STAY AWAY!!! Worst service experience in any industry I have ever witnessed. You can never get a straight answer, they breach their own service contracts they have you sign for even a simple service, bill you for any amount without explanation, and then ignore you when you question it. Considering the numerous number of landscaping services providers there are in the area, take my advice and stay away for this business.

On 06/25 I sent a message to Lawns Unlimited How sooner can your technician do the job? and I received an answer in 10 minutes ASAP!!. Then I responded immediately by sending all the information requested. I also asked about the prices. I received the answer to my last email on 07/03!!! Fortunately, they are not the only option. Another company did an excellent job at the desired time and at a very reasonable cost.

We have lived in Rehoboth permanently for 18 years. We went through at least a dozen lawn care companies. By far lawns unlimited has been the best experience we ever had. We get compliments on our lawn frequently. Our first contact with the company was with joe bean. He was extremely professional and responsive. Shout out to jack who does the mowing. His work is impeccable. The whole organization is well run. From front office to billing. They answer the phone. No endless voice messages asking to select this or that choice. Either someone answered or they call back timely. Looking forward to a long future with them.

Service was as expected. We have been with Lawns sence 2004 with lawn treatments and irrigation. Several years back we had Lawns install our irrigation well and have been pleaced with the system.

We recently signed a contract with Lawns Unlimited and we are very pleased. Joe Bean met with us to discuss the turf treatment program. He was excellent, a real pleasure and explained the program. Tim.applied our first treatment yesterday. Tim was.very professional and a real gentleman. Tim went above and beyond by checking with us prior to beginning the application. We were extremely pleased since we have a puppy. Tim explained what the treatment included and took the time to suggest that we keep our puppy off the turf for the suggested time. We received a write up from Lawns Unlimited within 24 hours of what the application included. We were pleasantly surprised that flea and tick control was also included. We are a very happy customer!!

Lawns unlimited has been a life saver for our lawn. When we ve needed them, they ve come almost immediately. They re not inexpensive, but they are worth it!

VERY Poor customer service.

It is to have Lawns Unlimited in our lives. They remind you when the spring when service needs to be preformed, and then schedule in the fall when the irrigation gets turned off. The technicians are professional and inform you immediately if there is a problem.

We have enjoyed our relationship we Lawns Unlimiited from our first year in our home. Lawns Unlimited has sunk our well, provided irrigation care and upkeep, and lawn care. We are very pleased.

Wish I could give them a higher score as I never had an issue with the services provided. However, it looks like they will no longer do add-on services such as lawn aerating unless you also subscribe to their basic lawn care package. Ive had them do both in the past but no longer wanted all the chemicals in my yard with small children and a new puppy. When trying to schedule just the core aeration this year, the woman on the phone told me I had to resubscribe to the lawn care package in order to access that service. No mention of this requirement on the website either. Sad that they dont provide the service individually, seems like a missed opportunity to create/sustain relationships with customers. I may have resumed the lawn care package at a later date but doubtful now.

They no showed two appointments

Lawns Unlimited is an amazing lawn care company. In a couple of years they took my dirt yard to a lush green lawn. I couldnt be happier with what they did, including installing an irrigation system. Great folks and I highly recommend them.

We have used Lawns Unlimited for over 25 years. Unfortunately our house was demolished by a fire. We couldn t commit to our usual servicing. They have been very accomodating to help us out with landscaping and lawn mowing even though their schedule was on overload. If you are looking for a company that appreciates your business, this is it!!! Their work is fantastic and consistent. I just can t say enough praise!!!!

Lawns Unlimited has serviced our DE home for 5 years and we were very pleased with their service and customer service. We moved and started with a lawn that was not in very good shape. We had some issues with the initial start but Alex stepped in to rectify the treatment plan and I can say we are very pleased with the solution and Lawns Unlimited going above and beyond to keep our lawn beautifully and their customers happy!

The lawn service and shrub service has exceeded our expectations at our Sussex County Delaware property. Very thorough and professional, did a terrific job on core aeration and seeding, including adding top soil where needed. The techs are knowledgable, especially Alex Maddox who did shrub treatments. He was on top of the specific soil type issues there, and tactics to properly irrigate. Super quality, Lawns Unlimited is highly recommended.

After having irrigation installed January 2023, we hired Lawns Unlimited LTD and took advantage of their prepay discount paying $1,390.01 for their Deluxe Organic Plus Lawn Care Program. Our lawn has never looked better. However, after the Fall Core Aeration, we received an additional bill for Broadcast Seeding ($310) which LU completed without our approval. When contacted, LU explained that the seed and leaf grow cannot be prepaid because they dont know how much will be needed until they do the job. Kris emailed a 2022 lawn care proposal indicating that Broadcast Seeding will be charged per lb used and per bag of leaf grow used (Market Price). We have never seen this proposal previously. As we were present when the Broadcast Seeding was completed, the specialist, Alex Maddex, should have informed us of the additional cost before proceeding with the job.

Great service. Mauricio was professional and answered all my questions and concerns.

Ed installed the well on a warm day back in January. He was very professional and eager to explain all the aspects of the system. A tech came a week later to hook up the irrigation system to the well. He was extremely polite and courteous and tested the system and then winterized it. Yesterday a tech (I believe his name to be Rydell) started the system for the season, programmed it and was very patient to explain the entire programming process to me. I couldnt be more pleased with everyone that I have dealt with from Lawns Unlimited! Great job!

So far so good. They installed an irrigation well and we look forward to lower water bills this summer.

We have sent countless photos and written several emails to the owner, Ed, and his staff, but to no avail. We have spend a small fortune with this company and I have texts from the owner saying, yes we missed some areas and we ll come back, but he never follows up. We have parted ways. Do not fall for their guarantees, empty promises, warranties or anything else as they re empty.

Many thanks as LU responded within hours of my call and fixed a broken irrigation pipe causing back yard flooding that was caused by a contractor who built our screened in porch two years ago. Orlando and Omar were quick, professional and pleasant to deal with and also Charity who fit us into their schedule same day due to our emergency. Highly recommend Lawns Unlimited thanks again.

Hello Charity and Ed: I just wanted to send a thanks to Charity. She sent an email today about armyworms. I had heard that they were active, but in over 40 year of working on turf I had seen them only once. I saw an area in the back of my lawn that just collapsed overnight. I thought it was damaged from mowing the turf under drought stress. I found them, called Lawns Unlimited and within a few hours Charity arrived. She did an amazing job-she covered all the corners. I just want to say I really appreciate the fast service. I will follow-up at some point. Im attaching a few photos. This is BIG -maybe a once in a lifetime phenomenon. Thanks, Peter D. Milton Travis was friendly, courteous and patient. He did a methodical job in applying the products, and afterwards he carefully outlined what was applied and the reason for each product applied. I found Travis to be professional and trustworthy.

My initial experience with Lawns Unlimited was great. Ed is very professional and did a top notch job installing my well. Since then, the service has been sub-standard. First, I had a low pressure issue that needed checking out. A service ticket was entered but I have no idea if and when it was addressed. Now, the Winterization has been an issue. I received an auto call indicating that my system was to be winterized. The next day the sprinkler activated. I called and was told the tech didn t get to so I was put back on the rotation . Two weeks passed and I got a partial message recorded message from LU. I called to followup and was told they were coming out that day to winterized. No surprise, two days latter and the sprinkler is running. Too bad I imagine this isn t the standard Ed would like to set having spent time speaking with him. Really need to improve back office communication and scheduling, regardless what the cause for these delays as a customer I shouldn t have to chase for answers!

My lawn has never looked better. They always alerted me as to when they were coming. The technicians were always attentive to my questions, and were thorough with the applications or treatments. Im ready to sign up for next year.

I have used Lawns Unlimited for irrigation turn on/off for 9 years. This is the first time I used them for mulching/bed clean up/trimming and removal of shrubs. Very satisfied with all services - and the two young men doing the work were courteous and professional. Will ask for them in the future.

They maintain our irrigation system which they also installed and have upgraded it for us following a patio install. Very satisfied with the work and semi annual winterizing and spring startup! The tech did a fine job repairing three leaks in the soaker hose (from a bit too aggressive soil turning last fall on our part).

Yesterday the nut sedge application was applied. I was not home at the time but was notified via the invoice on the front door. My question is how the downpour we had between 2 and 2:30 PM affected the application? did it wash off? Im satisfied with the various work done by Lawns Unlimited and would recommend them to others.

Hugo has been with us since we signed with Lawns Unlimited. He is polite and friendly and his customer service is excellent. If he has been here for service when our lawn is being mowed or the irrigation company was here he discusses the plan for my lawn care. They respect his opinion and comments or suggestions.

Techs do a great job and are very efficient

I really appreciate this pre-emergence shrub bed treatment. Ive been using your lawn service for several years but I was doing all the bed weeding and weed control myself. Last year I started your pre-emergence bed treatment and I have been very happy with the results. There are so many grasses that pop up throughout my many flower beds and it was becoming too too much to bear. The four treatments have made a huge difference.

Horrible customer service. Among other work, two bushes were supposed to be trimmed at the front of the house but only one was done see the pictures and decide for yourself whether they both looked trimmed. Upon calling, they sent out someone to check who looked at them both and concluded somehow that yes they were both trimmed and looked acceptable in their opinion. What a shame, some cheap customer service labor by cutting the 2nd shrub would have saved this yearly customer.

Lovely wildlife

These people clearly do not have their act together. Five phone calls over 3 weeks, and they still could not get me an estimate for lawn care. They say one thing, but do something different. The right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing. They clearly are too busy with existing customers I assume, to take on any new business. Dont bother with Lawns Unlimited, move on.

Lawns Unlimited can not be trusted to honor their signed contracts or the application rates or products they SAY has been applied to your yard. I had a signed contract with the owners signature to repair some sink holes in my yard. I signed the contract and sent a check for one half of the contract price in March 2017. When they came to do the job several months later the workers said the job was too big for the contract price and the owner said he would not honor his signed contract. I did not get my deposit back until late September, only after calling several times! This week (9/18/18) Lawns Unlimited applied their early fall application. On their bill they indicated they had applied 149.9 lbs Polyon and a 31.5 fluid oz of Battleship 111. I could find no evidence of the Polyon on my yard since it is a coated pellet. I called Lawns Unlimited a couple of times to discuss the application. When the agronomist returned my call he indicated they had changed their products and had not applied the Polyon or the amount of Battleship indicated on the bill. How can anyone trust anything they do or say????

Looking forward to another beautiful thick and lush lawn again this year. Voted best looking lawn in my development 4 years in a row, thanks to the great organic products used by Lawns Unlimited. Thanks Ed, Travis and your great Team.
