We had a recent afternoon weather event, and our neighbor had a tree split and pitch dangerously toward her home. She contacted Raul Rodriquez, who responded immediately, coming out and assessing the condition of the tree. He also felt the tree was now extremely unstable and needed to be taken down. His crew was out the next morning and routinely handled a potentially dangerous and destructive situation safely and efficiently. I also needed some brush and overgrowth removed, and they were able to complete both projects in the same day. I've worked with many tree and landscape services in the past professionally and must say that Rodriguez Landscaping impressed me. They were competent, efficient, and reasonably priced for services performed.
I've used this company for two projects now: building a large block patio, and trimming trees. Am happy with the work they've done. Will continue to use and recommend you give them a try.

Raul came out to give an estimate and called back to answer any questions I had. I had previously had many trees cut down. Rodriguez Landscaping removed concrete and other stones, stump grinding debris, put down 5 yards of topsoil to prepare areas for seeding, installed fertilizer, grass seed, and covered areas with hay. They did a lot of work, and charged me for what they originally estimated. I have used Rodriguez before, and will use them in the future! Thanks, Raul and your team for a great job! Now I have to water a lot and pray for rain!! Update: June 5, 2023 Grass was not growing and coming in patchy. Called Rodriguez to notify. I had watered every day from when grass was planted May 15 - June 5. July 6, 2023 Went to Rodriguez to show them all the quack grass growing. Told them I'd like work redone in September because of hot weather. Sent an email; never received a response. August 9, 2023 Went to Rodriguez and talked to Raul. He said the quack grass seed was in the soil he put down; he said it could have come from anywhere. I asked him to come back and redo work. He seemed open to that. September 11, 2023 Sent an email but got no reply. I am asked for bad quack grass to be sprayed and killed and new seed put down. I called on September 13 and left a message. September 14 they cut grass and applied a herbicide. September 30 came to reseed. I have watered and it has rained. Here is the result. Some of the photos are out of order chronologically. But you'll see in photos what area looked like before they did work to quack grass to last photos in late October when new grass seed was growing but still patchy. All the office people at Rodriguez were very nice. I also had Rodriguez come to my home. They power washed patio and put down new polymeric sand. The patio looks much better, the cracks are filled in, and sand seems to be holding.
We used Rodriguez Landscaping in the past at our old house in Milwaukee. When a timber retaining wall in our new (New Berlin) front yard needed replacement, we knew who to call. Their project manager Dave gave us a detailed proposal, and when we approved it, he got right to work dealing with the city of New Berlin, pulling the necessary permits, obtaining a survey, and getting the project approved. The work they did was absolutely beautiful. They exclusively use the Interlock system for retaining walls, professional quality blocks that lock together and are reinforced with steel rods… much better than home center materials that some contractors use. The resulting wall is perfectly straight and aligned, except for the ends which terminate in gentle, attractive curves. They leveled and compacted the earth above the wall, and reseeded the lawn, leaving us with detailed instructions on care for the new grass. As for price, they weren’t the cheapest, but certainly very competitive considering the quality of their work.
Rodriguez Landscape did an excellent job. They took our huge tree down very strategically and very professionally. They also trimmed my other tree and took time to ask me if it was trimmed to our liking. Thank you all.
Hired them to regrade, install swale, and reseed lawn, what a disaster. After only three years, we have a swamp which also caused disease in our back yard that does not drain properly to inlet. Called and owner came out to look at it and told me that he would give me a discount to pay again and have it fixed. What a joke. Had to hire a different landscaping company to come out and have the whole lawn regraded again costing me another $5000.
Dave and his crew were amazing! We love what they did to help us widen our driveway and add a wonderful edge to our landscaping. We couldn't be more pleased!

This company tore out some shrubs under a front window last spring and put down concrete creating a small patio area. By fall the concrete was starting to crumble and now this spring, one year later, it is badly deteriorating. I sent photos to Aarron to show how bad the new patio area looked and have heard nothing. They obviously used a cheap concrete mix for it to start deteriorating within a few months. Pictures dont due the deterioration justice. Very disappointing.
I cant imagine there is a better landscaping company in Milwaukee. The owner Raul personally has come out to give me estimates on several occasions (very reasonable pricing) and his crew always shows up on time and does an outstanding job. So far Ive had some trees removed and a gravel driveway installed to perfection with Rodriguez landscaping.
They did a good job with being on time and what they supposed to do.
Someone came out to look ant the job and we discussed the project and had agreed on the plan and wanted to schedule. Unfortunately, we never heard back from them, despite multiple calls (with messages left) to discuss next steps.

Raul and his company completed a rather large project in Burlington area and I couldnt be happier. They completed a large corner retaining wall and second retaining wall around my garage but first had to tear apart all the rotting railroad ties. The men working on the two walls were awesome and did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone looking for good quality work and professionalism.

They do not follow up. Calls were made to company and they did not generate a cost for how much the work will be after assessing the job.

Had Rodriguez Landscape out to take down some trees and grind multiple stumps. They did a great job even with the tricky tree close to my house. They took extra care to be sure to clean up any debris and even managed to get rid of some old stumps plaguing my yard for years. I have more work planned with them and Im eager to see the great results.

They did nice job on replacing my front walkway. They were quick, neat, affordable and Dave kept me in the loop every step of the way. Overall, Id highly recommend.
I highly, highly recommend Rodriguez Landscaping. I was having a very hard time finding a landscaper to even give me a quote, and the one I did came back over 300% higher than what Dave ended up quoting me. When I requested the quote, the response was almost immediate and I had the quote 2 days later. The job was completed two weeks later. They resodded and slightly regraded my front lawn, did some aluminum edging and removed some plants and it looks great. I couldnt be happier with the service provided. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I have used Rodriquez in the past and was always satisfied with their work. No more. I called for some mudjacking and should have been concerned when the call went straight to a robocall voicemail/generic voicemail that left me wondering if I even had the right number. I received a callback in a couple hours, and the scheduler made an appointment for Raul to meet me at the house with a one hour window on a Saturday. Long story short is that Raul was a no show, and my calls while I was waiting and after I gave up went unanswered and have still gone unanswered several days later. Use Rodriguez only if you want to be disrespected and have nothing better to do with your time than to be ignored/stood up.
My neighbor used Rodriguez to have four trees removed that had branches mostly in my yard. I never saw such a skillful and considerate crew. They caused ZERO damage and removed the hundreds of branches at once! For sure use this A1 service!
Good work, and good prices, but overall a negative experience. I hired them for a second job after the first went well, and regretted it afterwards. The second time around, one worker made crass and slanderous remarks to me about the owner of the company and the office staff, and was then rude to my wife. To their credit, when we called to complain, they were apologetic and he was removed from the job, and we were later assured that appropriate action had been taken. We were satisfied with this. After the first job, I had to call several times to request a total balance, with tax - leaving a message every time and never getting a call back. They finally got back to me when the second job was requested, citing COVID and remote workers as a reason, which I accepted. I handed a check to one of the people who was there for that second job, with the understanding from the company that this was fine. Later, after again having to request a balance with tax for the second job (only once this time), I sent in a check for that. Neither check was ever cashed and I later had to stop payment on both and issue a payment on a credit card over the phone, when they billed me for both jobs, basically accusing me of failure to pay - which is amusing, considering how hard I had to pursue the to get a balance. This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and is proof to me that the cheapest option, even if the work is good, does not make up for woeful unprofessionalism. Money is not everything, and I will have to think long and hard about using them again for my next project. It might not be worth the hassle...

More professional than the other dozen of tree guys Ive had over. Raul had forethought of our next project after trees were removed and his crew went above and beyond to clear stumps left by other tree guys. Price was very reasonable, and no vehicles had to travel on our lawn. ( A couple other companies asked us to move our basketball hoop....)
Great job, Dave handles landscaping. His guys worked hard and did everything fast. They were also fair on the cost of the job.

These guys are the best. Theyve done several projects at my home and they almost always do great work. Very informative and helpful. The one time I had an issue with them (they banged up some raised beds) their response was apologetic and helpful. Really, great service.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Integrity is important in landscaping but this business has none. When calling to discuss issues with past work they play stupid and pretend they dont have your contract. When you send it to them they dont respond. Paid for disposal of black clay that I had in pile and to install a new backyard with sod on 3 inches of topsoil. Also for specific depth for gardens. Nothing done to spec. Black clay/1 in topsoil around on top of existing sod and sodded on top. All found a year later when sod didnt come back right. Had a different company take entire yard out and replaced done right this time. Do not trust this company as the owner did much of the work himself and pretends he doesnt remember anything.
Always excellent work. I have had them out to my home several times over the past few years. Dave is very prompt when giving estimates and has great ideas.
Destroyed our compost bin and laughed about it. We didnt even call them, landlord did. Pretty unprofessional.

Dave and his crew did a fabulous job. Plants were removed, a tree was trimmed, weeds were sprayed and killed, about 30 plants, bushes and one tree was planted, entire garden area was mulched, grass seeds (3 different types) and soil was added where necessary, etc. Cant say enough about how nice my landscaping looked for what I thought was a very fair price. Would highly recommend Dave and Rodriguez Landscape Company.
