them to fix it. Today, they came out and said their product did not do it, did no work and left a small bag of seed and told me to contact the horticulturist - Ridiculous. The note left said to mow the lawn to the proper level - How do you mow dirt??? Tru Green ruined my lawn so take responsibility for your actions and fix it! They took my money, ruined my lawn and try to blame me.

Bad coustomer service terrible

I decided to go with TruGreen this year due to last years company doing a mediocre job. My lawn has never been in worse condition. I have burnt spots, dead grass and the mosquito repellant doesnt work. They were here spraying on Thursday (8/19) and Friday night by our fire pit (literally where they sprayed) Im being devoured by mosquitos. I had 21 bites in one night. What? Also, how is that your lawn service burnt my grass if youre using all natural products? Milorganite doesnt burn. Massive brown spot, dead grass in the middle - where did that come from? I didnt have that until your team showed up. Also, your employees are lazy. One guy sits around on the back of the truck with his arms crossed while the other trots around spraying as fast as possible and knocking things over/killing plants. How is that labor intensive work? This is 1000% a rip off. I paid over 500$ for this garbage service. I want my money back and Id rather do this myself.

Im very satisfied with the service. A couple of times I was not home to let the technician into the backyard. I call trugreen and they rescheduled a free service. My lawn is healthier and weeds are almost gone. Grass is getting a dark green also. Thanks trugreen for standing behind your product.
