Can t say enough about how great my experience was. Called these guys to help me winterize my sprinkler system. Xavier came out to help and went above and beyond. He not only helped me winterize the system, but also showed me how to do it myself. He then spent an extra 45 minutes answering all of my sprinkler-related questions. Last fall, Xavier helped us identify that our sprinkler system is self-draining, hence doesnt need blowouts (the company that upgraded our system a few years ago did not recognize the self-draining system and recommended annual blowouts). This spring we hired Xavier again to check leaks and upgrade the system. He added a sprinkler head, dug a trench to connect a raised bed drip line to an existing zone, located and repaired leaks, checked and set all nozzles for the backyard, all in just a few hours and for a very reasonable price. He is super knowledgeable about sprinkler systems and takes the time to answer my questions. I highly recommend Gilson and will hire them again.

Several heads on my sprinkler system needed to be replaced and adjusted, etc. Gilson responded quickly, diagnosed all the problems, had all the necessary parts on hand, and fixed everything in one appointment. Trying to get someone to my house to do a sprinkler fix has been extremely hard. I found Gilson online and saw the great Reviews. I called and was in contact quickly with Isaiha. He came and looked at everything and gave me a bid. He explained that in order to give us a warranty they needed to use their parts. I was ok with that and they came back later that week. They did a great job of explaining why they did what they did and I was very happy. All the repairs worked great. Isaiha came back the next day and did some small adjustments and took the time to look at some other potential fixes. I was very impressed with the work. And the time they took explaining everything. I will use them again. It wasn t cheap but it was worth every penny.

GILSON is the BEST!!! I was given Gilson Sprinkler repair information by Mountainland. They said they were the best; they were not wrong. I had a problem with several of my stations squealing a high pitched sound. After talking to all my neighbors and other licensed professionals no knew what I was talking about. No website helped either. I called Gilson and they gave me a few option. The first one worked. They are the best, they were willingly to try even though they had never heard of my problem. THEY TRULY ARE THE BEST! Thank You a millions times over.

Gilson was able to analyze and diagnose the issues with my sprinkler system. My lawn was burning up bad, and one zone of the sprinklers wasn t even coming on. They were very helpful in going through zone by zone to see what the issues were and get the malfunctioning zone to work properly. They are very conscientious in their work and do a very good job with the installation of the sprinklers that needed to be replaced. I would highly recommend this company.

I reached out to Gilson Sprinklers and immediately got a response. By the next day, there were technicians at my house. Isaiah, one of my technicians, updated me during the entire process, was incredibly helpful, honest, and worked quickly and effectively. I felt like the pricing was fair and the whole process was incredibly smooth and seamless. I have used other sprinkler repair companies in the past and was not impressed. I will continue to use Gilson for all of my future sprinkler and irrigation system needs.

This company requires a 50% deposit, which I have no problem with, but they refused to offer anything in writing stating that they would in fact complete the work they quoted. Not sure about you, but that just felt sketchy and like a scam. I cannot trust a company that will not put it in writing, especially when they ask for money up front. Be careful if you choose to engage with them. I received 3 bids and had initially decided to go with them but will use one of the other two instead. In response to the owner of Gilson: You can lie about my combative attitude if it makes you feel better I guess. The fact is that I never even spoke with you so perhaps its just your employee lying to you I guess? Anyway, IF you provide a receipt detailing the scope of work to be provided then why didnt someone say that when I asked for that very thing in writing? Your employee told me that you were unwilling to do something for me that you dont do for your other customers? So, which is it, do you actually provide the scope of work to be performed in writing or dont you. Ive gotten a different story from your employee and now from you in reply to my review. Seems like you guys need to get your act together.

We have had a leaking sprinkler valve in the back yard for a couple weeks. Today Isaiha came to diagnose the problem. He was able to repair the valve quickly, and explained what caused my issue. I am grateful for their quick response. Isaiha was professional, his communication and time estimates were spot on. I am a happy customer. We will be using Gilson again!

I called Gilson to perform an irrigation turn-on at a house I recently purchased. Xavier came out and walked me through the entire process of how to perform a spring turn-on as well as a fall winterization. He checked out the system, fixed a few minor leaks, and gave me a lot of ideas for new planter beds Im installing. Very knowledgeable and willing to answer all the questions I threw at him.

Xavier, from Gilson Sprinklers, was fantastic! He called before the appointed time to let me know he would be there as planned. When he arrived, he listened carefully to what I had already figured out. He then identified the electrical problem on the first try. He fixed it and then made sure the other wires were not equally challenged. He was patient with my questions as I watched him work from 6 feet away, and he was respectful of social distancing for quarantine. After he left, I put Gilson Sprinklers on my calendar for March 1 of every year to have them come do a system maintenance. Id give him an A+++! I called Gilson on Monday, and on Tuesday Alex called to schedule with me (I missed his call) so he tried again a few hours later. He was able to fit me in the following day, gave me a time window, called before heading my way, and arrived promptly. He diagnosed the issues with our system and sprinkler heads, told me a cost, and completed the work quickly. He explained what he did and made sure there was nothing else that needed to be done. Super professional, communicative, efficient, and reasonably priced. He also practiced social distancing, which I appreciated since Im high-risk. I would highly recommend Gilson Sprinklers and Alex.

It was a relief that more work wasn t necessary. He scheduled me for the repairs promptly and knocked out the job quickly with his colleague. The entire time, I felt in the loop and in control of the expenses. He was empathetic to me as a new home owner and I never felt like I was being upcharged or taken advantage of. Called to get a quote for sprinkler winterization and they took the time to talk to me about what I really needed. Turned out I already did everything needed to get ready for winter, and other companies had been trying to sell me services I didnt need! Gilson not only made sure I knew what I needed but they made sure I wasnt going to be taken for a ride. I may not need to pay them for winterization, but Ill certainly be calling them in the spring for some upgrades I have in mind!

Really good service. Xavier called back quickly and came out to evaluate our issue (old valves, old brass heads that were seized on to galvanised pipe). Pleasant guy, knows his stuff. I wanted new valves, local valve shut off and for all the heads to be replaced with modern spring loaded popups. Price quote was right in the ballpark. A touch higher than some others but having seen the quality of work I have no issue with that. Entire yard was done in two days in the middle of summer. Sod disturbance was minimal when the job was completed. Everything was explained when the job was completed and their suggestions on a few head location changes made perfect sense. Very much recommended.

Definitely not impressed!! Called them out to fix a major problem and a few minor problems. They fixed the major problem (wiring) and then proceeded to hold their hand out for their check. I asked them to at least check the system for other issues which they hadnt done! Knowing there were several other problems! So they did that...and pointed out the problems I already knew about. Then they proceeded to hold their hand out for their check again. Not once did they offer to fix the other problems...WHICH IS WHY I HAD CALLED THEM!!! At that point I was disgusted so I paid them so that they would leave. There are plenty of other sprinkler repair companies. You can definitely find one with some integrity. Not. Impressed.

We had two sprinklers that we had tried to get fixed last summer by another company and they couldn t fix them. Xavier came by today, fixed them easily, gave a thorough look at the remaining sprinklers and their coverage and made a few recommendations based on his findings. He was knowledgeable, reliable and had us up and going in a timely manner while being very professional and pleasant. I would recommend them to EVERYONE!

We had two sprinkler leaks and Xavier and another tech were very professional and explained the process. They kept us informed along the way and they discovered a main line leak was the cause of one of our supposed sprinkler leaks. They fixed the ine sprinkler leak and told us everything they could about the main line leak. They explained pricing as they went and even gave a recommendation for the company we were calling to fix the main line problem. Thank you for the honest, respectful, and courteous employees.

Gilson Sprinklers had recently came out and serviced our new home. The tech was knowledgable, helped me better understand the efficiency of using my system and make the needed spring time repairs. This company is one I would recommend to anyone in need of emergency or annual repairs.

Got honesty and a good job done by Xavier, I spoke with the owner earlier and he took his time to explain the job at hand and that even I might be able to do it, I still insisted that he send over a tech and Xavier arrived and got the job done. He took the time to tell me how the stop waste valve worked and winterizing my sprinkler system. The whipple rip off quoted me 1,100 for a job that was not required. Our sprinklers were leaking so we called these guys to come look at them. The guy said he needed to replace a part and it was going to be $400. After spending 10-15 minutes installing the part he found out another thing was leaking and the sprinklers still werent working and quoted $650 in addition to the $400 to repair the second leak. He then asked me for my $400, and became angry and began pressuring me when I told him I needed to call my dad to talk to him about the situation since it was looking like it was going to add up to a lot more than we thought then my husband comes home to find me crying because of how rude the guy was being to me and gave him the money so hed go away. We then went online and saw that the part was $50-60, so needless to say he grossly overcharged. When my husband called the manager to dispute the price, the manager was argumentative and hung up on him after refusing to do anything about it. We ended up fixing the second leak by bringing the pipe to home depot and buying a new one for $10.
