We finished a project with Mike Arata a few months ago fixing major drainage issues and reseeding a large part of our back yard after a home construction project. He is to the point and gives it to you straight. I really appreciate that. Their work is great and fixed all our issues and our grass came up so fast and even now, in January, is so green and looks better than all our other grass! Haha! We are so pleased. I would definitely use them again. And when a question came up more recently, I called Mike and he immediately called me back to answer my questions completely. 5-stars all around.

Mike and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They are very professional. We had a stone patio put in our backyard, a stone walkway and resurfaced stone steps in our front. He also did landscaping in the front and backyard. They went above and beyond on everything. Mike took the time to go over everything to make sure we got what we wanted. I even got to go to the nursery to pick out the plants. He explained which ones would be best in our sunny and shaded areas. Weve got so many compliments. We are very happy.

Simply the best. Mike is an incredible plant and tree guy who we have now used twice to help with our landscaping challenges. The first time was when we moved into the area and after interviewing a number of others picked Mike to do a complete makeover of our outside needs including a fire pit, blue stoned a patio, and added a walkway. I believe he planted 70+ plants and trees and it came out beautifully. And second time was when we were faced with changes to the property around us and Mike and his incredible crew came in and added 5 major very mature trees. If in the future there is a need for further landscaping we would not hesitate to pick Arata Landscaping again, Simply the best!

Mike and his team were fantastic building our new patio and setting up and planting our flower beds. Mike worked hard to understand our wishes and provide ideas and options. It s clear he knows his stuff inside and out when it comes to safe, sturdy, water-smart paving/wall construction, and he was great in selecting appropriate and beautiful plants, too. It was a big job but his team worked tirelessly for 3 weeks, never skipping a day or showing up late. They were friendly, courteous, and thorough. Mike has also remained very accessible for followup questions about the grass and plants, which I really appreciate. I d highly recommend Arata Landscaping for your hardscaping and planting needs.

Weve been an Arata Landscaping customer since September of 2015. It all started with a front yard overhaul, which gave it a much needed charming curb appeal. Later we added a beautiful lengthy flower/plant bed along the east fence line. Since then, theyve come by once a year to maintain (trim, mulch & edge) the beds. This year we decided to replace our tired, rundown 18 year old backyard patio. Mike met with us to understand & discuss our needs, provide his input & review the options; we even visited a job site for perspective. Mike fit us in during his busy season and was able to accommodate our schedule. Mike & his team did a professional job. They were prompt, efficient & courteous. They put in the effort to do it RIGHT; making sure all the materials and install met standards. The results are amazing and transformative. The cleanup effort was above & beyond. Arata took out all the old 70s bushes at our new house and put in bright new plants that make the house look great! Will be using them again when we update the landscaping in the back of the house.

Loved working with Mike and his crew from Arata Landscaping. We wanted to expand our patio and after meeting with Mike made the decision not only to expand it but replace the old pavers as well. He pointed out the different levels from the sidewalk to the patio, and how they were tripping hazards. Considering the long-term and how we want to use the patio we agreed to expand/replace the patio. The pictures show the before and after. Great crew. Showed up on time, worked hard, were considerate and did nice, clean work. Mike takes pride in his work and it shows. End result is something to be proud of. Mike and his team completely transformed our front yard, removing our builder grade walkway that was right up against the house to installing a curved nicolock paver walkway with new beddings all around. We couldn t have even envisioned what Mike s eye immediately was able to create. He was constantly in contact with us from the time we signed until our scheduled project date. My wife and I had Arata Landscaping redo our backyard. They transformed our fairly small backyard into an amazing paver patio with ample planting beds consisting of really high quality plants and trees. The team from Arata Lanscaping did a very difficult removal of a 40 year-old poured cement patio and replaced it with a very pleasing patio pavers while improving the drainage and improving the adjacent wall.
