Banfield Lawn has done landscaping in our yard and our son s yard next door as well as replacing our Centipede grass with zoysia grass. They replaced our concrete driveway that 24x 48 feet. Mark has been excellent to work with and has been patient with me and all my questions about the sprinkler system.

Banfields recently trimmed our hedge in front that was really overgrown, trimmed our Palm and magnolia tree along with some smaller trees. They did a great job and our yard looks so much better.

I loved working with Mark and his crew. It was a first class experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend Banfield.

They pulled bushes with bobcat and broke numerous water lines some was for the whole subdivision. Cost us $1100 dollars to repair they said they had insurance but wouldn t do anything to help pay. Also didn t show up when scheduled to lay sod and didn t return call about finishing the job

Mark and his crew were very punctual and efficient. They prepared well and cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend them for landscaping and sod installation. Job well done!

Our backyard was severely scared after we had a deck and pool removed. An experienced Banfield representative was thorough in analyzing the site, recommending the right sod grass and providing an estimate. Work was scheduled but it was not problem when we had to delay as we discovered damaging voids had developed under a nearby patio which needed priority repair first. When the patio was repaired two weeks later, we were able to reschedule the fill and sod work. Banfield got us back on track quickly. A very experienced team arrived as scheduled and worked rapidly and efficiently. The job site manager was exceptional, and her team worked hard and in unison to complete the job. They even cautiously stopped work for a day when the fill dirt needed time to settle before sodding. Overall it was an excellent experience choosing Banfield. It has only been one week since job completion and the sod is starting to turn green already. Our yard is starting to look good again, thanks to every member of the Banfield team. Everyone was good at his or her job.

Banfield s cleaned, glazed, and artistically repaired the stamped concrete around our pool. The gentlemen were polite, worked hard, and were committed to making sure we were pleased with their work. We were more than pleased and hope to do business with this fine company again.

Kind of a nightmare of a company. They did our rental and took forever on committing to the timeline of resodding that they gave us. They said due to the rain but we live in Florida. I feel like rain should have been included in the timeline reference. A month or two longer is quite the difference especially when you re paying $7k for the service. They finally did it and we agreed to have them do treatments on it afterwards to keep it fresh. They did but never sent a receipt after me continuously asking for a copy of them. Every time they did a service, I already knew they weren t going to send a receipt and it was always a back and forth. I was fine with email or text and they always chose to do mail and sometimes I never received it and would have to ask again. They said they emailed but we never received them on two different email addresses. Weirdly their marketing email always worked so I don t understand? The inconvenience of working with them wasn t worth the service. If I could go back, I would have definitely chose a different company that has better systems/technology to work with their clients.

Banfield s has serviced my lawn for the past several years. It was previously a haven for weeds, now it is a heathy lawn. Recently they planted a maple in the front! I look forward to seeing it this summer in full leaf! I recommend Banfield for lawn needs.

In two hours, they removed entire Centipede lawn and garden. Installed new garden and new zoysa (spelling), lawn, and cleaned up nicely. The crew worked like a well oiled machine, very professional. I highly recommend Bansfield for your landscaping needs.

I ordered a purple crepe myrtle from Banfield- it was brought to my house and planted today, actually weeks before I expected it. The 2 employees who came to plant the tree were prompt, polite & very efficient. I am so pleased with this purchase!!

From what I can tell from the reviews, folks either love or hate the service theyve received, so I decided to give this very close, local company a chance. Ive got this team providing lawn care treatments and doing some landscaping. As theyve just started the treatments, I cant fairly review until I see results one way or another. What I can say is that the team has been very responsive and polite with all my billing and treatment questions. I also had them do a textured path in my backyard with some planters and it looks great (theres still some clean up to complete.) Were also scheduled to do some sod work as well (can you tell its new construction?) in the next couple months, so Ill reserve my 5-star rating until then. Ill update!

When looking for a landscaping company to complete our backyard project there were a lot of choice in the area, but Banfields set them selves apart from the competition there design was perfect for creating our outdoor oasis, they really made our choice an easy one. We also use there Lawn care services which i also recommend. Thank you to all the folks at Banfields for making our backyard an AWESOME one!!

Banfields is a fantastic lawncare company, I use their seasonal application program and my centipede lawn is really vibrant compared to my neighbors. They stop me all the time and ask how I keep my yard so green and full, and I tell them its 100% Banfields, all I do is water and cut. Highly recommend!

What a great company! This lawn care company responds to all my questions and calls I have done. They give me a discount for paying in full. They know how to take care of their customers and lawn!

The Banfield s team is very professional and get the job done. Proficient and meticulous in the quality they provide. My entire yard was scraped with new dirt brought in along with all new zoysia sod. They built my landscape wall in the front of my home and it s the showcase piece along with the steel borders around trees and on both sides of my home encasing my azaleas and other plants. I have had many compliments from neighbors and friends.

Terrible customer service. As a Business owner myself I would never treat a customer this way. After being 2 months late installing sod, the install crew last week turned off my sprinkler system and did not turn it back on ( video proof ) and the Leader of the crew told the owner she didnt touch it. I was out of town and they knew this, so after 5 days the sod died. The Owner Kelly no showed me today and the lady at the office did not call me back after I called to check on him. Use another company and save your time and frustrations, they have caused and wasted plenty of mine.. 8/30/23 update Mark has been very nice at trying to fix our problem. As of today the new..replaced sod has been installed and he left abit extra so that I can fill in some spots that were not included in the original sod job. I updated the review stars to a 4 because of Marks efforts to make this right. I will check back in a month or so for another update.

Update: Went from a 1 star to a 4 star. I emptied the pool and they came back out and leveled what needed to be leveled. Missing 1 star because they had to come back. They are going to cover the water I had to drain. One of the guys even suggested I switch to salt water for the pool, good idea......I hired Banfields to level my yard, and put in a sand area for me to put up a pool and also a level area for me to put up an outdoor storage shed. They showed up a few days earlier than I expected them to without anyone calling me to say they would be here.They came and filled some holes, put down sod and put sand in the yard where I needed it. Is the sand part level, absolutely not. I put up the pool and started to fill it. One side of the pool got 3 inches of water before the water made it to the other side. Also, the portion for my shed, not level, I have to put more work into that to get it level. I paid $1,500 for it and did not get what I needed. Also, the grass around where they put the pallet of sod, trashed from the vehicles they used.

When Mark came out to give us an estimate, he was very thorough and pleasant. Answered questions and explained their whole process. Although their office could do a better job of communicating, especially regarding when they were coming, when the crew arrived they did a great job both in preparing everything thoroughly and in laying the sod. Mark also helped me set up a system to be sure it got watered properly. The lawn looks great .

My wife and I recently used Banfields Landscaping for a large job on the back side of our property to rebuild an area that had suffered a lot of erosion mainly because of the amount of grade and surplus of rainfall last year but also because of the type of grass present there. They showed up on time on day one and each subsequent day until the job was finished. The crew who worked on our property were both friendly and professional and did all they could to meet our expectations. We were very pleased with the results of their hard work and the yard looks great ! Everyone weve shared it with has been impressed with the transformation. You should absolutely get an estimate from Banfields if you need yard work as another resource to consider. We will certainly call them again in the future for other needs that we may have. This company made a concrete extension on my driveway and did a wonderful job. I was concerned the concrete trucks might tear up my existing driveway to do it. However, Banfield made sure that did not happen. Quality work and very customer oriented. When you want it done right, call them.

One star because I have NO patience for unprofessional behavior. I had an appointment at 8:30 am and they didnt show up. I called the business at 8:37 to ask where they were. I was told that they wouldnt be there because it is raining and we are expecting lots of rain this day. I get that. How about a phone call to let me know? I had to call them. This is unprofessional and will not do business with anyone that has no regard for a potential clients time. I took the morning off of work so that I would be home for this appointment. Had they called me, I could have changed my schedule again. Thanks for NOTHING Banfield. You only get one chance . I will spend my money with someone who respects my time.

I have been with Banfield for about a year. My lawn has never looked this good in the 24 years I have lived here. The service has been consistently outstanding. Chris has been wonderful in answering any questions I have when he treats my lawn. He is pleasant, professional and knowledgeable.

Fantastic landscaping job from Banfield s! Over 7k sf of zoysia, jumbo rocks, dirt and soil. Why did we use Banfield s? The communication was easy and thorough. It wasn t just about throwing sod down, it was about ensuring we had the proper foundation of dirt/soil to place sod on. Not to mention the extremely horrible condition our backyard and front yard was in from erosion due to not having any grass for months. We had rivers and zero grading after all the rain. Also,we didn t have to remove any of my fence for their equipment to get into the backyard. That was also a plus! Thank you Mark, Landon and your team!

Contracted Banfield to replace my front yard centipede with Saint Augustine sod. Employees were very courteous and professional during the installation. They cut out all the old sod applied new soil and laid in the new sod which looks great Cleaned up and removed all waste and the entire installation looks very good and professional. Thanks Banfield.

Outstanding lawn service company very pleasant to work with and reasonable rates

They started by saying they would kill the grass and weeds. After two applications, I had weeds growing that I had never seen. I sent pictures to them and they said they could explain. Some of the sod looks like it came from left over jobs 3 months ago. So far I have not been satisfied with anything they have said they were providing. This includes a simple agreement to cover the flower beds with pine straw. Part of the flower bed wasn t covered. You are welcome to come by 9345 Bell Ridge Drive. Take I-10 west to exit 5, turn left and go 1 mile to Bell Ridge subdivision on the left... check the 3rd house on the right. It s the one with grass that looks like MONKEY GRASS. The only thing that was on time was the bill.

Do not use them for concrete. They could not provide me a price breakdown for the job besides the total cost. They subcontract the work out. They estimated 10 yards, yet I measured 9.1. They ordered 12 and miraculously there was none left over. My driveway cracked after three months even with wetting it as they recommended. They did not use any gravel or anything else under the concrete.

I have used Banfields for over 2 years now. I have had an issue or 2, but they have taken care of every issue that has come up.

Someone from my subdivision posted in our fb group about banfields and showed that employees and owners were leaving false reviews to raise their rating. I had an awful experience with this company. I wouldnt have even left this review if I hadnt noticed them leaving themselves fake reviews. Read the other reviews of this company and you will notice a trend. They ruin lawns, blame it on clients, the owner will avoid your calls, and once you finally speak to him, he is nothing but rude and curses at you. Look how many people have had similar issues. Dont use this company... ever. If they were a good company they wouldnt need to leave fake reviews. I would never rehire them to take care of my grass ever again.

Hired them two years ago to maintain my 3yr old lawn, which looked great at the time. Since my sod has deteriorated drastically and they make multiple excuses of how this happens. My neighbors lawns still look great and they hired no one. Do your research before calling these guys unless you want to have to resod again like me. **Edit**Since this review Mr. Banfield decided to text me and make threats.

As evidenced by the before and after photos below, Banfields created a lovely backyard environment from a weedy sandpit starting from the design through the execution and finishing touches. They worked with us to find the kind of plants that would be maintenance free, colorful, attractive to birds and have growth patterns that would harmonize and compliment each other. They built a hardscape walkway and grilling platform as well as a functional and decorative firepit that essentially serves as an outdoor patio and they surrounded the remaining space with lush grass. When we had questions, they responded quickly and even came out to survey the work in person a year later. We are very happy with our landscaping and the work done by Banfields!

We have been EXTREMELY SATISFIED customers for almost TEN YEARS!!! They have maintained our lawn perfectly Year in and year out. After our centipede grass reached its life expectancy, we had the replace it with wonderful Zoysia. For the past five years, we have the best lawn in our neighborhood! Our technician, Chris, ensures that I know what s being done and reminds me that if I ever have any issues to give the a call. NEVER had any issues that weren t taken care of right away. I highly recommend them, unequivocally.

Showed up unannounced or invite. Just walked into my backyard, even after explanation at original sale of why this was important not be done (previous unrelated contractor allowed one of our dogs to get out). Called to cancel contract when nothing had been provided by the company and grass would not even be available for over two weeks. Refused to cancel my contract or refund deposit.

I have been with Banfield lawn care for several years now and they have done an excellent job of taking care of my lawn. When there was questions about the lawn I was able to get answers that I could understand, which is hard to do for me. I had them install new grass for the front yard and did it quickly and very professionally.

Banfields has taken care of our lawn (fertilization, weed treatments, core aeration, etc.) for about many years. They have done a great job eliminating weeds and providing ongoing services to keep our lawn looking as nice as possible. They are also friendly and easy to work with.

They installed new Zoysia sod in back yard a month ago. Ive been watering according to their instruction. Already have dollar weeds and some other kind of grass showing up in the sod.

I called to get an estimate on my yard and a guy came out on 5/2/2019 to measure my yard. I was told it would take a week to get a written estimate. I called about 2 weeks later and was told the person who came to my house was going to call me back, never received the call. Now it is 6/12/219 and I still have no estimate.

We hired them to fix our flower bed from the harsh winter, everything that was discussed was executed.

Our entire yard was in dire need of an update. All of our existing shrubs were being overtaken by weeds and all were completely overgrown. Banfield s came up with a succinct landscape plan that they brought to fruition within 2 weeks once the project started. Once the project was agreed upon, we as homeowners, sat back and watched the transformation. Every aspect of the project, from spraying weeds, to grinding stumps, was handled by them. Our yard look wonderful now! Dwarf plants and small shrubs replaced our overgrown jungle. Banfield s was prompt and responsive to our wants. They were very thorough. The crew we had on our project were personable, friendly and professional. We highly recommend them for your landscape needs.

I grew up in the middle of no where in a tiny little country place in Kentucky. as a kid my grandparents worked hard to teach me morality and to be respectful. As a young lady this was important. Through the years one thing that my grandfather tought me was that a man wasnt anything if he wasnt a man of his word.. and this is Mr Banfield... I never imagined I could move so far from home and find such wonderful people. Mr Banfield is considerate, with sincere enthusiasm and integrity for his employees. he has more stamina, charisma and courage of conviction Then most people, he works extremely hard and has great passion for the work he does. Mrs Banfield is a breath of fresh air on beautiful spring morning. She has an elegant grace about her that when she walks its like her feet dont touch the floor.. She has more style and Charm that could make Audrey Hepburn envious. Her delightful personality is almost addictive. The mere thought of her makes me smile. I absolutely adore her. Please make note that These wonderful qualities are going into your lawns and landscaping everytime you decide to work with these amazing people.. People like the Banfield family are sadly going extinct. Im so happy that I know them and that I proudly call them my beloved friends.

Very professional service we have a monthly service and just had part of our yard sodded. Mike does our monthly and Chris and crew prepared and installed sod. We are very pleased with all services.

I have been using Banfields for a while and could not be happier with my service. Im so happy and confident with them that Im getting them to sod my yard with zoysia. The current centipede in my lawn was low quality from the builder. Mark Beets and everyone else I have talked to at Banfields are very polite and they know their stuff when it comes to anything to do with landscaping. I have read some horror stories about other lawncare services and I could add some of my own, but my experiences with Banfields have been great. I would recommend these guys to anyone who wants a great looking lawn and willing to follow their instructions about watering and mowing.

Banfields is one of the worst companies we have ever experienced doing business with. In order to write a review you have to put at least one star or it wont let you post a review. They have been all talk and dont own up to their contracts for either lawn care or sod work. Due their shoddy, irresponsible work our lawn, which was three days old, now has different pest diseases and dead sod. We only had the sod three days before it started TO DIE. Its a long story...go to Yelp and BBB to see their horrible reviews and our review explaining everything. Dont throw your money out by using them. Banfields ruined my lawn and always blamed it on me. Their own employees are the ones leaving the good reviews. Michael Mitchem serviced my lawn. Mark Beets sold me the service and lied and made promises that were never kept. Katelyn, I believe, is the receptionist that I used to speak with when I called the office. Even Miss Banfield is leaving reviews. There are reasons this company has so many awful reviews except for the ones that were left by their employees. Dont let Banfields ruin your lawn like they have many others. Learn from all the REAL negative reviews on here, and not the fake reviews left by the companys own employees.

07/2019-After encountering some plumbing issues, which required digging in my beautiful lawn. I contacted Banfield to return for an estimate, on a delivery of more sod to repair the areas. Mark surveyed the damage, and with honesty told me he would sell me more sod, but it isnt necessary. He then assisted me with pouring some top soil in those areas, and recommended a sprinkler head in one area that was not getting adequate water. And now look- A Beautiful lawn of E. Zoysia again! Thanks Mark for honesty & trustworthiness! What a beautiful lawn of E. Zoysia I have! Contracted Banfield for my front lawn sod job. Mark the salesman was very nice and very knowledgeable. 4 stars given because the edging that was included in the contract was never delivered nor installed. Spoke with Chad (who was very pleasant), planned to get it delivered out, but after 4 weeks I was tired of waiting.

Very upset by Banfield, we contacted them to do our back lawn and they came out and were very nice. That was on 4/6/2017. My wife and I both expressed to them that we needed it done by 5/20/2017 since we had company coming. and the sales guy Mark he didnt think that would be problem so we signed with them. They also required a large down payment which we gave them. It is now 5/24/2017 and they have not come out yet. I called Banfield to cancel and tell them how upset I was and they are going to charge me 30% cancellation fee. I called them over 2 weeks ago and they never called me back to even give me a status. Very poor communication and they did not honor our verbal agreement, and I am out a ton of money. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, and dont give anybody a down payment, and dont sign any contract.

I started lawn treatments with Banfields at the end of 2016. I cancelled service mid-year 2017 as my lawn DETERIORATED DRASTICALLY. The company had a full year to put down pre-emergents, and spot treat as needed for weeds, yet my lawn was COVERED in weeds by mid-summer 2017. After multiple phone calls went ignored, I finally had a tech come out to do a courtesy call and spot spray for weeds. After he sprayed he handed me a bill. I explained this was supposed to be a courtesy visit as the products they are using are not working... His reply, Call the office. I was very realistic about my expectations with Banfields and did not expect my lawn took look at all like a golf course. However, I expected to at least see an improving yard with fewer weeds. This company not only failed miserably at improving my yard, they actually made it look considerably WORSE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Two thumbs down Banfields.

First Im not a current customer my neighbor is, however whatever products and services they are providing have also been applied to areas of my yard where they turn around their equipment. My yard is on the left on right is the damage areas that bleed over from my neighbors yard. I called Banfield today to express my concern and was asked to send pictures to verify, however I was hung up on before any type of email address was given and had to call back. No expression of regret or concern about the apparent mis-applications no offer to come out and review the area just a mentioning that the technician would be told. My neighbor has had multiple years of their lawn health going up and down while using these caretakers. It appears that intent to put down billable product outweighs the actual concern and health of the lawn. During this extremely wet season my provider has drastically limited product keeping my yard healthy while it appears to be just the opposite with Banfield. The fact that I was hung up on during a call to express my concerns heavily weighed into my overall impression of this company and desire to insure their practices area known.

Poor communication and follow-up. Hired them for a simple lawn service, and during the service a sprinkler was ripped out of the lawn. Mark (manager?) said he would replace the missing sprinkler but it s been over 2 months and several calls to the company with no resolution.

This is not a landscaping service. I used them for years and they killed my grass. Also I begged them to replace parts of it but I had to pay Over $600 for installations. I can say more but after receiving a bill today for $102.00 because I am breaking the contract. That contract goes both ways! I should bill them. I hope you can see the pictures of my dead grass!

I will send before and after photos, stop trying to give yourself 5 stars, you are not five stars. all your intention was in doing in the first place was to re-sod. Your rate on the lawns are terrible, that is why I canceled, My lawn kept looking worse after your applications, funny, my neighbors houses dont look asw bad as mine does. They have no landscaping service, true rippoff. I will make sure no one in my neighborhood gets treetment from you. will be sending pics out soon. Before and after. and your ratings on my lawn saying that they are an 8, when my lawn was going to hell.About ground pearls, maybe you guys planted them. Neighbors dont have them. doesnt make any sense that your company didnt test for them before treatment. I feel obligated to sue, yet I am not going 2. Your company did a soil test and put application on my ground, it just made it worse. Im going to the better business. Several meetings with your owner, that is a lie. You just wanted more money from me to resod. That is your companies whole intention. leave it at 1 star. Already had a person come over and said your company basically destroyed my lawn.

My husband and I entered a backyard makeover give away a couple months ago and much to our surprise we actually won! The team at Banfields did such an amazing job from start to finish! We worked hand and hand with their design expert, Sarah who was able to take our thoughts and turn them into our dream backyard! When the crew arrived they worked diligently from sun up to sun down. I must say I was impressed with how hard they worked and how respectful they were of our property. Sid, the team leader, along with his crew exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend Banfields!
